Jake POV- Friday
towards the End of Football Practice, Damien says "Hey, Dude you want to hangover at my place tonight, my parents are throwing me a party, i think they are just feeling guilty for their constant fighting.

after the phone call with Sophie, i just sit around the house and watch tv, before i take a shower and head out to the party.
7:45 PM
i am now heading out the door to go to Damien`s House, and then get a text from Conner that reads "got "fired" from the Assistant gig for practices by Principal Daniels, see you later. bye"
i then go out into my vehicle and drive to Damien`s house, and when i arrive a bunch of cars are there, probably already a dozen people are their already.
when i enter the house, a teenage girl named Sarah introduces herself to me as Damien`s girlfriend,

Next Day
10:00 AM: i am now just waking up for the day and i check my phone and all these notifications are on my screen from Dad, Conner & Damien,
Conner is just wanting to know when we can hang out, Damien sends me apology saying Sarah told him what happened at the party and she won`t do it again.
and dad is saying that he will be home Sunday around 9 pm.
i decide to text back Conner first and say " i am back home, from the party at Damien`s, i would like to see you, how about sometime later?

Conner POV
Noon. My Parents are in the process of hiring a babysitter, which i think is a terrible idea, especially after all we went through, i don`t want to deal with any more crazy people,
i do understand, that we do need the money and it is not feasible for both of only one of my parents to work, i hope maybe Family and friends could help,
things are even harder when all of my grandparents are deceased, it's not like i even knew them, they passed away before i was born, but this is one of those times, were having no Grandma or Grandpa just feels not normal and weird.
alright, i definitely need to get out of my head, i have a habit of doing that, constantly thinking negative, i cannot wait until Jake comes over in 3 hours.
i go downstairs into the kitchen and mom is warming up the baby formula, and the twins are sitting in the high chairs, i start to make silly faces at them and they just start laughing at me,
my mother turns around and sees me and says "oh Conner, hi i see you are are the source of Izzy and Audrey`s laughter, i was just getting their lunch ready. i reply "i know, i just thought i better get out of my room, oh Jake said he will be over at 3 PM today, is that alright,
she says "yeah, honey that's fine, i plan on taking the twins to my friends Anna`s House, the one we stayed at the other night during the break-in."
i say "ok, what about dad, she says "well, he should be home sometime after 6 PM tonight.
3 P.M
i hear a knock on the door, and my mom beat me to the door and she opened it and said "well, hello Jake, Conner`s in here, but first do you want to see the twins"
he says " yes, Mrs.Edwards.
they are sitting in their cribs in the living room, playing with their baby toys above them.

he replies "i was thinking maybe we could just hang out here a the house and relax.
i say "sounds good to me babe.
we just sit around the house watch TV, have a lovely dinner and enjoy the presence of each others company
shortly after 6 o clock, i hear the door opening i see its my dad walk in, i then say "Hello Dad, how are you doing?
he says "good son, and it appears you are not alone tonight"
i say "no, i invited Jake over for tonight, i hope that is OK, mom knows.
he replies " oh yes that`s fine, Conner.
Jake then walks over and says "Hi, Mr.Edwards"
my dad says "Hi, Jake, you and Conner having fun tonight?"
he says "oh yes, Mr.Edwards we are having a good night tonight, i know your family has been having a rough time lately, and i just want to do my part, just by being here for Conner."
my dad replies "oh wow, you are a very nice young man, you are really a good thing for Conner and i am glad you two are together and doing well together."
i am starting to get a bit embarrassed and say "dad, that was a nice thing to say, i am just a bit surprised you actually said it, you are more reserved about your feelings."
he says "i know son, i just want you to know i am proud of you."
i say "thanks dad"
he says "now, i am going to head upstairs to relax, because unfortunately i have early day tomorrow."
we exchange good nights, and then i go to the couch and try to watch some more tv, when a few minutes later, Jake gets up and turns the TV off,
i say "you tired already?"
