Chapter 5

I woke up two hours after I had gone to sleep. I really didn't want to wake up so I just laid in bed with my eyes closed. I suddenly started feeling rays of sun that were way to hot to handle, then I felt a breeze. I opened my eyes and realized I was laying in an open pasture. With a thick forest to the right side. I got up off the floor and realized I was naked as the day I came into this earth, I brushed the nakedness aside and started walking towards the forest, suddenly I saw a figure to my left. I stared at the figure for a couple seconds, then I realized it was Kirk.

This made me really happy, it looked like he was holding clothes for me. So I started running towards him. I just wanted him in my arms, I wanted to hold him, to smell him, to kiss him. As I got closer to him I noticed that he had tears running down his angelic face. I got close to him, we stared into each others eyes for a minute or two. Neither of us wanted to break the silence. We just stared into each others eyes, expressing the feelings that we had for each other, feelings that were quickly turning to love.

I closed my eyes and all of the sudden a strong rush of emotions hit me. I felt angry, ridiculed, even hatred, and I didn't know why. It seemed that Kirk noticed the change, he must of noticed it in the look that I was giving him.

He broke down right in front of me. He collapsed onto my arms and held me tight, he started crying harder then he was before.

"I'm so sorry baby, I swear to you I didn't know it was going to happen, please baby, pleases forgive me, I'm so sorry, please, please don't hate me... I love you so much!" he cried as he held me, my naked skin touching his clothed skin. I didn't know why he was breaking down on me and I didn't know why he was saying sorry to me. But I had the erg to get away from him, to run. So I pushed him off and started running towards the forest. He ran after me, crying and telling me how sorry he was. As I was running I felt a sharp pain on my left foot, I had stepped on a harsh stick that was laying on the shrub and now I was falling. I was ready for my face to hit the ground, but that never happened. It felt like I was just falling, forever. This couldn't be happening, this isn't real.

I woke up, I was laying in my bed, safe. I sat up on my bed, supported by me elbows. I was breathing really heavily and had sweat running down my forehead. That was a really weird dream, I thought. I wondered if it meant anything, I was still a bit shaken by it. I was in deep though about the dream, when a beep from my cell-phone interrupted my examination, I was in such deep thought that it made me jump a little.

I took my phone from my night stand and realized it was just a new message. I opened it.

Kirk C <3- Morning Babe, hope you slept alright, I did because I was thinking of you.

I smiled to myself, this guy, were just starting to date and he's already making me feel so good. Even though I was very happy to be hearing from him this early in the morning I was still a little shaken by the dream that I had the night before. Did it mean anything, I don't know. I sure hoped that it didn't mean anything because I was already falling hard for Kirk and I didn't need to go through something like that this early in the relationship.

I wanted to got to sleep but I looked at the time on my phone and realized it was already ten in the morning. So I decided to text Kirk back.

ME- Good morning Kirky, so wut u up to today?

I just laid in my bed and waited for him to text back. About five minutes later he texted back.

Kirk C <3- Kirky? I like it! haha how about we turn that u into a we

I smiled to myself, he likes me calling him Kirky, that made me happy. I didn't have anything planned for that Saturday, so plans with my new boyfriend would be perfect.

ME- Okay, so wut do you have In mind for us?

Kirk C <3- do you want to come over and just hang out? My parents are both out, just my little sister is home, but she wont bother.

ME- Sure, sounds great, but I don't even know where you live babe.

Kirk C <3- I'll be over to pick you up in like twenty minutes then, see you in a bit babe.

ME- Kay, sounds good : )

With that I hurried up and got up to get ready. I took a ten minute shower and threw on some tan cargo shorts and a purple hoodie with the RJHS CHEER logo on it. At about ten thirty, there was a knock on the door. I grabbed my phone and hurried down stairs to get the door. Mom was nowhere insight so I just figured she was at work, she was always really busy on Saturdays because she had a lot of deliveries on that day. I texted her to inform her where I would be, so she wouldn't worry.

I opened the door and a smile crept onto my face, that's my beautiful boyfriend, I thought.

"Hi babe," he said, as he came into the house, wrapped his arms around me and gave me a small kiss to signalize hello. He was wearing purple basketball shorts that read, RJHS Varsity Football, and a black shirt with our schools logo on it in purple. We hugged for about five minutes, I didn't want to let go of him.

"This is really nice," I said, as I inhaled his scent.

"Yeah, it is, but as much as I want to stay like this forever babe, we cant, we have to get going,"

"Oh yeah, haha, oh wait, let me go get you jacket, I left it upstairs," I was about to run upstairs but he grabbed my arm and held me back.

"Hey Jakey its okay, you can keep it, I want you to have it, well borrow it, it'll be my way of being with you even when I'm not," he sounded so genuine, is swear this guy is going to have me saying the L word in record time.

"Kay, ill keep it, but you have to keep mine, and wear it sometimes okay, you look sexy with it on," he nodded and accepted my deal, a cocky smile crept onto his face after I had given him that compliment. He was so cute.

"Kay, you ready then? lets go," he said, as he grabbed my hand and opened the front door for us, we walk all the way to his car holding hands, his car was parked on the curb. I felt kind of scared holding his hand out in the open like that, like if people were looking from there windows and judging. I had never had to deal with this feeling before because he was my first boyfriend, I always thought that I wouldn't care what people would think and that it wouldn't affect me. But as it is always proven in real life, thinking and actually doing are two very different things.

I have to admit, I had never really worried about being gay. All my close friends knew and they were all okay with it. The most important person in my life, my mom, didn't formally know, but deep down in my heart I know that she would be okay with it. The only reason she didn't know was because of my own cowardness. I didn't want to be scared, but I was. I was scared of rejection. That moment, when he held my hand and walked me to his truck, I knew that this guy, this perfect, loving, beautiful, selfless, human being was going to change my life, and for the better.

He opened the door for me when we made it to his truck and I hopped in.

"So who taught you to be such a gentlemen?" I asked as we started the drive towards Kirk's house.

"My dad," he started, "he always said, son you are always suppose to open car doors for women, its just one more way of being a gentleman," he said the last part of that sentence in a voice mock of his dad, it amused me.

"But I'm not a girl babe," I told him, but I made sure that I said it in a tone that sounded like I was not offended.

"Well I was like five at the time, my dad didn't know I didn't like girls, yet," he informed me. Wow, did I just here what I though I heard, his dad knows about his sexual attraction towards men. I just decided to ignore my observation, I would enquire about that later.

"So you don't like it that I open doors for you then?" he asked, he sounded kind of disappointed.

"No, no, no, babe, that's not it at all, I love it actually, its just that I'm not used to it, I'm used to me being the gentleman, but when you do small things like that for me it makes me feel like the luckiest person in the world," I said, quite rapidly. I consolidated my argument by taking his free hand in my hand, intermingled our fingers, scooted up next to him and rested our hands on my left knee.

"Well good, because that's the way I was raised," he said.

We made it to his house in about five minutes. His house was decently sized, upper middle class for sure, two stories, with what looked like an attic that could easily be turned into a bedroom, it was definitely bigger then my house. He parked in the driveway and we both got out of the car. He took me by the hand as we approached the front door, I wondered if he cared if his sister saw us holding hands, but I didn't object.

We entered the house, straight ahead of us was a staircase that lead to the second floor and to the right was the living room. They had two adjacent big comfy looking couches and a very large Sony plasma on the wall. The coffee table was moved towards the side and there was someone on the floor, she looked to be stretching, She looked about twelve, long blonde hair, mosquito bite boobs, a beautiful complexion and the same blue eyes as Kirk. This had to be his younger sister, I thought.

We walked up to her as she stood up, Kirk never let go of my hand.

"Lea, this is my boyfriend Jake," he said to her. I was flabbergasted, he really was out to his family, and, well at least Lea, seemed to be perfectly okay with it.

"Nice to finally meet you," I said as I extended my hand to shake hers. She shook it cautiously, and said, in a really low voice, "nice to meet you too." I couldn't help but notice that she was blushing ferociously.

"Somebody has an admirer," Kirk whispered into my ear.

"Well were gunna go chill in my room for a bit sis," said Kirk to Lea, before the silence got awkward. He took my hand again and dragged me upstairs, his room was the first one on the right as we got to the hallway on the second floor.

"I wonder why she was stretching," Kirk said as we got into his room. His room was what you would expect for a high school athlete, trophies everywhere. He had a desk in one corner, with his laptop on it, a big queen sized bed, a small plasma on the wall, and a book shelf stocked full of books, magazines, and DVDs.

"So Lea and Kirk," I started as I carelessly flopped onto his bed, "Your parents must have been big sci-fi geeks." He flopped on the bed landing on his back next to me, he then got on his side and put an arm around me and rested his blond head on my shoulder.

"Well if you know that I take it you're a big sci-fi geek," he stated.

"Well not really, I just know Captain Kirk is from Star Trek and everyone knows Princess Lea from Star Wars, what's your older sisters name?" I asked, as I intermingled my leg with his.

"Her names Jessica," we stared at each other for two seconds and then busted out laughing.

"I guess your parents weren't in that phase yet babe," I said , trying to sound as good as I could through my laughter.

"But my older brother's named Luke," he informed me, I guess his parents were sci-fi geeks.

He looked up from where he was laying on my shoulder, our eyes locked, and our heads started moving towards each other. Then the gap between us disappeared as our lips met. It was so nice to be able to just kiss him whenever I wanted. His tongue was asking for permission to enter my mouth so I let it in and the hardcore make out session started. He got up from where he was laying and got on top of me. A leg on each side of me, sitting on my crotch. He was getting me really excited. He was touching me all over the place, and grinding himself into me. He was making me go crazy. I had to get him to stop or I was going to blow my load in my pants. I pushed him off, but continued kissing him. We made out for thirty minutes. I think we both sensed when we need to stop, because we both knew that if we didn't we were going to go farther than any of us were ready to go. After we stopped we just cuddled up on his bed. I could of laid there forever, but it was a Saturday and I wanted to do something other than sleep.

"Babe," I said.

"Yeah," he replied.

I took a deep breath, "So, do your parents know about you too, like do they know that you like guys?" I asked cautiously.

"Yeah, they've known since I was fourteen," he started, "It was a big emotional night, but a very long story." I didn't want to pressure him into telling me because it sounded like it was to emotional for him at that moment, he'll open up eventually, I thought.

"Does your mom know?" he asked me.

"No, she doesn't, I've always been scared of telling her, but now that I have you, I think the time is approaching," I said.

"Just know that I'll always be there by your side baby, what ever you decide to do," he informed me. This guy, he made me swoon once again. He always knows what to say, I though to myself.

"Lets go get something to eat," he said, as he got up from the bed.

"Kay, I just realized I didn't even eat breakfast," I stated. We walked back downstairs, hand in hand. When we got back down to the living room we found that Lea was still there attempting to do something, we didn't know what.

"Hey sis, so what are you up to anyway?" asked Kirk, as we made our way towards Lea. She got quiet when she saw me, but it looked like she was trying to muster up some confidence and she did.

She informed us, "I'm practicing jumps, we have cheer tryouts next Friday, I really, really want to make the team Kirk, but its kind of hard," She then proceeded to try a toe-touch jump, it was kind of sloppy and her counts were off.

"Well your in luck little sister Jake here is a cheerleader for the Jaguars, I'm sure he wont mind teaching you some of what he knows, right babe?" he turned to look at me. I was like a deer caught in headlight and I had no idea why, after about five seconds is said, "Oh, yeah, totally I'll be glad to teach you some stuff."

"Great I'll go and make us something to eat then," said Kirk as he disappeared into thee kitchen. I decided to try and bond with little Lea, to treat her like a sister that I never had.

"Okay first off, Miss Lea Colman, your counts on that toe-touch were way off, its clap 1-2, high V 3,4, jump 5-6, clean 7-8, lets try it," we started working on the toe-touch. Kirk came back into the living room with two bologna sandwiches and I gladly accepted mine, I hadn't realized I was so starved. For the next hour I coached little Lea on her jumps as Kirk watched, and they were really starting to look good. I was proud of her.

"Wow! thanks Jake, my jumps are like a hundred times better," she said as she threw her arms around me for a thank you hug.

"Your welcome, be sure to call me when tryouts start, I'll some over and help you with the material," I said as I sat on the couch, Kirk got up from the other couch he was sitting at, he sat down, put his arm around me an whispered, "Your amazing," in my ear. I turned to face him and he gave me a gentle kiss. All four of us hung out all afternoon. At about five, Kirk asked me if I wanted to go catch a movie. I thought about it and realized I hadn't been to the movies in a long time so I agreed. Kirk's parents called and said they would be home in an hour so we decided to leave at five thirty so that Lea would only be alone for thirty minutes. We left at five thirty and Lea gave me a big hug goodbye and thanked me again for helping her with her jumps. I told her she was welcome, and reminded her to call me when she gets the try out material.

We held hands the whole way to the movie theatre. Once there, we chose to watch the new Nightmare on Elm Street. We didn't hold hands when we were in line to get the tickets, or when we got our popcorn. But once inside, as soon as we sat down, he put his arm around me and I leaned into his strong shoulder. Everything just felt right. The movie was alright, it was over by ten so we decided to grab some late night fast food. We went to the local Jack in the Box and ordered our food. He played footsy with me the whole time we were eating. It was twelve by the time we were done eating so I told him to take me home, as much as I wanted to just be with him for the rest of the night I knew that I had to get home. Mom would be worried sick, so texted her to tell her that I was on my way home.

Once we were in my driveway, that feeling of not wanting to leave each others presence came back. I was the first to break the silence, again. I told him thanks for the wonderful night, I told him I though his sister was awesome, and that I wanted him to know how special he was becoming to me. We had another intense make out session before I saw him drive off.

I then went into the house, my mom was already asleep so I just made my way up to my room, stripped down to my boxers and climbed into bed. I looked back at the wonderful day I had, and I realized how lucky I was. Before I went to sleep I got a text message from Kirk.

Kirk C <3- Goodnight babe, I hope you sleep well.

His last comment brought back memories of the night before. I really hoped I slept well also, the dream that I had the night before really scared me. I tried to go to sleep thinking happy thoughts, and the only thing that came to my mind was imaging Kirk laying next to me.
