........

It had been a week or so since Ethan and I had gotten together. I'd just finished my last class of the day and was leaving the engineering building, about to head home, when I saw Ethan up ahead, just outside the library. He was talking to a nice looking guy I didn't recognize. He looked to be in his late 30s, early 40s. He was slim, but solid, and he stood tall, a good two or three inches above Ethan. He had sandy-colored hair, a bit on the longish side, and a handsome impish face that carried with it a hint of sad resignation. He was wearing a billowy light blue denim shirt tucked loosely into a pair of baggy brown work pants. White socks, black canvas sneakers loosely tied.

As I got closer, I noticed how much the two resembled each other, I figured he must have been a relative. Ethan didn't see me as I came up behind him.

"Hey Ethe, how ya hangin'?"

Ethan jumped, he was startled, and began to stammer.

"Oh, hi, um, yeah, hi .. "

"Ethan, I didn't know you had a brother."

The other guy grinned.

"I'm Ethan's dad," he said, extending his hand.

"I'm Mark, good to meet you Mr Elliott," I said, taking his hand.

"Please, call me Zach, nice to meet you too Mark," he said. His handshake was firm.

"Ethan, you didn't tell me your dad was in town."

"Oh, um, yeah, kinda last minute get-together," he said.

"Last minute? What are you talking about Ethan, we planned this visit months ago."

I turned slowly towards Ethan with a sly look on my face. He was looking down at his feet, mortified to be caught in his lie.

"I've been here a couple of days, Ethan's been showing me the town. I'm actually just heading home now. Oh, wow, look at the time, I gotta get going. Ethan, give your dad a hug."

Ethan leaned in to him, all stiff and embarrassed, and Zach embraced him warmly, kissing him on the top of his head. He took Ethan by the shoulders and leaned back, smiling.

"Ethan, I'm really proud of you. Be a good boy and keep up your grades."

"Yessir," he said quietly.

He turned to me. "Mark, nice to see you. Now, can someone point me in the direction of the highway, I'm a little disoriented in this town."

I felt an immediate sense of loss and opportunity as Zach prepared to leave. I found him captivating and I didn't want him to go. I wanted to take in his rascally face and get to know a bit more about this person who was ultimately responsible for Ethan's being in this world. Without thinking I chimed in.

"Oh, what a coincidence, I've got an errand to run in that area, I'd be happy to go with you, show you the way."

"NO!", Ethan blurted out, "I mean, my dad's in a hurry, he's got to get going, I'm sure he can .."

"Nonsense, Ethan. Mark I'd be happy if you could show me how to get there, I'd appreciate the company for a bit. I've got six hours on the road ahead of me, all by my lonesome."

"But dad, I can tell you how to get there, it's really easy, you just ..", Ethan protested.

"Ethan, it's okay, I'm going to ride with your dad to show him the way. I'll call you later."

"I can go with you guys then, let me just .." Ethan argued.

"Ethan, you told me you have a class now. Etiquette?" his dad said.

"Ethics." It sounded hollow the way he said it.

"Right, so you run along to your Ethics class, Ethan, and I'll make sure your dad gets where he needs to go," I added.

Ethan stared at me, looking all defeated.

"Yessir."

Zach looked at Ethan, then at me, curiously. We left Ethan in front of the library. Ethan didn't seem too happy. I turned and winked at him. His look changed to one of horror.

"So, your wife didn't come down with you, sir, uh Zach?" I inquired

"Actually, my wife and I have been divorced for a few years, Ethan was 16 at the time."

"Oh, I didn't realize," I said.

"Yeah, we're not really in touch these days. Ethan hasn't seen much of her since we split, I'm not even sure where she's living now."

As we walked in silence, I found myself becoming obsessed with this man. My mind kept jumping to some 20 years back, when this guy, Zach, had sired Ethan. I tried to imagine the encounter. Was it romantic and planned, or a spontaneous, over-the-table fuck? I began to wonder what his dick looked like. What he was like during sex. How he was when he orgasmed. Was he a grunter? A moaner? Possibly a screamer? Or maybe the silent type. I'm a bit of a sick fuck, I tend to think about stuff like this. A lot.

The import of being with Zach started to filter through, and I couldn't believe my good fortune. Here I was, walking alongside the creator, the man who had generated my beloved Ethan. The one who had, through sexual union, deposited his DNA which would ultimately produce the object of my obsession. I started to get hard at the thought; I wanted to experience how Ethan was made.

I snapped out of my thoughts and realized we'd been walking in silence for several minutes. I was suddenly giddy and began to blather.

"Must be nice for you and Ethe to get together like this sometimes. Ethan's a great guy, you've raised a fine son."

"Yup, he's a good kid. Um, Mark, I noticed he called you `sir', are you a professor?"

"No, I'm a student, engineering. I know, he calls me `sir' sometimes, who knows where he got that from. I mean, I'm a couple of years older than him, but really, we're kinda the same age. Sometimes I think it's his way of mocking me, like sayin' I'm old and over the hill. You know how he is."

We continued to walk. More silence. More obsessive thoughts as I kept pace with his manly stride.

"I'm parked over there," he gestured, pointing at a compact hatchback, white.

We got in, and in that enclosed space I immediately became aware of Zach's maleness. His scent, the sureness of his mannerisms as he got settled, started the car. I guided Zach in the direction of the highway and watched him as he pulled out of the lot and onto the street. Driving seemed effortless for him. It was like the car was an extension of himself, and he maneuvered it the way he would an appendage of his own body. Smooth, clean, natural rhythm. I found myself becoming enamored by this man.

"So, Zach, you got a girlfriend?"

"Um, no, I'm on my own right now.

"Seriously? A handsome guy like you, I figured you must have tons of women all over you."

"Yeah, right," he quipped.

"I mean it, Zach, you're a very handsome man," I said earnestly.

He murmured something but I didn't catch it.

"I get it, you play the field. You date a bunch of women but there isn't one you're serious about. Yup, that's the way to go."

"Actually, it's been a while since I've even been on a date. We're talkin' YEARS here," he said, turning to me and raising his eyebrows to emphasize the point. He said it as though it were a badge of honor. "I don't really have a lot of time for stuff like that anyway."
"YEARS? Don't you get lonely, not dating and all? I mean, don't you miss, you know .. "

"I'm okay, Mark, I'm doin' just fine."

"Right, but we've all got certain NEEDS, ya know," I persisted. "I mean, nothing wrong with a friendly fuck from time to time."

Silence.

"Has it really been that long, Zach?"

He shrugged.

"Wow," I continued. "I can't imagine goin' without sex. I'd go fuckin' nuts. I'm always horny and my dick demands attention. That's all there is to it."

"Things change as you get older, Mark. Sex becomes less important."

"Really, you mean to tell me you don't think about getting your dick wet?"

"I wouldn't put it quite like that, Mark, but I .."

"You don't imagine how good it would feel to be buried balls deep inside someone? Or having a pair of soft lips pulling on your dick?"

Zack sighed. I looked down and noticed he was tenting slightly.

"You must at least get some decent head from time to time, right?"

Silence.

"Seriously? When was the last time you got a blow job, Zach?"

"Um, what?"

"You heard me, a blow job, when was the last time you had one?"

"Um, that's a really personal question, Mark."

"Yeah, I guess it is," I conceded.

Silence.

"And I'm still waiting for an answer."

He looked over at me. He had a quizzical look on his face.

"Look, it's not important, let's just let it drop, okay," he said.

"Whoa, wait a minute, you've never HAD a blow job, have you?"

"I didn't say that."

"You didn't have to. It's written all over your face. You've REALLY never had a blow job? I mean, NEVER?," I shouted.

"Mark, please, are you going to advertise it to the entire town?"

Silence.

"Linda wasn't terribly into sex and she'd never, EVER, kiss me down there, no matter how much I begged." He paused. "She thought it was, well, dirty," he confided.

"Well, it IS .. if it's done right," I said giving him a wink.

He sighed.

"Look, I haven't been with many women, okay," he continued. "In fact, Linda was the only one. The few that I dated since we split, well, let's just say things didn't go so well. So there it is. I don't know why I'm tellin' you all this but that's the story, so can we just drop it now?"

I looked at him for a good long silent minute, taking in his lovely profile, his cute, troubled face.

"I could give you one," I said matter-of-factly.

"Uh, one what?" Yup, Ethan was truly his father's son.

"A blow job, Zach. You're a very handsome man and I'd love to treat you to something you've never had."

"Uh, Mark, I'm flattered but, um, I'm not into guys," he said.

"Funny, your dick seems to be sayin' somethin' different, Zach" I said, nodding towards the bulge in his pants.

"It's been a while, that's all. But no, thank you. So, where do we go from here?"

"We're not far, really close actually, you can turn in here."

"But it's, um, just an empty lot."

"Just do it, Zach," I said flatly.

He looked over at me, skeptically, and made the turn.
