Previously:
The mission of The Seabrook Academy for Boys continues. The twelve boys rescued, from Thurmaston, near Leicester have been sworn in as brothers. A few months later, two families of brothers, six {3 x twins} and four (2 x twins}, all of whom were cousins, a suitably chastened half-brother, and his lover, have been rescued from Derby. A house has also been 'obtained', in Derby, more by cunning than truly fair trade, which will be a large town base for the school. The house will be used as a base for field trips, special weekends away for older boys, and a base for Mitchell, when he goes shopping.

Scene: The assembly hall of The Seabrook Academy for Boys, on the morning of Friday, 20 April, 1487. On the stage behind the lectern are the boy founding members of the brotherhood, Manley, Maven, Barden and Aldwin Seabrook and Hugh and John Barclay.
Sir Mitchell Seabrook, Headmaster of the Academy and Head of the Seabrook Brotherhood walks on to the stage, and stands at the lectern.
"Good morning, sworn, and yet to be sworn, brothers. Today we add thirteen new names to the list of membership of The Seabrook Brotherhood. We also will be very pleased to add 5 new couples into the Seabrook Register. Once entered, let no man seek to break those bonds, on pain of death.
Today, there is one very special addition to the list of membership. Today, we welcome to the hall, an old companion of some of you, Ralph Raoulin. By the time I found him, after Bosworth, he was already married with a child on the way. His wife, Beverley, and his baby son are visiting Mrs. Clitherow, while this ceremony occurs.
Let us all stand, and swear, on our lives, the sacred Brotherhood Oath. As you will see I have my left hand resting on The Bible; the Seabrook Family Bible, which has been in the family for centuries, going back to the crusades, when Sir Kennard Seabrook, was given this, in gratitude for his services, by King Richard I. Let us all hold up our right hands, and repeat after me, the words of the oath – 'I swear, on my life, that I will keep secret from all people, other than members of The Seabrook Brotherhood, all activities, ceremonies, traditions, rules and regulations of the brotherhood, and its members, so help me God.'"
All the boys and men did so raise their hands, and repeated the oath. The names of the new members, of the Seabrook Brotherhood, were then written into The Seabrook Brotherhood Register of Members and Couples.
"The Seabrook Brotherhood today recognises, by the presentation of these rings, the new additions to the list of couples. I will read the names of the couple and then, as I call your names a second time, please step up onto the stage, receive your rings, from Manley; each ring will have identical numbers for each couple. I will then hug and kiss, on both cheeks, each boy. All the founding fathers will also then do the same. This is a solemn ceremony because you will notice that, as Manley places each ring, I will have my left hand on your left shoulder and my right hand on The Seabrook Bible."
The additions to the Seabrook Brotherhood couples register, on 20th April, 1487, with their numbers, read: -

Scene: The office of Sir Mitchell Seabrook on the morning of Wednesday, June 13, 1487.
"Good morning, Brock."
"An urgent message from Lord Cristall, Mitchell. It is marked Top Secret."
"Thank you, Brock."
Mitchell opened the message, which read: -
Sir Mitchell,
This information is to be kept privy to yourself. I have heard that there will be a battle at Stoke Field, just about 45 miles NE of Sutton Cheney, in a few days' time. I suggest that you might like to take a camping trip, with some of your older scholars, and a few soldiers; hide your party fairly nearby, with a view to continuing your ongoing mission, after the battle.
Good rescuing.
Lord Cristall
Bolsover Castle
Tuesday, June 12, 1487
Either Brinley or Truman were always on duty, outside Sir Mitchell's office, whenever he was there.
"Brinley, please fetch Manley, Maven, Brock, Truman, Fergus, Clifton, and Everard to here immediately. If the boys are in class, tell them the one word "Rescue" and the teacher will understand."
After about 20 minutes, the group was gathered.
"Brothers, I can't tell you all the details but I want us all to take a camping trip, see it as a study in tracking and evasion, as part of your bushcraft training. Pack your gear for a week, or even up to ten days, away. Please be ready by 2.00 p.m. today. We will be riding hard and fast. Thank you, go ahead and get ready. Brock, wait here for a moment please."
"I can't even tell you all the details but I can tell you that our destination tonight will be Long Bennington, where we will camp out in a well-hidden spot. On the way, we may need to evade detection, especially as my face may be recognised, and this must be avoided at all costs. Carry on, and I will see you at 2.00 p.m. in the mounting yard."
Mitchell packed all the cloaks he could find, including the dozen boys' cloaks, which he had bought in Leicester, and went to the room of Hugh and Barden.
"Hugh, Barden. Manley, Maven and I, with a few of the older boys plus Brock and the two brotherhood soldiers, will be away for some days, maybe even up to about ten. Please work well with Icarus, as you are the senior founding fathers on site for the next ten days. I can tell you no more, except, in confidence, don't even tell Icarus, we may well return with quite a few more scholars."
Hugh replied, "Understood, Mitchell, we'll make sure everything runs as usual. Good rescuing."
"You cheeky young whippersnapper, but thank you."
At a few minutes past two, the party departed. The party rode mostly in silence as Mitchell and Brock had made it very clear that it was very important that they were not discovered. A couple of hours' rest was taken, in the early evening, near Saxelbye, after about 25 miles ride, but Mitchell, the only one who really knew what was going on, said that they must push on. Tired men, boys and horses headed on and, at about 12 hours after they had left Sutton Cheney, a suitably secluded camping spot was located in a small copse, on the banks of the River Witham, near Long Bennington.
Camp was established and they all settled down to sleep. A couple of hours after dawn, the party woke and took a quicky skinny-dip in the river.
"Brothers, I can now tell you why we're here. In a few days, not sure when, there's going to be a battle. Some of my old friends are trying to dethrone our noble sovereign, Henry. They have found some poor young simpleton and are trying to claim he is Edward, Earl of Warwick. They are supported by some German, Swiss and Irish mercenaries and they even crowned him Edward VI, in Dublin, about six weeks ago. Now we must remain based here until word is clearly heard about the battle. We will scout out in pairs, for the next few days, and find out what information we are able to. Be careful, don't ask questions, just listen and observe. After the battle, unlike Bosworth, I want us to be on top of the issue of distressed squires, kitchen boys and orphans. We will round them all up and take them back to Sutton Cheney. We will take a break at Saxelbye and establish each boys' experience, or otherwise, of queerdom."
Early on the morning of Saturday 16th June, 1487, Mitchell woke his brothers.
"OK, guys, pack up, we leave in fifteen minutes, we are heading to the village of Elston. We are going to stay at The Chequers Inn; we will, effectively, be occupying the place. It will serve as an infirmary and collection point for our waifs and strays. The battle is to happen just the other side of the Fosse, from Elston."
In the mid-afternoon of Saturday 16th June, 1487, word reached Elston that the battle was over. Mitchell called his brothers together and instructed them accordingly.
"Manley, Maven and I will head over to Stoke Hall, there may be some injured gathering there. Brock, Truman, Brinley, pair up with Fergus, Clifton, and Everard and go search. The battlefield was only a mile WNW of here. Good rescuing."
Scene: The Entrance Hall of Stoke Hall – late in the afternoon of Saturday 16th June, 1487.
"Good afternoon, my man. My name is Sir Mitchell Seabrook, in the special service of Lord Cristall, of Bolsover. I am the headmaster of a special school at Sutton Cheney. My cousins and I have just skirted around the battlefield. As this is a major house nearby, we wondered whether any of the squires or other distressed boys from the battle may have made their way here, seeking some kind of refuge or care."
"Yes, sir, My Lord Cristall warned me that you might be dropping by. His lordship, the local priest and some of the local women are already tending to quite a few injured boys, in the Great Hall, which we have set up as an infirmary. We have acted without fear or favour, there are boys from the camps of both sides. Sadly a few have already died, their wounds too bad to save them but there are quite a few who will recover."
"You're saying My Lord Cristall is here? Show me to him at once."
"Your Lordship, I received your message and have acted accordingly. I did not expect to find you here. These are my two eldest cousins, while there are three other pairs of a soldier and a boy carefully scouting the battlefield and nearby."
"Where else would I be, Sir Mitchell. Our Sovereign Henry ordered me to be nearby to the battlefield and create a base here to deal with the wounded, of both sides, particularly the younger ones. I fear you will have a few coffins to take back to bury at The Miles Ruskin Memorial Field, but there are many who will survive and will be added to the number of your scholars. For now, I have everything under control here, you and your cousins, get back out there and find some more, if you can."
"Yes, my Lord, I have established a base at The Chequers Inn, Elston."
"Come, boys let's continue our mission."
Mitchell, Manley and Maven
"The other teams will have the battlefield and nearby covered. I suggest we scout around the local neighbourhood. Check out farmhouses and other places like barns and outbuildings."
Scene: A farmhouse about a mile from Stoke Hall – early in the evening of Saturday 16th June, 1487.
2 sons of a serf and 3 sons of villeins working for the serf
Mitchell and the boys carefully entered the yard of Wharf Farm, just over 800 yards west of Stoke Hall. As they entered, they noticed that the ferry was on the other side of the River Trent; it had been destroyed.
Mitchell called out, "Anyone, here."
A faint male voice was heard coming from near the back door, "Help, please, we're hurt here."
Mitchell, and the twins, ran to the kitchen, where they found five distressed boys, all of whom had had their clothing ripped from their bodies; the first obvious sight was that they were all bleeding from their arse holes.
"Calm yourself, lad, we're here to help you. Manley, Maven, look around the house, find linen, bedding, clothing, anything we can use to minister to our five new brothers here."
Within a short while, the twins returned with heaps of material and various sound items of boy's clothing. Mitchell and the twins washed the boys, bandaged up their wounds, including placing goodly quantities of linen under each of their bottoms, and dressed them. The boys were given water to drink; some good farmhouse bread, and butter, was also found, which they all shared in. After about half an hour, Mitchell asked the boys what had happened.
The eldest boy, a strapping adolescent of about 16 years of age, replied,
"A group of German mercenary soldiers ransacked the farm and killed our parents, and the parents of our villeins. A few of them raped our sisters, but most of them wanted to use us for their enjoyment. There were about twenty of them. We were each held down by two or three big guys and our clothes were literally ripped off us. We were then laid in a row over the kitchen table, each of our hands held by a different big burly guy while our feet were on the floor. Our legs were spread apart and we were all brutally raped, multiple times; each of us had to endure a pounding, in our rectums, by about half a dozen guys. We were all screaming, and begging them, to stop but they just laughed and called us names like 'fick junge' (fuck boy), 'junge schlampe' (boy bitch), and said other words like 'schöne enge junge fotze' (beautiful tight young cunt) and 'nimm meinen schwanz, du junge hure' (take my dick, you boy whore). The few who raped our sisters dragged the girls away with them, but we were left for dead, here on the floor of our farmhouse. They then stole the ferry; later, we heard them, in the distance, smashing it up, once they were over on the Gawburn Holt side.
My name is Baylee Broadbente, I'm 16, and this is my 14-year-old brother Hailie. The two younger boys are 12, they are Cenric Harte and Nash Wembleye, while the youngest is just 11, his birthday was just a couple of weeks ago, and his name is Radcliff Harte."
"Do you have any transport, do you think, boys, or any horses."
"The mercenaries smashed everything up but there may be a couple of ponies down in the back field."
"Manley, Maven, go see what you can find."
Within about 15 minutes the boys returned with two ponies.
"Cenric, do you think you can walk?"
"A short way, sir, but I'm feeling very weak."
"OK, Cenric, you just lie there."
"Manley and Maven, stay with them, I'm going to have a look around."
Mitchell went searching for some wood he could use for the rails of a stretcher. He found parts of a bed, which had been trashed by the mercenaries, but there were two sturdy long poles he could make good use of. He also noticed some shredded girl's clothing on the floor of the bedroom; clearly, this was where the sisters were raped.
Back in the kitchen, within about ten minutes, he fashioned a stretcher and laid Cenric on it. With the younger boys, he put two on each pony; the rescue party, now with the five rescued boys, then retraced their steps to Stoke Hall.
"Father Heriot, there are five more boys here for your care. We will continue searching."
2 squires from the camp of Viscount Lovell
"Mitchell, I saw a barn near where we found the ponies and I think I saw evidence of a person having crawled that way."
"Good scouting, Maven. You take the ponies and head straight there! I'll be with you very soon."
"Hello, lad, are you one of the grooms?"
"Yes, Sir Mitchell, I'm Trevor, I remember you from when you were at the castle. Can I help?"
"Yes, Trevor. Have you got a good mount for me?"
"Yes, Sir, Bayard here is a good strong horse and well tamed."
"Good, tell Lord Cristall I have borrowed him for a day or two, he will understand."
Mitchell caught up with the twins, just as they were nearing the barn.
"We'll dismount here boys and go quietly forward to the barn. We'll tie our mounts up, here at the side, and go quietly in. I see the signs that you noticed, Maven."
Creeping in, they saw clear evidence of at least one person, maybe even two, having crawled into the back corner.
"Manley, creep forward, try not to be seen. Report what you see."
"There are two boys, they look to be about 14 or 15. They appear to be asleep; they're certainly laying together in each other's arms, but they appear to both be wounded."
"OK, boys, take some linen, from my pack, and creep up to them. Do your best not to frighten them. I'll hang back."
Maven went to the left where the slightly older boy appeared to be propping up his younger friend. Manley headed for the younger boy.
They each gently touched their boy's neck to check for a pulse. They were both quite weak but both boys were still alive. Manley wrapped a bandage around the younger boy's left thigh while Maven, as gently as he could, wrapped a whole swathe of linen around the older boy who was bleeding from near the spleen and also the stomach area.
Manley, speaking very quietly, called out, "Mitchell, come quickly. We need to get these boys to Stoke Hall, and fast. You'll have to pick the older boy up. Maven and I will lift the younger one."
Just as Mitchell lifted the older boy, he stirred, "Hey, who are you? What are you doing to me?"
"Hush, little one, spare your strength. You and your friend are very badly injured. We are taking you to get some help."
"OK, Manley and Maven, you know the 2-person seat carry. Take the young boy to one of your ponies and put him on it. Manley, sit behind the boy and go like the clappers to Stoke Hall. Maven, stay with Manley and assist as you can. I'm right behind you."
Moving very quickly, the group was back at Stoke Hall within ten minutes.
"Father Heriot, these boys need very careful and urgent care. It's getting too dark for more searching today; we'll go out again at first light. I'll stay with these two. Manley, Maven, go check on Cenric, and the others, from Wharf Farm."
Father Heriot and Mitchell now washed both the boys from the barn and applied new bandaging. It was clear these boys would need to be tended very carefully, if they were not to die; Mitchell had sworn to himself to do the most to save these two. He had noticed, despite their injured state, that their posture was, clearly, that of two lovers, not just two squires who had gone into a corner to die together.
In the morning the younger boy stirred a little and looked around himself. He was still quite dazed but he was pleased to see Harlow, right beside him.
Mitchell whispered, "Good morning son, may I know your name?"
"I'm Eduart Ainsley, and this is my friend, and lover, Harlow Hartelle. He really is my rock. Who are you?"
"I'm Mitchell and I'm pleased that you're awake. I think you and Harlow will pull through, but we only found you just in time. When you're fit and healthy, you might like to thank my cousin, Maven, whose keen eyes saw your trail. Anyway, I must go out now, with my cousins, to seek more young lads like yourselves, but I'll be back. Meanwhile, Father Heriot and the local women will look after you."
Eduart and Harlow did recover, but it took many months; they were the last patients to leave Stoke Hall, just a few weeks before Christmas 1487. Wild celebrations greeted them when they arrived at their new home, The Seabrook Academy for Boys. Their coupling had already been added to the list as # 39.
Scene: A small room to the side of the Great Hall of Stoke Hall, early in the morning of Sunday 17th June, 1487.
"My Lord, I need to continue my mission, but I wonder whether you could spare a platoon to patrol towards Rolleston and Southwell. There's a group of about 20 German mercenaries heading that way. They raped those five boys I brought in yesterday and have kidnapped a couple of girls, sisters to two of the five."
"You carry on, Sir Mitchell. We'll hunt those rascals down."
Within a couple of days, the mercenaries were all captured and taken to Bolsover Castle. The girls were reunited with their brothers, at Stoke Hall.
A boy, of only about 11, lying beside the body of a 14-year-old squire
Mitchell, Manley and Maven headed out to the battlefield. The field was now very quiet. The wounded, who had been unable to be saved, were no longer groaning in their deaths and the brotherhood founders feared there would be no more boys alive but they continued their mission. In a corner of the battlefield, they came across a page of about 11 years of age, lying beside the body of 14-year-old squire. They were wearing the colours of Viscount Lovell.
Manley bent down and put his arm around the 11-year-old boy.
"He shouldn't have even been out there, he was told to hang back but he was a loyal squire and he got stabbed with a sword; he lived up to his name, Randell, Randell Lockear, he was just 14¾. I dragged him here, I knew he was dying but I couldn't leave him; we've been lovers for three years now. I don't know if I want to keep living; he was my world and he looked after me. He said I was so cute and some of the older boys did try and have queer sex with me, but he shooed them away and told them to go look for their own boy, I was his and he was mine. I kissed him at the last moment and I think he went to heaven happy knowing I was still alive, and with him, at the last."
"What's your name, lad?"
"I'm Corliss Hyland, I was a page; I think I did a good job, despite my youth. What can I do now? I was in the retinue of a traitor; I s'pose I'll just have to become a beggar."
"Now, now Corliss, I won't have any of that talk. How would you like to finish your education and grow up to have your own family? Maybe you might even name your first son in Randell's memory, then he won't be forgotten."
"How can I do that? I've got no money. I'm just a worthless little boy."
"Mitchell, come over here, please."
"Tell this boy who you are and what we do, please. His name's Corliss."
"Hello, Corliss, my name is Mitchell, and this is my eldest cousin, Manley. I am the headmaster of a special school at Sutton Cheney, which I, and my cousins, have established, just for boys like yourself who have had their lives distressed through warfare. It's a small, but growing school, and you can grow up to be a good, strong, healthy Englishman; what do you say, do you want to give it a go? Please also know that we will take Randell's body and bury it in a special field in the school grounds; you can visit the grave every day, if you wish."
"Thank you, sir .."
"Hey, there's no more siring needed, my name's Mitchell."
"OOOK, Mitchell, if you think I'm worth saving, I'll give it a go."
"Every boy is a child of God and every boy is worth saving."
"Manley, Maven, take Corliss, and Randell's body, back to the camp, I'll keep searching."
Mitchell saw, in the distance, that the other brothers had returned to their battlefield searching duties; so, he decided to continue, his searching, nearby to the battlefield.
Seeing a lot of dead Yorkists, and their mercenaries, in an area known locally as the Red Gutter, he headed slightly east of there, down a dirt track, the windy continuation of Church Lane, which ran by the entrance to Stoke Hall.
He came across a couple of simple shacks, where he noticed evidence of just one person, two at the most, crawling into the smaller of the two. The shack was probably just a store for farm implements, kept there so that they would be closer to the relevant fields. Mitchell dismounted himself, from Bayard, and looped the horse's reins over a nearby hedge.
He moved up slowly and looked through a small gap in the wall of the shack. To his perverse delight, he saw two boys, one about 14, the other maybe 11, both quite naked and both doing what comes naturally to two horny pubescent boys. The 11-year-old was kneeling down, on all fours, like a puppy, and the 14-year-old was fucking his arse; it seemed the 11-year-old was quite used to this, as he was not crying, or screaming, but there were regular groans of sexual pleasure coming from both boys.
Mitchell couldn't resist. He wandered in, bold as brass, and said, "May I join in?"
The two boys jumped out of their skin.
"Pplease, sir, we were just hoping for one last moment of fun before we die. We barely escaped from that carnage at Red Gutter. Are you going to kill us?", were the words of the older boy. The younger boy had just retreated into the deepest corner and was simply cowering, and saying his last prayers.
"Don't fret, lads, I'm not here to kill you, though I did like the sight that I just saw. Tell us your names."
"I'm Squire Wybert Hurste, and my lover over there is Page Truman Read, what are you going to do to us?"
"Well, Wybert, I thought the first thing might be to help you and Truman finish yourselves off. I see that you're both still hard. Have you ever been topped, Wybert?"
"No, sir, I've always been top, and Truman's always offered up his pussy to me."
"Well, young man, I think it's time you experienced some of what young Truman has been enduring. By the way, my name's, Mitchell. You get back in position and carry on fucking your lover. I'll just enter you from behind. I suspect you'll be quite tight, having never been fucked before."
Mitchell took his pants off, and covered his cock with lots of spit. He then knelt down and spread Wybert's cleft. He was met by a lovely hairless young rosebud, which he duly proceeded to lick.
"Hey, what are you doing?"
"Just getting you ready."
"I've never even done that to Truman. It feels good, though. Do you like my boy pussy?"
"It's delicious, Wybert."
"Now I will start opening you up. First one finger, then two and finally three."
"Oh, yes, I used to do that to Truman, but he's so used to my cock now, he just opens up the moment I touch his hole with my glans."
"Ow, that hurts."
"Well, how do you think young Truman has been feeling all this time?"
"That doesn't matter, he's a Page, I'm a Squire, he does what I tell him to do."
"Oh, is that how it is? I'll remember that."
Mitchell added the second and then the third finger. By now Wybert had softened and exited poor young Truman.
"Wybert, be a good boy and finish your lover off. Give him a good blow job while I fuck you: it might distract you; Truman, why don't you work your way around and suck Wybert, we call it a 69, for obvious reasons."
Mitchell felt that his finger work had done its job, and he pushed his phallus into Wybert. The poor wee lad screamed like hell, and said, "No, stop."
"Sorry, Wybert, just this once you need to know what's it's like."
Mitchell pushed on through the second anus ring and deep into Wybert's boy-pussy. Having been starved of a really young boy for some months, he came quite quickly, filling Wybert's cunt with ten good globs of man juice.
Mitchell slowly pulled out and caught the mixture of his cum and the boy's ass juices in his hand, which he duly force-fed to Wybert.
"Now, Wybert, there's one last thing I have to address. I didn't like how you referred to your lover. Truman is a boy, and you're a boy; you need to respect each other as equals! So, in order to push this point home, you will be receiving 11 slaps with my hand, to honour Truman's age, and 14 beatings with my belt, in recognition of your age, all on your bare bottie. After that, I will have a proposition for you."
Mitchell sat on a convenient little stool, which happened to be in the shack, whilst pulling a reluctant Wybert over his lap.
"Truman, sit on the ground, please, and take hold of Wybert's wrists."
The 11 hand slaps, and 14 strokes with the belt, were duly administered. By the end, Wybert was wailing like a baby; he felt his behind to touch his red-hot skin.
"What have you done, to me?"
"I've given you the first and last corporal punishment you'll ever receive from me. Have you thought a bit about being more respectful towards Truman, in future?"
"I s'pose so. I'm sorry, Truman, I didn't treat you well, do you forgive me?"
" Wybert, thank you, you did hurt me a bit, but you also protected me from the other older boys, so, yes, I forgive you. Come here, give me a hug!"
The two boys hugged and spontaneously kissed.
"Now, Wybert, Truman, your side has lost the day but, for you, there is a possibility of a new future. I run a school, not far from here, less than a day's ride, which my cousins and I have set up, specifically, for young boys and men, like yourselves, who have been distressed and/or orphaned through warfare or some other reasons. No questions are ever asked about your past and what happened here today closes that chapter of your life. I can just leave you here and you may well become beggars, or just die of starvation, but, if you come with me, you'll grow up to be well-educated and worthy Englishman. What do you say?"
"Well, Mitchell, are you promising that nothing will be asked; this is a clean slate for both of us?"
"Yes, Wybert, a clean slate, no repercussions?"
"Truman, what do you think?"
"Well, Wybert, this man seems to be a nice man, despite the punishment he gave you; I would also still want to be with you, because I love you."
"Do you mean that Truman? I was quite horrid to you sometimes. I remember, in the beginning, you squealed like a pig."
" Wybert, that's all past now; I enjoy what we do together now and I want to stay with you."
Mitchell interrupted, " Wybert, I suggest you make a formal apology to Truman and then formally ask him whether he still wants to be your partner."
"That all sounds a bit special. Can you help me with the words, Mitchell, please?"
"OK. Wybert, repeat after me, 'Truman, I am very sorry for the way I treated you, please forgive me.'"
Wybert did so repeat those words.
Truman then said, " Wybert, I forgive you. Come here, give me a kiss!"
The kiss, which lasted about two minutes, and was French, having been completed, Mitchell spoke again.
" Wybert, repeat after me, 'Truman, will you become my life partner?'"
Wybert did so repeat those words.
Truman then replied, "Of course, silly, so long as you still fuck me every day." Another long kiss was then exchanged.
Mitchell then said one final set of words, " Wybert, Truman, the so-called 'doggy position' is not very respectful. From now on, I recommend the two positions where you can see each other's eyes – either, where Truman lies on his back and puts his legs over your shoulders, Wybert, or, where he sits on your rigid cock while you lie down and lift him up and down on your cock, while you're holding his waist, or he might just bounce up and down, on your stiff dick."
He then helped both boys put their clothes back on and hugged them very tightly.
"OK, boys, let's get you somewhere safe and properly fed."
Within 20 minutes, Sir Mitchell was delivering two more boys to Stoke Hall.
Mitchell went back out a few more times, through the next two days, but was no longer successful in finding the living. He did, though, recover 20 bodies of boys aged between, sadly, as young as 11 and the eldest, 21.
The twenty were: -
There were nine boys, who had already made their way to Stoke Hall, where they had been treated by Lord Cristall and his team of local women. They survived, and recovered quickly enough, so much so that they were able to leave, with the main returning group, on Friday, June 22nd, 1487. Their names were: -
Fulk Hornsael (12), Gilbert Burgpele (13), Henry Durhere (15), Reginald Wall (16), Edward Clutterbuck (18), Geoffrey Monkhouse (18), Philip Grant (18), William Gloucester (20), and Robert Lancaster (20).
There were also, sadly, a dozen boys who had not survived their wounds, despite having made it to Stoke Hall.
Brock and Fergus, later accompanied by ex-Father Dominicus
"Fergus, I'm the eldest here, apart from Sir Mitchell. I'm sorry it falls to us to search the battlefield. Remember we're looking for the living, the barely living and the dead. Keep an eye out for locals scavenging. They may not be as careful as we will be. Shoo them off, or recruit them to our task.
Before searching, though, I think we should set up a bit of a base where we can bring those we find back to. I see quite a few of Lovell's tents, just over there, are still standing. Let's appropriate them for the use of the mission."
When they arrived there, they found a couple of women who had already set up a makeshift infirmary and were already tending to one soldier and a boy who appeared to be about 16 years of age.
"Good afternoon, my ladies, I see you're already helping a couple of the wounded."
"Yes, sir, we're from Elston and we've always been carers, so we came here, hid near the battle and then came over to these tents after they appeared to have been abandoned. We found just this one soldier who had quite a bad chest wound, but we've bandaged it up as well as we can, and he does seem to be breathing a little easier now. This boy who had a broken arm was knelt, beside the soldier, holding his hand. Neither has spoken."
"Thank you, ladies, my friend and I are part of a brotherhood whose mission is to rescue boys and young men from harmful situations, particularly after warfare. There are nine of us, including the brotherhood's senior leaders, who have come here to do what we can after this battle. As you have this already set up, we'll bring whom we find here. By the way, what are your names?"
"We're the Tillie sisters, I'm Luella and this is my twin sister, Odella.
"Thank you, Luella, we'll be back."
Eventually, the boy did speak and told the ladies that his name was Ash Bushe (16) and the soldier was Augustus Saxon (32), his close friend and mentor. Being as they were ladies, he decided not to say that they were lovers.
A 19-year-old squire formerly in the service of the Earl of Lincoln
Brock scouted around near the area of the heaviest fighting and shooed away a few locals, who were already stealing clothing from the dead and, even, some who were clearly close to death, but could not resist. One of the locals said, though,
"I'm not like those others; I'm trying to help my poor Christian brothers here. We're all God's children and must do what we can, just as Jesus Christ said, 'Dicens, Amen dico vobis, quamdiu fecistis uni ex his fratribus meis minimis, mihi fecistis.' (`Truly, I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.')
"Come then brother, I can do with all the help I can gather. What's your name?"
"Dominicus, brother. I used to be a priest, but I was defrocked for succumbing to perverted feelings, by performing unclean acts with boys. I now live as a hermit, and do what I can for my fellow man, in secret."
"Well, Dominicus, I think we'll have a chat later and introduce you to some of my close friends, who are also members of the brotherhood, in fact, the founders."
Nearby, a young man of about 19-years-of-age was crawling along, clearly very badly injured, trying to escape from such unwholesome attention.
Brock stepped over towards him.
"Leave me alone, you pervert. Can't you just let me die, peacefully?"
"Don't worry lad, I've shooed away those locals. I might discuss the word pervert with you later but, for now, all I want to do is dress your wounds and get you to safety. My name is Brock and I'm with a special brotherhood who make it one of their key tasks to rescue young squires, and other lads, like you, who have been left, for dead, at battlefields. What's your name."?
"I'm Kenelm Read, I was a senior squire to the Earl of Lincoln, so I suspect I'm a wanted man now."
"OK, Kenelm, I'm going to use the precedent of the founder of our brotherhood. Though you'll never know his real name, just as I don't, but I do know that he changed it after Bosworth. Your real name will be just a secret between you and me, and, please trust me, I know how to keep secrets. Your name is now to be Roger Kenworthy."
"Where is hurting, Roger?"
"It's my leg, mostly, Brock. I think it's broken."
"Well, I'm going to splint it using this broken sword here and tie it with some linen. I'll just call my companion across and we'll take you across to Lovell's old camp, where we've set up a gathering and caring point"
"Dominicus, come over here, we need to carry this boy across to the tents."
Dominicus came running and together, using the 2-person seat carry, they conveyed Roger to the make-shift infirmary.
"This boy's name is Roger Kenworthy, tend him as best you can, while Dominicus and I go looking for more wounded."
A 12-year-old page formerly in the service of Sir Thomas FitzGerald of Laccagh
Brock and Dominicus headed back out and soon came across a boy, of only about 12, lain, crying, over the body of a 24-year-old knight.
Dominicus crept up to the lad and said, "Is this dead soldier significant to you son?"
In broken words, whilst sobbing profusely, "This is my brother. We were loyal subjects to Our Sovereign Henry; then that horrible Thomas rebelled. Because we were in his retinue, my brother is now dead. I hate that man. Leave me here, I'm going to kill myself. See I have this dagger, here; I'm sure it will be adequate. I have no‑one left, my other two brothers disappeared after Bosworth, so what's the point?"
Dominicus dived forward, and snatched away the dagger, "There's every point, lad. There's been enough death today and you can honour your brothers by living a good long life and naming some of your children, in their memory, maybe?"
"OK, father, I'll give it a go, but I'll need your help."
"I'll be there for you all the way, my little one. What's your name and your brothers?"
"I'm John, this is Matthew, and my other missing brothers are Mark and Luke. My parents were very religious", were John's words, which were said with a sigh, but also with a small wry smile on his face.
"Brock, we have an orphan here and from what you've told me he will fit in well at Sutton Cheney."
"OK, Dominicus, take him and the body of his dead brother back to the tent. We have multiple missions here today. I'll keep looking."
2 squires who have been in the service of Rhys ap Thomas
Fergus crested a brow and did a double-take because he found two boys that looked just like Egbert Colley and Thorley Lintone, but they weren't; they were, in fact, their respective brothers. By some amazing co-incidence these two boys, whose brothers met, in harrowing circumstances, after Bosworth, had become lovers; they had ended up in the service of Rhys ap Thomas and were drawn to each other, just like their older siblings. They were both mildly wounded and were huddling together for warmth.
"Is that you, Eadwulf, and Stanley?"
"Yes, but who are you, how do you know our names?"
"Well, Eadwulf, my name is Fergus and Egbert and Thorley are good friends of mine; you will soon meet up with them both again. For now, though, let's get the two of you sorted. Your wounds seem quite light. We'll bandage them up and take you across to the camp over there; don't worry, Lovell's troops are long gone. There are already a few other boys gathered over there, and you'll all soon be taken to your new home at The Seabrook Academy for Boys, at Sutton Cheney."
"It's OK Eadwulf, Thorley wrote to me about these guys, he's there with them. I'm sure they mean us no harm."
Sadly, Brock, Dominicus and Fergus, given that their area of search, was the battlefield itself, did not find, alive, any more boys or young men aged 21 or less, but they did identify a dozen such dead, and arranged for their bodies to be taken to a makeshift morgue, in one of the other surviving tents in Lovell's camp.
Truman and Clifton
"Truman, I think we should check in these nearby woods. Some of our brothers, who were rescued after Bosworth, have told me about how they hid in nearby woods."
"Good idea, Clifton, I see Brinley and Everard heading over towards the Yorkist camp, so we'll head over to those woods to the east of there."
As Truman and Clifton entered the large copse, they could not help but hear the sound of many horse's hooves, gently moving, as though they were being encouraged to stay as still as possible. They crept closer to the sound and found themselves, well hidden, on the edge of a good size clearing, where seven boys, aged between roughly 14 and 16, and, every one of them, a good strong strapping lad, were all working hard at trying to keep three horses, each, as still and quiet as possible.
"Clifton, hold back here for now. I'm going to work my way round to that big lad on the far side. He appears to be the eldest."
Clifton used the undergrowth to hide himself as he crawled around the clearing to just within a couple of feet of the big boy. He then swiftly, like a Ninja, grabbed the boy round his neck and put his hand over the boy's mouth, not to suffocate him, but just to stifle any scream, which would have frightened the horses.
Speaking very quietly, Truman said, "Don't worry, lad, we're here to help. I suspect you're all from Lincoln's stables, and you don't know where to go. Now, so long as you promise not to scream, which would frighten the horses, I'll take my hand off."
The boy nodded in the affirmative.
Continuing in not much more than a whisper, Truman said, "What's your name, lad?"
"Kenelm, Kenelm Badcocke, senior groom to the Earl of Lincoln, now unemployed and homeless."
"Well, Kenelm, you're not homeless now. I'm a member of a brotherhood that runs a school, and a farm, about a day's ride from here, where you and all your friends here can have a home for free. We'll also be able to use all the horses. In fact, we've already got about a dozen horses: our stables are well big enough to take another 21; even if they weren't, we'd just build more."
"Just like that, no questions, no pack drill."
"No questions, no pack drill. The brotherhood's founders have a special mission in life, which is to rescue distressed, orphaned and abused boys, and young men, particularly after warfare. That is why my friends and I are here. There are 9 of us scattered around within a couple of miles from here, in groups of 2 and 3. Now we don't want the horses to run away, but the battle is over, so I think if a few of you older ones stay here, with me, my friend, Clifton, a boy of a similar age to yourselves, can lead the younger ones to where we can get help, and then come back."
"OK, I'll start tying up mine and the others will follow my lead; two of them are my assistant grooms, the others are farrier's apprentices. I suggest the grooms stay with me and your young friend take the apprentices to get help."
After a couple of minutes, the horses were all loosely tied to nearby branches, tight enough to make sure they wouldn't leave, but loose enough to allow them to graze. By this time, Clifton had boldly walked, across the clearing, through the middle of the group, to join Truman, after having been subtly beckoned to do so."
"It's OK boys, this guy's here to help us. I think we can trust him. He says we can all go to a school, just a day's ride from here, no questions, no pack drill; we can all put our past behind us."
"That's right, boys. I'm offering you all new lives, you can even change your names if you want to, but you don't have to. The plan is this, my young friend here will lead the apprentices to Elston, where we have set up a base at The Chequers Inn, and we'll get you all sorted, hopefully before nightfall, but certainly not long thereafter."
"OK, Clifton, take the apprentices back to Elston, on a horse each, of course, and bring back help, try to get five men at least, if not ten or fifteen, if you can achieve it. Talk to the innkeeper first, he's been briefed by Sir Mitchell and he should be able to help you round up some locals."
"Sir Mitchell, so your group's linked to a knight? I thought you said we were going to a school?"
"Don't worry Kenelm. Sir Mitchell used to be a soldier, but he was made a knight, after Bosworth, when he did his first rescues. He is a knight in special service to Lord Cristall. He shows no favour to either side in this, or any other, conflict. His sole mission, in life, is to run the school, as its headmaster, and to rescue boys like you."
"I think I better choose some of the quieter horses for the boys; some of these brutes are hardly rideable by a man, let alone a boy."
About five minutes later, Clifton and his party were on their way. Within 20 minutes, they were in the mounting yard of The Chequers Inn.
"Hello, Clifton, young sir, you're on your own, but with four young boys and five horses. What's happening, where are all the others?"
"Well, I think Sir Mitchell and his two cousins may be over at Stoke Hall. My friend, Truman, is back with a group of grooms and 16 horses, in a copse about 3 miles away. Can you help us find some local men who may be willing to help collect the horses and the other boys and my friend?"
"Oh yes, Clifton, Sir Mitchell briefed me that he might come back needing help. I can gather a dozen men together in minutes."
"Meanwhile, would you ask your ostler to help these apprentices, with the horses, and then, maybe, your good wife could rustle up some food for the boys and show them to a room. There are a lot of boys coming, I suspect, so they'll have to share beds, maybe 3 or 4 to a bed."
Overhearing this, Winthrop, the eldest apprentice, a boy of 16 years-of-age, spoke for the first time and said, "Clifton, that'll be no problem. We can all share, in fact, we'll love it, we'll tell you why later."
"Don't worry, Winthrop, I can imagine why. All I can say is, play nice."
"Uh, uh, yes, Clifton."
Within the hour, the 16 other horses were gathered in, along with three very relieved grooms and a 'pleased with himself' soldier Truman.
The grooms were each given a separate room, due to their rank, but it was noticed, the next morning, that each of them had gained a male bed partner, during the night, whilst Winthrop had been left, all on his own, in a giant bed, which was big enough for six boys to share. Kenelm Badcocke (19) was with John Poach (15); Stanford Yoxalle (18) was with Richard Gibson (14); and, Beornræd Claye (17) was with Anthony Marshall (13).
A little while later, Clifton met Winthrop as he was walking downstairs to breakfast,
"What's this with all your younger mates?"
"Oh, I thought it was only fair they go and sleep with their regular lovers, Clifton. Mine died at Bosworth, and I haven't had a lover for nearly two years. It was just about the first thing that happened, on our first days as apprentices. Each of our farriers took us into their back shed, aggressively pulled our breeches down and stuffed a cold poker up our arses. All of us have shared, with each other, that their farrier, and his assistant, often a boy only a few years older than ourselves, each then sodomised us. I know, in my case, I screamed like hell, but I got used to it. The farrier or assistant pressed the poker in my back hole at least once a week and always fucked me afterwards. Sometimes they sucked me in thanks, but more often than not they also gave me a belting for being a lazy apprentice; it just seemed part of the way of things. On one occasion, in a moment of weakness, my farrier's assistant even apologised. He said it had happened to him, and to the farrier, when they were apprentices, so it was just part of the farriers' tradition."
"Well, it seems we will have a few more couples to add to the Seabrook Register."
"Seabrook Register, Clifton, what do you mean?"
"Well, Winston, since you're already clearly queer, I can share with you that The Seabrook Brotherhood is a queer brotherhood; we both encourage and recognise queer couplings. We also recognise them as lifetime commitments and so we record them in a register.
"Come, let's repair to breakfast and see who's here."
Brinley and Everard
"As you know, Brinley, my life-partner used to be a kitchen boy. I know from experience that those boys often get forgotten in the heat of the aftermath of a battle. Those in the King's retinue will be OK, so I suggest we head over to the rear of Rampire Hill where the Yorkists set up their camp."
"Good idea, Everard."
Brinley and Everard approached the rear of the main Yorkist camp, now well deserted and sought out the kitchens area. Much to their delight, there were nine boys huddled together, arms around each other, but seemingly gathered around something in the middle of them.
"I think we should draw our arms, Brinley, this looks a little suspicious."
Brinley, the soldier, and Everard drew their swords, just in case. Sir Mitchell had authorised Everard to own a sword, as, if things had been different, he would have been a knight by now. Everard was quite happy to not be a knight, but also enjoyed the privilege that Sir Mitchell had granted him.
They approached the huddle from left and right; when they were within a sword's length, Everard said, quite firmly,
"What's up, boys?"
The boys all jumped up to reveal a body, with lots of kitchen knives and skewers sticking out of it.
The oldest boy, about 16 years of age, stood up and said, quite defensively, with a puffed-up chest, and fists raised, as if they would do anything against two swords,
"Yes, we did it, we killed him. Every one of us was used regularly as his fuck toy. The first day a boy arrived he would take them out the back, rip their pants off them, and mount them. He was never kind about it, we all have sore asses from his regular poundings; he would say things like, 'You're just dirt for me to play with'. He never even thanked us by sucking us or possibly a hand job: we were just his tools; to him, we were of less value than his precious set of knives; so, we used them to kill him and backed it up with a few large skewers to be sure. He deserved it. Arrest us, do what you want, but I'll never regret killing this cunt."
"Well, young man, you're judge and jury, are you?"
"Yes, I'spose we are. I even tried once to take the matter up with one of the lieutenants but he didn't care. He just put me over his lap, pulled my pants down, gave me thirty strong spankings with his hand, lifted me on to his cock and then bounced me up and down, until he came. I think he died, out there on the battlefield. He did though kiss me and gave me a blow job afterwards, so he was queer, and quite rough about it, but he had his tender side and, in fact, I even went back for more, a few times. I would have liked him to survive, he was a rough guy but had his gentle side and I think he would have looked after me as I got older."
"What's your name, lad?", was Brinley's question.
"I'm Dane Webstere and I'm 16."
"Well, Dane, you're just fortunate today, in fact, you all are. We just happen to be members of a special brotherhood and, let's just say, our sympathies lie with abused boys like yourself. One of our key missions is to rescue boys, like you, who have become distressed and/or orphaned through warfare, which is merely caused by the greed of evil men, and some women, or through the lust and debauchery of wicked men who choose to use and abuse poor wee boys, like yourselves, in order to sate their evil desires.
How would you like to put all this behind you and start a new life at a school where you'll be educated and, among other things, learn about true love?"
"That sounds nice, sir, but we've got no money. That kind of thing costs a lot."
"Don't you worry, Dane! You've all paid, through your bodies, the only dues the school seeks.
Let's clear this mess up and do away with this place. Salvage whatever you might want, including those knives. If they're as good as you say, they're worth rescuing. Retrieve any personal belongings that you may have around and follow us."
After about 20 minutes, the boys were ready, the knives were retrieved and the boys were ready to go.
"OK Dane, dip the cloths in the candles and let's torch this hell hole."
Dane, Brinley and Everard set fire at various points around the tent, and neighbouring tents, while the younger boys stood back and thus Lincoln's travelling kitchens were destroyed.
A short while later, a couple of local women, attracted by the fire, came up and said,
"What are you doing, we could have used some of that cloth."
Everard replied, "I'm sorry ladies, those tents were defiled with debauchery and had to be destroyed."
"Who are you to think you can act like that?"
"We're agents of Sir Mitchell Seabrook, himself a knight in the special service of Lord Cristall. We are here in pursuit of that special service, which is to find orphaned, distressed and wounded boys and young men, particularly after battles."
"Well, since you've just destroyed the source of cloth that we were about to use to tend the wounds of a couple of 16-year-old boys, in fact, twins, just over there, about 50 yards away, you better come and see what you can do."
"OK boys, at the double."
"Less than a minute later, Brinley, Everard and the boys were gathered around two fairly badly wounded twin boys. They were hugging each other and were bleeding quite badly from each arm, they looked like dagger wounds. One of them was also holding his stomach and the other his cheek."
Brinley and Everard went straight to their packs and drew out bandages. Boys, if you've got any linen in your packs, or simple cloth, please hand it over. Many boys reached forward with various pieces of material and the two boys soon looked a bit like two court jesters.
Dane sparked up, "Hey, that's Blake and Benton Brownlowe, they're the younger brothers of that lieutenant I told you about. They even watched me being fucked by their older brother and when I went back the second time they were there again and, that time, they got me to suck them. I enjoyed it, mind you; they're nice boys."
Brinley then said, "Well Dane, it seems you have found your first act of penance. These two are now your responsibility; until they're well again."
"Thank you, ladies, do you know of any other wounded, or even dead, boys?
The older lady, pointing to some woods about 200 yards away, said, with a lump in her throat, "I think there were a few boys over near those woods, I'm not sure all were alive."
"Dane, choose one of your friends to stay here with you, and look after Blake and Brenton, and we'll go over to those woods."
Dane chose a sturdy lad, of about the same age as himself.
Pointing at the boy on the other side of the couple from where he was already kneeling, Dane said, "Alfred, you look after Benton and I'll nurse Blake." Alfred was pleased to not be part of the other group, as he was not a very fit boy; he was already panting from the previous 50‑yard run. At the same time, he was a very quietly spoken boy, who, from his voice alone, might have passed himself off as a 10-year-old. He had always been the first in line to comfort the younger boys, after they had been buggered, by the cook, despite the fact that he, himself, had to endure that same buggery very regularly.
Arriving at the spot where the ladies had pointed to the running group found some fourteen boys, not one yet dead, but a couple bloody, literally, close.
Everard spoke loudly, "Who among are you the fastest runners?"
"That'll be me, Stithulf, Stithulf Holmese and my brother, Eoforwine, here. As you see we're at the front of the group, others are just arriving."
"OK, boys, run like greyhounds, bring me back whatever cloth you can find, the fires didn't destroy it all and we left alone the better tents. Bring back what you can carry, be prepared to make multiple trips."
2 pages who are brothers, one has been responsible for Lincoln's greyhounds
Running back with his first bundle of cloth, Stithulf, shouted,
"Wulfstan, your friends Gage and Chad are back there. Gage is talking rubbish, he's saying he's going to kill all the dogs, then his brother and then himself. He's blubbering and hollering. I've left Eoforwine there to stop the silly boy, but I'll need more help.
Camdyn, Aldway, you're not as fast as my brother and me, but you're still quite good. Come on, there's lots of good cloth up there to collect. Wulfstan, take Colby and Harper with you and solve the problem."
Wulfstan, Colby and Harper ran as fast as they were able; they were there within a few minutes.
"Wulfstan, as the eldest of these younger boys, spoke up, "Colby, Harper, quietly sit down behind Chad, while I talk to Gage.
Now, now, Gage, what's all this stupidity about killing yourself, and your brother, and the dogs. You love the dogs, you love your brother; and, now I know you're alive, who's going to kiss me, and your brother, off to sleep each night? You've still got a job to do.
We've been found by an agent of some knight who rescues boys after battles. He ain't told us any more than that, but they seem good guys; they might even welcome the dogs. Come on, give it a go. You're too young to die, I want us to grow up together as lovers, just like we have been for the last year or so."
"OK, Wulfstan, but you'll have to keep to that lover bit. One of the reasons I was about to kill myself was I thought you must be dead; or kidnapped, you're such a gorgeous boy.
"OK, Eoforwine, I think we've got this under control. You go back to collecting the cloth."
"Oh, you're looking for cloth are you, bandages etcetera. Open those chests there; I'm sure Lincoln won't need that table linen anymore.", were Chad's words, said with some hint of glee, now that he knew he was going to live, after all just over eleven years would have been a really short life.
Gage also, now a little livelier, and once again looking forward to life, sparked up, "My spare clothes, lots of them, are in that chest over there. Also, quite a lot of my older clothes, they were kept for hand-me-downs or giving away to the poor. Use 'em as you will."
Within half an hour of that first run, there was a mountain of cloth, which had been gathered near Brinley and Everard, but quite a bit had already been used.
Two of the most badly wounded were two 17-year-old squires dressed, barely now, in the colours of Sir Thomas Fitzgerald. They were both barely alive but Brinley and Everard didn't hesitate. There didn't seem to be any bones broken but there were quite a lot of bleeds. Whilst the women tended to the other boys, regularly grabbing cloth as it arrived, Brinley and Everard used the last of their supplies to bandage these two most wounded.
They wrapped both boy's chests and then when the first batch of cloth arrived, they quickly followed up with all their legs and giant bandages around their heads, just leaving small gaps for their eyes., noses and mouths. By the time they were finished the two former squires looked more like Egyptian mummies than badly damaged English boys. Their names would be discovered later; they turned out to be cousins and, most amazingly, Barclays. They were, in fact, Hugh and John's fourth cousins and would go on to become senior leaders of the brotherhood; their names turned out to be Clive and James.
The ladies, who had, by now, introduced themselves as Fayre Howlande and Shirley Yonge, had quickly assessed the remaining twelve boys. None of them seemed gravely injured, like the boys being attended to by Brinley and Everard but there were dagger wounds, and some bad cuts, but there was also a group of four boys who didn't seem to be injured, at all, but were huddling together, not simply for warmth, but they looked to be frightened, as though they weren't sure whether they should stay with the group, or run. The ladies decided to just leave them be, for now, but maybe, when the rescuers had bandaged the two severe cases, Fayre, who was the slightly older lady, decided she would ask Everard to have a word with the group.
Shirley squatted down beside two 15-year-olds who both had some bad cuts on their arms. They were Harley and Vincent. Shirley bandaged all four arms with lots of cloth, none of which, fortunately, appeared to be broken. She then left them alone, seeing as, despite their injuries, they were kissing each other. Shirley thought to herself, "Boys will be boys." She had a couple of young sons of her own who she had found, with some of their friends, playing in a rather risqué manner; she had just walked away.
Fayre's first wounded boy was a 16-year-old squire named Ferdinand, who was being comforted by an 11-year-old page, Fulton.
"I think they broke his arms, ma'am. They were a couple of big soldiers, they seemed to be on the run; they just wanted to hurt Ferdinand, just because he was in a uniform of the other side. They tried to pull his pants off, but Ferdinand wouldn't co-operate, so, they gave up and just broke all his arms, and then ran off. Ferdinand and I have been lovers for a few months now, it's like normal in our camp; each squire takes a page as his comfort boy. Sadly, the squires for Gabriel and Jacob died in the battle, so you can see they're just over there, commiserating and mourning with each other."
"Well, Fulton, maybe they can help with some of these other boys, take their minds off their grief. Why don't you call them over?"
"Gabriel, Jacob, there'll be time to grieve later, help these ladies with some of the others, they've got broken legs and arms and some have got bleeds. You're not injured, not physically at least. Be good pages, and pitch in."
Gabriel responded, "OK, Fulton, you always were a cheeky, but right-thinking, boy."
"Where can we help?"
Shirley pointed at two boys who were a few yards away and looked as though they were brothers. "Go check on those two, they look troubled."
"What's wrong, mates."
Thomas replied, "I think my left leg's broken and my brother's right leg. We supported each other to here, but I don't think we can go any further. We're very tired now, at least we're together if we die."
Jacob, who was a good first-aider, said, "I don't think you're going to die, but we'll need to splint those legs. I'll gather some wood. By the way, what are your names?"
The older one replied, "I'm Thomas, Thomas Bertram, and I'm 16, and this is my brother Andrew, he's 15."
Fayre, having sorted her boys, wandered over to Brinley and Everard just as they were finishing with the two 17-year-olds.
"Everard, that group of four over there, none of them are injured but there's something odd about them. They look as though they want to run, but they don't know where to go, so they've stayed with this group, just in case."
"I see what you mean, Fayre; I've been glancing at them too. I'll wander over and find out what's going on."
"Hey, guys, what's up?"
"We're the outsiders, we were never allowed to fit in with the others, so we've just rested over here and we'll move on in the morning. I don't know where we'll go, now our Lords are dead; no-one has ever really wanted us, except for some of the older men who liked to fuck us, so I s'pose we might head to one of the big towns and become rentboys. After all the queer sex isn't too bad; some of the pervs are even quite nice."
"What's your name, mate?"
"I'm Lorenzo, bastard son of an Italian diplomat. He went back to Italy when I was about 8; he left me in the care of the wife of an English Lord. She taught me English but, when I was 12, I became a page and then a squire at 14."
"Well, Lorenzo, we'll have no more talk of this rentboy idea. My friend and I are a part of a brotherhood that rescues boys, like you and your friends, from being rentboys; I think you'll all fit in well at Seabrook."
Events at The Chequers Inn, Elston
By the morning of Thursday, June 21st, 1487, all those who could be, which was, actually, all the boys but Eduart Ainsley and Harlow Hartelle, were gathered together at The Chequers Inn, Elston.
Mitchell and Roger
"Hello, Kenelm, how did you get here?"
"I think you're mistaken, sir, my name's Roger, Roger Kenworthy."
"It's OK, Roger, Brock has told me. I was just lightly teasing you. Now the secret is between the three of us. Don't you recognise me, lad? After all, I did ride your 16-year-old bottie once; as I recall, it was a good fuck too."
"Now, I recognise you, sir, so you're the name changer, eh!? What should I call you now?"
"My name's still Mitchell, but I'm now Mitchell Seabrook. We're all on a first-name basis in the brotherhood, though, so you're Roger and I'm Mitchell. Keep up your spirits. We'll be on our way, to your new home, in Sutton Cheney, soon. You can put warring behind you and become one of my staff at The Seabrook Academy for Boys, of which I'm the headmaster. For now, just rest, your secret's safe with Brock and myself, and I know you already qualify as a brotherhood member. I'll explain that comment when you're back up and about."
Mitchell leant down and gave Roger a good, but not French, kiss on his lips. Roger blushed, but felt good inside; he knew that he was safe.
Mitchell, Brock and Dominicus
"Mitchell, this is my new found friend, Dominicus. I think he will fit in well at the academy. He got caught, like the Lees Priory guys, but he seems a good soul. He's been living a hermit life, for some years, and healing, where he could, in secret. I think he could well serve as a leader for our new infirmary, which you were discussing with me a few weeks ago."
"Well done, Brock, Dominicus will do well in establishing the infirmary."
Mitchell and John
"Hello, John, my name is Mitchell, and I'm, sort of, in charge around here. What's this I hear about two missing brothers?"
"Well, Mitchell, my two elder brothers went missing, after Bosworth but, strangely, a communication was received last year, by Matthew. It was quite brief but it said they had been taken to France but were unable to return to England because they were, not so much in prison, but under close guard, at the Château de Chinon. They said they were being used as 'bum boys?'. Apparently, there was one guard who did not agree with what was happening to my brothers and agreed to get a message out to Matthew. I think Matthew had some crazy plan to go and rescue them once he was made a knight next year. Now I suppose I'll never see Mark and Luke again."
"Well, young John, as you might have gathered. This brotherhood has, and particularly I, have, a special mission in life, which is the rescue of distressed boys and young men. Just you wait a couple of months and things might surprise you."
Tapping his nose, Mitchell gave John a polite but caring and gentle kiss on his cheek, whilst winking.
John was left deep in thought.
On the morning of Friday, June 22nd, 1487, a large caravan, of 66 men and boys, departed from Elston for Sutton Cheney. Many were mounted on horses, with some of the younger boys happily sharing a mount with an older boy, or man, plus a dozen wagons containing 44 coffins; the few belongings, which the boys had; and, a few of the boys who were not so keen on horse riding.
The 58 boys found and rescued in association with the aftermath of the Battle of Stoke Field, the largest group of boys yet saved within one rescue mission, were: -

Repercussions:
Mitchell later learnt the fate of the mercenaries who had gang-raped the five farmer's sons. The report went like this.
The execution of 19 mercenaries and the granting of clemency to 6 others
19 of the mercenaries had been violently executed in the same way, that legend had it, as Edward II had died. In groups of 5, the naked men were tied, at their wrists, to a long horizontal pole where their uplifted arms had been placed. A select group of sergeants then administered, one per man, a red-hot poker straight up their back holes.
Just as the second last group of five were being tied to the pole, the oldest member of the last group, stepped forward and said, " Bitte, bitte, wenn mein freund sterben soll, lass mich bitte mit ihm sterben. Wir sind beide im gleichen alter, er ist nur zwei tage älter als ich." (Please, please, if my boyfriend is to die, please let me die with him. We are both, in effect, the same age he is just two days older than me.)
Now the senior sergeant knew what would happen with the last group; he could also see that this boy was just like the other 24-year-old. The older men were all over thirty and this boy was, clearly, very repentant.
"OK, take that last one down, we'll put him with the last group."
19 men, therefore, each died, more or less immediately, but certainly agonisingly. Their bodies were burnt and their ashes were thrown in the castle moat. The six youngest mercenaries, all under 25, who were made to witness those executions, whilst, each and every one, of those six, was thinking that they would be in the last group to die, were granted clemency.
This clemency was granted on the condition that they would undergo the pain of enduring 200 strokes of the whip, in the presence of Sir Mitchell Seabrook and the five boys they had raped; 100 strokes to their backs and backsides and 100 to their chests and groins. After that, they were to become infirmary workers at The Seabrook Academy for Boys.
The sentence was carried out at Sutton Cheney on the afternoon of Tuesday, 18th September, 1487. The boys who had been held, in solitary confinement, at Bolsover Castle, until two days before, were stripped, in the same way as they had stripped the five boys. They were then each tied to one of six St. Andrew's Crosses, which had been set up in the rear of the grounds of the academy. Their heads were covered in hoods, fashioned from their torn off clothes, and their mouths were gagged with the remaining cloth. Brock, Brinley, Truman, Fergus, Clifton and Everard administered the whippings, turning them around, half-way through, for the lashings to be administered to the front.
Just as the tenth stroke crossed each of the boy's dicks, none having yet touched their chests, Mitchell stepped forward and said,
"OK, sie schweine, wie fühlen sie sich jetzt darüber, was sie diesen fünf jungen angetan haben?" (OK, you swine, how do you feel, now, about what you did to these five boys?)
(We are very sorry, sir, but please, have mercy, I don't think I could survive another ninety strokes. I will do anything for these boys, make me their slave, but please, let me live, good Sir.)
"Ok, guys, take them down, but make them crawl, across this hard ground, and kiss the feet of each of the five boys."
"Now, you have paid your due, but you no longer have the right to your birth names, you have defiled those names and I am sure your parents would be disgusted with what you did. You will each receive new names, from the good book, English names, to make you realise you are being given a new start. You will be assigned those new names, in a solemn ceremony, in the chapel, tomorrow morning. Meanwhile, you will remain naked and undertake an overnight prayer vigil, whilst kneeling, without favour of prayer cushion, in that chapel."
"OK, Brock, take them away."
At the time of Lauds, Father Icarus blessed the six repentant boys and men, and gave them their new names; the names chosen were all the names of healers, as recorded in The Bible.
18-year-old Luke
20-year-old Elijah
21-year-old Elisha
22-year-old Peter
24-year-old Paul
24-year-old Joshua
"My dear brothers to be, today we close a chapter and seal it forever. In this mass, we will celebrate new beginnings for you six men. I will take as my text for today, John 5:14 ' Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, "See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you."'
At the end of the mass, through all of which the six had remained kneeling, as they had been all night, Father Icarus said, "You are all to be given the new surname of Neville, to remind you that you are a group and you must forever be grateful, as a group, for the mercy, which you have received."
Approaching each man, and with his left hand on the Seabrook Bible, and his right on the man's head, Icarus pronounced, in turn: -
"Luke Neville, your sins are forgiven, arise to your new life as a healer in the academy's infirmary." A new cloak was then placed over Luke's head, by Radcliff Harte.
Elijah Neville, your sins are forgiven, arise to your new life as a healer in the academy's infirmary." A new cloak was then placed over Elisha's head, by Nash Wembleye.
Elisha Neville, your sins are forgiven, arise to your new life as a healer in the academy's infirmary." A new cloak was then placed over Elisha's head, by Cenric Harte.
Peter Neville, your sins are forgiven, arise to your new life as a healer in the academy's infirmary." A new cloak was then placed over Peter's head, by Hailie Broadbente.
Paul Neville, your sins are forgiven, arise to your new life as a healer in the academy's infirmary." A new cloak was then placed over Paul's head, by Baylee Broadbente.
Joshua Neville, your sins are forgiven, arise to your new life as a healer in the academy's infirmary." A new cloak was then placed over Joshua's head, by Mitchell Seabrook.
Time will tell as to whether four of these forgiven men ever take male partners within the brotherhood but Paul and Joshua approached Mitchell later that day, to request that their partnership, which had been long-standing, be recognised. They also told Mitchell that they had both willingly accepted their punishment, but swore that they had not raped any of the girls or boys from Wharf Mill, or elsewhere: they had, in fact, tried to stop the assaults, but were just two, against over 20, and they couldn't succeed.
Scene: The office of Mitchell Seabrook, head of the Seabrook brotherhood, on the morning of Thursday, 20 September, 1487. In the office, besides Mitchell - Manley, Maven, Barden and Aldwin Seabrook and Hugh and John Barclay, plus Father Icarus, and Father Stanley, along with Luke, Paul and Joshua Neville.
"Our first order of business will be an extraordinary swearing. What we are about to discuss cannot be discussed in the presence of unsworn brothers, so Luke, Paul and Joshua, just how I briefed you earlier, you are going to be the first brothers ever to be sworn in this office. The minimum quorum of nine sworn brothers is present, so I will proceed."
"Good morning, sworn, and yet to be sworn, brothers. Today we add three new names to the list of membership of The Seabrook Brotherhood."
"Luke! Paul and Joshua told me a very surprising thing, yesterday. I now ask you, both on your life, and on the lives of Paul and Joshua, this question. 'Is it true that Paul and Joshua took no part in any of the rapes you and the others performed and, in fact, tried to stop the assaults?"
"That is true, Mitchell. I also know that all of us younger ones only ever did one or two boys or girls, on any one occasion, but we were all rightly punished, and I thank God, and you, every day, for my life, and I pray for the souls of the dead, may God have mercy on them. For myself I have vowed, yesterday, after we were all given our new names, in the presence of God and Father Icarus, to never have any kind of sexual relations, ever again, be it with a male or female, from now until I die. I will live my life out as a healer and I pray that God will have mercy on my soul."
"My fellow senior brothers, I wish to propose that we institute the Order of Paul and Joshua, an order of chivalry to honour lives lived, or sacrificed, through self-denial and/or bravery. The badge of the order will be two bare feet stepping out on to a road, to symbolise such naked courage. I also propose, that the first two members of the order will, of course, be Paul Neville, and Joshua Neville and that they, and all members of the order, are to have the right to scribe their name with the honorific post-nominal letters of PJ. The Order Day, for this Order of Chivalry, the Order of Paul and Joshua, will be the 20th of September."
All the men in the room, including Luke, Paul and Joshua applauded.
"The motion is agreed by acclamation. Meeting closed."

I hope you enjoyed my submission to Nifty. Thank you for reading it, suggestions for the next stages would be welcome. My thoughts are quite a lot of boy-boy sex and boy-man sex. Eventually, all the boys take wives or become life-partners, but Manley and Maven continue to enjoy fun with Mitchell. They also then have fun with their own offspring. The extended family becomes significant landholders in the Sutton Cheney area, and they take the Roundheads side in the Civil Wars of the 17th century. Further ideas will be developed, but please see the Mitchell Seabrooks file to see the long-term plan. The head of the Seabrook Brotherhood is always the eldest Mitchell Seabrook alive.
As requested, I'd love to hear from you with any comments, support, or constructive criticism. Thank you for your time, I appreciate it.
Now that the basic framework of this story is established, I wish to invite any readers, who care to, to write additional stories about any of the boys, teachers (ex-friars), farmhands (ex‑friars) and other supplementary characters. Within reason, writers are also encouraged to introduce new characters, such as, maybe, other local farmers, merchants, innkeepers, new teachers, other knights or soldiers. I am particularly interested in receiving submissions of back stories for the rent boys (20 of them – see Chapter 7) who, over the years, are met by Mitchell, and, because they are orphans, end up becoming scholars at SAB. Dates of encounter and birth are essential. I will still be the poster of such stories, though the author will be acknowledged. I reserve the right to decline publication and/or request edits of any submitted story. I will also spell and grammar check any submissions, and make any necessary corrections. Please send any such submissions to mthpsnymn@gmail.com.
Remember to please keep the fantasies here on the pages of Nifty. What I am asking is to read about him, dream about him, fantasise about him, look at him, but don't put hands on him, if he is underage.
Finally, I don't want to be nasty, but while I hope you have been helped to get your rocks off, I also sincerely hope that, if you are truly and honestly on the same wavelength as me (see below), then you will have been, when you were reading some passages, and will, when reading many passages in future chapters, be crying. I certainly have been, so crying and weeping, at times, when I have been writing them. I have tried to reflect some of the realities of history, but I also regret that such disgusting, horrific and horrible occurrences did, and still often do, occur, especially during times of war, when lawlessness is often rampant.

Other stories on Nifty, which have been written by this author
Lance and Philip - https://www.nifty.org/nifty/gay/relationships/lance-and-philip/
(I am the Philip and this is an if only story.)
Leo, Patrick and Matthew - https://www.nifty.org/nifty/gay/incest/leo-patrick-and-matthew/
(This story is 11 chapters long and is 95% complete – there are just some 15 key back story sub-sections to be completed, in just one chapter, and then all the remaining chapters, after the already published chapter 1, will all be submitted, in a rush, so to say. The story is in the incest section due to the content of Chapter 1 – while there continue to be incestual elements, a significant part of the overall content would better fit in the adult-youth section – this whole story should be available, on Nifty, within the first quarter of 2021.)
Jim and Pete - https://www.nifty.org/nifty/gay/beginnings/jim-and-pete/
(All I can say is - Pete is me (in substance, but not all true, though much is), and Jim is loosely based on a real person BUT it didn't work out anything like the story.)

My mantra about man-boy and boy-boy love
Boys, and male youth, are tender little cherubs, to be fondled,
stroked, caressed, kissed, cuddled, loved and adored,
and made love to, but only if they are truly willing.
They are not there to just be simply fucked (in either end or both),
corporally punished, raped, abused, kidnapped, physically damaged
or, even, sometimes, killed!!!!!
UNDER-AGE CORPORAL PUNISHMENT, RAPE, SEXUAL VIOLENCE, ABDUCTION, KIDNAPPING AND INVOLUNTARY BDSM ARE NEVER ACCEPTABLE, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To love for the sake of being loved is human, but to love for the sake of loving is angelic
