Josh and Just 56
JC sat at his desk with a couple of sheets of music in front of him. He reclined as much as he could and tried to hum out the tune of the song just by looking at the sheet music. In his lap sat a small black and white kitten who napped, softly letting out a minute sigh with each breathe. JC let out a small sigh himself and looked a stack of pictures on the desk. He picked up the first one and smiled to himself at the sight of Justin dressed as James Dean for Halloween. He looked at the little boy in his arms who was dressed as a fluffy pumpkin. JC put the picture down before picking up the stack. He continued to smile with the next picture which was of his daughter who was a Sunflower. He changed the picture so that the new one showed himself and Justin. Justin in his tight white T-shirt and blue jeans, was sitting atop of JC's lap who was dressed as Sleepy Dwarf from Snow White. JC let out another sigh and placed down the stack of pictures. He gently took up the snoozing kitten in his arm and rose from his seat. He made his way out of the room into the living room where he saw Justin napping on the couch. Justin lay on his back with a black sleeveless shirt and a pair of track pants. He lifted his arm up and covered his eyes from the sunlight. His shirt lifted up slightly revealing his taut stomach and abs. JC made his way to the front of the couch where he took a seat. He mildly began to spread a series of kisses over Justin's other arm, which lay haphazardly at his side. Justin shifted a bit, but never awoke from the soft touch. JC snickered and rose to his feet. He placed one more kiss on Justin's cheek before carrying the kitten to the small pillow bed they had set up for him. JC made his way to the kitchen only to return back to the living room with a bag of pretzels and a small bottle of Coke. He took a seat on the floor in front of the couch and turned on the TV with the remote. JC placed the food on the table in front of him while turning the volume down, being sure not to disturb Justin's nap. He opened the bag of pretzels and took out a handful while he changed the channels with the remote. He soon landed on a channel that was playing Pretty Woman. He sat and watched, leaning back against the front of the couch. He heard and felt Justin shift but soon heard the steady sound of his rhythmic breathing. JC closed his own eyes as he felt five fingers rake through his hair lightly. He tilted his head back to see Justin's eyes still closed yet his hand vacillating through his hair. JC took a couple of pretzels into his mouth and smiled at the Julia Roberts' line. JC looked to his left when he heard the soft patter of feet. He wasn't surprised when he saw Leo and Hunter. Hunter lay down next to Oreo's bed while Leo laid down and placed his head in JC's lap.
"I love you." Justin whispered.
"I love you more." JC responded. He looked back and noticed that Justin was staring at him with a small love struck smile.
"What?" JC asked with a wry smile.
"You know what I like most about you?" Justin asked closed to silently.
"What?" JC whispered back.
"Your neck. It has to be the most beautiful neck I've ever seen." Justin said brushing his finger tips over the skin of the neck.
"Well I love all of you." JC said with a simple smile.
"And you know what I love even more about you?" Justin questioned.
"Hmmm?" JC asked minutely.
"Your chest." Justin said equally as soft.
"The part of the body that I like about you is. . ." JC said raising his eyebrow suggestively. Justin immediately broke into a snicker, slipping his tongue between his teeth and gently biting down on it.
"When you first met me, what did you think about me?" JC asked, reveling in the touch of Justin's fingers stroking his hair.
"Honestly?" Justin asked.
"Yeah." JC said with a nod.
"when I first met you, I remember thinking `He's cuuuuuute and I bet he has a nice ass' which later I found out that statement is true. Do you remember how I dropped my bottle of water and it kinda rolled away, and you bent down to pick it up?" Justin inquired.
"Yeah. . ." JC said catching on to where the conversation was going.
"Well I did that on purpose to check out your butt. And I remember you had just come back from shooting a beach scene and you had on this tight wetsuit on and you had on these sexy surfing shorts." Justin responded. JC blushed at the moment causing his rosy cheeks to accent his smile even more.
"You were such a horn ball back then." JC chuckled.
"Hey! Hey! Okay, `Mr. I'm-so-cool' what did you think of me when you first saw me?" Justin asked, tapping him on the head.
"Truthfully?" JC questioned, giving Justin a inquisitive glance.
"No. I want you to lie to me. . . Of course truthfully." Justin responded with a snigger. He gave JC his full attention while JC looked back at him with a meek smile.
"I thought you were. . . short." JC said with an intake of breath before saying the last word.
"What?!" Justin asked retracting his hand from JC's hair in surprise and laughter.
"No. No. No. Wait!" JC said trying to reach for Justin's hand once again. Justin kept his hand away giving JC a you-better-explain look. JC rose from the floor causing Leo to stand as well. JC took a seat on the edge of the sofa and reached for Justin's hand once again. Justin reluctantly gave it to him.
"Justin, you have to remember that you were like eleven. I mean you have to admit that you were short compared to the other guys. And I mean you should feel special that I even remember what I first thought, I mean I don't remember what I thought when I met Joey or Lance." JC said quickly, rubbing Justin's hand.
"I find that hard to believe. . . we all know what we thought when we met Lance." Justin said. JC and Justin gave each other a knowing look and nodded.
"Albino." Justin and JC said together before bursting into laughter.
"Fine. I don't hate you. . . that much." Justin responded.
"Oh come on! There has to be one flaw you saw in me back then that I had." JC retorted. Justin gave JC a thoughtful look.
"Okay there might be one." Justin said ducking his head.
"Which would be?" JC urged.
"Well when I first met you, the flaw I noticed was that. . .that you were perfect." Justin said, gazing lovingly into JC's eyes. JC gave him a equally loving smile.
"You are too much." JC said laying down behind Justin. Both of them spooned together while JC's arm was wrapped over Justin's waist. Justin pressed his back into JC's chest as he reveled in JC's touch. The warmth of JC encompassed him while the smell of JC's signature fragrance wafted over the two. JC brushed his faced against Justin's neck causing Justin to giggle at the touch of the bristles from JC's goatee, brushing against the sensitive skin. Justin closed his eyes and marveled in the love her felt at that moment.
"Hello?" Came a soft voice from the doorway.
"In here Hana!" JC announced. Hana walked into the living room carrying Ben while Amy followed in the arms of Cole. Cole placed the girl down on the floor near the table. Hana took a seat in the recliner and placed Ben in her lap.
"How was your day with the kids?" Justin asked, still not rising from his comfortable spot.
"It was fun." Christina said walking into the room. She took a seat on the couch with Cole and flipped through a magazine. Justin watched as Cole stared at Christina longingly as she in return just causally flipped through her magazine while having an anticipating look on her face. Justin shook his head in whim and looked down at his daughter who used the table to stand on her feet.
"Hey!!! Good girl!" Justin exclaimed when seeing his daughter stand on her own for the first time.
"Ben can stand up but he ends up falling down again." Hana said, running a hand over the boys head.
"Sweet Pea. Come here." JC said over Justin's shoulder. JC hid behind Justin and secretly spied his daughter's reaction to his voice. Amy looked up and around the room, only seeing her Daddy.
"Amy!" Came the voice again. Amy took a step before falling down.
"Amers, Come here." JC said again, still in his hiding place. Amy stood up along side of the table and attempted to take a step in the direction of the voice but fell once again. A loud thud sounded through the room causing JC to pop up and cast a glance towards his daughter. Amy's head had fell against the glass sheet atop the table stand. Amy opened her mouth to let out a cry only to utter complete silence. Her mouth quivered and her eyes squinted downwards. As if an on switch was pushed, the cry burst into the room.
"Oh Princess." JC said as he reluctantly lifted himself away from Justin, making his way to his daughter's side. JC took a seat on the floor in front of Justin and scooped his daughter up. He gently placed the girl onto his shoulder and rubbed her back soothingly. Justin moved his hand outward and gently placed it on JC's head and started to gently move his fingers around. JC tilted his head back and cast an upside down glance towards Justin. Amy continued to cry softly as her lips pouted down causing a protruding pout.
"So what are you two doing tonight?" Christina asked, JC and Justin.
"Not much just staying in." Justin said.
"That's nice, So Cole what are you doing tonight?" Christina asked a little too quickly.
"Not much, just sitting around, maybe hang out with Justin and JC, or something." Cole said. Christina cast a glance towards the couple giving them an urgent look, seeming to signal them with their eyes. Justin cast her a questioning glance and shrugged, she in turn gave them the same urgent glare.
"Uhm, okay Cole. . ." JC started, Christina cast him the same glare now. "I mean oh I forgot that we are taking the kids to go visit their. . ." JC struggled.
"Grandparents." Justin added quickly.
"That's it, Grandparents. Justin's mom and dad. So. . .yeah." JC said, casting an awkward glance toward Justin.
"Oh. . .Okay then, I guess I'm free." Cole shrugged.
"Do you feel like going to the movies?" Christina asked.
"Sure, Why not?" Cole said happily.
"That sounds like fun. I'll come too." Hana added. Christina quickly snapped her head in Han's direction and gave her the same imminent glare she gave JC and Justin.
"I mean. . .I have to. . .to. . ." Hana struggled.
"Watch the kids with us." Justin filled in immediately.
"Yeah! I have to watch the kids with us. . .I mean them." Hana responded.
"Oh okay, Then I guess it's just you and me Christina." Cole said, falling back against the couch.
"Yeah I guess so." Christina said with a sweet smile. Justin rolled his eyes and looked back at Amy who had quieted down to the stage before slumber.
Justin laid back on the bed with his upper back propped up by some pillows. He stared at the large screened TV and smiled along with jokes of the show. He lazily let his arm drift over to the bowl of strawberries sitting next to him, scooped one up, and brought a ripe ruddy fruit to his mouth. He took a generous bite and chewed it in a bovine fashion. He cracked a smile as the audience of the show burst into laughter.
"Meow!" Justin pulled his attention away from the TV hesitantly only to divert it towards the small cat that stood clawing at the skirt of the bed. Justin rolled his eyes and focused his attention towards the TV once again.
"Meow" Justin let out a huff and leaned over the bed to see the kitten's face looking up at him.
"What?!" Justin exasperated.
"Meow." Came another soft cry. Justin rolled his eyes at the sound and leaned back on the bed. He placed his strawberry down before moving towards the edge once again. he slipped his hand around the cat and brought him on top of the bed.
"Here you whiny runt. But this doesn't mean I like you." Justin said putting him down on the bed. The kitten ran around the bed happily toying with Justin's sock-covered foot with his small paws.
"Stop!" Justin shouted at the small cat.
"Justin! You're yelling at a little cat!" JC said barely able to control his laughter.
"I told you I hate cats, and now this little. . . thing is using my foot as his own personal entertainment." Justin said pulling his feet away from the cat.
"Come here Oreo, don't mind him. He's just jealous cause I love you more." JC said to the little kitten.
"Fine! You and him can sleep on the futon together tonight." Justin said picking up another strawberry. JC put the kitten on the futon and made his way back to the bed.
"Why don't we let the kitten have the bed and we'll share the floor in front of the fireplace. . . buck naked." JC said seductively.
"Hmmm. . . sounds like fun, are you sure you don't want to spend the night with you beloved Oreo?" Justin asked, still staring at the TV with a smile across his lips.
"You are more sweeter than Oreo." JC said laying on the bed next to Justin. Justin leaned in to the presence of JC's body. He titled his head back and looked at the face of his husband.
"You know you really should shave that pinstripe off your chin. I mean is unbelievably unappealing." Justin said taking JC's hand in his own.
"You never complained before." JC stated.
"Yes I did!!!" Justin responded with a chuckle.
"Okay maybe you did." JC admitted with a bashful expression.
"Hey Indy, did you close the gate at the top of the stairs? The kids are crawling all over the floor." Justin said, gazing at JC.
"Yeah, I put the kids in their room and wanna see if they know how to get to our room." JC said.
"Do you think they can make if over?" Justin asked.
"Yeah I put a trail of toys along the way." JC snickered.
"You have to be the best father any kid could have." Justin smiled.
"Nope, that would have to be you." JC replied.
"Ladi doo dadi bi." Came a small voice from the doorway. Both parents looked over to see Ben and Amy on the floor looking up at them. Hana stood behind them and watched over them with a smile. Justin moved to the side of the bed where he let his arms hang over coaxing his children to come over. Amy smiled to herself and started to crawl quickly leaving her brother to sit there in question. Ben soon followed his sister. Justin scooped up Amy and picked her up onto the bed. He soon heard a whine from the floor. Ben looked up with a small scowl written over his face. Justin leaned over once again and scooped his son up.
"Brat." Justin said before pressing a kiss to the boy's face.
"Justin your mom called, she told me to tell you this." Hana said as she handed Justin a small piece of paper. Justin read the paper before smiling.
"What?" JC asked.
"My uncle, aunt, and cousin came to my mom's house and they want to see us. So they are going to head over later on tonight after dinner." Justin relayed.
"After dinner? Okay that's cool." JC responded.
"Yeah, why what do you have planned for dinner?" Justin questioned.
"I was thinking that I would give Hana the night off, and make a nice quiet dinner for us and the kids tonight. You up for it?" JC asked.
"Actually my mom says she wants to take the kids for dinner. So it'll be just us." Justin said with a small smile.
"Okay that sounds cool. Then a nice quiet romantic dinner. Just the two of us." JC said softly, leaning closer to Justin.
"With candles." Justin whispered, moving closer himself
"And wine." JC added, leaning closer.
"And soft music." Justin added making his way even closer to JC's face
"Just the two us." JC said as he leaned in and pressed a soft kiss on Justin's lips. They felt a small hand press against their lips. Both turned and looked at their son as he had a giant grin on his face while using their bodies as support to stand on his own feet.
"You little munchkin!" JC said tickling the boy, causing him to fall back onto the bed.
"Yes, we are definitely having a nice romantic night tonight." Justin said with a sigh.
"So Cole. Tell me more about yourself. I mean I know you are a pediatrician, and I know you were a model. But who else are you?" Christina asked, folding her arms over her chest. She wore a black short sleeved shirt that had a well cut cleavage line while her white jeans hugged her hips tightly. Cole noticed the small gesture and took off his lined jacket and slipped it around Christina's small frame.
"Thanks." Christina said with a small smile. He tucked her multicolored braids back looked up at Cole.
"Well I guess that's it. After high school I studied and studied and studied until I got out of med school. And well cash got low and the only way to generate money was to model. I want to an audition, got the part and well after I got enough money, finished med school and did some of my residency. And the rest is as we say history." Cole said. Christina just stared at him in fascination.
"Hey guys! I didn't know you were gonna see a movie here tonight?" Britney said as she walked up to them. Christina fell out of her reverie and glanced towards Britney who was in the arms of Lance.
"Yeah." Christina, diverting her attention back to Cole.
"So what movie are you guys seeing?" Lance asked.
"The new John Travolta flick. You?" Cole asked.
"Same one." Britney said happily. The two couples moved forward in the line
"So, Wow, Britney isn't that your friend back there?" Christina asked as she pointed her head back. She gave Britney an intense look which Britney missed while looking back in the direction she pointed in.
"Nope. Never met her before." Britney said turning back. Christina let out a sigh and walked forward in the line again.
"Welcome back to TRL. I'm of course Carson Daly and today N Sync has taken over our studio. So welcome the boys, Justin, Lance, Chris, JC, and Joey." Carson introduced. The five guys walked out into the ecstatic crowd, Justin and Lance walked out together, casually conversing, while JC, Joey, and Chris walked out behind them. Both Justin and Lance ran to the window and waved at the fans below on the streets of New York.
"Hello guys. Have a seat." Carson suggested.
"Wassup Carson?" Justin said as he took a seat. Chris took a seat next to him while JC, Lance, Joey took a seat on the stools behind them. JC leaned forward a bit and whispered something to Justin. Justin turned to face him and gave him a small nod before whispering something back.
"Hey Lovebirds, are you done whispering?" Carson asked. Justin turned around as if he was caught cheating in class and gave a bashful look.
"Sorry." They both replied simultaneously.
"We have to deal with that everyday!" Chris sounded.
"Hey now! I haven't even been next to JC since this morning!" Justin stated.
"Very true." Joey nodded.
"Well that's unbelievable, So how is everything?" Carson asked.
"Everything is going good. And you?" Lance asked.
"Great. So now I gave Joey and assignment. I told him to document your morning on a digital camera. And we have your pictures here for us today. Here is the first one." Carson said. The first one is of JC and Justin snoozing in the middle seats of a van. Their heads were propped up against one another's while their eyes were closed in slumber. Sitting in their laps were two awake babies. There was a coo in the audience. The next picture was of Lance who had a phone pressed to his ear while he looked down at some papers in his lap.
"Lance is always the worker." JC mentioned. The next picture was of Chris trying to feed Amy, her face distorted in repulsion. The laugh spread through the audience.
"Hey! She wasn't hungry! It's not my fault." Chris sounded. The next picture was of Chris who was laying on the seats of the car while he clutched a teddy bear tightly.
"Aww how cute. Now you guys are seriously wiped out, not only have you been on your break, but you've been doing promotional stuff for each of your things. I know that Chris and JC had a charity benefit a while ago. And I think that Justin just did an appearance for his foundation. You guys are seriously working over time on these projects." Carson claimed.
"We are, I mean we get bored and miss one another when we are on break. I mean if we have a free day I will find myself talking to Justin and JC from ten to eleven. Lance from eleven to twelve, and Chris from twelve to one. It's like talking to your brother when you're bored. So we all have these little private things going on to keep us busy and not be bored." Joey said.
"And the problem turns out to be the opposite. We do it to not be bored, but we end up becoming consumed by it. So I'll spend late hours at the studio and be working but by the time I get home Ben and Amy are in bed, and Justin about to fall asleep. Chris will stay late hours working with designers and publicists for his clothing line. Joey is just everywhere doing all our interviews for us. Lance is busy making movies with Joey and running his own management firm. And after a day like that I need to get Lance on the phone and talk for at least ten minutes." JC said.
"Now how does all this work effect your relationships?" Carson asked.
"Justin gets mad at me!" JC said. Justin just smiled and nodded.
"Hey it sucks when we've made plans to do something by ourselves or with the guys and they get put on hold because JC is still at the studio." Justin shrugged.
"My relationship is fine. Though I do not get to see my girlfriend as much as I would like to." Chris said with a small smile.
"Britney and I rarely see each other but we are heavily relying on our telephones." Lance responded.
"It's hard on every relationship including families." Joey said.
"Well thank you N Sync. We will be right back after this commercial break with O-Town." Carson said.
"And we're out!" Said the producer.
"Thanks guys for coming." Carson said as a person checked his microphone.
"No problem. Are we free?" JC asked.
"Actually you are going to come back on after the segment with O-Town so why don't you hang out in the back room." Carson suggested. JC took Justin's hand and followed the rest of the guys into the green room where O-Town were making preparations to head onto the stage. Dan, Erik, Jacob, Trevor, and Ashley were heading toward the door while Lance, Joey, and Chris filed into the room. The guys heard the guys of O-Town snicker amongst themselves which stopped when they saw Justin and JC walking hand-in- hand into the green room.
"Well it isn't the princesses of pop." Trevor cracked, there were a couple of laughs within the group while Justin and JC rolled their eyes and walked toward the couch where the rest of N Sync sat.
"Hey don't heckle them too much, the pretty boys might cry." Jacob added.
"Oh you assholes are asking for it." Joey said as he stood up in anger. Justin grabbed his arm and pulled him down back into his seat.
"Watch out JC, I heard that husband of yours sleeps around. He's been banging Britney, Christina, Jessica, and Willa right under your nose." Dan snickered.
"You won't be laughing when I fucking punch your nose into your brain." JC said as he stood up and attempted to rush at the guys.
"Hey you guys! Cut it out, We have to get on the set." Ashley said as he attempted to push all the guys out of the room.
"that's why I hate them!" Lance sighed as they left the room.
"Why did you stop me Justin?" Joey asked. Justin smiled at Joey with the little glint in his eyes.
"What did you do?" Joey asked. Justin just shrugged.
"What did you do Justin?" Chris asked.
"I think it'll be funny to see those rude assholes asking for Ashley's wallet when they notice it is missing." Justin snickered. There was a small knock on the door. All five looked up to see Ashley.
"Hi you guys, I just wanted to apologize for the guys' behavior. They can be a little excessive at times." Ashley apologized.
"It's alright." Justin shrugged.
"No it really isn't. I think you guys are awesome to be honest about something society considers so taboo." Ashley said genuinely.
"Thanks. We appreciate it." JC nodded, really paying attention.
"Ashley come on!" Someone yelled.
"I got to go." Ashley said attempting to leave.
"Ashley!" Justin called. Ashley turned around and was instantly hit by a black leather wallet. He caught it before it fell to the floor and viewed it with recognition. He looked up at Justin.
"You have a cute Driver's license picture." Justin chuckled.
"Thanks. . ." Ashley began.
"Ashley!" Four distinct voices rang. He jumped and roan toward them.
"He is cuuuuute." Justin stated. Justin looked back at JC who was viewing him with a disapproving look.
"Hey you would be cute too if you shaved that thing off your chin." Justin snickered. JC cracked a smile and rolled his eyes.
"Sweetheart, Can you get me that blanket?" JC asked as he held a sleeping Ben to his chest. He rested the boys shoulder on his shoulder and struggled to reach for a blanket. Justin grabbed the blanket and lightly wrapped it around his son.
"Thank you." JC said stepping out of the van. Justin followed with Amy who clutched onto Justin's jacket while the blanket covered everything but her face. The cold air hit Justin's face suddenly causing him to wince. He took JC's gloved hand and walked toward the door of the house that JC had many memories in. parked in front, Justin could see two rentals cars, Tyler's car, and Tim's car.
"I guess we're the last ones." JC said, causing a billow of cold breath to escape his mouth and drift into the air.
"Josh, Could you take the diaper bag?" Justin asked. JC nodded and scooped up the bag before taking Justin's hand again. The driver rushed to get the bags to the front door in the cold cloudy sky.
"Thank you." JC said appreciatively as he made it to the front door with all of their bags. The driver rushed to get back into the warm van. Justin rang the door bell and waited patiently, hearing voices inside. Tyler swung the door open with a smile.
"Hey!!! Come on in your guys!" Tyler said moving aside. They stepped into the warm house while Tyler moved their bags into the foyer and closed the door.
"I missed you guys!" Tyler said giving his brother a hug.
"I missed you too Ty." JC said still holding Ben who rested his weary head on his father's shoulder.
"Ben Why don't you go with your Uncle Ty. Okay?" JC asked as he peeled the boy off of himself and handed him to Tyler. Tyler gladly took the boy and carried him around the house. Tyler took the boy into the kitchen where Lisa, Karen, and Lynn leaned against the counters while conversing.
"Hello Ladies." Tyler said bringing the baby into the kitchen. They all cooed causing Ben to eye them suspiciously.
"Oh there is my big grandson!" Lynn said giving the boy a little tickle. Ben shied away and buried his face into Tyler's shoulder.
"Justin! Why doesn't your son like me?" Lynn questioned.
"He just woke up Mom." JC said walking into the room, removed of his heavy jacket.
"Poor kid." Lisa said running a hand over his head. JC gave all three women a hug and stood by Karen. He gave her a small kiss on the cheek.
"How are all my mothers doing?" JC asked.
"They are fine. How are the proud fathers doing?" Karen asked looking up at her son.
"Tired." JC said with a sigh.
"Babies keeping you up?" Lynn asked.
"No, schedules have been keeping me up." JC retorted. Tyler left the kitchen with the babies and made his way into the living room where Roy and Randall sat with Tim and Matt, Tyler's friend, while watching a sitcom on television.
"Here are your grandpas, and your Uncle Tim. And that can be your Uncle Matt." Tyler said to Ben who lifted his head to view them, but rested his head on Tyler's shoulder once again.
"How's my grandson doing?" Roy asked as he stood and walked over to Tyler. Ben saw him and gave a small pout while continuing to rest his head on Tyler's shoulder.
"Come on Buddy Boy, let's go visit your other uncles." Tyler said, navigating his nephew through the hallway to the den where Jonathan and Steven sat watching TV, Laura sat reading, and Heather was looking around the desk.
"Here you go Benny Boy, Your Uncle Jonathan, Uncle Steven, and Aunt Laura. Oh that waste of space over there is Aunt Heather." Tyler said plainly.
"Oh! Josh and Justin are here!" Laura said hopping up and running up to Ben and placed a small kiss on his hand before rushing out.
"I'm huuuuungry!" Justin called through the house. Tyler let the kids watch their TV bad went back into the kitchen where Justin and JC stood next to one another.
"Pizza is on it's way. Us ladies don't want to cook anything tonight, since we'll be cooking all day tomorrow." Karen stated.
"Fine by me! I'm craving Pizza." JC said.
"You are always craving everything." Justin said rolling his eyes at JC. JC leaned in and placed a kiss on Justin's cheek.
"Not true. I'm not caving you right now." JC said smugly. Justin smacked him in the stomach causing him to groan.
"Now are you?" Justin asked with a smirk.
"If I say yes, will you not hit me?" JC questioned.
"But of course." Justin responded.
"Than yes." JC replied.
"Victory." Justin smiled
"Mom! Do you see how he beats me?" JC stated.
"Oh hush up!" Karen responded.
"So what kind of pizza did we get?" Justin asked.
"Cheese, Pepperoni, and Vegetarian." Lisa responded. Justin nodded and looked inside the fridge.
"Mom! You got my favorite desert!!!" Justin said happily seeing a tray along side the refrigerator. Karen smiled at her son-in-law.
"Yeah, your grandmother gave me the recipe for her peach cobbler." Karen responded.
"You know that's how Josh proposed to me. We had a candle light dinner, and then for desert we had a peach cobbler, but on top of mine was a nice ring." Justin said showing off his band, as he slipped the necklace out of his shirt.
"Sweet!" Lynn said tossing a glance over to JC. JC shrugged in modesty and stared at Justin while he received a loving glance back from him.
"Which one of you wants to take your fussy child?" Tyler questioned.
"I will." Justin and JC both said. Tyler walked up to Justin and stood by him for a second. Ben caught sight of his father and reached out to him. Justin gladly took him.
"Where is my niece?" Tyler asked.
"She is in bed. She hasn't slept all day. So she's asleep." Justin responded.
"Hey Mom, do we have cribs for these kids or are they sleeping with me and Just in the bed?" JC asked as he reached back and plucked a grape from a cluster on a plate near by.
"Yes, your father brought down Tyler's old baby crib and it should be big enough to fit them both." Karen responded.
"Okay. Just checking." JC snickered.
The fire was lit and everyone sat around it conversing with one another. Lynn and Paul cuddled on the couch which seated Randall and Lisa as well. Karen and Roy sat on the two-seater with Steven snoozing in Karen's lap. Laura sat on the floor putting together a puzzle with Tyler while Matt sat in the alcove watching over them. Tim held Heather by the fireside while watching over Jonathan who laid on the floor in front of them. Finally JC lay in the reclined recliner with Justin snuggled up under JC's chin. Ben and Amy snoozed lightly in the other room. That all changed with the soft cry of Amy who in turn woke up her brother.
"We'll go get them!" Tyler said as both himself and Amy ran to get the kids. They soon emerged with two disheveled kids whimpering softly. Amy caught sight of her fathers and nearly fell out of Tyler's grasp trying to reach for her fathers. JC took her and lay her down on his chest, gently patting her back soothingly. Ben caught sight of Tyler and reached out for him. He took the by into his arms and instantly lay his head down on the shoulder. Ben whimpered softly while Tyler rocked him up and down.
"So Matt isn't you boyfriend supposed to come?" Heather asked.
"Yeah he is. Hopefully he gets here before the rain begins to fall." Matt said, looking out the window. With a sudden crack, the rain began to fall hitting the cold earth below.
"Do you think It'll snow anytime soon?" Laura asked.
"No sweetheart, it won't snow until early December." Roy said. She sighed and sat back down to work on her puzzle.
"Well kids, I'm going to head to bed. Goodnight everyone." Lynn said as she rose from the sofa. She leaned over and kissed Justin on the cheek as well as JC. Paul wasn't too far behind as she left the room to head upstairs.
"Hey Mom, What are the sleeping arrangements?" JC asked.
"Well Justin and you can take your room, As well as the kids. Heather and Laura will be in Heather's room. Tyler and Tim will sleep in Tyler's room, Matt and Wade can sleep in the den on the sofa bed. . Lynn, Paul, Randall, and Lisa are taking the master bedroom with the two rollaway beds while your father and I take the guest bedroom. Jonathan and Steven will sleep with Lisa and Randall. " Karen said.
"Okay well why don't Heather and Tim take Heather's room, Laura can take Tyler's room, she can take that room with the cribs and Tyler can crash with us?" JC questioned.
"Because Heather and Tim are not married yet." Karen replied.
"Oh Mom! They share an apartment, Do you think they sleep in two different rooms?" JC asked, rolling his eye.
"Joshua! They are not going to share a room together alone." Karen responded.
"Okay here we go, Heather and Tim share the room with me and Justin, Tyler and Laura crash in Tyler's room with the babies." JC suggested.
"Whatever. You handle this, just no one sleeps together unless they are married or related." Roy said standing up and reaching out for Karen. Karen took his hand and walked off to their bedroom. I guess that is our cue. Lisa said standing and taking Steven from Karen on their way our. Randall took it as a cue to pick up Jonathan who was still in front of Heather and Tim. Heather took a seat on the two-seater and took Tim's hand when he sat down.
" How about this. Why does Tim just stay with Tyler and Laura stay with Heather?" JC stated.
"Sweetheart, your mom stated that before you decided to play musical chairs with people." Justin responded softly.
"No! . . . okay maybe. But still." JC replied. Justin snickered and leaned up to place a small peck on JC's chin. He then leaned down and placed a small kiss on Amy's head. The girl was now smiling softly as she looked at her father. Justin ran a hand over her head and let out a sigh.
"Oh my god!" Matt called from the alcove.
"What?" Justin questioned.
"That's Wade!" Matt called. He hopped up and ran to the door. He threw the door open only to fall into the waiting arms of Wade. Wade spun him around before moving him down so that his feet touched the floor again.
"That was too cheesy to be real." Justin snickered. Wade pressed a kiss onto Matt's lips before stepping inside out of the drizzle that fell to the earth.
"Hey everyone!" Wade said happily. He closed the door and shed his coat before following Matt to the alcove.
"Hey Wade." JC said softly.
"Hey guys. Hello Heather, Hi Tim." Wade said taking a seat with him.
"Well we'll leave you two to get acquainted with one another again. Come on Josh. Let's put the kids to bed again." Justin said peeling himself from JC. He stood up and made his way to where Tyler bounced up and down with Ben. He gently took the boy who gladly went to his father. The fire continued to spread light into the room over the two remaining couples and two singles.
JC snoozed on his side with one arm buried under the pillow he rest on, while the other was holding Justin closely to him. Justin was nestled into JC's body, burying his nose in the nook of JC's neck. Both bare chested men slept soundly in their bed while their children snoozed in a crib nearby. JC let out a slight snore while Justin wrapped his arms tighter around JC's waist. A small creak of the door caused no shift within the room. Neither did the slight weight that was on the edge of the bed. It wasn't until JC was shaken, that Justin woke up. Just lifted his eyes to the figure of his brother-in-law. Leaning on the bed.
"Hey Tyler." Justin said tiredly, rubbing his eyes. He tried to move back a little bit, but JC's grip only tightened around him, keeping him close.
"Hey Justin. Can I crash here?" Tyler asked.
"Yeah sure, Why is Tim freaky or something?" Justin asked as he watched Tyler take a blanket from the closet and a pillow from the end of the bed to sleep on the floor.
"Why don't you crash in the bed. Josh and I can spoon and you can sleep on this edge. Justin said as he gently pushed JC. JC's eyes fluttered awake causing him to let out an uncontrollable yawn.
"Josh move to the edge could you?" Justin asked. JC moved back to the edge of the bed and watched as Justin backed up against him. JC wrapped his arm around Justin's waist while placing his cheek next to Justin's. Justin and JC both faced Tyler who crawled into the bed.
"So what is wrong with him?" Justin asked.
"First thing is that he talks a lot about boring things. I mean I bet he's just trying to get to know me, but talking about stocks is not a way to get to know me." Tyler said.
"And then?" JC asked.
"He snores! Loudly! I mean how can Heather stand it?" Tyler asked.
"Heather's a deep sleeper. Just like Josh." Justin replied.
"That gene must have skipped over me." Tyler snickered.
"Will you two finish up your conversation so I can get to bed." JC said hastily.
"Go to bed then. My brother-in-law and I are having a well deserved talk." Justin replied. JC kissed Justin's bare shoulder and closed his eyes.
"I love you too." JC responded. Justin rolled his eyes and gazed over to Tyler.
"So what do you think of him? I still think he is some psycho or something. Justin said as he felt JC's arms tighten around his waist. He dropped an arm over JC's and gently brushed it.
"He seems normal and I think Matt thinks he's cute." Tyler responded.
"So do you got your eye on someone?" Justin asked.
"I'm still looking." Tyler stated.
"Why don't you come over for your winter break, we're doing a whole bunch of photoshoots and stuff but other than that we are all yours, we'll hook you up with a girl?" Justin suggested.
"Uhm maybe I'll come visit. But I can get my own girls thank you very much." Tyler sighed.
"Oh we have some dance practices but other than that I think we're fine." Justin added.
"And we have our Anniversary shindig." JC added himself.
"Are you asleep or listening to our conversation?" Justin asked.
"Both." JC responded without opening his eyes.
"Go to bed!" Justin snickered.
"You first!" JC replied opening his eyes to see his brother shaking his head with a grin.
"Fine we'll continue this conversation in the morning Tyler. Goodnight. Justin said leaning back into JC who let out a small yawn.
"I love you." JC whispered.
"I love you too." Justin replied equally as soft.
JC rubbed his eyes at the morning light the shone through the part in the curtains to drift onto his half naked form. He let out a lazy yawn while he scratched a small itch on his chest. He lifted himself to a sitting position, gazing around idly at the familiar room. He fell back onto the bed again and rubbed his eyes. Slowly, JC rose from his bed noting that he was the only person in the room. He tossed a gaze into his children's crib and noticed their absence. He scooped up Justin's robe nearby and slipped it on. As he stepped into the hallway he heard many voices downstairs laughing and conversing with one another. He walked down the stairs and into the living room where he saw Justin laying on the floor face to face with Ben who was crawling happily. Amy was standing with the aide of the sofa, watching her father and brother. She reached out longingly and looked around at everyone else in the room. Tyler lay on the couch with Steven who was fumbling with a book.
"Good Morning." JC announced.
"Good Afternoon." Justin responded, looking up at his husband.
"Oops, I slept in longer than I thought." JC said running his fingers through his wild hair.
"You need a haircut." Karen said coming into the room, an apron wrapped around her waist and flour smeared across her cheek.
"Not a haircut, but to shave that little sliver that's on his chin." Justin said casting a gaze toward JC.
"Well too bad." JC responded.
"Hello all! We're back." Heather announced as she walked in with Tim, Matt, Wade, and Laura.
"Yay." Tyler said dully.
"Tyler!" Karen warned.
"Sorry Mom." Tyler replied lowly.
"Hey look at Amy standing there. She looks like she's about ready to walk." Heather noticed. With that Amy let out a frown and started to walk toward Justin who was playing with Ben. Everyone gasped and smiled at Amy's first steps. Justin looked up and caught of Amy's steps just in time to see her fall back onto her butt.
"Sweetheart! Did you see that?" JC asked as he ran over to her and scooped her up into his arms. Amy smiled happily, now that she was in the arms of her father.
"That's my Princess." Justin said, looking up. He looked back at Ben who had crawled up his. Ben's hand reached out for Justin's glasses which Justin quickly y took off. Ben's happy expression turned to a confused one, noticing the absence of the glasses.
"Josh are you going to go take a shower?" Justin asked.
"Yeah, Why?" JC asked in return.
"Do you want to take these two for a bath with you instead?" Justin asked.
"Yeah sure." JC nodded, taking a seat on the couch. Steven smiled happily and made his way to JC's lap.
"Hey Stevey." JC smiled.
"Hello." Steven responded.
"How are you Buddy?" JC asked, looking down at his brother-in-law.
"Fine." Steven said with a shy smile.
"Did you see your niece and nephew?" JC asked.
"Yeah." Steven said nodding.
"Jaycee!!!" Jonathan yelled as he hopped onto his lap as well. Steven let out a flinch before feeling Jonathan's weight on top of him. He let out a cry and slowly fell off of JC's lap only to sit whimpering beside him.
"Jonathan! Look what you did to your brother." JC said. Jonathan cast a worried glance toward Steven who sat reclusive in the corner between JC and the back of the couch.
"Sorry." Jonathan said guiltily.
" Stevey you okay?" JC asked. Steven nodded wiped his eyes with the back of his hand.
"Come here Steven. Why don't you read me that story." Tyler suggested. Steven crawled over to Tyler and took up the book once again. Steven lay his head down onto Tyler's shoulder and kept his small frown.
"Jonathan I want you to take Steven and play with him okay. And be careful he's younger and smaller than you. Treat him nicely okay?" JC told the boy.
"Okay." Jonathan responded.
"Okay Buddy, thanks." JC said ruffling the kids hair.
"Stevey! Let's go play in the other room." Jonathan said hopping off of JC's lap and running out. Steven hopped off of Tyler and ran after his older brother.
"Where did you guys go?" JC asked, looking back as his sister and her fiancé walked toward the living room.
"Dad sent us out to go look for some Christmas trees, halfway there we realized that it's Thanksgiving and all the tree places won't open until tomorrow." Heather said shaking the rain off of her jacket.
"Hey Tim, could you possibly watch Ben while I go get their diaper bag?" Justin asked.
"Uhm sure, I guess." Tim responded. He took Justin's spot on the ground and looked down at the boy who now looked at him in question. Ben let out a small frown and eyes Tim suspiciously.
"Hey Justin?" Tim asked as he looked up to see that he had left the room already. Ben didn't move as Tim scooped the boy up and brought him face to face.
"Hey Ben. I'm your Uncle Tim. Nice to meet you." Tim said to the baby. Ben gave a small giggle and reached out for Tim's nose.
"Yeah I know I have a big nose, sorry." Tim said as the baby giggled more. By the time Justin came back, Tim was laughing as Ben giggled emphatically. Justin walked up behind Heather and looked over her shoulder.
"I approve." Justin whispered to her, while he continued to watch the two interact.
"thanks." Heather responded.
"Okay babies, you are coming with your good old Papa because we are going to go take a bath. Let's go." JC said scooping up Amy in one arm and taking up Ben in the other with the assistance of Tim.
"Okay Kiddos, let's go." JC said heading toward the stairs.
JC walked out of the bathroom while quickly running a towel over his hair. His pants hung loosely on his hips as he made his way toward his room to retrieve a shirt. He slipped the towel around his neck and came face to face with his childhood door. On the door were wooden letters whose blue paint were now a dull drab blue. The letters spelled J-O-S-H. He ran his fingers over them and let out a small sigh. He opened the door and stepped into the room where Justin was hunched over an open suitcase that was sitting on the bed. He rummaged around for something while humming a soft tune to himself. JC silently crept up on Justin and stood directly behind him. He swiftly grabbed Justin's ass causing him to stand erect suddenly. As soon as Justin turned around, JC enveloped both arms around his husband. Justin smacked JC's bare chest causing JC to snicker to himself. The younger man leaned in and gently pressed a kiss onto his husband's lips.
"What are you looking for?" JC asked.
"A gift." Justin responded.
"Oh really? For who?" JC asked.
"For my husband." Justin replied.
"Oh really? Which one?" JC questioned.
"Well. . . Hey What do you mean which one? I only have one husband." Justin replied.
"Well it's good to know." JC shrugged.
"As much as I don't want you to, you should really put on a shirt." Justin said. With a crack of thunder, both men turned toward the window where gusts of wind and rain beat down on the earth.
"Yeah maybe I should." JC said with a small nod. Justin ran a finger over JC's medium sized brown nipple and placed a small kiss at the base of JC's neck.
"Now get my present while I get dressed." JC said placing a small peck on Justin's forehead. Justin smiled as he went back to rummaging through his bag. He found what he was looking for and walked to the head of the bed where he had placed his glasses. He took up his glasses and slipped them on. He looked beneath the nightstand and saw a row of yearbooks. He smiled as he pulled two out.
"What are these?" Justin asked. JC turned around after sliding a shirt over his frame. "Those are my Junior and Senior yearbooks." JC replied. He took a seat on the bed and watched as Justin looked at the books with fascination. JC sat against the head board of his bed and watched as Justin slowly sat down, taking one of the books in his hand. He opened it up and gazed at the notes that were spread over the pages.
"Justin you look as if you've never seen a yearbook before." JC snickered. Justin's smile faded to a mere empty look.
"I've seen one, I've just never had one." Justin sighed. JC placed and arm on Justin's shoulder and gently pulled him back toward him. Justin leaned back into JC and flipped through the pages. He stopped where a picture of a girl was surrounded by red pen ink.
"Dearest Josh! My husband for life. It's been fun having you sit next to me in Nutrition all year. I truly would not know where I'd be if I didn't have a chance to complain to you everyday. Thanks for the free therapy. Your beloved wife, Tiff." Justin read aloud. JC chuckled at the memory.
"I'm not even going to get all mad at that." Justin laughed.
"We were paired in a marriage simulation project." JC explained.
"Suuuuure." Justin responded.
"Just turn the page." JC urged. Justin turned the page and smile when he saw a younger JC who was leaning back on a flight of stairs with his friends.
"Hey! That's Brad and Chad!" Justin smiled in recognition. JC smiled at Justin's enthusiasm.
"Yeah you want to see a surprise?" JC asked.
"Yeah sure." Justin said.
"Turn to page, eighty-two I think." JC said with a faulty memory. Justin turned to the page and found a page dedicated just to JC. On the page was a collage of pictures. At the top was a picture of a younger Justin and a younger JC staring at the camera from their seats on the set of the Mickey Mouse Club.
"Hey! How'd you get me into a year book?" Justin asked.
"Well parents are allowed to buy pages and kinda make it dedicated to their children. And well my parents took a picture of you and me and put it into the page because you meant so much to me." JC claimed.
"You're so sweet." Justin replied.
"Hey it's my parents, not me." JC said, pressing a kiss to Justin's cheek. Justin's eyes moved down to a picture of JC as a younger kid standing in front of a house.
"Oh you look so cute. Who's house?" Justin questioned.
"It was ours. It burned down in a fire." JC replied saddened.
"Really where was it?" Justin asked.
"It's in this town. Not too far away. Maybe we'll drive over there today." JC suggested.
"Yeah I'd like to." Justin responded.
"Do you want to get that photo album down there? That has some better pictures of me when I was younger." JC tried to divert.
"No I wanna finish the yearbook and see what's you were up to. Do you have a high school reunion coming up?" Justin asked.
"uhm in like three years I think. I dunno. But I did get a party invite for the day after tomorrow." JC said.
"Are we going to go?" Justin asked.
"I wasn't planning to but I guess if you want to we can." JC said.
"Yea, let's go." Justin said happily.
"Okay." JC said bashfully.
"And you can wear this." Justin said holding up a long slender box. JC smiled happily as he took the box.
"Why did you get me this?" JC questioned staring at the box.
"Cause I saw it and it reminded me of you. So I bought it." Justin replied.
"Good reason." JC said. He gently opened the box and found a modest silver chain with a circular pendent with Ben and Amy's face engraved into it.
"Wow! I love it!!" JC said happily, glancing up at Justin.
"Well I found this store that engraves pictures and stuff, so I took Tyler's sketch of them and they engraved it onto the pendent. They did a really good job seeing how the pendent is so small." Justin said looking at it himself.
"Well it's beautiful just like you." JC said leaning in and placing a small kiss on his cheek.
"Why thank you, yet you also said that this ugly girl is beautiful as well." Justin said looking down onto the page where JC had drawn an arrow next to a cheerleader's picture and put a heart.
"That's Samantha, She lives up the street." JC told him.
"I don't care." Justin shrugged.
"Hello?" Lance asked, placing the phone to his ear. He sat in the living room of the Bass home, lounging around while watching the TV lazily.
"Scoop! What's new?" Justin asked.
"Hey Justin. Happy Thanksgiving." Lance replied.
"Thanks! You too. How's it going?" Justin questioned.
"It's fine. How is everything at the in-laws?" Lance questioned.
"Everything is fine. They are all happy with the kids and are spoiling them rotten. How is everything with the Bass family and Britney?" Justin asked.
"I can tell my mom has a problem with her. My dad loves her, my sister loves her, but my Mom is just not liking her right now." Lance replied.
"Oh no! Why?" Justin asked.
"Well the first thing she didn't like is when we came through the door we headed toward the same room and expected to share a room. But no. She has us doing the gender thing. Me and Ford are stuck in one room, while Stacey and Britney are in another." Lance responded.
"But Lance, did you really think your mother would change? I mean seriously when me and Josh visited one time she made us take different rooms, even though we were engaged." Justin snickered.
"Yeah well, that's not the end of it. Me, Brit, Ford, and Stacey were sitting in the living room talking and she swore but the worse part is that my mother was walking by. And then! I was sitting in her room and was watching her while she changed and my mom walks in to see her in her bra and me on the bed watching her. I think she thinks Britney corrupted me." Lance sighed.
"Ha! I think she's kept you so much more tame then she has corrupted you. How is your Dad doing?" Justin questioned.
"He is fine. He is a little stressed with work but he's taking a well deserved break right now." Lance responded.
"That's good. And how is the mother to be?" Justin asked.
"Stacey is fine. She is starting to show a bit. Ford is looking forward to being a Dad. And I get to be an uncle! Another one!" Lance responded.
"Speaking of Uncles! You know Tim? Tyler cannot stand him. They had to share a room and Tyler said he snores like a cow, he mumbles, and kicks a lot." Justin snickered.
"Ha! How are the parents liking Tim?" Lance questioned.
"They are liking him pretty well. But Josh's Mom took me aside and said I will always be her favorite son-in-law." Justin stated.
"And Roy?" Lance asked.
"He said that he is impartial." Justin added.
"How is Josh holding up? Are the kids keeping him busy." Lance asked.
"The kids are keeping him up. The whole day he's been trying to get a nap in, but he is constantly woken up by one child or another. And now he's coming into the room." Justin said as he watched his husband walk into the room and plop down on the bed in fatigue. Justin pat JC's back soothingly as he watch him close his eyes in an attempt to drift off to sleep.
"Poor Jayce." Lance replied.
"Okay Lance. I'll talk to you later. Tell your parents I said hey. Talk to you later." Justin said.
"Okay bye." Lance responded. Justin hung up the phone and turned to see his husband sleeping. He leaned in and gently placed a small kiss on JC's cheek. JC let out a moan and lifted his arm and placed it around Justin, and pulled toward him. Justin was pulled against JC on the bed, who refused to let go.
"Josh!" Justin said, getting no response.
"Josh!!" Justin said snickering while struggling to get out of JC's grip.
"Josh." Justin whispered before he started to furiously tickle the older man. JC turned on his side and covered his abs while laughing furiously.
"Why don't you get your sleep and I'll wake you up before dinner." Justin said getting up.
"Okay." JC mumbled. Justin walked to the door and halted when hearing JC.
"Just?" JC mumbled.
"Yeah?" Justin asked.
"I love you." JC responded. Justin smiled to himself as he walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.
Tyler sat on the arm of the recliner cradling a plate of pie while JC sat in the recliner steadying his as well. Both brothers stared at the television where a commentary on the football games was drifting over the TV.
"Are you done yet?" Tyler asked.
"No! They've only gone through half the games." JC replied, glancing at the TV.
"Josh! Just go get a paper or something. In a paper it's in ink and you can keep it forever." Tyler stated.
"Shut up!" JC retorted while continuing to stare at the television.
"Hey Dork!" Heather said walking by, pushing Tyler. Tyler fell backwards into JC's lap. JC continued to watch the TV while his brought laid over him.
"Hey Now! Leave my husband alone." Justin joked as he took a seat on the couch next to where Tyler had been sitting.
"He's comfortable." Tyler said relaxing a bit. With one swift push from JC, Tyler went stumbling to the floor.
"Ow!" Tyler exclaimed.
"Hey that's my brother-in-law!" Justin exclaimed. Tyler got up and plopped down next to Justin.
"Joshua! Can you do me a favor and go get some thins from the store?" Karen asked, poking her head into the room with a short shopping list.
"Okay mom." JC sighed as he finally tore himself away from the television.
"Only Mom could tear JC from his TV when he's watching." Tyler snickered.
"Hey Josh, I'll come with you." Justin said hopping up.
"Ty, the kids are snoozing in the other room. Could you possibly watch them if they wake up?" JC asked.
"Sure thing!" Tyler responded. Justin and JC suited up and grabbed the car keys, while heading out into the rainy weather. The couple got into the car and started to ride off into the rainy weather. JC slipped his jacket off and continued to drive. JC rested his hand on the gear change of the automatic car, while the other stayed firmly on the steering wheel. Justin fastened his seatbelt and placed his hand on top of JC's. JC gave a quick loving glance to Justin before looking back at the road.
"So remind me if you will. Isn't the store down that street?" Justin asked as they passed the turn- off street.
"Yes it is, but I'm going to show you a special place." JC responded.
"How special?" Justin asked.
"So special that I haven't told anyone that I still go here." JC responded.
"Really? Ooooo, I am special!" Justin stated with a grin.
"God I love you." JC replies with a sigh.
"I love you too Indy." Justin commented.
"Every single day, I thank god that I married you." JC replied with a genuine smile.
"And I thank god that you married me too." Justin said lifting his feet to put on the dashboard.
"Justin? Do you want another child?" JC asked casually.
"Not right now. But eventually. I want to have like four or five kids one day." Justin responded. Justin gave a questioning glance back to JC. JC caught the glance and gave him a small head shake.
"I don't want more children now either. But I'd eventually like to get Ben and Amy a younger brother or sister." JC responded.
"And who do you think will have our baby?" Justin asked.
"Ha! Can you imagine Britney or Christina, pregnant with our child?" JC snickered.
"That would be a sight to see. Britney, the sexiest women alive, wearing maternity clothes and throwing up every other minute." Justin laughed.
"And Christina would probably complain and bitch about the baby kicking every two seconds." JC added. Both let out a hearty laugh and smiled at one another.
"Justin?" JC asked.
"Hmm?" Justin asked in return.
"Why did you choose me?" JC questioned.
"Because there wasn't a reason not to choose you." Justin replied, running the tip of his finger over JC's hand which still rested on the gear shift.
"Thank you Sweetheart." JC responded.
"Josh? Why did you choose me?" Justin asked.
"Cause you made me." JC joked. Justin gave a mock look of offense and took his hand off of JC's only to fold them over his chest.
"Oh Blue, you know I'm just joking." JC said taking Justin's hand and bringing both hands to rest in his lap. Justin took his hand away and gently placed it on JC's crotch. JC let out a loud gasp at the sudden movement and gave Justin a surprised look. Justin gave him a wicked grin before starting to rub the area. JC started to squirm a bit in his seat, obviously facing the fact of his growing manhood.
"Justin!" JC said in a hushed whisper.
"Shhhh." Justin eased as he groped the tightly covered area.
"Justin, we're here. Let's go inside." JC said, pulling up to an old abandoned house. One half of the house wad obviously destroyed by a fire while the other side showed it's old age and poor upkeep.
"Where are we?" Justin asked, his hand still on JC's crotch.
"We are at my childhood home. Let's go." JC said reaching into the back seat and pulling a blanket off the backseat. JC put his hood over his head and got out of the car. Justin opened the car door and ran after his husband who ran to the door of the boarded up home. JC ran around the wrap around porch to the side where he gently lifted a window and slipped into the house. Justin followed the older man, escaping from the rain by entering the dark dismal home. Almost instantly Justin's eyes focused to the dreary barren room they were standing in. He stared at the ghostly living room and imagined a baby JC running around on the now dingy carpet, making obscure inaudible conversations with anyone in sight.
"This was the living room and through this sliding door is the dining room." JC said pointing to his left where two large wooden paneled doors hung. "And if you go to this side of the house you'll see that this is where the fire happened. And it basically burned the den and my Mom and Dad's room and the garage." JC explained.
"Wow, so you like to come here and think?" Justin questioned.
"Yeah, you want to see my favorite room?" JC asked.
"Sure." Justin said with s shrug. JC slipped the blanket under his arm and took Justin's hand. He carefully led Justin through the house to the back where they stepped out of the kitchen through a seat of glass sliding doors. Almost instantly, Justin felt as if he was outside again. he could see the rain pouring down all around him and the roof was the sky above. Yet he was completely dry. Both Justin and JC were standing in a glass walled sunroom. JC undid the blanket in the middle of the room while Justin admired the rain that fell onto the slanted roof and dribbled down to the vertical walls. Plants and shrubbery surrounded the outside of the room except for where the door led to a pathway outside. Justin turned to give a smile to JC, but found him sitting on the floor instead. Justin gazed at the way JC looked in his tight water soaked shirt in the midst of the thousands of shadows projected onto the floor by the droplets of water that hit the earth. Justin slid out of his jacket and took a seat next to JC.
"This is where I go when I need to think things out. Sometimes Tyler or Heather get on my nerves. Or when Mom and Dad are pissed at me or something." JC said softly.
"Why do you like this room so much, I mean I would have figured it would have been your old room or something." Justin said giving a small glance toward his husband. JC let out a visible shiver which caused Justin to move closer to JC.
"You need to get out of your shirt, you are going to catch a cold." Justin said softly.
"It's still cold if I take my shirt off." JC retorted.
"Yeah but it won't be as cold." Justin claimed. Justin reached for the hem of JC's shirt and started to lift while JC lifted his arms over his head. The tight, moist black shirt, was shed revealing a lightly tanned, slick, tight upper torso. JC and Justin stared at one another while the rain beat down creating a soft pattering that resonated throughout the room. The shadows continued to move about them, as the two gazed at each other endlessly. Justin slowly leaned in and placed a small kiss on JC's lips. JC raised his hand and cupped Justin's cheek while he pursued the kiss further, turning a simple peck into a passionate kiss. The passion didn't dwindle, as Justin continued to reciprocate the kiss. JC tongue slipped out of his mouth poking at Justin's teeth asking for entrance. Just allows the tongue to enter his mouth and suckled it for a brief moment before it escaped only to enter once again. Almost as if in slow motion. Both men who sat up began to lay down. Justin eventually end up laying on his back while hovered over him by resting on his hands and knees. JC's kiss pressed deep into Justin as Justin ran his hands through JC's long hair. JC propped himself on one hand while the other went to the hem of Justin's shirt, slowly slithering under the shirt to savor Justin's soft skin. Justin's hands left JC's soft silky hair and drifted down the contours of JC's sleek back. JC briefly parted lips with Justin, only for the brief second in which he could lift Justin's shirt over his head and off his body. Their lips magically found each other once again. JC's kisses became more rapid and fierce as he started to move down Justin's body. Spreading succulent kisses from Justin's lips to his chin to the nape of his neck. Justin writhed in pleasure as his husband pressed kisses into his skin.
"Ohhh Josh." Justin said with a deep sigh. JC's kisses covered Justin's shoulders. JC paid attention to every small freckle on Justin's shoulders while Justin reveled in the pleasure JC brought him. JC's hand slipped to Justin's pants and fumbled with the buckled of his belt. As soon as the belt was undone, JC unbuttoned his pants and slipped them off. With the help of Justin's movements, the pants were shed revealing Justin's legs to the cold air of the open garden. Justin opened his eyes while JC's continued to spread kisses over his body. He looked up at the clouds showering drops of water upon the glass ceiling. He watched as the trees swayed in the same euphoric pattern he felt. He arched his back and shut his eyes in pleasure as his nipples were enveloped by JC's mouth. In a swift motion, both rolled over causing Justin to pin JC's arms above his head while staring down at him lustfully. They both breathed heavy as Justin leaned in and pressed a series of kisses over JC's neck. JC was vulnerable to the attack of the lips that pressed so earnestly. Justin gyrated his torso into JC's causing JC to elicit moans of ecstasy into the deep passionate kisses they shared. Justin's hardening tool was felt through the thin piece of cotton that entrapped in within. JC's own manhood strained against the confines of his jeans. Justin let go of JC's hands which allowed him to bring them to his own jeans. Almost instantly he had them off. He slipped both hands into Justin's boxers and cupped both cheeks. Justin responded by pressing his erect penis further into JC's crotch causing the man to writhed in pleasure. JC continued kneading the firm flesh of Justin's ass while Justin's hands were roaming over JC's sleek back. JC hurriedly spread a trail of kisses down Justin's torso once again until he reached his naval. His kisses became more sincere and passionate as he reached Justin's slight treasure trail. He gently kissed the line of hair until he reached the elastic band of Justin's boxers. With both hands, JC slipped them down to his knees where Justin took over in taking them completely off. Justin's completely nude form writhed under the wrath of JC's lips. With sudden gasp, Justin's tool was engulfed with the moist warm cavern that was JC's mouth. Justin's back arched continuously as the overwhelming sensation shook his whole body. JC expertly worked on the piece of perfection that was bobbing before him. JC moved his head up and down along the shaft causing each oscillation to be reciprocated with a moan of pleasure. Justin opened his eyes and watched as the rain fell onto the glass roof. As the rain picked up and poured down, a surge of sensations went through Justin's body. He arched his back one final time and spilled his seed into JC's mouth. JC's warm moist mouth slipped off of Justin's flaccid member. Both men came face to face. They shared a passionate kiss while Justin reveled in his pleasure.
"I love you." JC whispered.
"I love you too. Josh?" Justin asked.
"Yeah?" JC questioned softly.
"Let's help you take care of your little problem." Justin said, pressing a kiss onto JC's lips while firmly gripping JC's hardened penis. JC let out an involuntary moan as his mouth was engulfed with Justin's. Justin rolled his husband over so that JC was on his back, propped up by his elbows. Justin placed sporadic kisses on JC's lips while continuing to hold JC's firm tool. He gently and rhythmically started to move hi hand up and down. JC involuntarily let out a resonate groan of approval. He watched as his husband slowly jack him off. Justin's hand soon was covered with a clear fluid that was emitted from the tip of JC's penis. He smeared the liquid over the tight hard flesh. JC writhed in pleasure at the feeling of his husband's hand going up and down his shaft. Justin started to increase his speed causing JC to buck his hips to the movements of Justin's hand. Justin placed a kiss on JC's cheek while he watch JC's breath become short. JC's eyes were pinched tightly closed, writhing in pleasure from the sensations he felt. He let out a sudden gasp and leaned his head back as he shot his load out over his legs. Justin lifted his hand off of JC's penis and brought the slightly soaked fingers to his mouth where he licked off the excess. He lifted himself and curled up to JC who was now laying flat on his back, recovering from the orgasm that rocked him. Justin placed his slightly curly head down onto JC's chest just beneath his chin. Justin's head rose with every deep breath that JC took.
"Wow." JC whispered.
"You can say that again." Justin responded. The loud crack of thunder drifted over them, as the rain continued to pour down on the glass room.
"Josh, we should go." Justin said lifting up a bit. JC wrapped both arms around Justin and pulled him back down.
"No, just a little bit longer." JC replied closing his eyes.
"Your mom will begin to worry about her groceries." Justin snickered.
"Oh well, we'll say there was traffic." JC said, holding onto Justin's body. Both sweaty men lay nude together as the rain continued to pour down.
"Hey Indy! Just wanting to see how your day with the brats are going. I miss you at home. Oh Want anything from Old Navy? I'm going there to buy some clothes for Christmas presents and stuff? I'll leave my cell on. Talk to you later, I love you." Justin's voice chimed out of the phone. JC snickered and turned the phone off before looking down onto Laura who was talking with a friend while Jonathan and Steven sat on a bench next to her eating ice cream cones.
"Why can't you go with us tomorrow? Tomorrow's Sunday and you don't have school on Monday." Laura's friend coaxed.
"My brother's anniversary is Monday and I'm spending the weekend with him and JC." Laura responded.
"So is that ice cream good Steven?" JC asked, taking a seat next to the boy. He nodded eagerly and offered it to JC. JC leaned in and took a small bite.
"Thanks Buddy. Remember when we go home and your Mom asks you what you did today, you can say you went to the zoo and had fun at the park but you cannot tell her we had ice cream okay?" JC assured.
"Okay." Jonathan said as he hopped up and threw away his trash.
"Can we go home and see Ben and Amy now?" Laura asked.
"Yeah, I think they will be excited to see their Aunt Laura." JC nodded.
"Can we go swimming later?" Jonathan asked.
"Not today Kiddo, You are going to have to get ready because we have to get ready for the play remember?" JC said.
"Oh yeah." Jonathan responded.
"Why don't we go now so we have some time to relax before we go okay?" JC suggested.
"Do you know where you are going?" Heather asked, casting a glance toward her brother-in-law. Justin just rolled his eyes and continued to drive.
"This is Orlando, I know this city like the back of my hand." Justin said gripping the wheel as he made his way home.
"Then why have we past that same Dunkin Donuts for like the eighth time?" Heather asked.
"It's a chain Heather. There are more than one Dunkin Donuts in the city of Orlando." Justin replied.
"Look! There is the turn off to the house." Tim pointed out.
"Hey do you think JC will like this wallet thing I got him?" Tyler questioned from the back seat where he sat next to Tim.
"Yeah! And if he doesn't, I do so I can take it from him." Justin snickered.
"You know what we need to do? We need to have a Christmas party." Heather suggested.
"Then you can host it at your house. I plan on spending a nice evening in front of the fire with my husband, our children, our families, and our dogs." Justin said contently.
"Okay then New Years!!!" Tyler suggested.
"Maybe, we'll see if Lance is having his shin dig again." Justin snickered. Within minutes they were parked outside the front of the house. They all piled out and grabbed bags from the trunk. As they made their way to the front door, they could hear a mob of laughter inside.
"Hey Hun! We're home." Justin said as he entered the house. The clatter of three dogs greeted him as they eagerly piled around as if expecting something in return. JC ran out of the living laughing to meet his husband.
"Hey Sweetheart. What'd you get?" JC asked trying to peek into the bag.
"Lots of clothes. And a few gadgets." Justin replied accepting the hug JC gave him.
"So what are you guys doing that is causing you to laugh so much?" Tyler questioned.
"Well we're just hanging out and chatting about old times. Why don't you guys give me your bags and I'll go put them upstairs. And you can go join everyone in the living room." JC suggested. They all dropped their bags which he quickly compiled in his hands. Justin followed JC up the stairs into their room where they threw everything on the bed. They heard a faint meow come from atop the bed.
"JC, your walking ball of yarn is talking." Justin said, looking askance at the small kitten.
"Leave Oreo alone." JC warned as he scoped up the animal and began heading out of the room.
"Josh?' Justin asked. JC turned around and was immediately smothered with a kiss.
"What was that for?" JC asked nuzzling his nose to Justin's.
"Well we're bound to go down there and be surrounded by our family and I can bet that you will be on one side of the room chasing after Steven while I'm cradling Amy or a dog or something on the other side. And I didn't want you to be without a kiss today." Justin explained.
"I love you." JC whispered.
"I love you too." Justin whispered in return. A soft meow echoed between them.
"But I hate him!" Justin said pointing down at the cat. JC snickered followed Justin who walked out of the room and downstairs. They entered the room that was bursting at the seems with family. Britney, Christina, Lance and Cole sat squished on the couch. Sitting on the arm of the couch was Tyler on one end and Laura on the other. Lynn, Paul, Randall, and Lisa pressed into the other couch while Heather and Tim sat in front of them on the floor. Joey sat on the arm with a bundled up infant in his arms. Karen and Roy sat on the alcove bench facing into the living room. Steven and Jonathan sat next to the laying Leo and Ozzie who looked around lazily. Hunter toyed with the arm of the couch, obliviously playing by himself. Ben and Amy sat up comfortably patting the ground around them as they played with stuffed animals which surrounded them. Amy had a tiger in one hand, while she stuck a whale in her mouth. Her brother was busy throwing the stuffed animals to put any one of them into her mouth.
"Amy Ariel, what do you have in your mouth?" Lynn questioned. Amy looked up toward the voice and smiled in recognition. She gave a mischievous grin before rejoining her accomplice in playing with every stuffed animal in sight.
"Hey Hunts! Are you chewing up my furniture?" Justin asked grabbing the dog by his front paws and stopping his actions. Hunter bounced up happily which caused Justin to scoop up the growing dog and carrying him to a place on the floor next to his children. JC fell into the recliner and watched everyone with the same amount of laziness as the dogs did. Hunter laid down across Justin's lap, resting his chin on Justin's knees while watching the kids protectively. JC continued to pet Oreo who was crawling around JC's lap playing with a small ball JC had given him.
"Kids? What time are you going to go see A Christmas Carol?" Randall asked, directing his question to Justin and JC.
"Uhm in like two hours. We should all go get ready huh?" Justin responded.
"Yeah better leave us olden folk by ourselves so we can have our grandparents conference." Roy stated. With a sigh, Justin stood up giving JC a weary look of tiredness.
December 10th, a day that had a dual meeting. It not only signified the second anniversary of the JC and Justin as a couple, but their first anniversary of their marriage. Their house lay still in the early hours of the morning. Ben and Amy lay sleeping soundly next to one another oblivious to the importance of the day. JC and Justin lay snuggled in their bed running from the morning sun that tried to burst into the room. Justin shifted lightly so that his head rested comfortably on JC's chest, just under JC's chin. JC's sleeping figure lay haphazardly on the bed with one arm wrapped around Justin while the other was resting on his own taut belly. The silence was shattered with an earth shattering ring from the telephone. JC startled awake and looked around quickly. He let out a sigh of agony when he saw the clock reading nine o'clock. He reached over to the nightstand and lifted the phone from it's receiver.
"Hello?" JC said wearily.
"HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!" Came a loud chorus from the other end.
"Thanks guys." JC said in a hoarse voice.
"Give it to Justin! Give it to Justin!" Chris's voice chimed through. JC placed the phone up to Justin's ear.
"HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!" Came another loud chorus of voices. Justin shot awake and looked at Justin in weariness. He gave a small scowl before putting his head back down and pulling JC's arm over him as if to go back to their original position.
"He's too tired to talk with you." JC related into the phone.
"Well we just wanted to wish you a happy anniversary and to remind you that we are all coming over to pick you and kids up so we can go take our professional pics in the park." Britney reminded.
"Oh crap! Okay we'll be up, we promise." JC stated. He said his goodbyes and went back to bed. He snuggled up to his husband once again and tried to fall back asleep. His efforts were successful yet Justin on the other hand, was wide awake.
"Josh?" Justin asked, frustrated with being awake.
"Hmm?" JC half mumbled in sleep.
"Josh?" Justin asked again.
"Hmm???" JC asked again.
"Joshua?" Justin asked as he turned to face his husband. JC let out an irritated sigh and slowly opened his eyes to look at Justin.
"Hmm?" JC asked, giving Justin his attention.
"I love you." Justin said with a grin. JC leaned in and pressed a minute kiss on his lips before placing his cheek next to Justin's.
"Do you want breakfast?" JC asked in a whisper.
"Are you making it?" Justin questioned.
"Sure." JC responded.
"Then hell yeah!" Justin snickered.
JC sat on the couch with Ben in his lap, trying to adjust the small boy's clothing as best as he could. The sounds of `Bye Bye Bye' were strumming through the speakers of the TV as the video played for all to see. Ben reached out toward the television and cooed at the sight of his fathers and uncles.
"Yeah BJ that's your Daddy, isn't he beautiful?" JC asked. Ben gave a silly smile and started to squirm for the couch. He placed the boy down and watched as he stood up only to fall back onto his tush . He tried once more and used the back to stand again. He proudly balanced himself and took a few steps toward his father. JC proudly scooped up the boy and pressed a kiss on the boy's forehead.
"Now if only your Dad and your sister would hurry up." JC said to his son. Ben sat in his father's lap and began to toy with JC's watch. He earnestly used two hands to try and get the watch off. Leo ran into the room and jumped onto the couch, which caused Ben to stop his antics and play with the dog's ears. Leo allowed the boy to toy with his ears, never once flinching or growling.
"Okay Beej! You are looking stylish just like your Pops." JC said looking at the boy who was dressed in a white wool sweater with a bit of green showing around the neck, which contrasted with his blue jeans. JC's own clothes were similar. His white wool sweater was dawned over a dark green shirt which peeked out around the collar. His jeans were a bigger version of what Ben was wearing.
"Hey you guys! Happy Anniversary!" Christina smiled as she ran into the living room toward JC.
"Thanks Chrissy." JC responded gratefully.
"Where is your husband?" Christina questioned.
"Right here." Justin said walking in with Amy in his arms. Justin wore the same wool white sweater with a red shirt poking out from under. His jeans were the same as JC's and Ben's. Amy wore the same sweater with the same red shirt poking out while she wore a pair of baby jeans.
"You guys look so disgustingly happy in your matching outfits." Christina claimed.
"Wait until you see the matching scarves and hats." Justin snickered.
"Why are you guys dressed the same?" Christina questioned.
"We're taking black and white pictures." JC explained.
"You are also taking colored ones." Christina pointed out.
"So it's alright, we'll be dressed similarly." Justin claimed.
"You ready to go?" Christina asked.
"Yeah! Let's go." JC said.
"Bye Moms and Dads!! We'll be home after we finish taking pictures." Justin yelled upstairs.
"Bye Kids!" Karen and Lynn chimed in together."
"Bye!" Lisa added.
Justin sat on the top step of a circular staircase leading up to the elaborate fountain found in the middle of the national park. He sat with feet resting on lower steps with elbows resting on his knees, clasped hands resting under his chin. JC crouched next to him while looking at the camera man. He tried to avoid the sight of Joey, Chris, and Lance goofing around behind the cameraman with their kids. He tried to maintain the constant smile for the camera.
"Okay good. Now let's add the kids." He said. Britney and Christina grabbed the children from the guys and brought them up to the guys. JC took a seat next to his husband, imitating the exact posture as him. Justin placed Ben down on the step just in front of his foot as did JC. Both kids instantly turned and clawed at their fathers. The simultaneously let out a sigh and scooped up their children. The placed their kids on their knees and looked toward the camera. Britney and Christina tried to get the kids attention but their snaps and whistles were useless.
"move aside ladies. Let the professionals handle this." Joey ushered aside. He stepped behind the camera man with Chris and pulled out noise makers for New Years. He began whistling and rattling the loud noise makers as did Chris.
"Look over here Ben and Amy!" Joey yelled. Both kids looked at the grown men and smiled. The cameraman seized the opportunity and began to take a series of pictures.
"Okay that is good. Now why don't we take a picture with the five guys." The cameraman said. Lance, Chris, and Joey stepped up to the fountain while both girls took the babies away.
"Okay Great." The cameraman said taking a series of pictures of the guys in their holiday clothes.
"Now let's add the girls?" he continued. Both girls stepped in. Britney took a seat next to Lance and tilted her head on his shoulder while Christina squished between Justin and JC. In an instant all the Christmas pictures were taken.
"So what are your plans for the rest of the night?" Christina asked as she walked up beside JC and Justin toward their front door. Britney followed behind carrying Ben and Amy who looked around wide- eyed at everyone.
"Well I think we want to have a nice dinner and exchange gifts and head to bed. Nothing too special." Justin said.
"Why not? It's your first anniversary. You should go out and paint the town red. You should yell out that you survived the first year of marriage and plan on surviving many more." Britney added.
"What do you want? Us to throw a party or something?" JC asked as he got to the door.
"Why not? It'll be cool!!" Joey said happily.
"Yeah well maybe next year." JC said opening his door. As soon as he entered and allowed Justin to walk in, they were greated by the sudden turning on of the lights.
"SURPRISE!!!" Came a loud yell of people. Both guys looked shocked at the sight of their family and friends. Justin stood behind JC and buried his ecstatic face into JC's shoulder.
"Wow! Thanks you guys!" JC said as he turned and looked at the guys who were all beaming in success.
"Come on in. Come on in!" Lynn ushered.
Justin walked through the dining room nudging his step mother jokingly as he entered the kitchen. He walked to the counter where he picked up a small wedge of cheese that was spread out along with the various plates of food and drink. He looked up at his friend Trace who was busy speaking into a cell phone. Justin grabbed a glass from the cupboard and filled it with some water before walking over to Trace. He took a seat on a stool while listening to Trace's call.
"Okay. Uhm I'll try and get it done by tomorrow.: Trace said into the phone.
"Okay goodbye." Trace responded before turning his phone off.
"I know you aren't talking about work at my Anniversary party." Justin warned.
"Uhm. . . well. . . uhm. . . Yeah you caught me, Guilty as charged." Trace claimed. Justin rolled his eyes at the man and stood up. He grabbed open more wedge of cheese before walking out of the room with Trace in tote.
"So how was your day?" Trace asked.
"It was mellow. Just hanging out with the guys and the kids, took some pictures. Nothing too exciting. You?" Justin replied. They walked into the living room where a lot of people sat around laughing.
"It was hectic. Do you know how hard it is to go through a whole day without a break?" Trace questioned.
"You are asking me about no breaks? When we are on tour we have no breaks for three months let alone one day." Justin snickered.
"You remember that girl Jillian I brought to that one party?" Trace asked.
"Yeah. She was kinda. . . well. . . she was weird." Justin claimed.
"Yeah well now I can't seem to get her off me. She is almost crossing the line into becoming my stalker." Trace laughed.
"She better have not of followed you here. I have enough problems to do with, I don't need a stalker." Justin said. He walked into the living room and handed JC the glass of water before making his way to the recliner. Justin took a seat while Trace sat on the arm of the chair.
"So how is life with the ever so perfect JC?" Trace asked, dripping with sarcasm.
"He's fine actually. I mean he does some stuff that irks me but I still love him." Justin replied.
"He seems very protective of you. You know what I mean? When was the last time you got to hang out with your friends and not worry about him. Or when was the last time he talked to your friends?" Trace brought up.
"Well I don't know. He doesn't really hang out with my friends. I mean he acknowledges them and he speaks with them but he doesn't like spend the day with them." Justin claimed.
"And I bet he makes you hang out with his friends and go to his dinners and stuff." Trace added.
"Well he does want me to come, but it is ultimately up to me." Justin claimed.
"I don't know Just, he seems kinda over protective of you." Trace said as he glanced about the room. His eyes focused on JC who sat on the couch with Christina next to him and Steven on his lap. He kept a steady conversation with Christina while tickling Steven into fits of laughter.
"Why isn't he sitting with you today?" Trace asked.
"Because I'm sitting here with you." Justin responded.
"Well why don't you go sit with him. I mean it's your anniversary." Trace smiled. Justin snickered and got up. He made his way to JC's side and took a seat on the couch. JC glanced at him and lifted his arm around the younger man, only to pull him closer. Christina continued to talk, now directing her words toward both of them instead of one. JC leaned close to Justin and pressed a small kiss by his ear.
"I love you." JC whispered.
"Ditto." Justin replied.
". . . And they lived happily, ever after." JC said closing the story book. JC looked down in his lap and saw that Ben has fallen asleep with the rocking of the chair. However, Amy was wide awake clutching JC's arm that was now wrapped around her.
"Okay Sweet Pea. Let's put your brother to bed and then we'll take a little ride around the house okay?" JC asked as he maneuvered Amy so that she sat against the back of the rocking chair while he scooped Ben into his arms. He made his way to the crib and placed the baby down gently. He leaned in and placed a small kiss on his forehead, before bringing up the blankets around him.
"Goodnight BJ." JC whispered. He made his way to Amy's side and scooped up his daughter.
"Okay Amers. We are gonna try and get you to sleep in five minutes." JC said holding her in his arms. He started to bounce up and down as he trotted out of the room. He continued bounce about, making his way from one end of the hall to the other.
"And we'll take a left turn into our room." JC said as he entered the master bedroom. He trotted into the room to see Justin laying on the bed on top of the covers reading a book. JC made his way to the bed and placed a brief kiss on his cheek before continuing to trot around the room. He stopped in one place and started to rotate back and forth to lull his daughter to bed.
"Justin, do you have plans for next Sunday?" JC asked.
"Not that I know of. Why?" Justin asked.
"We have a dinner thing we have to go to." JC claimed.
"Excuse me?" Justin asked, rising a bit to look at JC.
"We have a dinner thing we have to go to." JC repeated.
"No, you have a dinner thing you have to go to." Justin responded.
"What do you mean? You're not coming?" JC asked, rocking back and forth.
"That's exactly what I mean." Justin replied, looking through his glasses at the words on the page.
"Why not? I don't think I can get through the night without you. I hate these dinners because all I end up doing is meeting a client or two who maybe might possibly be looking for a producer who usually end up getting someone else." JC sighed.
"Well I plan on hanging out with Trace that day." Justin shrugged.
"You just said that you didn't have any plans that you knew of." JC responded.
"Yeah well, Maybe I just don't want to go to one of your stupid dinner things just to make appearances for your sake. Maybe I want to hang out with my friends and maybe sometimes I want you to hang out with me with my friends." Justin retorted.
"What are you talking about? We hang out with the guys all the time and Trace is always with us. I hang out with your friends all the time." JC resolved.
"No you don't. Whenever Trace comes over, you always excuse yourself and go do something else. Last week you excused yourself and then took a nap." Justin replied
"Justin? Why are you arguing on our Anniversary. This is the one day that I expected not to have an argument." JC sighed.
"Well this is the one day that I thought you would respect me enough to understand where I am coming from." Justin retorted, closing his book and placing it on the nightstand, followed by his glasses. He lifted himself off the bed and pulled back the covers angrily.
"Justin. Why are you doing this now? If you ever had a problem with these dinner things, why didn't you mention it before? And if you want me to hang out with Trace more, just let me know." JC responded.
"That's not the point. You're missing the whole thing." Justin replied.
"Then what did I do wrong?" JC asked. Justin let out a huff and fell into to bed. He pulled the covers around him and moved the to center of the bed.
"Don't act so naïve Josh. You know what you are doing." Justin stated.
"You are hopeless." JC sighed as he walked off.
"I rather be hopeless than a jackass like you." Justin responded as JC walked out of the room. JC walked back into the room, having dropped off Amy in her crib, and stood in the doorframe.
"Justin you are so immature." JC scowled.
"Well this immature hopeless guy is sleeping on the bed. You can fight with Leo and Hunter for the couch." Justin said lifting up enough to grab a pillow and toss it at the door.
"Fine!" JC huffed, taking the pillow out of the room.
"Fine!!" Justin retorted.
"Fine!!!" JC yelled from down the hall. Justin let out a deep sigh and looked toward the door.
"Fine." He whispered.
