Marlowe & Friends

Part 2

Two weeks later, another Sunday feast took place.

Jayden's hair was thick and wavy, and his Grandma's cooking started to give him a gut. Meanwhile, Edgar looked like he was trying to ape James Bond.

Jayden and Marlowe went back for seconds. Edgar noticed them. "We meet again," Jayden muttered to Marlowe.

Marlowe grabbed a few canapés. Edgar joined them at the table. Jayden grabbed two honey rolls, tore them apart, and placed one on Marlowe's plate.

"The sharing of the rolls--an old Brookhaven tradition," Edgar said. His voice was effeminate but classy.

"Not the only thing we share," Jayden whispered.

Marlowe gasped and looked around. Edgar looked at Jayden and smirked. "Is that so?" Edgar asked.

"That is so."

"Shut up," Marlowe grumbled.

Mrs. L'Ermitage, a 72-year-old New England socialite, approached. She smiled sweetly. "Mr. Edgar, dear boy, what are you doing?" Mrs. L'Ermitage asked.

"Cavorting with the heathens," Edgar replied.

Mrs. L'Ermitage noticed Jayden and stuck her crooked, perfectly-manicured finger at him. "Beware the sodomite," she croaked, glaring.

Wearing gloves and an apron, a church employee approached the other side of the table. "Mrs. L'Ermitage, what may I get you?" the employee asked with impeccable etiquette.

She returned to smiling sweetly. "These truffles here look ravishing," she pointed at them.

Edgar looked at Jayden and smirked. "Is that so?" Edgar asked.

"They look like fine art," Mrs. L'Ermitage continued.

"That is so," Jayden said, smiling back at Edgar.

Jayden left, and Edgar gave Marlowe the side-eye. Marlowe grumbled and left.

It was a few hours after the service.

The reverend and Marlowe pulled up in the reverend's Jaguar F-Type.

Edgar and Edgar's grandpa, who looked like Wilford Brimley with Steve Mcqueen's fashion sense, approached the Jaguar. Another older man and Marie sat in separate, nearby golf carts. Marie read It Ends With Us but peeked after the Jaguar pulled up. "Reverend, do I have a business proposition for you," Edgar's grandpa said, sounding naturally smug.

Marlowe and the reverend exited. "Can't wait to hear it," the preacher replied.

Edgar's grandpa and the reverend walked away as Edgar approached Marlowe. "Good, we'll need a caddy," Edgar scoffed, pivoting.

After dressing, Marlowe drove Edgar's ridiculously pimped-out golf cart as Edgar sat beside him. The group's bags sat in its back. Marlowe followed two other coaches. "How long have you two been fucking?" Edgar asked, point blank.

"We don't--do that. And don't even think about it. Jayden is all mine," Marlowe warned.

Edgar scoffed. "I wouldn't stoop that low. After all, everyone knows your BOYFRIEND is here because he's a degenerate." Edgar pulled out his customized iPhone. "Just between you and me--" He showed Marlowe a picture of a stunning, twenty-one-year-old actor-model. "His father is the late great Pierce Rescan--perhaps you've heard of the name."

"Nope."

"Pleb." He scrolled through more pics. "Rufus just opened on Broadway--again. Young Gents--perhaps you've heard of it--or not." Marlowe noticed a pic of Edgar lying naked on satin sheets, facing the camera with his ass propped up. "You didn't see that." He flipped to the next pic, which showed a chiseled, shirtless Rufus beside a gaunt blond bombshell wearing tiny, black clothes and massive Dior sunglasses. "I'm sure you're impressed."

"Or not," Marlowe grumbled.

"You're impressed," Edgar assured him.

"What's up with the girl in the pic?"

"Who?"

"The blond."

"Stop being facetious. You know that's me--looking fierce."

"Wow," Marlowe grumbled.

Edgar turned off his phone. "By the way, my sister likes you. I don't know why--" Edgar said, trailing off. "In other words, stop acting like a wild boar and be nice."

"I'm always a gentleman."

Edgar scoffed. "Not with that shameful harlot of yours."

It was the following month.

The reverend confronted Marlowe about missing carpentry tools and supplies from his storage bin. Marlowe lied about taking the items to build a dog kennel for one of the deacons. The reverend told him to ask beforehand next time.

The next night, Jayden and Marlowe met at the fort, which they turned into a cleaner and sturdier structure. Upon seeing Marlowe, Jayden wept and covered his bald head. He had also lost all of his weight. "She's breaking me--they're breaking me," Jayden sobbed as Marlowe embraced him.

After skinny dipping for a few minutes, they jerked off, cleaned up, and cuddled naked. They caressed and kissed each other's bodies. "You have a--unique--beauty," Jayden murmured, staring into Marlowe's eyes.

"Unique?"

"Yes."

They French kissed, and Marlowe rolled onto his back and paused. "If we weren't in this situation, would you still find me attractive?" Marlowe asked.

"Where is this coming from?"

"Be honest."

Jayden hesitated. "Normally, you wouldn't be my type."

"You mean I'm not your type."

Jayden touched his chin, turned his face toward him, and stared into his teary eyes. "The only thing that matters now is that I love you."

"What about when you return home?"

Jayden rolled onto his back. "I'm not doing this," Jayden grumbled.

After a few seconds, Marlowe crawled into his arms, and they fell asleep.

They woke up the following day. Marlowe noticed a bright light shining through a slit in the door. He sat up. "What time is it?" Marlowe asked, waking up Jayden.

Marlowe found his watch and saw that it was ten in the morning.

They threw on their clothes and raced to their homes.

When Marlowe entered, he found his mom talking frantically on the phone. She saw Marlowe, paused, and said, "He just showed up, Sheriff." She put her hand on the speaker. "Get your ass to your room," she snapped at Marlowe.

Marlowe went to his room.

Minutes later, his mom barged in. "Mrs. Ethel had me helping--" Marlowe tried to explain.

"Were you with him?" his mom interrupted.

"Him?"

"Mrs. McNell's grandson."

Marlowe hesitated and reddened. "His name is Jayden."

She crossed her arms. "We specifically told you not to go around Jayden." He tried to say something. "Specifically!"

"What do you expect? You have me in prison here!" Marlowe cried. "He's the only thing--person--I have."

"Do you not see what I'm doing here? I'm trying to give us a better life."

"This is better?"

"These are successful and wealthy people. Show some goddamn respect!"

Marlowe covered his mouth and stopped crying. "Okay," he muttered through his hands.

His mom turned around and paced. "I'll clean this up. You're causing me to sin."

Marlowe put his hands down. "I'm sorry."

"Was Edgar there, too?"

"Hell no!"

"Language."

"No. Sorry--ma'am."

She turned to leave but spun around and moved toward him. "Your--uncle--doesn't have a clue you're gay. Keep it that way."

"Yes, ma'am."

Suddenly, she hugged him. "And I love you. You know this."

"Yes, mother."

She gently kissed his cheek and left.

A week later, one of the deacons had a sermon on sexual perversions, including homosexuality. At one point, Edgar and Jayden glanced at each other. Edgar smirked, noticed Marlowe watching, and looked away. Afterward, no weekly lunch took place.

The next night, Marlowe went to the fort. While standing outside, Marlowe noticed lights flickering, squeaking and guttural sounds, and a musky scent.

He entered and found Jayden pulverizing Edgar's ass. The room was stuffy and muggy. Edgar had a hairless nub of a boner, was bald all over, and his wild hair made him look like Jedward. "I invited Edgar over," Jayden told Marlowe as Edgar made a half moan, half chuckle.

"By the way," Edgar scoffed.

Jayden and Edgar French kissed as Marlowe watched. Edgar whispered something to Jayden, and Jayden chuckled and reached out to Marlowe. "Come here. Don't be shy," Jayden told Marlowe.

Marlowe scooted and yanked out his boner. Edgar flipped over and started deep-throating Marlowe. Jayden moved to fuck Edgar in the doggy style. Marlowe pulled down his jeans, opened his legs, and unbuttoned his flannel shirt.

Edgar was an expert cocksucker, and Marlowe came in his mouth in minutes. Edgar climbed and mounted Marlowe. He stuck his mouth on Marlowe's and spat his cum into it. Marlowe gagged, turned his head, and spat it out. "You taste like shit," Edgar grumbled as he ground his dick on Marlowe's bare abdomen.

Meanwhile, Jayden grabbed the ceiling and continued drilling Edgar. Edgar got near Marlowe's ear. "Your boyfriend feels so good inside me," Edgar whispered. Edgar groaned, causing Marlowe to writhe, and Edgar exploded on Marlowe as Jayden came inside him. After Jayden caught his breath, he bent over and ate out Edgar's cream pie. Marlowe could feel the spunk dribbling between his legs. Edgar moaned, looked into Marlowe's eyes, and smirked. "Scandalous white trash sluts," he mouthed.

After a few seconds, Jayden pulled Edgar off Marlowe, and they returned to French kissing. "Let's swim," Jayden whispered to Edgar.

"It's getting cold," Edgar replied.

"I'll keep you warm." Edgar and Jayden rose. "You're welcome to join us," Jayden told Marlowe.

"Or not," Edgar muttered.

Edgar and Jayden barreled out of the fort, and Jayden chased Edgar to the hanging rope. Edgar hollered as he swung into the water.

After a few minutes of fuming, Marlowe cleaned up, fixed his clothes, and gathered their belongings. He exited and walked to the edge of the water. Edgar and Jayden were horse-playing, but stopped when they noticed Marlowe. "Why are you dressed?" Edgar asked, straddling Jayden's back.

"Here are your clothes, Jayden. You can get dressed out here," Marlowe snarled, tossed the things into a bush, and walked away.

"Forget him," Edgar mocked, snickering.

Marlowe spun around as Jayden pivoted to face Edgar. Marlowe stepped into the moonlight, and he and Edgar stared at each other. Marlowe appeared broken and defeated. He left, and Jayden licked Edgar's neck. Edgar shoved him. "Stop," Edgar grumbled.

"The fuck?" Jayden shot back.

Marlowe returned to the fort, shut off the flashlight, and cried. Half an hour later, Jayden entered, fully dressed. "He went home," Jayden murmured.

Jayden tried to spoon Marlowe, but Marlowe elbowed him. "Get away," Marlowe sobbed. They were quiet for a few seconds. "How long?"

"A month."

"Get the fuck out!" Marlowe snapped, sounding more hurt than angry.

Jayden paused and left.

The next night, Marlowe and his family dined on salmon, sautéed potatoes, green beans, and blood orange juice. Marlowe ate like a snail, eyeballed his food, and occasionally sniffled. "We have NyQuil in the bathroom," his mom said.

"I'm fine," Marlowe replied in a daze.

After a few minutes, the reverend glanced at Marlowe's mom. "The twins are leaving tomorrow," Marlowe's mom told Marlowe.

"Good," Marlowe grumbled without looking up.

"That's not nice."

Marlowe hesitated. "I apologize, ma'am."

They continued eating as the reverend observed Marlowe. "McNell's grandson is also leaving," the minister said. Marlowe and his mom looked at the cleric. "In a few days."

Marlowe looked down. "He's better?" Marlowe's mom asked the reverend.

"No--but I still vouched for him," the reverend confessed.

His mom sat her fork down. "Why did you do that?" she asked.

"Because one bad apple spoils the bunch." He glanced at Marlowe and tossed his fork aside. "Put this in the fridge. I'll eat it later," the reverend grumbled and left.

Marlowe and his mom ate for a few seconds. "Say your goodbyes," she said.

"I did, ma'am."

The next night, Marlowe went to the lake, where he found Jayden. "Didn't expect you here," Marlowe grumbled.

"I'm returning home tomorrow," Jayden said, staring at the lake.

"I heard."

Suddenly, Jayden broke down, lunged at him, and clung to his legs. "I'm so fucked up," Jayden wailed.

"Yes, you are." Marlowe paused, got down, and embraced Jayden. "Let's go to the fort. We only have tonight," Marlowe whispered in his ear.

They went to the fort, where they found a generator, flat-screen TV, an Apple laptop, and an iPhone, still in their original packaging. Marlowe's eyes widened. "How? Where?" Marlowe gasped.

Jayden was equally shocked.

Marlowe noticed a note and opened it. A wad of cash fell out. Marlowe ignored the money and read the letter. "What's it say?" Jayden asked.

Marlowe glared at Jayden. "I guess your other boyfriend has a soul, after all."

"Rufus the Doofus probably dumped him."

They laughed, and Marlowe tossed the letter behind him. They made out, and Jayden took his cherry.
