This is a fictional story that is for a character from my current tale 'with the Ramgards' that I have been writing. A few were taken with the character Gorham. The the village guards lieutenant that I surmised the hot manly man needed a tale all his own. It tells of his need to help young men escape the clutches of an intolerant church. And the boys he saves. But this is told at the point of view of said boys. There may be man-beasts in this tale. But not the predominant fixtures of the story. It is for the hot and hairy Gorham

Do enjoy.

... Well Martin had not expected to come into any physical moments with any of the guards. But it happened. He was finishing his lessons that were increasingly less and less interesting as he surmised that all the elders priests claims of what the people should and should not follow was all a bunch if lies. Either that was the case or they felt themselves above these laws set in place. He stepped out if the study rooms. He held his book of reference in hand. Notes attached to it by a pad. He pause outside to write himself some notes as the others headed out for a meal.

"I will see you all later" he said to them "I have things I wish to contemplate."

So he stood outside the main temple and sat there in the main hall. He grabbed his book and pad. He rummaged through the book in the sins of the flesh he had seen occur just the night before. He was considering confronting the elder in his sacrilege, his deceit. To tell him that he preached so much about ain and how all that did should be punished. To tell him he too should be punished if he believe the laws of God so vehemently. And he was actually going to do so. That was until his confrontation with Gorham the captain of the guards.

"Look there is the captain" he said to himself "I shall tell him" "He is the authority in the law"

Gorham was standing there in the main hall. Talking to some if his guards. They were to grab and take into custody a family that did not follow the teaching. Sin and adultery. The children would be taken from them. All these things he heard. He then paused as he stepped closer to them. Unsure if he should speak to the head of the guard. The man was busy delegating duty to his men. He had forgotten what a huge beast if a man Gorham was. Massive in frame and striking in his utter masculinity. He stopped and just to look at the huge man. His thick legs pushing at the material of what covered them. He licked at his lips as he gazed at the big beefy buttocks. Then the huge meaty arms and the strong manly face. The thick beard on his chin looked good.

"He is surely a mans man" Martin thought. "I am sure all bow before him" "Even the priests"

Martin was.gping to turn and leave, until Gorham saw him looking at them. He turned and regarded Martin. Then he stepped away from them.

"Yes master priest" the huge man said "Do you have a question fir me?"

Martin was going to just forget it. Forget it all as he was almost at a loss for words looking at the huge bear of a man. But Gorham seemed to sense his need for telling him something. So he pushed the question.

"Um. No. No" Martin started to say. "You do seem like you need to say something master" the huge man said back "Please. Tell me what is in your mind" "I am but a servant of the church and this village"

Martin looked at huge man. He had soft eyes and a most gentle seeming demeanor. Unlike his rough and almost scary side he had seen as he was dragging people from their homes. Did he have multiple personalities? Or was he just mean and scary at work. And this bug gentle speaking mam was the real man? Martin was unsure what to think. But the mans soft look at him made him more comfortable at trying to talk to this man. So he did. He decided to speak of what he saw.

"Well. Mister Gorham. Uh sir" Martin started "The elder priest. Uhm I saw him.."

Gorham looked upon Martin and almost smiled. He seemed to know where the young priest was going. So he interrupted him and finished his sentence.

"Yes. You saw him committing sin" Gorham said matter of fact

Martin was shocked that the huge man knew what was going on here in the temple. The house of the God they all followed. But Gorham just smiled and continued to speak.

"Sins of the flesh" he stopped to say "All priests commit them master priest" "If you have not yet. You will" "But the laws. The scrolls" Martin then chirped

Gorham placed a huge hand onto his shoulder and again began to speak to Martin plainly. To tell him what he (the head of all the city guards) thought and knew.

"Come" Gorham said "You seem a bright young man" "Let me show you something"

Martin cautiously smiled and then followed the big man. They headed towards where Martin saw the incident with the elder. Right by and into the prayer room where he had been before hearing the echoed sounds if sex that night. They stepped into the prayer room and Martin sat down. The large man went to the altar and pushed at the wall along the corner of the room. There a panel in the wall pushed open. It was a secret door. A secret door to a secret room.

"Come" he then said "What is this?" I asked

We stepped through the smaller door and into another chamber. Then he shot the door behind us. It was dark. Then he lit the wall sconce and an erie glow filled the very large room. The he lit other sconces on the thick atone walls. I looked around to see strange artifacts I have never seen before displayed on separate tables and pedestals. Items of strange almost mechanical complexity. Images on strange canvas of what appeared flying creatures. And even and image of an immense village with incredibly tall structures. He suggested I do not touch anything as many items were very fragile as they were very very old. He said that many of them have crumbled in ones hands just by holding them. And even though I wished to touch them, to touch something of these artifacts I did as he. asked.

"Come" he said again "Over here. Something we can look at"

We entered a small alcove with chairs and a small lower table. On there was book. A very large book. It was bound in a shiny covering and there were metal like rings holding the book together. He told me to sit there next to him. I swallowed as I came around and sat next to the huge man.

"This book is human history" he then said... ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ More to come
