Chapter 6

The trip to Southern California for the State Sectional Track Championships was sort of grueling and fun all at the same time. At least the first part of the trip was.

Grandma, for some reason, was so excited that me and the trio were among the best mile relayers in the state, that she unexpectedly decided to 'uncover' her cherished VW bus from deep storage, and actually entrusted it to Troy to pilot for the long drive.

I was in shock, because that bus is priceless, and in cherry shape. All four of us went crazy washing, waxing, vacuuming, and doing everything to make that thing look as cool as possible. We figured we'd get our share of attention on our journey, because how often do you see a maxed out baby blue, split-window '58 cruisin' along with four screaming amped-up teen dudes 'singing' at the top of their lungs to ancient rock? haha.

Never.

The way Grandma explained things, Grandpa went to great lengths to keep the VW in perfect shape, and even had it lowered, converting it to the 'surfer look' knowing that the cool factor would cause me to never want to sell it once the bus was given to me some day.

Grandpa rocked.

Anyway, our plan had been to take highway 1 most of the way from Northern California to Los Angeles, where the two day track event was to take place. The semi-finals were set to start on a Monday evening, under the lights of MLR Stadium. Those would be the qualifying rounds. And then it would end on a Tuesday for the finals - another evening program.

Don't ask me how we managed it, but me and the guys talked coach into getting us a free pass from having to attend school on Thursday and Friday of that week, so we would have a full four days to wind our way down the California coast, taking our sweet time, camping along the way. And what excited us most was hitting some of the surfer beaches, starting with Santa Fontine, of course.

I've had dreams of going there, and wondered if it was anything like in the movies. In my mind, there would be an endless sea of half-naked surfer dudes scattered all over the beach doing all the insane things that totally hot dudes do who are lucky enough to live in paradise.

I once read that 'surfing isn't measured in inches or feet, it's measured in fear'. I think that's what sets surfing apart from other sports, and makes it so fun to watch. Well, that and the sexy surfers.

Anyway, we ended up getting out of town by 10 A.M. on Thursday. Since we wanted to have as much room as possible inside the bus for converting the back seat up or down into a bed, we used the rack up on top to tie up all of our other stuff, like duffle bags, a dome tent, an ice chest full of junk food, track uniforms and cleats, and those kinds of things.

Troy took the wheel first, and James called shotgun. So me and John folded out the back bed, and basically just lounged around taking naps on and off.

Other than the fact that riding in the surfer mobile seems like a non-stop roller coaster ride, when you're napping, the Harley-like vibration of the motor, which is right under the bed, gives you major wood - without fail, I might add.

I just thought I'd mention that.

We finally arrived in the Half Pike at around 2:00 P.M. That's where you hit the coastal highway. So from there, it's this super long winding road full of twists and dips and hair-pin turns, and about a one hour drive to the beach where we'd be staying.

By then, me and John were trying to figure out a way to ignore our vibration induced hard-ons.

It was also the same time we came upon some incredibly sharp twists in the road. The G-forces began shifting us all over the bed, and that just wasn't cutting it. So we did our best to get our acts together. John made a futile attempt to adjust his massive, jacked-up dick, which was seriously threatening the waistband of his shorts. And once he realized it was hopeless, we went about folding up and re-converting the bed into a passenger seat.

Maybe it's just me, but everything seems harder to do when you have a hard-on.

After a long struggle, we finally got it done. And while it wasn't as good as looking at John's fabric-busting teen-meat, the scenery we were passing through was great. I mean, the ocean kicks ass.

There were areas where the redwoods nearly met the ocean. We'd drive through old growth groves, where there was this combination of the smell of salt air mixed with redwood trees. And some of the trees were so tall that you couldn't even see the tops. Then boom, you're back above the crashing waves again, and they are blasting vapor off of rocks 300 feet below us as we barely cling to the edge of the road, where the difference between going over the cliff and staying on the road is a matter of a few inches.

It was really scary, and we went for a long stretch white-knuckling it. The scenery was a nice distraction that kept me thinking the worst. And while almost dying can be super fun, it's only after you're sure you've survived that you appreciate it. At least that's my take on it.

James was the first to break the long silence once we got to a safer stretch of highway.

"Dudes, you guys got the GPS ready? Comin' up in around 20 minutes, we gotta start watching for our turn-off."

I grabbed John's cell, and pulled up the map.

"Yup. Um, hang on a sec..." I replied while pulling up the info.

"Got it. OK, we actually hit the campsite before we come to Santa Fontine. It looks like it's around five miles before town."

And we actually got the turn-off right on the first try, which is a big deal, because the road that you turn off on is this narrow dirt road that is just sitting there buried in trees, with no signs. We're talkin' totally hidden.

The instant we started down that road, James cranked up the tunes, and we all started stokin' on the mystery of the hidden adventure that we were driving into head-on. It was creepy cool - that road. And not knowing where we'd end up was a blast.

And after about two miles in, the trees opened up to a large, unmaintained parking area, which was nearly full of cars and 4X4 trucks. And there was a guy that came out of nowhere, and up to our driver's door.

Troy rolled down the window, and James turned down the tunes.

The man looked in, and briefly studied each of us.

"So, you youngin's here for just the evening, or staying overnight?"

"Overnight, sir." Troy replied.

"It's $20.00. A few rules: Whatever you pack down to the beach, you pack out. That means you don't leave litter. Bonfires are allowed, but must be fully extinguished upon leaving. The path down to the beach is dangerous, and descends several hundred feet. We've had several tragic accidents over the years, so take your time, especially if you are carrying heavy items."

We all looked around at each other, wondering who'd be the first to admit we may have made a mistake in picking such a dangerous place to camp. But no one said a word, and the man continued talking

"The first beach you come to is couples oriented, and is where most folks go for day use. Further to the right is the clothing optional beach, which can only be accessed when the tide allows passage around the point. Most of the surfers and younger crowd hang out there because that's where the waves are. But the same rules apply. No littering. Respect the beach."

"Understood." Troy said.

James fished for a 20 dollar bill, relayed it to Troy, and he handed it to the man. The man instructed us on where to park, and off we went.

Ok, so here's the thing. That dude was right when he said the hike down to the beach was freakin' treacherous. For one thing, it was totally distracting trying to carry a great big duffle bag, all while having to watch each and every step down the curvy steep angle of a frickin' cliff. And there was this ridiculously distracting scene before us, with waves crashing on pure white sand, way down below, where people were buzzing all over the place half-naked. I wanted to look at the people, but I didn't dare. One misplaced step, and I would have taken a tumble and knocked Troy and John over like bowling pins. And those two had an even harder time. They each had one handle of the ice chest, so they had to take it super slow. James got off easy, like me.

Once we got to the beach I did a quick scan: There were quite a few people; most were younger couples making sand castles, playing frisbee, or laying out on beach towels soaking up the rays. Since the climb down is so steep, there weren't many kids or super old people. Off to our left there was a volleyball game going on with all sorts of hot looking dudes flying through the air and smashing the ball over the net, or diving for 'saves', to keep the ball in play.

The two guys that caught my attention were a pair of what appeared to be identical twins. They were shirtless and tan, and crazy sexy to look at even from a distance. They had blond, shoulder length hair, a shitload of muscles, and were wearing these great looking Hawaiian style surfer shorts that matched.

It's amazing how much detail you can pick up with even a quick glance if someone is hot. But yeah, they were.

I even looked back at them a second time to make sure they were real. And I think one of them might have noticed me looking. I hope not.

Anyway, since our destination was the surfer beach over on the other side of the rocky point, we continued in that direction, and I found myself sucked in by the awesome power of the crashing waves as they hit the shore in a white frenzy of sparkling bubbles; so many that they sounded like sizzling bacon as they burst by the millions before absorbing into the perfectly smooth sand.

The rocky point that separates the two beaches juts out all of the way from the cliff base to the ocean. And as we got closer we could see that we would definitely have to time it just right, so that we could hurry past the point at exactly the right moment as the waves fell back to sea - like a time portal, daring us to risk our lives before entering the forbidden land on the other side.

And relieved that we had made it in one piece without falling on our asses and drowning, we walked a few yards up to the dry sand, and set our stuff down to rest our arms and check the place out before deciding what to do next.

"Dudes, what the fuck." John said, looking off in the direction of the cliff.

We all followed where his eyes were looking, and there, lining the entire cliff base, were all of these crazy looking driftwood huts that people had built over the years. I figured they must be where people sleep at night, or maybe that's where the surfers go to make out with their groupie chicks and have sex and stuff.

In the other direction, and out to sea, you could see dozens of heads bobbing up and down in the water. And as I watched them, someone got up and caught a wave. I'd never seen anyone surf in real life before, so I was totally blown away by how fun it looked.

I think I want to be a surfer now.

On the beach itself, true to the parking lot man's word, there were naked people all over the place. I tried not to stare too much 'cause I know that straight dudes don't like other dudes checking them out. Which sucks. But yeah, there was a group of them throwing a football around, and there were lots of girls laying out on blankets trying for full body tans. I felt kind a weird wearing my surfer shorts. So I compromised and took my shirt off. The trio must have been thinking the same thing, and they did the same. I thought for sure that John would get all the way naked, but he didn't.

We eventually made our way over to the driftwood huts. Every one of them is totally unique, and some have higher walls than others, and they come in all sizes. None of them have roofs on them though. That part is left open, I guess so you can see the stars at night.

Along the backside of the huts, there's a trail that runs the length, so you can walk back there and look for an empty one and pick the one you like. So we all spread out looking.

There were two girls in one of the structures that I happened upon. They had been reading glam magazines, and I was about to just keep walking, when one of them looked up at me. She lowered her magazine, exposing two enormous breasts that made her look like a human rocket launcher - the kind our troops used against the Taliban.

"Well looky at you! Are you seeing what I'm seeing Cheri?" She said over to her friend.

The other girl set her magazine down, exposing her own arsenal, and I felt like I was under full assault, being devoured by two sets of eyes, and sucked in by two sets of boobs that were big enough to produce their own gravity.

"Momma mia," she exclaimed, "sweetie, if I could evaporate you, I'd breathe you in and hold my breath. Are you new around here baby boy?"

I managed a faint smile, unsure of how I felt about being called 'baby boy.' Maybe it was just beach slang? I wanted to look down to see if the stomach muscles I've been working on were showing, but I didn't. I just tightened my stomach instead, figuring it might help make me look more like a baby 'man'.

"Me and my buddies are just here for a night or two." I said, motioning my hand over in the direction of the other three.

Then the one that had spoken first shook her breasts erotically, as if she were twirling invisible nipple tassels, and said, "If they look anything like you, you'll be seein' more of us later. We'll be doin' jello shots after sundown. Hit us up if you want to give some a try."

I smiled and thanked them for the offer, even though I don't know what a jello shot is. They did seem a little forward, but maybe that's just how beach girls always act. The funny thing is that I completely forgot what they looked like by the time I caught up with the guys.

This being a Thursday, I thought we'd have better luck, but the guys all came back with the same bad news: Every single hut was marked in some way that showed they were taken. And since most of them were empty of people, I figured that meant that they were all taken by all of those surfers out in the water.

So after a half an hour of searching, we ended up going back over to where we'd set our stuff down to try and come up with a back-up plan. We did have our tent with us, and the bus was an option for a few guys as a place to sleep too. So we weren't totally bummed.

Not long after that, and off in the distance, I spotted the volleyball twins walking in our direction. At first I figured that they were just going to their hut. I was pretty excited that I'd get a closer look at them this time. But rather than bypassing us, they walked directly up to us. I was a little worried that we were seen as intruders on their turf.

"Hey dudes." One of them said.

And what I thought earlier about them turned out to be true. They were identical in every way: Haircuts, surfer shorts, awesome green eyes, sexy lips, great butts, totally defined abs, broad shoulders and beefed up rock-hard chests - everything was the exactly the same. I tried not to drool, and acted as casual as possible. But on the inside, my heart was pounding like crazy. They were that hot.

"Hey." Troy said back.

"So yeah," one of them says, "word travels fast around here, and the word is that you all rode in on some sweet wheels that's got a lot of guys talking."

"The bus?" John asks. "Yep, that would be Devon's baby," he said, nodding in my direction.

"Sweeeeeet." They both said in tandem as they looked over at me.

They introduced themselves as Zeke and Zack, and actually took turns shaking my hand first. And the trio introduced themselves after that, all while the six of us sized each other up. Guys do that on the sly, you know.

"So," one of them says to me, "our bud Tyler snapped a few phone pics of your wheels. He came down the cliff not long after you all did. Some of our friends have been looking to buy one to fix up so we'd have room for our boards. Maybe later we can have a look?"

And that's how the conversation started. Once we realized they weren't there to start a turf war, me and the guys chilled, and opened up a little.

James ended up telling them everything about how we were winding our way down the coast to L.A. for the big track meet. And they actually seemed pretty interested in that. Eventually I jumped in and asked them some questions about surfing, and they were very nice about telling me shit.

I wondered why they weren't surfing out with all the others, but I didn't ask. I figured maybe they like volleyball just as much as surfing, so they mix it up. Or maybe they were just hanging out on the beach to check out all the girls.

At one point, Zeke, the one standing on the right of us, came up with something that took us all by surprise. He said that three of their friends that normally show up for the long weekends, had to cancel. And that he and Zack had stuck up a tee-shirt on the hut next to theirs to reserve it for their friends.

Anyway, they offered that hut to the four of us, and we were all pretty stoked about it. We accepted immediately.

They showed us where we'd be staying, and it was pretty damn cool. But the first thing I thought when I saw it, was that it would be too small to fit everyone, especially if the other guys scored with some of the local girls and, you know, had them spend the night. But I wasn't in a position to complain.

After unpacking and setting up all of our stuff, we still had around two hours of daylight. So, John, Troy and James headed off in one direction, and I took off walking down the beach in the opposite direction of the rocky point.

John hadn't said anything to me before they went off their own way. But I could see in his eyes that he wanted to take in some sights - and by that I don't mean nature. I'm also smart enough to know that if I have any chance of me and him having a lasting friendship, I'm gonna need to face the fact that he likes girls first, and guys come in a very, very distant second. I mean, I don't want to put a label on him, but the word 'bi' comes to mind. And I know that equals complex.

I'm cool with that. OK, maybe a little jealous. But I'm cool with it as long as he's doesn't do stuff with a girl in front of me.

Sigh.

I walked as far as I could until I ran out of beach - where the cliff meets the sea.

Down at that end, there are a bunch of rocks, some out in the water a ways, and others up on the beach in the sand. So I found a nice rock to sit on, and from there I just sort of checked everything out.

It's amazing what you can see if you look closely enough. The rocks that were further out in the water had all of these black clam looking things stuck to them. And there were these other super weird things that looked like artichoke hearts - it's almost like they're half plant and half animal. And I even saw a starfish.

I never understood why they call them starfish. I mean, I get the 'star' part, but fish? Really? FISH? I wonder who's in charge of giving sea animals their names - you know - like sperm whales, or squid? And why does a squid become calamari once you cook it? I'd like to have a talk with those guys, because they're messing with my head.

Whatever.

Anyway, just as I was sinking deeper into the amazingness of the ocean, I was pulled away from my thoughts by a tap on my shoulder - which scared the shit out of me.

I turned around.

It was one of the twins, and he was breathing kinda hard from the run over to where I was sitting.

"Hey, bro... me and my brother noticed you stranded over here on the rocks. Did you get dumped by your tribe or somethin'?"

"Hey, hi man," I started, not knowing what to say, "Um, nah, nothing like that. Those guys are upperclassmen, and sometimes it's good to give them their space."

It had come out sounding pretty lame.

"Well, there's enough waves out there for everyone. Why don't you join the party." He said, looking out to the bobbing heads in the ocean.

"I wish. But I don't surf. It's super cool watching though."

"Bullshit. Dude, you're gonna surf. Let's go."

I wasn't expecting that, but I wasn't going to argue. Especially with someone that looked like that. And, OK, I'm not exactly sure why a near stranger would come all the way over to check on me like that, but maybe the twins are nice Mormon guys or something, and they like doing good deeds. Weird.

So off we went, jogging in the direction of the surfing section of the beach. And as we made our way, I couldn't resist the temptation to ask him a question I'm sure he hates.

"So, um, is there any way I can tell you and your brother apart so I'll know which name to use?"

I figured there'd be a scar, or a birthmark, or something that would make it easy.

"Actually, no." Was his short reply.

"Nothing?" I asked again.

"Nope."

I thought about that for a second.

"Hmm, OK, how about if I call you both dude?"

"Awesome." He said, smiling over at me.

We came to a stop where his brother was standing - near their hut, and he looked up like he was happy I'd tagged on over.

"Yo." He said.

I don't usually say, 'yo' to people, but I said it back. And yeah, it was freaky looking back and forth at the two. When they were together, they looked 10 times hotter than when they were away from each other - if that's possible.

After that, I just played follow the leader, and everything was humming along fine - until I found out that we were all supposed to wear wetsuits.

So we went inside the hut, and one of them grabbed a suit from a pile of surfer stuff that he seemed to think would fit me. And if you gotta know the truth, I wasn't all that crazy about the idea of getting completely naked before putting the thing on. But they acted like it was no biggie, and I started changing when they did.

The good news is that I didn't pop a boner over those two when I saw them in the buff. It was a miracle, actually. I've never fantasized about twins when I jack-off, but I think I'm gonna start doing that from now on.

Anyway, once I squeezed my body into the thing, I did wonder if the suit made my butt look as good as theirs looked. I have a pretty nice butt, so hopefully it did.

And with only around an hour of daylight left, we walked out to the water where they showed me all of the surfing basics: How to dive under a wave when paddling out, how to look for the right wave, how to know when it's your turn to 'catch a ride', etc. I don't think anyone really expected me to actually stand up and surf, but I did get in some really awesome body surfing. And I got pretty good at it, considering how old and beat up the beginner's board was that I'd borrowed.

But my favorite part was watching the other guys. They were amazing. There were some incredible wipe-outs too, which was just as exciting to watch as the really good rides.

It was also fun listening to what all those guys lined up waiting for their turn talked about. There was lots of surfer lingo that I didn't understand, so I had to guess what certain words meant.

The hour went by fast. Too fast.

By the time we got back to the huts, the trio was already partying with several guys they'd met, along with twice that number of super cute girls. The girls were all wearing bikinis, and most of them had crazy nice nice bodies.

And as just as I'd figured, John had a couple of girls clinging all over him. I mean, who wouldn't cling to him? But it did bother me to see. It also made me feel lucky to have him as a friend. I guess that's what being torn means.

Me and the twins went over to their hut, so we could get out of our wet suits and into some dry clothes. So yeah, I got to see them naked again. I almost had a heart attack when I got a better look at what was between their legs. But I didn't look too long. I'm pretty good at taking quick glances, and then memorizing them for later.

Just before we were getting ready to head over to where the others were partying, I gathered up the balls to ask them my one burning question:

"So, I have to ask, is this adopt a freak week or something? Not that I'm complaining, but why would cool guys like you want to hang with a punk kid like me?"

I had said it in a joking way, and they laughed, thank God.

"Nothing like that," one of them said, "it's just that we bumped into Troy and the guys earlier, and he mentioned that you were a track phenomenon - that you are probably the fastest high school quarter miler in the state, and possibly the nation. He said that there are no records - anywhere - of anyone your age running the times you clock. So me and my brother figured it wasn't cool to let a legend sit all alone over on those rocks."

"Damn, Troy said that?" I asked.

"Yep," the other twin answered.

And they left me standing there red-faced about 60 seconds too long before suggesting we join the party.

They held out their fists for me to bump with theirs, and I did it back. I'm not very good a fist bumping though. I don't think I put enough strength behind it.

Over where the party was happening, everyone was laughing and having an amazing time. Some of them were doing tequila shots and dancing to tunes, and a tray was being passed around with what must have been jello shots. By then, Troy was over with some guys I'd never seen, and two girls. They were stoking up a ring-pit full of charcoal, which I guess means we were having a big BBQ of some kind. Hot dogs would be my guess. No complaints here.

There were a lot of surfer dudes hanging around by then. Some of them were wearing their wetsuits with the top part unzipped and folded down over the bottom part, giving you this great visual combination of naked upper bodies and amazingly sexy butts covered in tight black surf wear. None of them were completely naked, and I think that's because surfers are more modest than some of the nudist types of people we'd seen earlier in the day.

And since John and James seemed pretty occupied with the giggling glam magazine girls, I went over to one of the large beach blankets and sat indian-style there. And to my surprise, the twins followed, and sat next to me.

The bottle of tequila passed our way a few times, and I even took a small sip just to fit in. But I didn't like the taste. I was really happy someone had handed me a lime to suck on.

The twins each had several swings of the stuff, so it wasn't long before they were pretty loosened up, and we got all involved in some really neat conversations.

I found out that they had graduated from high school the year before when they were still only juniors, which I figure means they're crazy smart. And with the one year jump they had on everyone else, they were taking a year off before starting college. Their parents, who I guess must be sorta rich, basically gave them a pile of cash to go have fun - on the condition that they promise to choose a college after their year off from school. So they had decided to come to Santa Fontine for the year and take up surfing.

I told them about the frat barn, and it seemed like they wanted me to describe every last detail of what the place looked like, inside and out. They really liked the idea that it was gonna be for freshman college guys only. And when I told them about the Brotherhood of Dark Knights, they lit up like Christmas morning. But of course I didn't tell them about the initiation ritual, that's a secret.

Anyway, I was right about hot dogs being the main course for the evening. I'm not sure why, but for some reason they tasted a lot better than the ones grandma cooks, and she makes them great.

I guess it must have been around 11:00 by the time John finally came around. He was super polite about it, and asked the twins if he could 'borrow' me for a few minutes.

They just shrugged their shoulders and said, "Sure."

So I took my queue, got up and followed him.

We walked down to the water before he spoke.

"So, I saw you body surfing out there. Dude, you picked it up pretty fast."

"Thanks," I said, "I had pretty good teachers."

He kicked his foot at the sand.

"So, sorry about not hanging with you much today. Are we still cool?"

I looked up at him and smiled.

"Yeah, of course. Why wouldn't we be?"

"It's just that I wasn't sure how you'd take it, me being around the girls and all."

I thought about it for a second too long.

"Dude, no worries," I said, "I know I don't have ownership rights to you. You are who you are, and I like seeing you happy and having fun."

OK, so that was kind of a lie. But I mostly meant it. I knew from the very first time I met him that he'd never fall in love with me. I'm good with that, I don't have much of a choice.

"I'm glad you're not pissed. Did I ever tell you how fucking awesome you are?" He asked.

"Um, nope. But I think you came close once." I joked, trying to keep it light.

He kicked at the sand again, and beat down a half smile.

"So, the other thing is..." He started.

But I didn't let him finish.

"If you are getting ready to ask me if it's cool if you shack up with one of those girls tonight, my answer is 'have fun'. I know how picky you are with girls, and if you like one of them... have a good time."

And I meant it. Barely.

"I swear to God you are the best friend I ever had. You're also a pretty good mind-reader." He said.

That actually got me to give a weak smile. He smiled too.

And that was it. End of conversation. I felt like crying. But I didn't. I'm pretty sure that it was the worst moment of my life. But what was I expecting? The guy hardly even qualifies as bi. Sigh. I'm so fucked. I'm in love a dude who's 98% straight, and there is NOTHING I can do about it. Nothing at all.

I moped my way back to our hut, grabbed my duffle bag, and brought it over to where I had been sitting. The twins were gone by then, but I saw them over in their hut. It looked like they were getting everything ready for kicking back and crashing.

The beach was partly cleared of people by then, and half of the party crowd had gone to their huts. That's when I noticed the tequila bottle. It was mostly empty, but I grabbed it, un-screwed the top, and took two big gulps. I wanted it to taste bad, because I deserved it to be awful. And it was.

I'm not sure how much time passed. But as the night wore on there came a time when there was no one left on the beach but me. The trio was all hunkered down with the girls in our hut. I could hear the girls giggling, and the guys talking in deep, sexy voices. It sucked.

Grandma says that 'God invented ditches so people would have something to jump out of'. I never knew what that meant until now. And I tried to hold on to that thought as I rolled out my blanket. I didn't feel like I was good enough to deserve the luxury of setting up the tent.

And as I was getting ready to crawl under my blanket and try and figure out a way to get some sleep, there was a familiar tap on my shoulder - the same as I'd felt over where I'd been sitting on the rocks earlier. When I turned to see who it was, sure enough, it was one of the twins. And the other one was standing just behind him. And to my surprise, they were completely naked.

I wasn't sure what to think, or where to look. And then the one closest to me said:

"Dude, we're going for a midnight swim. You up to coming along?"

OK, so they were feeling sorry for me again. But who cares? I was in the mood for pity.

"Definitely." I said without hesitation.

So I grabbed my towel, ditched my clothes, and headed off following them in the dim light of the half moon. One thing is for sure: Following those two, and getting to look at their identical dimpled butts sure had a way of taking my mind off of my problems. I was even smiling.

I hate my hormones. I was NOT in the mood to smile.

Once we got to a place on the beach that was quite a distance from the huts, we set down our towels and slowly made our way into the water. It took some getting use to, but before long we were splashing around, laughing, diving under water, dunking each other, and having a great time. I think that the tequila helped make it even more fun. And I was glad that I'd only had just enough, and not too much.

I'm not sure how long our swim lasted, but when we got tired of treading water, we made our way over to where we could stand waist deep in the water. And as the waves would retreat, the water would dip low enough so that our dicks were totally exposed. And then the water would come crashing back, and swoosh between our legs, and it felt like we were in a giant ocean of fizzing soda water. The feeling was amazing, and it actually started affecting us, if you know what I mean.

So it gets all quiet between us, and one of the guys looks over at me.

"Hey Devon... we saw what happened with you and John. Things like that happen all the time. Me and my brother know, 'cause we've gone through tough times too."

I wasn't sure what to say, mostly because I wasn't sure what they had read into my walk on the beach with John. I guess it was just a sense that they had about it.

"Thanks. Yeah, it's sorta complicated, and I don't hide it very well when I'm upset I guess."

Then it was the other one's turn to talk.

"So, there's that saying that misery loves company, right?" He asked.

"I guess." I answered, not sure where he was going with it.

"We do have one question, and there's no right answer. But when you guys first showed up on the beach today, we saw you do a double take over in our direction when we were playing volleyball. Was that because we're twins, or was there another reason?"

Fuck, I knew that double take would get me in trouble. I KNEW it.

I decided not to lie. And I hesitated for an eternity.

"Um... it was for another reason." I finally said, quietly.

"We thought you might say that. Like we said, there's no right answer."

And then one says to the other, "So do you want to tell him, or should I?"

And the other one says, "Fuck it, let's just show him."

And before I could even think, they wrapped their arms around each other's waists, and pulled themselves together - and it was like they'd instantly melted into a single person. It wasn't just two brothers embracing in the ocean. This was sensual.

Suddenly everything made sense. The reason they'd taken to me was because they could relate to me. And their secret was twice as taboo as mine.

They didn't kiss, but the embrace went on for quite some time. They got so into it that after a while, when the water would rush back to sea and dip down, you could see that they both had massive hard-ons, which were pressed, smack up against each other.

And their hands moved lightly, like feathers on skin; where fingers found dripping hair, and moved through the salty strands like silk. Their hands explored muscular shoulders, sexy narrow waists, and sculpted, rock hard buns; perfectly formed identical mounds, on two sides of a magic mirror that only I could see. The beads of water on their smooth skin glistened in the moonlight. They looked like living art.

It was the sexiest, most erotic thing I've ever seen in my life. Nothing else comes close.

When they looked over to see my reaction. I couldn't find any words, but I didn't really need to say a thing. I just did a backward nod, and smiled. My way of saying, 'awesome'.

They smiled back.

"No one knows." One said over to me.

I nodded again, and smiled bigger this time, because as one of them had said earlier, 'misery loves company.'

And the twin that was closest to me added, "We have another question for you too, but you gotta come over here if you wanna hear it."

I was still speechless,

I hate it when I lose the ability to speak.

I waded over to them, right next to where they were standing. And I just sort of watched like a spider on the wall as they explored each other's body, enjoying the fact that there was someone else in the world who accepted them just the way they are. The gentleness of their touching seemed brand new, like something they'd only recently discovered about themselves. Their passion was fire itself.

They motioned for me to step in even closer. I figured this was it, and I was about to hear whatever secret question it was that required me to be standing so close.

We were in a super tight circle now, and with the crashing waves, our hard-ons moved with the awesome force of the water, causing our three throbbing cocks to come into occasional contact by the sheer will of the ocean.

There were no words between us. We were hypnotized by the erotic feeling, and the effect that the ever-moving sway of the sea was having on us.

The mere sight of their god-like sculpted butts, now within my easy reach, were a vivid, visual kaleidoscope of what the word perfect means.

"This is gonna make me cum..." I heard myself admit.

And rather than responding, I felt two hands on my waist, and they pulled me in closer - so tight, that our pulsing cocks were nearly smashed together. Duel heart beats throbbed through their erections; reverberating through my own, leaving me no escape other than to let it explode in desperate bursts, drenching our bodies; colliding with sizzling foamy bubbles and the foggy ocean mist.

And their shaky-voiced response: Us too. We're gonna cum..."

I was still shooting off like mad when the first of them let loose a powerful shot that glazed my chin and lips, followed by his brother, who blasted away onto every inch of our skin his cum could find. We all moaned in deep tones of ecstasy; arms wrapped tightly around bodies; eyes peering desperately through dripping hair; quivering lips memorizing the blended saltiness of lust and sea.

We stood like that for a while, trying, even praying the moment would last just a few seconds longer. And we were all looking at each other like, 'What the fuck just happened?"

And once we found our minds again, we found our way out of the water, wrapped ourselves up in our beach towels, and headed back to the hut. This time, I led the way.

Of course there is no way anyone would ever believe any of it had happened, so it will remain forever a secret. And not that he deserves my undivided loyalty at the moment, but the strangest part is that it had all happened without me 'cheating' on John. I mean, I blame 100% of it on the ocean.

I'll bet the twins do too.

*Thank you for reading chapter 6! OK, so I'll admit that this one was a little corny, but it was sorta fun to write :)
