By Accident

Chapter 4

Hello, world!

We went to the creek several times after that. It became Walker's favorite place to get fucked.

School continued to be a new experience for us, so did understanding the material and getting better grades. I did take note that material I'm sure we heard but didn't comprehend in the other life, was magically in my head, even though I'm know I was clueless to it when it was taught. Interesting.

Our social life continued smoothly, too, though it was widely known that the Captain and Co-Captain were currently without women at their side. Our guy friends didn't think too much about it, but their girlfriends thought it was a travesty, and conspired to remedy the situation.

Pretty girls threw themselves at us left and right. We'd discussed this, Walker and I. Having been the dominant males in the other life, we had to somehow either re-earn that status or yield to someone else. The problem was, no one around here has leadership ability besides Walker and I. Everybody else, to our knowledge, were followers, teammates especially. We played soccer with some very hot guys and some great players, but soldiers, all. Everybody looked to Walker or me. We were the best, and lately, we'd been better--different somehow, but better. The guys recognized that and looked to us in practice. Our team loves to win, so if we were better as a team, no questions were asked...except by the girlfriends.

Our daily routine became: come to school, hang with `your people' until school starts, learn stuff, go to lunch, sometimes alone with Walker, but more and more frequently with 'friends', learn more stuff, and escape to your life which almost always included Walker. We became closer and stronger, and certainly more agreeable to everyone around us

"You're different some how," our friend Lucy was noting after school one day.

"Different how?" Walker asked.

"I'm not sure," she said, "maybe nicer, less self-absorbed."

"Just Walker? or me, too?" I asked.

"Both of you, now that you mentioned it," and her look turned strange for a second. "Of course! How stupid of me!" she exclaimed.

"What are you talking about, Lucy?" I asked.

"When did you become lovers, and me not notice it?"

Walker glanced at me and said, "What are you talking about, girl?"

"Don't you do that to me," she got in his face with a finger. "When?" she asked again.

"About a week ago. It was sorta accidental." he surrendered.

"Accidental? That was no accident!" She lowered her voice, "I always thought you two should be together."

"What are you saying, Lucy?" I freaked.

"Nothing, baby, your image remains in tact, I'm just sayin' I'm not surprised and you two have always looked good together. People were once certain you were lovers, years ago. If you hadn't been such sluts with so many, your secret identity might not be that secret. No body will know that you've changed teams, so to speak.

"And, since this has all come out today," she started, "I might as well tell you that I'm dabbling on the dark side, too so, you're not alone."

"Lucy! You go girl!" I said. "Do we want to know details?"

"Not yet, but it's very interesting..."

"That's how it starts," I interjected. "I think we're reaching awareness, somehow."

"Yea, `cause everything has been different since we discovered this," Walker agreed.

"Everything," I added.

"Are you boys happier like this?" She asked.

"Yea, much!" We said, smiling at each other.

"Well, maybe I'll give my new friend a try, then," she said, "now that I know I wouldn't be alone if it turns out the way I think it might."

"Good luck!" I offered.

"Yea, go for it, Lucy. You won't know til you try," Walker added.

She turned to us and smiled. "Thanks guys. This is just fucking awesome!"

We parted company and headed our separate ways.

I saw a guy ahead of us that looked like it might be Hugo, about half a block ahead.

"Is that Hugo up ahead?" I asked.

Walk looked, "Why I do believe it is. HEY HUGO!," he hollered.

Hugo turned around, waved and walked back toward us.

"Let's have some fun," Walker grinned as he got closer.

"Hey guys, What's up?" Hugo asked.

We did the hand bump thing and I said, "I got a get out of jail card and got out. How `bout you?"

"Don't know. I was thinking about going for a swim, but it's boring by myself."

"Where's Wendy?" I asked.

"With Mom at her dentist."

"So you have the house alone?" Walker asked with a twinkle in his eye.

"For a couple hours, I do," Hugo said as lights dawned on him. "Feel like a dip in the pool?" he asked.

"I would," I said. You up for a swim, Walker?"

"I don't have a suit. Do we need em'?" Yea right!

"Not with just us guys," Hugo said almost enthusiastically.

"Then lead the way, my man," I said.

"By accident" is a work in progress. More to come...
