 Lucian the Vampire Slayer-

Chapter 6- The White Room

I woke up chained in a dark room, yet again.

"Hello! Hello?" I shouted, but nobody answered. I tried pulling the chains, trying to break free, but nothing worked. Could this really being happening right now? I have no idea what's happened to Spike, did they leave him to die? What about Conner, laying on the floor of my bedroom, bleeding...Did anyone find him? What do all these crazy people want with me? Alright, snap out of it Lucian!

"I've got to think! I've got to get out of here!" I said to myself.

"Your not going any where!" I heard a woman's voice, then the lights were turned on, and there stood Lila Morgan.

"Oh give me a break, not you again!" I said chagrinned.

"What's the matter, your not happy to see me?" she asked coyly.

"Sorry but no, I'm not into old skanky ladies, who chain me up to have their way with me." I retorted.

"Now is that any way to talk to your capture? Your father never spoke to me that way." she said.

"That's cause you never captured my father, he'd a killed you first. Which I'm sure he's going to do the second he gets his hands on you."

"If he knew where you were at, but he doesn't. They'll find out that Amy had you, but the trail will run cold after that. They'll never know I have you, no one is coming to save you Lucian, I'm the only friend your going to have. So we can do this, the easy way, or the hard way. It's your choice!" she said.

"Do what? Just what is it that you want from me? You crazy lady from hell!" I shouted.

"I'd be mad if that wasn't the truth, but I have been to hell, quite nice this time of year. Anyway, don't you know why Amy kidnapped you, or what's happening back home with your family?" she asked.

"What are you talking about, what's happening with my family?" I demanded.

"Why are all the good guys so dumb? It would seem Amy had her son lower the defenses on the castle, and they're being attacked from all sides. It would also seem that she has Willow trapped in the same place as Spike, where we found you. It looks like the Scooby gang is dealing with a bad run of luck." she smirked. I tried pulling at the chains again and again, but nothing.

"Damn you, let me out of this, I need to help them!" I shouted.

"There is really nothing you can do, even if I were to let you free, who would you go save? Your parents? Your brother? Spike and Willow?"

Who would I go save, I couldn't be in two places at one time! But the logical thing to do, would be to go save Willow and Spike, and have Willow open a portal to the Castle. What am I thinking about, I need to get free before I can save anyone!

"You still haven't said what you want from me?" I asked.

"Everything seems to be centered around you Lucian. The Prophecy, everyone trying to get their hands on you, all your new love interests. I'm pretty shocked Spike of all people, well he isn't actually a person, he's a Vampire. You must get that from your mothers side of the family." she started.

"Doesn't anyone know how to get to the point? Can you stop beating around the bush, maybe I can give you whatever it is you want, then you can let me go, and I can save the people I love?" I begged.

"Silly boy, you can't even save yourself. You will do what I want you do, I'm not worried about that. As for the what, the Orb of Saran, you're the only one that can use it, and I will get you to use it."

"The Orb of Saran, I forgot about that. The girl down in your basement, she told me to seek it. Damn it, how could I have forgotten?" I said more to myself, then to her. I'm such a fool, if I had listen and done what she asked, I could have saved my family the trouble, we would have been ahead in this fight, now, now they're all in danger, and I'm stuck here.

"Would'a, Could'a, Should'a...but you didn't..." She said.

"What does this Orb do?" I asked.

"Now that's the 24 million dollar question." she said.

"You don't know do you?" I asked, but she didn't answer. She didn't know.

"You people truly are mad, you play with fire, and what think your never going to get burned? If you don't know what it does, aren't you afraid of unleashing something, that just might kill you all as well?" I shouted.

"That's the price of being evil kid! In my case I've already died once, a second time wont stop me from coming back. But don't worry your pretty little head over it, I've got people working on it, finding out what it does. The only thing left to do now, is get the orb. You can hang around, if you'd like." she laughed.

"That was lame, even for you." I said. Hang around, I'm going to get out of the chains if it's the last thing I do.

Meanwhile-

The Castle-

"I hope Conner and Gun have found Giles and Faith by now!" Angel said.

"Me too." Buffy said as she slayed a demon coming at her.

The battle waged on, demons coming in on all sides. The slayers all fighting for their lives. The ground began to shake, as if an earth quake was taking place.

"Did somebody call for back up!?" Dawn shouted.

"Dawn I could kiss you!" Buffy yelled back. Dawn was a giant, Willow still hadn't found a way to return her to normal size. {Authors Note. Check out Buffy the Vampire Slayer Comic book for details on why Dawn is a Giant...}

"Sorry it took me so long, but I'm here to help." Dawn said as she began swatting at demons killing them easily.

"Um why is Dawn a giant?" Angel asked.

"It's a long story, and if we live through this I'll fill you in." Buffy said.

Meanwhile-

Outside the room Spike was being held-

"Go ahead already, stake me! What are you waiting for, you bloody bastards!" Spike shouted, as two men stood beating Spike to a bloody pulp. Blood dripping down his face, and his bare chest.

"You ready to be turned to dust, Vampire? Cause, I'm just getting started. I haven't heard a blood curling scream, from you yet." the man said, as he dug a knife deep into Spike's chest. Spike held back a scream, by grinding his teeth together.

"Why don't you try that on me? Or are you afraid to hit a girl?" Faith said walking in the door. The men turned around, and went to grab her, but Faith jumped up into the air, kicking both men in the face knocking them back.

"Save some for me!" Gun shouted, grabbing a guy off the ground and lifting him up. He began punching the guy in the face.

"You think you might want to get me out of these chains, some time this year?" Spike asked.

"Sure blonde, just give me one second!" Faith said, while delivering the final blow, knocking out a guy. She then turned and began ripping the chains out of the wall, freeing Spike. Gun and Faith catching Spike's arm and holding him up.

"They really did a number on you!" Gun said.

"Some guys got Lucian!" Spike said moaning.

"Lucian was here?" Gun asked.

"Sergio brought him here, he was disguised as me at first. He went to kill me, when these guys appeared, knocked him out and took Lucian. Willow is somewhere down here as well."

"Giles did a locator spell, and found Willow. He and Conner we're headed to help her, when we came here." Faith explained.

"Shouldn't you be out there looking for Lucian? Do you even know who has him? He could be dead right now, and you're here rescuing me!" Spike shouted.

"Easy tiger! He'll be okay. We need Willow to locate Lucian, and to help Buffy and Angel back at the Castle. They're being attacked." Faith tried to calm him.

"Then let's go help Giles and Conner, we need to get to Lucian." Spike demanded.

Meanwhile-

"What's the matter Willow, can't deal with little ole me?" Amy taunted.

"Oh, I can deal with you, and I will." Willow said, conjuring an energy ball and throwing it at Amy, hitting her in the chest sending her flying back against the wall.

"Is that all you've got? It doesn`t seem like your heart is in this fight." Amy said annoyed.

"While you thought, that you had everything under control here, I was actually playing you. I've just been buying some time, till Giles arrived. See I've been reading your mind, yes all those thoughts that you were trying to conceal. Now I know the truth, you brought Warren back, of all the sick people to save, you save Warren. Sergio, is the son of you and Warren, showing you how to sick people can create a monster. Plus, I've learned a few things, that even you've forgotten. Which will come in handy. Oh Giles! Please come in!" Willow said, gloating. Giles and Conner enter through a magical door created by Willow.

"You think this is over? You think your so smart, figuring out a few things. Maybe...Maybe I wanted you to find those things out. Did you ever think of that? Either way, you've lost Lucian, and most likely Buffy as well...You're going down Rosenburg...I promise you that, remember, there is more than one way to skin a cat." Amy said, as she waved her hand over head and disappeared in a cloud of smoke.

"Perfect timing." Willow smiled.

"I was certain you could handle yourself just fine, and from the looks of it, I was right." Giles said, as he hugged Willow.

"It's good to see you Giles, I've missed you. Conner, wow, you've grown up. So Spike and Lucian are in the building, have you rescued them yet?" Willow asked.

"Faith and Gun, went to rescue Spike, but Lucian is no where to be found." Giles said somberly.

"Then what are we waiting for, let's find him." Willow said, as they walked out to meet Faith and Gun.

"Spike, you look terrible, are you okay?" Willow asked.

"Nothing a little payback won't fix. Some guys came in and took Lucian, now do a little mambo, jumbo, and let's get him." Spike said excitedly.

Willow closed her eyes, and then open them, and her eyes turned full black.

"Open a door way, let me see, finding the one, I long to set free!" Willow chanted.

She waved her hands in the air, a red glowing mist began to form in the air in front of her.

"What's she doing?" Conner asked.

"She's creating a mystical map, that will lead us to Lucian." Giles explained.

"Will it work?" Conner asked, curious.

"I'm Willow, of course it will work. Now everyone shut up, I need to concentrate." Willow said annoyed.

Meanwhile-

WolfRam&Heart-

I tried pulling out the chains, but they were unbreakable. Even against my Slayer strength, they must have some magical property to them.

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! I really suck at this superhero thing! I seem to get kidnapped, more often than kicking ass." I said to myself.

"Are you whining?" A voice whispered.

"Who's there? Show yourself!" I shouted.

"Are you scared little boy?" came the voice again, taunting me.

"Not scared, just annoyed with all the games. So what do you want, or are you going to bore me to death, with your parlor tricks?" I said angrily.

"Not so bright, not so bright at all. I gave you everything you needed to be ahead in this game, yet you ignored everything I told you. You've done nothing but dig yourself a hole, and buy the bad guys time to get ahead in this game. Why?" the voice asked.

"You're the girl, from the white room! Why you ask! I wasn't ready for all of this, I didn't want any of it. Everything was happening so fast, I was thrown into a world I never knew existed. To be totally honest, I was just plain scared. I'm sorry I didn't listen before, I'm sorry I wasted time. I accept who I am now, I accept my destiny now. I embrace it, I'm ready to live it. Please, give me another chance, let me make things right. I realize now how important what my family does is, so please I'm asking you to give me a chance." I begged.

"Simmer down now boy! We've got big plans for you, so don't worry your pretty little head. Wouldn't want you to get premature worry lines. Now, I want you to do exactly as I say. Close your eyes and count to three, then open them." the voice whispered.

I did as the voice said, and upon opening my eyes the chains were gone.

"How did you...Never mind. So, how do I get out of here?" I asked.

"I'm going to show you the path I want you to take, inside your head. Follow it, and it will lead you to a door. Once inside, I will tell you what to do next. Now count to ten, and then go, you'll avoid all the camera's and any guards. Now go!" the voice commanded.

I counted to ten, then made my way out the door, following the path that was sent into my mind. I crept through the halls, just catching the backs of men as they walked to their destination. Creepy, that the girl from the white room knew how to make this happen.

I made it to the door and entered the room.

"Now, what?" I said into the air, feeling stupid.

"There is a key pad, on the east wall. Enter the code 6-13-6-11-6-7." the voice commanded.

The wall began to move, opening up a hidden vault door behind it. I looked around at all the relics, and books inside.

"What is all this stuff?" I asked.

"Scrolls of ancient prophecies, cursed objects, powerful magic, and so much more. But that's not why you're here. Walk straight ahead to the furthest wall from you, in the bottom left hand corner I want you to open the drawer that is third from the last." the voice ordered.

I did as she said, opening the drawer, inside was a scroll. I pulled it out.

"Is that it?" I asked.

"No! Now reach your hand to the right, there is a dagger, I want you to pick it up, turn around very quickly and throw it at your 12 O'clock." the voice ordered.

I grabbed the dagger, and turned around and threw it, It flew straight into the throat of a man that walked into the room, killing him.

"Thanks!" I said.

"Now quickly, more are on there way. Turn around, in the far right corner of the room, you'll see a glass container holding a large red ruby. Break through the glass and take the ruby. After that, I want you to run out of the room. Go left to the elevator, and I'll do the rest." the voice commanded.

I quickly did as I was told, as I existed the room, a bunch of guards made their way towards me. Once they saw me they began running, I turned and ran left toward the elevator. I pushed and pushed the button, the doors opened.

"Now what?" I shouted, as the guards headed toward the doors. The doors began to close as the men got closer. Right as they got to the doors, they closed. A white lit button appeared, so I pushed it. The elevator turn blindingly bright white, and then I was in the white room.

"You did good!" the little girl appeared out of this air and spoke.

"What is this stuff? I mean, what do I do with it?" I asked holding up the ruby and scroll.

"Wesley will know how to figure out the scroll, as for the ruby, you'll know what to do with it, when the time comes. Now, don't forget the Orb of Saran." she answered.

"Why are you helping me?" I asked.

"Silly boy, I already told you that." she answered, laughingly.

"But you said, your debt to my father was paid. So I don't understand?"

"I told you, we have plans for you." she answered.

"Who's the `we'" I asked.

"That's for me to know, and you to find out. Now, I'm going to open a door for you, and when you exist it, your friends will be waiting on the other side." she said as she giggled.

"Wait, please, just answer me one question. Is what you guys want from me...is it for good, or evil?"

"Now that's just the 24 million dollar question. Listen, we all have a part to play, in the grand scheme of things. For every actions, there is a reaction. For every cause, an effect. You are a piece of a larger picture, and believe it or not, regardless if we are evil or good, you are going to do what needs to be done. But when the time comes, the choice will be yours, if you will be used for good, or bad. Now go, Lila is on her way, and she is not happy. Good luck Lucian, I really mean that. I have a lot riding on your success, I want to see you win. I've enjoyed watching you all these years, and would like to watch you fulfill all that lies ahead. By the way, nice show with your brother the other night, that was really hot!" she teased.

How embarrassing.

"Er...Thanks...I think. Thanks for helping me, and being honest. I guess, I'll see you again...later?" it was more of a question, then a goodbye.

"That you will Lucian, try not to miss me to much. Goodbye for now. Now go!" she said, standing there smiling and waving to me.

A door appeared out of thin air, and just as I was about to walk through Lila appeared.

"Stop him! Why are you helping him?" Lila screamed.

"Don't worry Lila, we'll be seeing each other again. Only next time, it will be on my terms. Later bitch!" I laughed walking through the magical doorway. I appeared in the middle of the street, just as the others came walking up.

"A welcoming committee, how sweet." I teased.

"How did you...I mean...we'll there goes rescuing you. You never cease to amaze me kid!" Spike said.

"It's a long story, but we really need to get back to Buffy and Angel, they're under attack." I said urgently. Conner ran up to me and lifted me up into a big bare hug.

"I'm so glad your okay, I was so worried." he was beaming. I grabbed his head, to check out his wound, but it was already gone.

"You were so worried! I was freaking out, I left you lying on the floor knocked out. I thought you were dead! I'm so glad your okay. I'm not ready to lose the brother I just found." I said hugging him again.

"Willow, if you will!" Giles said.

"By the way, that's Faith, and Giles." Conner introduced.

"Nice to meet you, I've heard a lot about you." I said smiling.

"Hold on tight, this is going to be a bumpy ride." Willow said. Next thing I knew, we were whipped through some sort of portal. The pull on my body was so intense, when we finally arrived outside of the castle, I was left staggering, and felt like I was about to puke.

"You okay little brother?" Conner asked concerned.

"I'll be fine, but I'm sure I don't want to do that again, anytime soon."

"Come on gang, we've got friends that need help!" Giles said.

We made our way into Castle, the place was turned inside out. Bodies laying on the ground, wounded Slayers everywhere. My heart fell, worrying that my parents wouldn't be okay. I wasn't ready to lose them either.

"Conner, we have to find my mom, and our Dad!" I said panicked.

"Let's go!" Conner said, grabbing my hand. I turned and looked at Spike with pleading eyes. He winked at me and nodded his head, giving me his approval. Conner and I fought our way through the chaos, till we saw who we were looking for, to our happy surprise.

"Lucian thank God, your alright! Conner thank you for bringing my son back!" Buffy said, relieved.

"I didn't do anything, he was free before we got there. I have no idea how, but he saved his own ass." Conner said, knocking out to demons with a round kick.

"Son, what do you mean?" Angel asked.

"I'll explain later, I don't think right now is the time!" I said, stating the obvious.

"We're being overwhelmed, so many Slayers are dead. If we only knew what they wanted." Buffy said.

"I know what they're after, the Orb of Saran. It's here in the Castle somewhere. That's why they took me, cause I'm the only one that can work it." I explained.

"The Orb of Saran? Never heard of it, how do they know it's here?" Buffy asked, staking two vampires.

"There's so much more I need to tell you, but we've got to end this first." after saying this, I looked around the room. Watching everyone fight for their lives, with or without realizing they were fighting for me. The guilt filled me up, all the dead Slayers, all the violence. I wanted so bad for this to end, I wanted these demons out of here. I wanted to save the rest of the Slayers, my friends, my family. It was right there in that moment, that I knew what needed to be done. Something just clicked inside me, the girl from the white room gave me everything I needed to end this. I would forever be grateful to her, and knew that I owed her now.

"Willow!" I shouted.

"What's wrong Lucian?" Buffy asked, nervously.

"I know what needs to be done! But I need Willow, to do it." I explained.

"You called!" Willow said, appearing next to me, out of thin air.

"I need you to connect the minds of all the Slayers and our friends, with mine." I said quickly.

"Why?" Willow asked.

"Please Willow, can you just trust me?" I said, annoyed.

"Yes, I'm sorry. One party line, coming up!" Willow said, closing her eyes.

I knew it worked, causing I could feel the connection within my mind.

"Slayers, hear me, this is Lucian, Willow has connected our minds. I know how to end this, but it will be a danger to us all, if you don't do as I say." I spoke with a confidence, I didn't know I had. But I also knew, it was time to man up. To be the Slayer I was meant to be, to be the true son of Buffy and Angel, and live up to the standards they have set.

I pulled the red ruby out of my pocket. It began to glow, I could feel the power within it rise.

"I need you to trust me now, and this will all be over. I'm about to unleash a power, that will destroy our enemies, and remove this danger. But you must all close your eyes, you cannot look into the light, that will burn this scourge that threatens our home. I need you all to focus your energy to me, will me your power now. On the count of three, one, two, three. Now!" I shouted.

With our minds linked as one, the Slayers, my friends, and family closer their eyes. I held up the ruby, and using the power willed to me, I unleashed the power within the ruby. The whole Castle began to glow bright red. It was like a fire began burning within my very soul, and began emanating out of my body. Suddenly the screams of demons could be heard all around us, as the fire consumed them destroying them where they stood. The earth below us began to quake, as one by one there ashes were consumed into the earth.

It took so much out of me, I fell to my knees, and then collapsed on the ground.

"Lucian! Lucian!" Buffy cried out.

"D...Did...it...work?" I asked weakly.

"Yes, my beautiful boy. It worked, you saved us all. Rest now, you've earned it." Buffy said, as Angel picked my up off the ground.

"Wait...Sergio tampered with the force field that shields the Castle...You have to reverse it."

"Don't worry about that Lucian, I've got it all taken care of." Willow said, easing my worry.

"Wait, mom, dad, reach behind me, in the back of my pants is a scroll. I don't know what It is, but I know it's important. Maybe you could figure it out." my eyes were closed as I spoke, I fought to keep them open. My dad reached around me and took the scroll.

"Conner, you'll stay right?" I asked, in almost a whisper, as I fought the sleep that was about to take me over.

"I'm not going anywhere little brother, I promised you before, and I meant it." Conner promised.

"And Spike? You are the real Spike right?" I asked.

"Yes little bit! It's truly me, and I'm not going anywhere. Now get some sleep." Spike ordered. With that I gave in to sleep.

The Operations room-

"The defenses are up, the Castle is once again hidden. This time more powerful than before. I'm good, if I do say so myself." Willow gloated.

"Your son...I still can't believe he's your son...but anyway, your son is very impressive." Giles said.

"He takes after his old man!" Angel teased.

"Now that we know Amy and Warren are working together, we go after them. We know what everyone is looking for, but we need to know what exactly this Orb of Saran does, and what Lucian's role is in it." Buffy started.

"Wesley is working on the scroll as we speak. I just wonder where he got it from, or who gave it to him." Angel said.

"He had to have gotten it, inside WolfRam&Heart. As to how, I do not know." Giles said.

"We have a lot of questions, that only he can answer. We can sit her and speculate all we want, but till he wakes up, we're just going to be going in circles. So unless you guys need me for anything else, I need to crash myself." Faith said.

"Faith, thank you, for today." Buffy said attentively.

"No problem B! Good looking kid you got, he reminds me of you. Later guys!" Faith said, walking out of the room.

"How did he know how to use the ruby? He didn't know how when we came here, he figured it out after. But how? We don't even know the effect it will have on him, it took everything out of him to use it." Buffy asked.

"It caused him pain, and a lot of it. Pain is the one thing that unites all living creatures. He took that pain, and turned it on the demons, killing them where they stood." Giles explained.

"You know what that ruby is?" Angel asked.

"Of course he does, he's Giles!" Willow said.

"Thanks, but I only know a little. That ruby was lost centuries ago, it belonged to the coven in Ireland. They created it in a time that Ireland was overwhelmed by demons, it can only be used once every 100 years. I have no idea how it came to be in Los Angeles. Your son truly is remarkable to have figure out how to use the ruby, on his own." Giles said, taking off his glasses and wiping them clean.

"There's a but in there, what is it Giles?" Buffy asked.

"There is just so much we don't know about him, why the powers that be hid him away all these years. What his true purpose is, his true destiny. Your son is more powerful than any of us, could possibly imagine." Giles began.

"Okay, I still don't here the but, in there." Buffy said.

"I'm just worried Buffy, and tired, I think I'll take Faiths Queue, and get some sleep." Giles said leaving the room.

"Okay, that was weird. It's not like Giles, to not speak his mind." Buffy said.

"Although, Buffy, if you remember correctly, when it comes to people you love, Giles has learned to stop himself from speaking his mind. Remember the time with Spike, and when Glory was after Dawn? Maybe Giles has learned his lesson." Willow stated.

"Your right, and if he knows what's good for him, he wouldn't even go there with my Son." Buffy said angrily.

"It's a moot point, he's our son, and we'd never let anything happen to him." Angel said.

"Cause we've done a fabulous job already? He's been kidnapped under our noses how many times now? God, Angel, we really need to be better at this parent stuff. We're suppose to protect our kid, seems like he's doing all the protecting." Buffy cried.

"Buffy, we've done the best we can do so far, at least I think. Lucian has proven himself time and time again, he's handling himself better than either of us did when we first came into our powers. Maybe...Maybe these things that have happen to him, are preparing him for what he has to face. When Wesley deciphers the scroll, we'll know more. Buffy, don't worry, we'll do better from now on. He's here and he's safe, we've got time." Angel said comforting her.

"I hope your right Angel, I hope your right." Buffy said.

Lucian's room-

I knew I was alive, cause I had a pounding headache. I could feel a body next to mine, and fingers running through my hair.

"You stayed!" I said excitedly.

"You really didn't think I'd leave you little brother? You had us all pretty worried." Conner said, kissing my forehead.

"I tend to do that, but I'm alright right. Is everyone else okay?" I asked.

"Everyone is fine, like I said just worried about you. You did good today, I'm really impressed." Conner smiled.

"Conner, we need to talk." I began.

"I thought we we're talking?"

"We are...it's about last night." my faced turned red as I spoke.

"It was fun wasn't it? We should definitely do it again, when your better of course." he said smiling.

"Conner, don't start with me." I laughed.

"You know you love it." he said cockily.

"It was a lot of fun, and I feel closer to you, than I have to anyone in my life. It's just hard to separate my emotions. I'm not used to feeling all the feelings I'm experiencing." I started to explain.

"I don't understand what your trying to say to me." he said confused.

"It's just well, my life has been pretty messed up. I've been alone, lonely, scared, beaten, abused...Sorry...But it's true, and I guess those things have made me stronger, at the time it just hurt. I've never been with a man, never been with anyone. I've been so scared...scared of who I am, what I want. That what those bastard men did to me all my life, that their words were true.

That I'm nothing more than a faggot, and that it would be a bad thing for me to be. But messing around with you yesterday, it just felt right, it felt good to act on that. To show myself that being gay isn't a bad thing, although I'm sure most people don't have sex with their brothers on the first time.

But I'm glad it was with you, I'm glad it was with someone who would still be forced to love me the next day." I laughed, as he did to.

"Lucian, I'm sorry about your life...I'm sorry you've had it so hard, I'm sorry I had it so hard. We're a couple of screwed up guys, but one thing is for sure, we'll always have each other. I promise you, I'll always be right here for you." Conner said hugging me.

"Thank you big brother, that means a lot to me. I guess I'm just scared, I can't have feelings for you, more than being my brother. When it would be so easy to fall in love with you, and we know we get along, but that would be, just to weird. I'm not saying we can't mess around again, cause I'd love that. But it can't ever be more than that, and really I'm in love with someone, or I think I am. I just don't know how he feels about me, and that's really the point of this whole conversation." I said, annoyed that I over stated everything.

"You better believe we're going to mess around again, and again, and again. But I agree it would be weird, for it to be more than that. Like I said before, we're pretty messed up guys. But I want you to be happy, and I want you to be in love. Whoever this guy is, just talk to him. Tell him how you feel, and if he feels the same way great. If not, just move on. You're a hot guy, and trust me, there will be lines around the block to get with you, I know I'd be in that line, if I weren't your brother.

So are you going to tell me, who this mystery man is?" he asked.

"I don't know, you might not like this. Maybe I shouldn't say anything..." I started.

"Maybe you shouldn't say anything about what?" Angel asked, walking into the room with Buffy.

"Yes, what are you talking about boys?" Buffy asked smiling.

Conner and I looked at each other, my face turning ten shades of red.

"Lucian and I were talking about what Sergio did to him. Lucian didn't want to tell you, cause he was afraid you would go try to kill him, and he was just worried about you Dad." Conner said, thinking quickly.

"Lucian, I'm going to get all of them one way or the other. Nobody messes with my family, and gets away with it. These people are dangerous, and they want you. I'm going to bring them down, if it's the last thing I do." Angel said angrily.

"Correction, we're going to take them down, as a family!" Buffy said.

"Does that include me?" Conner asked.

"Conner, why would you even ask that, you're my son, and Lucian's brother. We're a family, all of us." Angel said, walking over and putting a hand on each of our shoulders.

"Conner, I know we don't know each other very well, and I'd really like to change that. I'm new to this whole mother thing, and I can't even say that I'm doing anything right. But I want you to know, you can always count on me for anything. I really do consider you family." Buffy said, hugging the both of us.

"Okay, I'm starting to feel like the Brady Bunch." I laughed.

"Okay, so Lucian, do you want to tell us what happened?" Angel asked.

And so I began to answer his question, explaining everything that happened. Everything the girl from the white room had told me to do, and told me about. I could see the panic on their faces, which caused a shudder to run down my spine. We're they not used to dealing with these types of situation, or we're they feeling that I wouldn't make it through the road ahead.

"You guys are starting to scare me...don't you think I'm strong enough to make it through whatever they throw at me?" I asked.

"No, Lucian, it's not you. Obviously you can handle yourself, being taken and making it back proves that. What we're worried about is, what does the girl from the white room want with you. And who is she talking about when she says, we? Who are they? That's what we're worried about." Angel explained.

"Angel, you've had experience with the girl in the white room. Is she good, or evil?" Buffy asked.

"Ultimately she's suppose to be evil, but after meeting me, she said she saw something, something that she liked. I always assumed I was entertainment to her. I tried to save her life one time, and she never forgot that. She's helped me, helped Lucian, I just don't know what her ultimate agenda is. I just don't know..." he said more to himself, then to us.

"Dad, it's going to be alright. I really believe that she wants me to succeed. The only thing is, whatever's coming, the choice of good or evil, rests in my hands. I'm the son of Angel, and Buffy Summers, with genes like that inside me, how can I go wrong." as I spoke the words, I knew in my heart that they were true. Yet, Buffy and Angel looked at each other with a panic I didn't understand.

"What? What is it? Why are you guys looking at each other like that?" I demanded.

"Lucian, it's nothing...I mean, we're parents, this is scary stuff." Buffy said, unconvincingly.

"I'm not buying that, don't you think I can handle it? Can we really work together as a family, if you keep secrets from me?" I wasn't going to let them keep things from me anymore, I needed to know everything.

"Lucian, it's about me, and my past. You already know I wasn't always good. Even as a human, I wasn't the greatest son a father could have ever asked for. Quite frankly, my father hated me, and though I was a useless waste of space. I only became worse, after I was turned into a vampire. There are so many things I'm not proud of, so many things I never want my children to ever find out." Angel spoke, with shame written all over his face.

"But Dad, you made a choice. You could have stayed evil, but you didn't...you chose to be good, to fight for what's just. How can I go wrong, if I take after someone like you?" I asked.

"I owe that to your mother, if I'd never seen Buffy, I would never have made the right choice." Angel began.

"Angel, you did that all on your own. Lucian has it right, you made the choice yourself. Look at Conner, he also had a choice, once he got his memory back, he didn't go back down the wrong road, he made the choice to be good. Just like his father. I've always believed in you Angel, even after that first time you became Angelus again, I knew you'd come back to me, I knew you'd become Angel again. And you did, albeit I had to kill you, which was the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but you came back. You fought your way out of hell to get back to me, I've always believed in you, and I always will. If our son is half the man you are, the world is lucky to have him." Buffy said passionately.

"Buffy...I didn't know, I mean I knew you loved me, I never thought otherwise, but I never thought you felt that way about me. I never thought you loved me half as much as I love you." Angel said staring into her eyes, seeing something I could only began to imagine.

"I've never loved anyone more than you, I've denied it, I've tried to lie to you, to my friends, to myself. But it never worked, I could fool everyone, but I could never fool myself. There is no way you could ever love me, as much as I love you." Buffy said, with tears rolling down her eyes.

"You compare one tree, to a forest of trees. Buffy, I haven't felt my heart beat in over 225 years, yet when I'm around you, I feel as though my heart is beating so hard, it threatens to beat right out of my chest. These past few years without you, not seeing you, not knowing where you are, has ripped out my heart, leaving a hole that threatened to swallow me in..." He was pouring his heart out to her, and I felt guilty for not being able to leave, and give them the privacy they deserved.

"Angel, I didn't know. I had no idea, I mean I know you love me, I've always know that...I just I've been so scared to go there with you, scared that you didn't want me that way still. Angel, I..." She began.

"Just tell me one thing, are you still cookie dough, or have you become a cookie yet?" Angel asked her a question, that didn't make any sense to Conner or I.

"You remembered, I'm not cookie dough anymore, I'm a cookie, I'm a cookie.." She said excitedly.

Angel grabbed her and began kissing her with a passion, unlike anything I have ever seen before. Both Conner and I began to cheer, and clap. Buffy and Angel began to laugh.

"Sorry, I guess we could have waited for that." Angel said embarrassed.

"Please, don't apologize for a kiss that passionate. Some of us can only dream of feeling that kind of passion. I'm just glad you're my parents. Isn't it every kids dream to have his parents back together, and now I got to witness mine working towards that goal." I said excitedly.

"Thanks son!" Angel said winking at me.

"Alright, well on that note, we're going to go see what Wesley has come up with. You going to be okay?" Buffy asked.

"We'll be fine. Maybe you two should stop by your bedroom, and have a little bit of a private conversation..." I said winking.

"On that note, we really are leaving." Angel said getting up and taking Buffy by the hand, leading her out of the room. I was assuming there was more they didn't want to have to explain, so I let it go, saving the questions for another time.

"Lucian don't you know what happens to dad, if he has one moment of true happiness?" Conner asked me.

"What are you talking about?" I asked nervously, not sure if I want to hear the answer.

"When they were talking earlier, about Buffy seeing him become Angelus. She was the reason, they made love for the first time. By doing so, he reached the point of true happiness, and so Angelus was released. He tormented her, killed some of her friends. It was really bad, so bad that Buffy was left with no choice but to kill him. But at the last second, Willow cast a spell, returning Angel's soul. He became Angel, but it was to late, Buffy had to kill her, or watch the world be sucked whole. She kissed him, told him to close his eyes, and rammed a sword through his chest. Sending Dad to hell, were he eventually came back from.

The loved each other so much, but how could they be together, if truly being together meant, Angel would lose his soul, and become Angelus. So Angel made the hardest choice of his life, and left Buffy. He thought he was doing the right thing, that leaving her, he was giving her a chance to lead a normal life. To go to collage, to have a chance at a normal relationship, experience all that he could never give her. But that never stopped him from watching over her, coming to help her in her times of need. Nor did it stop her, from running to his aid.

Which she did, and that's when they had you. But all in all, the curse hasn't changed, one moment of true happiness and he become Angelus. As much as I would love for them to be together, I just don't see how they will manage it. I feel sorry for them, I wish there was something we could do." Conner explained.

My heart was breaking for them, haven't they suffered enough. Haven't they given up their lives to fight for what is right, and good. Could there be a way, and mean there is always a way.

"Conner maybe there is a way, maybe we can find a way to break the curse, and give them the chance to finally be happy. I mean have you ever seen two people more meant to be with each other, then Buffy and Angel?" I asked.

"If you knew there whole story, you would know that, there has never been a love story like theirs, one that truly deserves a happy ending." Conner answered.

"Then it's settled, we will find a way to break the curse, and leave them free to be with one another." I said excitedly.

"Wait...just hold on one second...Just how are we suppose to do that. We don't even know where to start, we don't know anything." Conner said anxiously.

"We start with Willow, and go from there. Please Conner, help me to help them. Together we can do it, we can get Buffy and Angel together." I begged, giving him my best puppy dog face.

"Fine! I'll do it for you. But let's not say anything to them, I wouldn't want them to get excited for nothing. If this doesn't pan out."

"Thank you Conner, I owe you big time." I said jumping on top of him, and kissing him on the lips.

"Hey, hey, hey now...Don't go getting me excited, I might just have to rape you this time." Conner laughed.

"I might just let you." I started, but there was a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I shouted. Spike opened the door and stood there staring at us.

"Spike!" I shouted excitedly.

"If your busy I could come back, I just wanted to check up on you." Spike said, hesitantly.

"No, please come in, have a seat. Conner and I were just finished making some plans." I said.

"It's okay, I was just heading out. I'll see you in a little while, little brother." Conner said, getting up and walking out of the room.

"So, how are you doing Spike? You look much better, are you feeling better?" I was suddenly nervous.

"I'm fine. Are you okay? You seem a little red, are you running a fever or something?" Spike asked.

Yes I was running a fever, but he was the cause.

"I'm fine, just a little hot and bothered. I get that way around you, I just can't help myself." I said, looking downward.

"I tend to have that effect of the Summers family." he teased.

"Spike? Can I ask you a question?"

"You can ask me anything." he answered.

"Spike, do you want me, the way I want you?" I asked, wanting to know, needing to know.

"It's complicated little bit."

"Spike, that's not an answer. I need to know, do you want me? Do you have feelings for me, do I make you week in the knees, the way you make me?"

"Lucian, I'm not going to lie to you. There is a connection between us, there is a gravitational pull. I worry about you, I want to protect you. I love being near you, I love the way you look at me. I love the way you make me feel so important, like I'm the center of your world. I've never had anyone that felt that intensely about me. I've always been the one feeling something for others, that never felt the same way about me.

It's just your parents, their Angel and Buffy. They'd kill me, and not just kill me, I mean, they'd make it slow and painful. And maybe there right, maybe I'd do more damage to you, then good. I just care for you so much, I don't know if I'm willing to take the chance. I'd rather be here to help you, rather than getting myself killed by your parents." he was going to go on, but I didn't want to hear anymore. I heard all I needed, he did want me. A part of him, wanted me as much as I wanted him. It was fear of what was right for me, that kept him from acting on those feelings.

"Shut up Spike! Shut up and kiss me!" I said, grabbing him and kissing him passionately.

At first he tried to pull away, but I wasn't having any of that. I held on, and kisses him again. This time he gave in, and the kiss was unlike anything I'd ever felt before. It was a kiss that would be considered illegal in some states. My heart started pounding in my chest, my pulse racing. My skin was on fire, my blood boiling. I was trembling, and I knew he could hear my heart pounding. He was taking my breath away.

"You are unbelievable, and you smell so intoxicating. I don't think I've ever wanted a taste of someone, as much as I want you." he said between kisses.

I knew what he meant, I could hardly forget that he was a vampire. Good or not, he would always be a vampire, and a part of him would always be tempted for my blood. That only made this that much more intense. That much more of a turn on, that much more exhilarating. I wanted him more, than I'd ever wanted anything in my whole life.

"Spike, make love to me. Please, I want you so bad, I need you." I begged.

He suddenly stopped cold, I thought he was about to take me. But the next thing I knew, he got up and left the room.

"Spike?" I shouted.

What the hell just happened?

I laid there, not being able to move. My heart began to hurt, I thought he had finally gave in to what he wanted. I was wrong.

But I wasn't going to give up.

I wanted Spike, and I know he wants me. I will make it happen.
