Welcome to the second installment of "N'Sync and BSB-Lost and Found" Before we begin, I just need to make a small note. This story is not a prequal to "Nick and Justin". It is a different series and will by heading in a completely new direction. As the series continues, this will be made more clear.

This story is a collaborative effort between RJ, the author of "N'Sync and RJ" and Mike, the author of "Nick and Justin." Please send comments on this series ("Lost and Found") to mikenrj@hotmail.com.

This story is not meant to imply anything about the sexuality of anybody involved in this story. It is purely fictional. That said, enjoy the story!

Justin lay in his bed, the covers pulled over his head as if trying to hide. He closed his eyes tightly as he heard Joey approach. 'Act like your asleep, act like your asleep...' Justin thought the same thing over and over in his mind. Very slowly, he felt Joey draw nearer. The light by the bed was still turned on as Justin had forgot to turn it off when he had originally gotten into the bed. Justin shook slightly as the covers he had wrapped around himself like a protective lover were slowly removed, and he couldn't do anything to stop it. He felt Joey's hand as it slid down to his lower back, right where earlier in the evening it had been injured and still later Nick had eased the pain.

"Justin, get up," Joey said as he pressed on the spot.

Justin winced and opened his eyes. He breathed heavily as Joey pressed down a little harder. "Joey, that's not a very nice massage you're giving me..." Justin said through gritted teeth.

"I saw you Justin," he said slowly. He leaned in closer. Justin could smell the stench of alcohol on his breath. "I saw you coming out of Nick's room." Justin knew that the evening was just beginning. He decided to take a chance to get Joey to calm down. He leaned up and kissed Joey on the lips. Joey started to return the kiss and could feel Justin's tongue entering his lips. Suddenly Joey pulled back, turned and spit. "What?" Justin asked with pleading in his voice.

"Don't give me 'what?' I saw you Justin." Joey did his best at mimicking Justin. Joey removed his hand from Justin's back and got up. Justin groaned a little and winced again as he rolled over.

"It was nothing Joey. We were just hanging out. You left and I went over..." Justin tried to sit up. He breathed heavily and allowed the tears to roll down his face.

"So as soon as the dad's away, the kids'll play? You were hanging out?!!? What did you guys really do," Joey yelled suddenly.

Justin looked down at the bed. "You left, he comforted me. We ate dinner. Then we watched a movie. Then I came home here to wait for you." He looked up at Joey and saw only anger in his eyes. "Joey, please, you're drunk. Go to bed. We can talk all about this in the morning." Justin pulled back the covers.

"We are going to discuss this right now -- you,..." Joey was trying to control himself but the alcohol was taking over, he voice continued as if no longer under his power. He heard his words, but couldn't believe he had said them. "you lying bitch. You slut. You whore!" Joey said with anger.

Justin froze. Justin had never felt so hurt or insulted and it felt even worse knowing it was coming from his lover, partner and friend. "Joey, we didn't do anything -- we're only friends," he said slowly as tears ran down his face. He looked again and tried to find what had made him fall in love. Where was the caring man who held him as he slept, and wiped his tears away when he cried? Where had he gone? When did he change? Or had Joey always been this way and Justin had changed? Justin cried harder and brought his hands up to his eyes. "Please can't we go to bed Joey?"

"There is no way, we're going anywhere until this is settled." Joey grabbed Justin by the arm and pulled him into the bathroom. "Wipe your eyes," he said. Joey went and sat on the bed. Justin slowly took a tissue and began to wipe his tears away. He always had treasured sex and never just fucked. He always tried to make love, but he knew what he had to do. He was still dressed like he was at Nick's. He had not gotten undressed. He removed his shirt and let his hands rub down his front as Nick had done. He undid his pants slowly and let them drop to the floor. He stood in his boxers and looked into the mirror. "This is for us. I am doing this to keep us together." He tried to pep himself up. After that he walked back out into his room. He turned and faced Joey.

"Joey, please, let's go to bed together? Please? You're too drunk to talk now. You don't even know what you're saying. If you love me, let me make love to you, please, just let's go to bed." Joey seemed to soften for a minute. He looked over at Justin who was pleading silently with his eyes. Joey looked over his lover's body. He felt saddened for his actions earler. He looked at his lips. They were pouting as short breaths escaped from between them.

The more Joey looked at Justin, however, the more he distrusted his words. "You are a slut. You did have sex with him, like you want to have sex with me now! You did, didn't you," he said slowly. Justin looked shocked.

"Joey, please. I did not have sex with him. You're too drunk to know what-" Joey's hand made contact across Justin's face, as his flat hand slapped him. Justin lurched to the side and finally fell onto the bed in excruciating pain. Joey looked down at him.

"You see what you made me do! I only wanted to talk to you! Why did you tempt me? Why couldn't you just talk to me?" Joey started to cry as he spoke. Finally he stopped and ran over to where Justin was. He picked Justin up and held him in his arms. "I'm sorry baby," he said. He repeated these words over and over as he rocked Justin slowly. Justin merely lay limp in his arms and cried. Joey could see he was not getting a response. "I'm gonna leave now Justin; it's for the best," Joey said slowly. Justin merely kept crying. Joey laid him carefully back down on the bed, trying his best not to hurt his back anymore. He pulled the covers over him and kissed his cheek. "I'll be back in the morning," he said as he walked towards the door. Tears streamed down his face as he looked over at Justin.

Justin lay shivering on the bed, the blankets being pulled tighter around him like Justin was building an imaginable lover to protect him from the pain. Joey let the tears fall from his face as he watched. "I'm so sorry," he said again. He walked out of the room and closed the door behind him. He leaned against it and sighed. "What did I do?" he asked himself quietly, "How can I fix it?". He began to sob loudly as he ran down the hall towards the elevator.

Two figures could be seen in the dark. Moans of passionate love making could be heard throughout the room. Everything was as peaceful as possible and as surreal as ever. Nick's face could be seen at the head of the bed. Nick's face showed the enjoyment of his love making. His lover was not known by onlookers.

"Oh, that feels, no, don't stop. Yeah, oh..." Nick was lost in ecstasy. The door to the room flew open and a dark figure was standing in the doorway. He started to move towards the bed "I'm here for you, Nick..." the unknown figure started to moan out, but then saw the act in progress.

"NICK! What are you doing?" He yelled. As the figure turned to leave the room, Nick looked over at him and started to cry out. "Don't leave me, come back here, I want you."

The other lover was now apparent. Brian's head appeared out from the covers. "What are you talking about Nick? I thought it was us. You and me. Frick and Frack."

"No I don't want you anymore, I have him, I want him, get out. Please." Nick whispered towards Brian in a stern voice as he rolled and reached out for this darkened lover. Brian was pushed to the edge of the bed by this new lover and Nick's actions. As the new lover leaned down to kiss Nick his face became clear. Justin's face was inching towards Nick. They were almost kissing. Their lips parted and tongues about to touch. Brian looked in horror. "No Nick. Don't do this." Too late the lovers were laying on top of each other about to enjoy their kiss.

"NO!" Brian yelled as he shot up in bed. He was soaked with sweat. He looked quickly around the room, but soon saw that his vision had only been a dream. He sighed and continued to breathe heavily. He slowly began to calm down again. "No, it can't be. I can't be losing him. What am I saying, I never had him..." Brian's mumbles were interrupted by talking in the hall and then solid crying. "What's that noise?", he asked himself as he got out of bed. He pulled on a fluffy white robe and walked to his door. As he opened it, he saw Joey run by and jump into an elevator, crying all the way. The hallway was now silent except for distant and muffled tears. He walked out into the hallway and followed these sounds of muffled crying to where they came from, Justin's room. He stopped outside the room. His stomach dropped when he realized where he was. "It is the enemy," he laughed slightly. 'He sounds really hurt, not just a stubbed toe. Do I try to talk to him? Do I leave him? Do I chance Nick finding him?,' he asked himself these questions silently. After a moment of reflection and many loud sobs from inside, he decided he may as well try. He knocked quietly on the door. There was no answer. He knocked again a bit louder. Finally he heard the sounds of footsteps and muffled crying. Justin slowly opened the door. Justin asked as he opened the door innocently, "Nick? Oh hey..." His eyes were badly swelled from crying and his face was a little red. Brian felt his heart take a beat at that name.. "No, um its me, I was just, um, hi Justin."

Justin simply stood there and looked at Brian. After staring at him for a moment, he began to cry again as he turned back into the room. Brian took another look at him. "This kid is a mess," he said to himself. He walked into the room and shut the door behind him. He walked over to where Justin was now sitting; on the floor with a blanket around his shoulders. Brian sat down next to him and placed an arm cautiously over Justin's shoulder. Justin leaned his head down and placed it on Brian's shoulder. Brian held him a little tighter as he let Justin cry it out. "Just cry now Justin. Get it all out of your system." He held Justin as he kept crying. After about fifteen minutes, Justin's sobbing died down. "Now, want to tell me what all of this is about?"

Justin sighed heavily. He turned his head and looked at Brian. "Well, in case you didn't notice, we kind of had a fight."

Brian smiled. "Yea, I figured as much." He looked at Justin's cheek suddenly, which had a bright red hue to it. "He hit you didn't he?" Justin merely looked down as more tears sprung to his eyes. Brian pulled him in for another hug. Justin accepted but quickly regained his composure.

"He was drunk. He didn't know what he was doing, and he only slapped me. It was totally my fault, I--I--I deserved it," he said quickly. Brian shook his head and sighed loudly.

"Listen, there is nothing you could have done to deserve that, and because he was drunk doesn't mean he can hit you either! Look, do you love him Justin?"

Justin stopped where he was. "I used to think I would walk to the ends of the earth, bare footed, just to make him happy. Now I'm not so sure I would walk to the 7Eleven." He sighed and laughed a little bit. He tried to stand, but the pain in his back kept him where he was. Brian noticed this, and wished he could help.

"I have an idea. Get on the bed," Brian said as he stood. He noticed Justin wince. "Very slowly." Justin tried to smile and slowly got onto the bed. "Lie on your stomach," Brian instructed.

"You might have told me that before I got onto my back," Justin said with a laugh. Brian smiled and walked to the bathroom. He turned the water on as hot as he could and took a towel. He carefully placed a towel in the sink and watched as the steam rose. After a minute he carefully removed the towel and wrung it out. He carried it over to where Justin was laying.. Justin made a small noise as Brian touched his bare back, but Brian quickly hushed him.

"This could hurt for a second, but after that it will feel great," Brian assured him.

"Just like sex," Justin joked. Brian looked at him and smiled awkwardly.

"Exactly like sex." With that he placed the steaming towel on Justin's flesh. Justin jumped a little. "Just wait a second." Justin cringed but stayed where he was. After a few seconds, he adjusted to the temperature and it actually felt quite good. Brian massaged his back gently through the towel. Justin moaned.

"That feels really great," Justin said, his eyes closed.

"What were you guys fighting about? If you don't mind me asking that is," Brian said as he continued the massage.

"Well, Joey left earlier tonight, got drunk and when he came home he saw me leaving Nick's room a little while ago. In his state he got the wrong -- OW -- idea -- OW!" Justin yelled as Brian pushed a little too hard. Brian had momentarily left the room in his mind and was focused on the idea that he was in Nick's room tonight. Justin's scream brought him back.

"Oh sorry," Brian said quickly. "I'll be more gentle." He continued the massage, but now no longer cared as much as he did. He figured that if he was to stay any longer he had to know. "So, do you like Nick?" He closed his eyes and waited for the answer.

Justin was set back a bit, but answered anyway. "I like Nick a lot as a friend," Justin said. He thought he heard Brian sigh. "As for anything besides that...I really don't know. I don't think there is anything besides friends."

Brian liked this news. He knew that there might still be a chance. He hoped in his heart there would be a chance.

Lance was walking around in the lobby. This was not new to him, ever since he was a boy, he could not sleep when stressful things occurred. He was just swinging by the clock next to the elevators.

"Three hours. Why can't I just sleep for these three hours. This isn't helping me you know..." He tried to complain to himself, trying to make him tired. He started to move on and Joey can bursting into him from the elevators.

"Hey, what are you doing up so late?" Lance was shocked to see a fellow band member up.

"Oh, just going to go think," Joey said as he tried to compose himself.

"Everything ok? You look like you've been crying a little."

"Well Justin and I had a fight to end all fights tonight. I don't know anymore."

"Really?!? I mean, really?" Lance tried to quiet his excitement.

"You seem happy to hear that," Joey said as he looked at Lance suspiciously.

"It's the caffeine, 5 cups can do that to you - worse than prozac," Lance said quickly, trying to cover his mistake.

"Ah, ok then, I guess. Anyway, we had a bad time and so I am off to think."

"Well, you let me know if I can do anything for you."

"Thanks buddy. See you later."

Lance continued past the elevators and promised himself only one more lap.

Brian awoke next to Justin on the bed. It was now 6am. Brian pulled his arm away and left the room quietly, checking to make sure Justin had not awoken yet.

Justin blinked his bloodshot eyes once. He hadn't slept yet. He was now once again left alone wondering when the pain would begin again and when would it end. He contemplated going down to J.C.'s room, but decided he wouldn't. J.C. didn't need anymore problems right now. Justin got up slowly, pulled the bed together slightly, to make it look more comfortable at least and he went to the bathroom. He took a hot shower which washed off the dirt, the grime, took away his pain and cleaned his mind. He pulled on a new pair of boxers and looked at himself in the mirror. Except for the bloodshot eyes he didn't look bad at all. He went back to the bed and crawled in and collapsed. He slept like a log, dreaming a strange dream.

His dream made him toss and turn. He no longer was silent and he started to talk in his sleep. "No. Don't. That hurts! Stop it, I said no. I said NO! Wait!" He shot upright and was sitting in bed. Standing in front of him was Joey, completely naked. With a tray of food and a note on the top of the closed dish.

"Good morning, my love." Joey had taken the evening to think and plan. Justin noticed something different about him, he was acting like the old Joey, the one he loved. Justin still was very cautious.

Joey sat down on the bed next to Justin and placed the tray down next to them. "Words can never explain my hurt and pain for what I did last night. Because of that, I can only say I am sorry, and that I hope you will believe me when I say I don't want to do anything ever to lose you or fight with you again. I promise Curly." Joey had plain sincerity and humility in his face and eyes.

Justin hadn't been called Curly by Joey since right before the fighting had begun. Justin didn't know what to feel or say or do. He was overcome with emotions and feelings.

"Joey I--"

"No Justin, no talking right now, please. I know we have to talk, and I want to. But right now, we need to be together and not let anything interrupt us."

"I just ... ok."

Justin slid down a bit and let Joey feed him slowly and lovingly. He would give Justin a bite and then kiss him. This continued until everything was gone from the plate. Joey and Justin found themselves in a passionate kiss. Justin had his tongue entwined in Joey's mouth. Joey and Justin were in heaven again.

The phone rang. Joey sighed and picked up the phone.

"Hello? Ok, thank you... OK, so what do you say to you and me finishing this in the shower?"

Justin smiled and they both went to the bathroom hand in hand.

Nick awoke as the sun beamed in through his balcony window. He had not closed it since last night. He enjoyed what happened. He didn't know he had feelings like that for Justin. The two of them had always been the kids of the groups and hung around with each other, but he never had given it any thought. He felt strange about the previous night's events, and after Justin had left he sat their in the same position on the bed for hours, just looking blankly at the wall. He had tried to watch tv or read his book, but he couldn't get his mind off of what had happened. Justin and him kissed. Could something be happening? He didn't know the answer, but he did know it was time to get ready.

After his shower he put on a pair of khaki cargo shorts and a loose t-shirt. As he was about to open the door, he saw a yellow piece of paper folded on the floor. On the top of the paper was his name written, and on the inside was a note.

Nick -

Thank you so much for being there for me. I appreciate everything you do, and I think your cute too. Just a note to let you know I am thinking about you.

Signed, anonymous

Nick looked at the note and was shocked. His first thought was immediately that it had to be Justin, didn't it. He opened the door, put the note in his pocket and was going to knock on Justin's door. He looked down the hallway and the only ones walking around where Brian and AJ at the other end of the hallway near the elevators.

"Hey Nick! Come on!"

"OK AJ, I'll be there in a sec!"

The two disappeared into the elevator. Nick walked up to the door and lifted his hand to knock. He was about to strike the door when he heard laughing. His heart sunk slightly. He figured he wouldn't bother anyone now. He turned and quickly went towards the elevators.

He started to talk to himself as he entered the elevator. 'Why am I disappointed? Justin is in a relationship currently and I should be happy, cause he is willing to make it work. It sounds like Joey and Justin have worked out their differences. I hope it works for them. I don't know. Why am I so upset?'

He exited and found the rest of the group waiting around. Brian and AJ saw Nick and walked over to him.

"Took you long enough." AJ always had a way of summing things up that everyone liked.

"Well, I had to take care of some unfinished business."

"Did everything go as you had hoped?" Brian asked eagerly.

"Um, I think everything went the way it should have, for it to be the best."

"Oh, ok. Well if you think so, then so do I, cause I am there for you, you know that right?" Brian's voice was filled with a little bit more joy, but no one picked up on this.

Joey was finishing up in the bathroom as Justin sat on the edge of the bed next to the tray. He was overflowing with joy. After this morning he knew that Joey still loved him, and that he found once again why he had fallen in love with Joey.

Justin finished the last piece of bacon and put the lid back on the tray. He then saw the note that was there earlier. He opened the note and read the inside message. His heart sunk momentarily and then a pout overcame his face. He was confused, he no longer knew what to do exactly. He read the note again.

Justin -

I just wanted to say that if you need anything, I am here for you. You always know that, I am just a few feet away and I care for you.

Anonymous.

Was it Nick? Justin was unsure, but one thing was. He had to work on Joey and him now.

Everyone was downstairs and Justin saw Nick as he and Joey came out of the elevator. Joey leaned down and whispered into his ear.

"I am sorry for everything. I don't want to be an ass anymore and I love you."

Justin giggled softly. He once again was confused about everything, but decided to say thank you, to whom he knew was Mr. Anonymous.

Justin walked over to Nick. Nick saw him coming and cheered up at this sight. Justin came over, sat down next to him and spoke to him.

"I want to thank you for everything you did and I am glad that everything happened exactly as it had. I appreciate knowing I have someone to go to when I need them, and that they are only a few feet away."

Justin stood up and joined the rest of NSYNC as they walked out the door and into the limos for the day of tour promotion.

Nick beamed and ran off with the rest of BSB. He ran up to AJ and struck up a conversation.

"Hey AJ, here is an off the wall question for you. How do you find out if someone may feel the same as you do?"

"OH MY, my little Nickie has a crush. Well if it was me, I would plan a "surprise" dinner and then bring them over once everything is ready and say MY OH MY look at this and see where it takes you."

"You know AJ, most of the time you give shitty advice, but I think you have nailed it this time. Thanks."

AJ turned to Kevin and started to sound like a country father: "Oh darlin' aren't we proud? Our little one is growing up and sprouting legs of his own, oh no, I don't know what to do..." They both cracked up and as Nick sat down in the limo, his brain was already churning ideas for what he wanted to do.
