Cresent Moon-1

La Push. The beautiful Quileute Native American Reservation that I was so proud to call my home. Yes, it is cold and it rains a lot here. No doubt, but there is beauty here not matched by any other. The lush green forests that surround the area even up to photogenic moutains. Nothing really happens here,  but we are so full of a rich culture.

Something I wrote on a piece of paper and stared at before crumbling it up and tossing it. I was trying to write a better ad for our family's restaurant than my brothers. The loser has to get a tattoo, nothing embarrassing, however, our parents frown on tattoos and piercings and would flip. I was always picked on by my brothers due to the fact that I was the baby of the five of us. Don't confuse them for bad guys though,  they are so loving and caring and not to mention deeply overprotective. My whole family is...I guess because I'm gay.

"Are you sure you don't want to back out of the bet?" Nathan asked me. Picking up my crumbled up paper and reading it. I heard him chuckle before tossing the paper into the trash can.

"By the looks of that paper, you may want to reconsider."

My brother Nathan a 5'9 russet  skinned muscle freak who works out too much at the gym. Him along with the rest of our brothers who happen to look almost identical to each other. I am the only exception...while they resemble jocks I was the shrimpy lean muscled one who had a round luscious ass, large juicy reddish brown lips that looked like they should belong to a celebrity. They wore their hair cut to their shoulders and in ponytails. I however had to be the different one in the family...again.

Instead of my family's light chocolate brown eyes, mine were a light jade green. My hair went to my upper back and I usually had it styled like my favorite singer's Aaliyah. The ends of my hair were brown and then blonde. My skin was a little darker than my siblings paler complexions. Because I was born looking this way my parents had me tested to see if anything was wrong with me, despite a rare blood type that hasn't been seen in years in Forks....I'm normal.

I sat there on the barstool trying to make up a better ad then my idiot brothers. I honestly had nothing. Most likely they would have something along the lines of women and beer. Like a woman posing with two large filled Beer mugs infront of her breasts. They usually have their heads in the gutter.

"Order up!" My dad called from the kitchen as he set a large tray of hot food on the counter. I looked for the waitress who suppose to be working for us, but she seemed to always have dick on the mind. I saw her talking up a group of rather large guys. They were joking and laughing loudly, but it blended in with how loud it is in here with plates and silverware being tossed around. I couldn't help but feel irritated,  I mean...we give you a job because you say you needed one badly to not even do it. What are we paying her for?

My brother Kevin is a total idiot for screwing around with that girl. If she wanted to get paid for screwing around then head to Fort Angeles. I finally had enough and grabbed the tray and a tray jack before heading to the table where our waitress was at.

"-yeah, I'm totally into motorcycles." She said as I got here during an interesting part of the conversation between all of them.

"Hey,  boobs for brains. You have angry customers." I said to her not even looking at the guys, but I could hear them chuckle from what I said.

"You wanted the job now show us you deserve it." I walked away but stopped when I heard her call me a fag.

"You have a problem with me then we can settle it right now." I challenged her to even say a damn word.

She looked at me shooken, and didn't even say a word but offered a small whimper.

"I don't have time for this bullshit." I said walking away as I could hear more chuckles and could feel eyes on me.

I grabbed my papers and put them in my messenger bag and turned to my dad.

"This Jessica girl is not working out, Dad." I said when "Did It Again" by Shakira began to play loudly on my phone.

I answered it before turning to my dad, "Fire that girl." I said pointing with the phone before putting it to my ear.

"Hold up...what happened?" I asked my friend Angela as I left the restaurant.

"He asked me out!!!" Angela said happily. Angela and I met when she was done by First Beach. She was surfing with some friends, I saved her life.

"Luis?" I asked becoming excited.

"Yes!! I was just working and he came in and asked me out. I nearly burned myself on the coffee." Angela said as she was almost hyperventilating.

"Angela! Relax. You'll do fine. He was attracted to you by just being yourself and will fall for you by just being yourself." I told her as I got into my car and drove home.

"You really think so?" She asked anxiously.

"Yes. I got to go, ang. Mom wants me to help her with the festival. You're still coming right?" I asked as I walked to the door and putting my key in the door.

"Of course! I wouldn't miss it for all the Luis's in the world." She said happily.

"Kay, see ya." I said as I closed the door and removed my shoes. My parents are doing the Japanese no shoes on in the house thing.

"Mom, I'm home." I called putting my messenger back on one of the hooks by the door.

"Come in dear. I was getting ready with the food. Sue Clearwater and Emily Young are coming over to help with the rest. I need you to do all the baking. We need a lot of deserts and I was hoping you would like to make some of your 'secret' recipes." My mom said from the kitchen.

"Are you sure? How many people are coming??" I asked hugging her.

"About the entire tribe." Mom said causing me to get excited.

We don't usually attend the big tribe parties because we work at the restaurant. Well I don't at least.  My brothers go all the time and come back drunk. I guess should thank boobs for brains for being able to go. I was totally excited to finally go.

I started baking everything I knew. From cookies, to muffins, to pies, to cakes, to the fancy stuff like Creme Brule, Flan, Tiramisu. I was the one to bake the deserts at the restaurant because I just had a knack for it.

Knock, Knock.

I went to answer the door and noticed a giant standing at my doorstep.

"Sam Uley." He said holding out his hand to me. His giant hand engulfed my smaller one.

"Cameron Silverheart." I said introducing myself to them.

"Come, my mom's expecting you."  I said walking them to the kitchen. I went back to baking as they talked. There were more knocks at the door, but I was too busy to get it.

"I'll get it." Sam said as he went to the door.

"So nice to meet you." My mom said to the new guests.

"Anytime," I heard an older man say. "Would you look at all the desserts."

"We can thank my son Cam for doing this." My mom said proudly putting a hand on my shoulder causing me to turn around with a large steaming hot pecan pie.

"It was nothing. I love baking." I said putting the pie down next to the mountain of pastries and desserts.

"Cameron, I would like you to meet Billy Black, Embry Call, and Quil Ateara V." My mom said introducing me to the guys that now looked familiar.

"Hey! You're the guy from the restaurant." Embry said happily.

"That'd be me." I said nervously. The first impression of me that they saw was of me as a bitch.

"You're totally funny." Quil said as I rubbed the back of my neck nervously.

"Thanks." I said taking off my apron.

"Anyone want some pie? I made extra." I asked as I began cutting the Pecan pie I just made and handed out plates and forks. I watched the expressions of everyone as they took a bite of my pie. They seemed to love it.

"Oh my God." Quil said moaning in extasy along with Embry. Sam didn't say anything but I could see the pleasure in his face.

"So when is the festival?" I asked pulling some food out.

"Tomorrow." Sue said enjoying her pie.

"Okay. Hey mom can I cook dinner. I'm feeling like chicken chow mein. Anyone want to stay for dinner?" I asked  as the guys got excited. They must get hungry a lot.

"Can we invite some friends? The guys will be hungry." Quil said finishing his pie.

"Sure. I'll just make extra." I said as I pushed everyone out of the kitchen and began cooking. I hear others coming into the house as the living room erupted with talking and laughing and people joking around.

"Excuse me. May I get something to drink?" I heard someone as kindly.

"Oh, sure. The fridge is free access. Help yourself." I said putting the finishing touches on the food.

"Do you need help?" The guy asked as I looked into his eyes and I can tell you that I was blushing. Just from looking at him...I was mesmerized.

"N-no. I'm alright. But you can help set the table." I said blushing causing the guy to smile. I noticed now that he was wearing shorts and a shirt and was walking barefoot.

I watched him set the table neatly. I was pretty sure he knew I was watching,  he was glancing at me. This was going to be an interesting dinner.

/First chapter. I know everyone would choose Jacob over Seth because they love Taylor Lautner...I do too. However, I wanted to be different. Booboo Stewart is just too cute.\
