Conner & Jake Part 21
Authors Note 8/15/20: Dear Readers, i thank you for reading my story as this is my first one i have written on this website, i know it has been a long time since i wrote the last chapter. i had writers block and did not know if i wanted to continue writing the story, i decided i would give it another shot today, if you do enjoy this story and want more chapters please send me email that would be greatly appreciated, story ideas are also welcome
and i know, the spelling and grammar is not perfect, but i am one person writing this and not a professional writer, so please bare with me, i hope you read anyway.

Recap: "after about 15 minutes, i then fall asleep for the night"
Conner POV
Earlier Today Mr.Smith was spotted right outside my house.
My parents were home from work today and immediately sprung into action, they took my baby sisters in their bedroom, locked the room and barricaded it and then called 911.
the police arrived in just 7 minutes, but Mr.Smith was already in the house when they arrived and was found attempting to break down the door of my parent's room, the officers tackled him and took him into custody.
Mr.Smith was in charged with Assault, Sexual Harassment, breaking and Entering, and finally evasion of the police.
i found that was all happening during History Class when Ms.Jacobs told me that Principal Daniels (who now is back during the duration of Mrs.Bee recovery) wants me down at the office due to a family emergency.
i kinda immediately starting to get nervous wondering what was happening when i was walking down to the office,
the Secretary told me the Principal was in his office and to go in there, there was a Police Officer sitting down with him and Principal Daniels says "Hello Conner, before you react i need to tell you, that your family is ok and nobody is hurt, but there was an incident, and that Mr.Smith was involved. i say "what happened, tell me, you are scaring me."
he says "Mr.Smith was found in your parent's house, trying to break into their bedroom and was promptly arrested.
i start thinking what if the police response had been delayed, no telling what Mr.Smith would have done to my baby sisters or my parents.
the officer speaks up and says "he was also found with a knife in his pocket, which he did not bring out during the home invasion. he is now at booking down at the police station.
i try to breathe and take in all the information i am being told.
wow, this is nuts, Mr.Smith has totally lost it, and possibly was trying to kill my family, i know he had a dangerous obsession with me, but he has taken it to a whole new level of craziness.
i am then taken home in a police cruiser and when i get there, i see my mom at the door crying, i walk up to her and start hugging her with tears forming in my eyes. "mom, how are you? i heard that Mr.Smith was in the house armed with a knife. i was just thinking what he was probably planning to do, omg so EVIL!
my mom says "its ok honey, we all got through it, but it was so scary, i was shaking when the officer opens the door and told us Mr.Smith was arrested, your sisters are fine, your dad is a bit shaken up also, he wont admit though.
i then come inside the house with my family and soon text Jake what happened. "MR. SMITH HAS BEEN ARRESTED. HE BROKE INSIDE MY HOUSE NOBODY IS HURT"
Jake soon arrives at my house and the police are still on scene gathering evidence, when i hear an officer say say "who are you? stand back, show me your hands!"
i immediately go see what the commotion is all about and i say "Sir, it's ok, thats Jake, he is my boyfriend, its alright, the officer then says ok, and lets Jake come inside the house.
he soon says "Omg, that text you sent me, i just came immediately to see how you and your family are doing, thank God that psycho has been arrested.
i say "yeah, it was a bit scary, i wasnt home at the time, i was told in Principal Daniels Office, but i am just thinking that the police said he was found with a knife in his pocket, he didnt attempt to take it out yet, but he could of been planning something terrible, he was found trying to knock down the door that my parents and my sisters were hiding in"
Jake then hugs me and says "its ok Conner, he wont be able to do anything harmful against you again, i am sure he will spend a long time in prison"
i say "i sure hope so".
a police officer then comes in the room and says "Folks, do you have anywhere to stay tonight because we want to make sure this was a one-time incident and Mr.Smith the suspect was not working with anybody else and is planning to commit further harm,
my parents say they have work friends they can stay for the night, i look towards my parents and say "Can i stay at Jake`s tonight, i just would feel more comfortable. they say yes, but want me to call them in the morning before i got to school to make sure i am alright.
my parents then take my baby sisters in their car and head towards their work friend's house.
i go into Jakes's car and then we go to his apartment. i guess the stress of the situation finally got to me and i start crying when i get inside his apartment, Jake immediately comforts me by rubbing my back and says "Conner, it will be alright, let it out,"
i regain composure and then say, i am sorry, he says "no need, to be sorry, your family went through a scary situation and you were worried, you know Conner that is one of the reasons i love you so much, you are so sensitive and caring.
Jake suggests we watch some tv to try to distract my mind for now on the situation.
Next Day
things are starting to get back to normal even after just one day after the events of Yesterday, the Local DA Office is pressing hard for a conviction of the maximum sentence.
my family is alright, my dad is now setting up a security camera in front of the house and wants a panic room. my mother is trying to make the most of the time with the twins. next week she will return to part-time work and dad will return fulltime. they are thinking about hiring a baby sitter to watch the twins during the day.
i get back to school and try to focus on my studies, Ms.Jacobs has absorbed Mr.Smith students in her classroom until the school can hire a full time replacement.
after school, i go to the locker room doing my normal assisant duties, when Coach Williams says "Conner, can you come into my office for a moment,"
i do and he then says "i want to thank you for all the hard work you do, but i have to let you go, Principal Daniels says he wants to lighten your duties.
i say "ok, but i am fine,"
he says "i am sure you are, but orders are orders and Principal Daniels is in charge.
i say "alright then, i guess i will go home, goodbye."
Coach Williams waves goodbye and i leave to go home.
that was weird, but i know Prinicpal Daniels has good intentions, so i guess i will let it go.
the caution tape has been removed in front of the house and my parents and sisters are back and are all playing together in the living room, aw, they seem actually happy right now, i head into the room and Izzy actually start to speak and say her first word, she says Conner and then Audrey points and says Ma Ma Da and Conner.
