Eric & Dennis Chapter 4
It's been a week senice my accident. The doctor said I could go back to work when ever I felt up to it. Eric and I talked about it and decided on half days for now. I called my captain and set it up. He said he could put me in a desk job till I felt better. I told him that would be okay till I went back for full days. I asked him if my new uniforms came in yet and he said they had and I could pick them up when ever.
So Eric and I went down to the office to pick them up. Eric's been driving me around senice my accident. We then went out to lunch at a gay coffee shop and it was nice. Eric was hitting on the waiter. Then he wanted to go home with the waiter. I told him if he wanted to then go a head but then we would be finished. He said right. He went home with the waiter after the waiter was done with the lunch rush. I went back to my place and took some pain killers and went to bed.
Then I got a strange phone call on my cell. It was a guy name Christopher. It turns out captain Johns made him my new partner on this new account they just signed on for. Christopher has been with the Security firm for about two weeks or so Johns said and after he heard what happened to you he want to be your partner. He said you two will be the only two on the new account because they only need two officers during the day time 8-5pm if I could handle it. I told him that I could. He told me to go to Denny's to meet him and Christopher for dinner so he could work out the details with us.
I got up. Because I could not sleep any more after that phone call. I went to go take a shower. Got dressed and decided to log into my stock portfolio to see how my stocks were doing. They were doing okay. then I set up to sell 150 shares of IBM at $115.00 per a share. Then I saved the other 200 shares for my long term savings. And 30 mins before the market closed it sold and I made $17,000.00 . I put the money into my checking account.
I had about an hour before I had to meet them at Denny's. So I decided to go upgrade my car. So I went to the mazda dealership. I decided on a 2003 mazda 929 instead of the 1991 323 I had. The sales man said he had a red on with 5,000 miles on it.
He said it would run about $15,000.00 with my trade in. I asked him how long will it take to complete the sale. He said about half an hour. So I wrote him a check for the car.
He said he would have to call the bank. The bank told him my check was good. I told him to write it up and I will be out moving out. When I was done I signed the paper work and then headed for Denny's to meet Captain Johns and Christopher. When I got there they were waiting on me. I sat down and cp. Johns started Talking to us about the new account. It was a computer warehouse in Denver. And that we would have to relocate.
But he would get us the full details in a few weeks. with that he excused him self and then left.
I was starving so I decided to order something to eat. Captain Johns and Christopher arrived together. Christopher asked me if I could take him home after we ate. I told him yes that was fine. So we ordered and got to know each other. Christopher has red hair and was about 5'10 and 180 pounds. he looked really hot. But I thought he was totally straight. We talked for what seemed like for hours. Then my cell rang, it was Eric wondering when I was coming home. I told him what I told him earlier that day and that we were though. He got mad and hung up on me. Christopher just asked who that was I said with out thinking Eric. He said your gay. I thought oh great now he isn't going to like me. I said yes. He said he was too and that he was just getting out of a relationship him self. I was totally suprised. But all good thing must come to an end and I was still hurting so I took Christopher home then I gave him my cell number. then I went home and took some pain killers and went to bed.
I woke up the next morning and took a shower. then I got some eggs and bacon. then I got on the Internet and went searching for a house in Denver, Colorado. I was unsure where our new work account was but I figured start early. I found a nice 4 bedroom house to rent. It had two master bedrooms with bathrooms off of them. All hardwood floors. I thought it was perfect for me. So I looked up the price a month and it was only $1000.00. So I called on it and it was still vacant. So I sent her a check for $4,000.00 to cover the deposit and three months rent so she would hold it for me.
Then I decided to do some day trading. The market was only half gone today. I bought 300 shares of maxtor for $17.00 a share. Then I set up to sell half of it at $40.00 a share.
An hour before the market closed it sold for $40.00 per a share. I thought about it for a min and I just made $3,450.00 not bad for a days work. then I decided to watch some TV. I was just getting into a movie when my cell rang. It was Johns From the office. He said the new account pay $25.00 per hour. And they wanted us a.s.a.p. I told him I was almost ready to go. I asked him where in Denver was it and he told me it was in wheatridge. I looked on the map and it was 10 miles from my new house. Johns let me go and asked if I could call Christopher about all the details because he was very busy.
I told him that I would. Then he gave me Christopher's number.
I just hung up the phone and Christopher called me and said his ex was causing him trouble. Could I come pick him up and I agreed. I went to go pick him up and we went out for lunch. I told him what Johns form the office said. He was all worried. Because he didn't find a place to live yet. He didn't know how he was going to get there.
I told him I rented a house down there today and I would drive down this weekend. I told him he could come along. He thought it was a great idea. I guess his ex took over there apartment and he didn't know what he was going to do. I told him to come and stay with me. I told him I would take him back so he could get his car and clothes. He said he didn't have a car. We went down to get his clothes and personal things and I set him up in one of the spare bed rooms for now.
Christopher went in to take a shower to get cleaned up while I was making us dinner. He yelled for me and I asked what he needed and he wanted a towel. So I went a got him on and took it into him. He had a nice body from what I could see.
I told Christopher that dinner was about done. I grabbed a bottle of wine to server with dinner. I called the doctor's office and made an appoment to get my cast off tomorrow. Christopher and I had a nice dinner and we finished off two bottles of wine before we called it a night.
The next day which was Friday I went to get my cast off. Christopher tagged along with me. Then after the doctors we went to lunch. Then we went home to pack for our trip. We leave tomorrow at 3:00 am.
