Mated Chapter 12 -- Good Things, Bad Things by mjwolfwriter@gmail.com

October 9, Wednesday The auburn Wolf checked the time. It was 11:45. He was on his lunch break and figured he could get a load of his stuff dropped off. It was just a few boxes, really.

Well fuck. Zack saw his Mate's SUV in the driveway as he pulled in. He pulled up behind the vehicle. He thought to himself that he really should have expected this. It would have been delusional to think that he could move everything without Dylan confronting him at some point. He should have known that only helping him unpack the boxes was not going to last.

Zack exited the 'borrowed from work' pick up and looked toward the house. He smiled at the sight of his Mate in the doorway. Dylan was leaning back against the door-jam, arms crossed over his muscled chest and feet crossed at the ankles. Like he'd just been resting there all day. His face held an amused smirk. Sexy fucker!

Walking toward the house, Zack called out "Hey hon, forget something?"

His Mate rumbled a deep chuckle. "Yeah. I apparently forgot I have a sneaky Wolf for a boyfriend," Dylan replied as he stood up straight and then walked toward Zack.

Mate, Zack corrected in his head. Reaching his man halfway, he wrapped his arms around him tightly and took in that most pleasing scent. It always put a flutter in his belly and warmth in his heart. And filled his...yeah. "I'm not sneaky," he said, resting his head on his Mate. "Not totally," he murmured softly.

Dylan chuckled again, rubbing his lover's back. "Okay, I'll give you that one. You're usually pretty straight forward in your actions. Even if they are mischievous sometimes."

Zack looked up at his man's face and grinned. "You love it!"

"You're not wrong," he smiled. "Now, care to explain why you're moving stuff alone on your lunch hour?"

"I want to get it done, sooner than later. And I didn't want to bother you with it." Zack leaned up and kissed his Mate.

After several seconds, Dylan broke the kiss. "Did you really think I was going to let you move all by yourself?"

"You are already helping a lot," Zack said as he rubbed his Mate's back. "I don't think I have unpacked a single box by myself after the first two."

"Zack, baby, I love doing things for you. Especially if it gets you moved in with me faster," he winked. "And I can do much more. Plus, I have friends who can help," he replied, kissing his auburn Wolf.

Zack nodded. "Yes, I'm sure you could, and I know you have friends. But I do, too. And you already work hard."

"I'm not going to back down on this. I'm going to help you move in."

"Anyone ever tell you you're a stubborn ass sometimes?"

"More than you might think," Dylan chuckled.

"And how is Benjamin lately?"

"Now why would you say Ben so fast?"

This time it was Zack who chuckled. "Because I know you and I think I'm getting to know him enough to be safe in that assumption."

"Little smart-ass," Dylan quipped as he reached down and squeezed his lover's butt with both hands. "But yes, Ben."

After they had brought all of the boxes in and set them aside, Dylan called to Zack as they were heading to the front door. "Babe, hold up."

It was almost a soft growl. The sound sent shivers though Zack. He turned to face his Mate. "Yes?" He saw a fire in his man's eyes. Not the cold, angry fire he had witnessed in other situations. It was the simmering flames of lust. The best kind of fire. The scent of desire wafted off of his Mate. And the strong feelings of need for him.

Zack knew his Mate was an alpha predator. And that he was basically stalking him in his home right now. He had no doubts that his Mate truly wanted him. Zack felt he was the luckiest Wolf alive...he had an actual Alpha for his very own.

Dylan's eyes locked onto Zack's. His nostrils flared at the scent of excitement and outright arousal he smelled from his lover. And the look in his eyes. There was more than desire. He thought he saw love as well. Zack was the perfect man for him, he was sure. And he resolved to do whatever he had to do in order to keep him with him and happy. "You are, without a doubt, the sexiest man ever," he rumbled as he advanced slowly on his auburn stud.

"Is that so," Zack responded, that mischievous grin appearing.

Dylan advanced steadily, raising his hands and placing his palms on Zack's chest. He kept moving forward, slowly, until Zack's back was pressed firmly against the closed front door. He was effectively pinned.

When Zack came into contact with the door sharply, but not overly so, he let out an 'Uhff' of air. "Looks like you're the one up to mischief this time," he chuckled.

Dylan slid his hands over to his lover's sides and then down to the bottom of his shirt. He quickly moved them under the shirt and began a slow journey back up, taking the shirt along. His sexy red was fast to catch on and followed his lead, raising his arms as the shirt was pulled up and off. Dylan tossed it in the general direction of the couch.

Zack's soft chuckle had a slight growl-ish quality that really spurred him on. Before they both returned to work, one of them would spill, maybe both. Dylan returned his full attention to his Wolf. He leaned close, feeling his lover's heat. He sniffed at Zack's neck and licked generously, not able to contain the moans of pleasure this gave him. He licked up the neck, along the jaw, and attacked Zack's mouth. It was aggressive, consuming. Tongues dueling. They stopped only for the need for air.

"Well, that's a nice departure from work," Zack panted.

"Oh, there's more," Dylan rumbled. He kissed Zack again, this time more passion than aggression. He touched his forehead to Zack's. "I love you so much babe. It makes me so happy that you're going to be living here."

"You have me, now and always."

Dylan hesitated, emotions deep. "I hope so."

"You do. And you always will." Zack reached up and caressed his Mate's left cheek. "Hon, I know this is a big, new step for us. I'm sure you had never considered having someone come into your life, into your home and live with you. And for whatever reasons, you would probably never admit that you might have some fears. But that's okay. Having some fears doesn't make you less. So don't worry. Because it will all be fine in the end, you'll see." He slid his hand to his Mate's neck and pulled down enough to place a tender kiss on his Mate's lips.

"I don't understand how all of this is happening. I really don't deserve you," Dylan husked.

"Think what you will, but it doesn't change the fact that you're stuck with me," chuckled Zack.

"I'll try and remember that."

"You'd better. And speaking of remembering things, I believe you had something you were going for," Zack teased.

The scent of arousal thickened quickly. "Oh yeah," Dylan responded hoarsely. "Stay right where you are."

Dylan lowered himself to his knees and reached as far as he could up Zack's torso. He splayed his fingers wide and slowly dragged his hands down his lover's front. Encouraged by the sounds of approval, he hooked his fingers into the waistband of Zack's pants and brought his face close. He sniffed then licked the spot just above the navel a few times. This elicited a small flinch and gasp of surprise.

Pleased with what his actions caused, Dylan moved just enough to tongue Zack's navel directly. He gave this considerably more attention. The soft groans told him that he was on target with his plan. He felt a sense of satisfaction inside. And an odd feeling that Zack was happy that he couldn't just say came from the sounds the man was making.

In any case, he knew he had to advance his plan towards the end goal. Dragging his palm down the center of Zack's pants he felt his lover's aroused member. Hot, hard and needing. It was not yet fully engorged, but that would quickly change.

Making quick work of opening the jeans and lowering them around his man's thighs, Dylan stopped a moment to appraise the beautiful bulge presented in Zack's red NAUGHTY PUP briefs. He had no resistance in him to keep from palming that lovely package before him, so he did just that. This time he was rewarded with more of a louder moan.

"Oh gods, Dylan!"

"You like that babe?"

"Gods yes," Zack huffed out.

Dylan rumbled out a pleased chuckle. And those sexy briefs found a place down with the jeans. His lover's cock sprung up, growing prouder by the second. He leaned in close and inhaled deeply of the scents in Zack's groin. The big Wolf actually salivated. "Mmmmmm, red Wolf, my favorite."

Amid the chaos of feelings, Zack managed "So, any red Wolf trips you then?" It was a tease, of course. Dylan was The One. Zack suddenly felt a surge of something from his Mate. It wasn't irritation, but he still could not define it.

Firmly gripping Zack's hips, Dylan said "NO...only this red Wolf."

"Maybe I'm the one who doesn't deserve you," Zack replied playfully.

Dylan looked up into his lover's eyes. "No, you're perfect," he uttered softly. He then returned his attention to pleasuring his Wolf. Starting at the lovely balls, licking and sucking each one. His ears were filled with the sounds of enjoyment and soft moans. Shortly it was time for the main event. Zack was already hot and panting.

Looking again at Zack's eyes, he saw what he thought was joy. And fire. Directed at him. Caused by him...for him. "You are sooo beautiful," he stated softly.

Zack smiled. "I'm sooo yours."

This time Dylan groaned before taking Zack's cock, now fully hard, standing up and leaking pre-cum down the underside, in hand. Beginning at the spot just above the balls, he slowly licked up, ending with sucking on the inflamed purple leaking head.

"Oh gods! FUUUUCK!" Zack's palms slapped the door he was leaning against loudly.

Dylan hummed at the emphatic display of pleasure he brought out of his Wolf. It spurred him to continue. Not that he would have stopped. Not that he could have stopped. He had to bring his Wolf a sweet release, after all. He grabbed Zack's hips and bobbed his way up and down that hot, hard column of flesh until his nose was well buried in the soft nest of red pubic hair. His lover's moans assured him that he was doing well. The only thing that would be better right now was for Zack's hands to be on his head, taking control.

Normally, control was something he tried to keep. He was the boss, gave the orders, direction. But there were situations like this, with Zack, that he found himself desiring to give up some of that control. They had been dating long enough that he knew just how to get his man to do what he wished for. So, he lightly bit down at the base of Zack's cock. His lover's hands immediately grasped the sides of his head. Signal received. He smiled inwardly as he moaned his own pleasure.

Dylan continued to work his Wolf's swollen rod, sliding back up to the head. He sucked and moaned at the feel and taste of his lover. Instead of moving his head back down on Zack's cock, he pulled his hips forward forcefully. Again, Zack knew exactly what he desired and began a fuck rhythm.

Zack was filled with love and pleasure. His Mate was doing such an amazing job on his engorged cock. He could feel his Mate's enjoyment and love in this. Knowing that their lunch time was limited, he picked up his pace. Several quick and shallow jabs and then some hard, deep ones. The deep ones were accompanied by hard grunts from himself and almost gags from his Mate. But he knew his Mate would not stop or change a thing. This was what he wanted. So he resumed his rapid thrusts, feeling his release building, so close now. "Almost there," he managed to get out.

So ready for his lover's release, Dylan signaled his readiness to receive by gripping Zack's ass tighter. It would be soon now. Only a few more strokes before he was rewarded by his Wolf slamming his cock as far down his throat as was possible and bellowing out his release, holding his head as cum pumped down his throat. Dylan held tight until he could no longer feel his lover's cock pulse and gently push him back with a deep groan.

"Oh gods! That was...oh gods!" Zack was panting and then he was finally able to smile, his eyes still slightly lust glazed from the encounter.

Dylan let go of Zack's cockhead with a pop, causing a slight shiver in his lover, and looked up at his sexy auburn Wolf. That slightly dazed look pleased him in a way he never thought he could feel. He had made his lover so happy. He smiled back at Zack and then righted his briefs, carefully tucking his deflating cock away. Next, he pulled up the jeans and made sure they were fastened properly. Dylan stood slowly, taking time to lick up the center of his Wolf's perfect body. "I love you, so much. And I'm glad you are making your home with me."

Zack was overcome with emotion, embracing his Mate. He was barely able to whisper "Always."

A female Wolf rushed out of the elevator on the top floor of Pacific Security Services and into the Executive Reception area. Noting the two large desks, each sitting close to a door, she stormed up to the one on the right side of the room. "I want to see Benjamin Evans," she demanded.

Glancing at the clock on the wall across from the desks (3:00 PM), the dark haired 20 something male Panther asked "Do you have an appointment, Miss?"

"NO," she barked out sharply.

"I see," he replied calmly. "Mr. Evans is unavailable at this time. Would you care to make an appointment to see him?"

The Wolf slapped her hands down loudly onto the desk. "No, I would not like to make an appointment. You tell Mr. Evans that his fiance is here to see him right now!"

"I'm sorry Miss, it doesn't matter who you are...Mister Evans is unavailable. I can make an appointment for you or I can give him a message."

Still looking angry, the woman glared a few seconds longer. Apparently deciding that he was not intimidated, she turned towards the elevator and saw Dylan Tyler stepping off. His big smile seemed to further agitate her.

Just returning from a wonderful encounter with his lover and a quick lunch, Dylan was feeling great. Until he stepped off of the elevator to his office suite and spotted Sasha near Benjamin's reception desk. His satisfied smile became a concerned frown. Ben had not been terribly forthcoming with details regarding his relationship and he wasn't sure how to handle Sasha now.

Deciding on pleasant, he forced a smile back on and greeted her with "Good afternoon Sasha. How are you today?"

"Fucking pissed! I'll talk to you now!"

Taken aback, Dylan arched a brow. "Excuse me," he replied at her declaration. "I will talk to you when I have the time."

She crossed her arms over her chest and smirked at him. "Find the time or they learn your little secret," she countered with nods towards the two desks and the people behind them.

His first reaction was anger, and it flashed on his face. After a moment he calmed down and reason, then fear struck. It was one thing to come out to his best friend. But he wasn't ready to tell people at work, even if he was the boss. He closed his eyes and took a couple of deep breaths. Opening his eyes he said "Selah, please extend my apologies to my next appointment for the few minutes wait."

Receiving a terse "Yes, Mister Tyler," he showed Sasha into his office and closed the door behind them. The sound proofing aspect provided a small bit of calm that he needed at the moment. Walking directly to his desk, he sat in his chair and motioned Sasha to the chair for guests and clients opposite.. She glared at him but took the offered seat.

Managing to school his features into what he hoped was appropriately earnest looking, he leaned forward and clasped his hands on his desk. "What can I do for you," he asked in his best business voice.

"Can the fake giving a shit bullshit. Where is he," she snarled.

"Has he not spoken with you?"

She frowned. "Conversations have been few and vague. So I'm coming to you." She looked as if she had just sucked on a lemon.

Dylan sighed. "You know I can't make him talk to you more, right?"

"He's still your friend. Surely you have some way to get him to talk."

"Not if he really doesn't want to, Sasha. That's not how it works."

"I bet," she huffed under her breath. "He probably told you all about our arguments, didn't he?"

"All he's told me was that you two had an argument."

"We've had fights before, but he's never left the apartment during one."

"He probably just needed some time to clear his head. It's happened before." Dylan tried to offer a smile to calm her.

"I know," she stated emphatically, "he's at your place, isn't he?"

"No Sasha, he is not at my place. He did come to my place. Even took a shower. But he is not staying with me."

She growled. "So I ask again, where...is...he?"

Dylan placed his hands palms down on his great dark wood desk and said as calmly as he could "If he has not told you, then he does not wish you to know. Therefore, I will not disclose his location to you."

Sasha grimaced, clearly angry. "If you don't," she started.

The much larger Wolf in the room barely succeeded in restraining himself from launching himself across his desk and snapping the female's neck for her. Instead, he bolted to a standing position, popping sounds coming from his hands as his fists clenched and unclenched. He swiftly walked to his office door and jerked it open. "This meeting is over now," he spat out in a clipped manner.

Rising and heading to the now open door Sasha said "You have not been very helpful."

Still gripping the doorknob tightly, Dylan replied "I have been as helpful as the situation demanded."

"This is not the end of this," she tossed out casually as she strode through to doorway. She stopped close to his reception desk and folded her arms across her chest. "Benjamin meets with me tomorrow or I tell everyone here and everyone I see what a big faggot you are. Let's see how well your company does then."

In the moment of stunned inactivity from Dylan, he heard a feral growl and Selah had flown from her chair and pinned Sasha down on the floor, hands firmly around the female's neck. Her dazzling blue eyes were ringed in red. "You...are...telling...no one," she growled as she slammed Sasha's head against the floor with each word. "If I hear you have told, no body will ever be found. Do you understand me little girl?"

Gasping for air, Sasha tried to grasp Selah's hands from around her neck, but it was clear she would be unable to do so unless she shifted forms. Her attempts at breathing were also impaired.

"Selah," Dylan said softly, regaining his senses. "Selah...she can't speak if she can't breathe."

Slamming Sasha's head into the floor again, Selah spat "Maybe it would be better that way, sir."

"Normally I would agree, but I think Mister Evans should have a say," Dylan replied.

"As you say sir." Selah released her grip and stood as Sasha took in large lungfuls of air, her face slowly losing the deep red it had become. After a moment, Selah reached down and jerked Sasha up by the front of her designer tee shirt and drew her in close. She leaned in and almost whispered in her ear "I meant what I said...there will be no body to find." Returning to her position behind the desk, she seated herself and said "Have a nice day Miss," with a smile so sweet one could put it on pancakes.

Sasha nodded numbly. "I...I better go, then." She turned and slowly made her way to the elevator, clearly still dazed from events. There was not another sound from her as she got on and the elevator closed.

Zack sat on the living room couch waiting for his Mate to join him for some quiet cuddles and a movie before retiring to the bedroom. The cellphone on the coffee table went off, the distinct ringtone assigned amusing Zack. Usually he would not answer his mate's phone without permission, but he had not had any success reaching Benjamin from his own cell so decided to catch him this way. He could at least try to talk to Ben. Zack grabbed the cell from off the table and swiped to answer. "Dylan's phone, his cooler half speaking. And don't you dare hang up on me Ben, I need to talk to you."

There was a hesitation on the line. "Uh, h...hey Zack. Where, umm, where's Dylan?"

"Ah, changing the subject," Zack chuckled, "but to answer your question, he's in the shower."

"And you're not in there wi..."

"Do you take every shower with Sasha?"

Zack heard Benjamin's sigh. "That's not the most comfortable topic right now Zack."

"Sorry...uh, inappropriate," Zack returned.

"No, it's just...complicated right now."

"Well if you wanna talk about it, I'm available."

"No no, I got it," Ben said quickly. Too quickly, Zack thought. "I mean...I'll sort it out, but thanks for your offer."

Zack thought Well, that's suspicious. Then it occurred to him that maybe he was the complication. "Oh gods," he burst, "it's me isn't it? I'm the problem."

"Now Zack..." Ben began.

"No, I get it. The trouble didn't start until I showed up, right? So it's me, I'm the problem. Hell, she probably thinks I corrupted Dylan, too." As much as he tried, he couldn't keep the hurt from his voice. He saw Dylan step into the living room in nothing but a towel with a puzzled look on his face. Good timing, he thought. "He's out of the shower," he said, then showed the phone to his Mate. "It's Benjamin," he said in a clipped manner as he stood up and set the phone back on the table where he found it.

The auburn haired man could still just make out the tinny sound of Benjamin's voice talking as he turned and walked to the front door. His wolf very much needed to run right now. "Zack," he heard his Mate's confused voice call out. It was questioning...and he wanted to answer, but he couldn't talk now so he just shook his head as he opened the door and exited to the wide outdoors, closing it behind him.

Quickly discarding his clothes he made a brief, silent supplication to the Great Spirit that his Mate not immediately follow him. He shifted into his wolf and dashed for the wildness of the woods.

Dylan could sense that Zack was upset after talking with Ben and it left him confused and angry. And he didn't know why. Snatching his phone from the table, he brought it up and snapped "What the fuck did you say to Zack?" He was fighting the urge to fling the cell into a wall and run after his lover. As it was he was gripping the thing so hard he was surprised it didn't just shatter in his hand.

"Nothing bad Dyl, I swear. But your Ma...man is terribly perceptive. He jumped to a conclusion that is not wholly wrong."

That did not answer Dylan's question to his satisfaction. "The fuck are you talking about? Cause I should be out trying to find my boyfriend who just walked out of the house after talking to you."

"Damn-it! Think he's still on your property?"

"How the hell should I know? I'm inside talking to you!"

There was the sound of a sigh. "Right, sorry Dyl. You should go find him and come see me at my room."

Dylan growled "And I should see you instead taking care of my boyfriend because..."

Another sigh. "Because I need to clear some things up with both of you. And I don't want to do it over the damn phone."

"Fine," huffed Dylan, "But this had better be good."

"It's really not, but it will be answers and it will be the truth."

Christopher's wolf was irritated. That seemed to be his usual state of mind now. Whatever! He had told himself that he wasn't going to go back to that fucking Alpha's property again. Yet here he was...watching the damn front door in the dark of the evening. He was in mid-chastisement (again) when it happened. The door opened and Zack came out (alone) and closed it behind himself.

He watched as his prey rapidly stripped out of his clothing, shifted into his wolf and then ran for the woods on the property. The evening's pleasant breeze carried the scents of an unhappy Wolf to him (which he found pleasing) and he had a sudden flash of clarity. This could be the chance he was looking for! His prey was unsettled, probably distracted, and his Alpha had not immediately followed him out. And the woods met the highway on one border.

Figuring that that level of unsettled would not dissipate soon, he decided to take the chance at capturing his prey now. It did not take long to run down the private drive and to his vehicle. He already had gear waiting. Moving as quickly and quietly as he could, Christopher shifted into his man and pulled the weapon stored there from the vehicle's storage space.

It was a gamble that his prey would come to the edge of the woods at the highway, but he was going to be ready just in case. After five (nearly interminable it seemed) minutes his gamble paid off. The auburn wolf came to the line where forest met road and stopped. He seemed to be gazing out at the bay that bordered the west side of the highway. He figured that his opportunity here was short. Surely the wolf would run back into the woods again or that the Alpha would come looking for his Wolf soon.

Christopher crouched low behind his vehicle for cover, cocked the weapon and hoped it was quiet enough to not alert his prey. After a moment it was clear it had not, so he took careful aim and squeezed the trigger. Yes, he thought when his shot hit it's target. He could see the bright white plume from the dart against the red fur of the dropping wolf. At it's best, the drug will cause the wolf to be out for hours and at worst, too groggy to seriously resist.

The dark haired Wolf spared himself a moment to enjoy the takedown and another to listen for any sign of the Alpha calling for Zack. Hearing none, he stashed the weapon back into the storage space and retrieved bindings. A quick jog took him to his fallen prey. He checked to see what condition he would be dealing with. Out like a light. Great! It did not take long to secure the sleeping wolf's limbs and muzzle. Picking the wolf up, he laid him across his shoulders and returned to his vehicle.

Surveying the room, Christopher nodded with satisfaction. The warehouse space was 75 feet by 100 feet, with a 10 feet by 10 feet office in the northeast corner. It was dimly lit at the moment. Along the west wall, out five feet from the wall, there was a cage. Constructed of iron overlaid in silver, the cage was well suited to contain a Wolf. Just being close to it had made him uncomfortable. He could only imagine being inside. Mere moments after the thought of inspecting it had occurred his mind rejected the idea.

Still in wolf form, still bound, Zack was laid on a mat in the eight feet by six feet cage. He was still asleep from the tranquilizer he had been shot with. Some things were about to change.

"Billy," Christopher called to the Mundane sitting in the small office.

"Yeah," the six feet blond replied as he stepped through the door. The man looked like the college jock that he was. An athletic build, nicely attractive with gray eyes and a buzz cut hair style. One might mistake him for a military guy on first look. As good looking as he was, he was also dumb enough to accept Christopher's offer. The tasks and the compensations. Money and sex are kinda hard to beat for a needy student. Especially one with a certain moral flexibility.

"Get the snips. It's time to cut those bindings off of our guest. And the cage key is in the center drawer of the desk."

"Sure thing. But...ah...is it safe to do that?"

Rolling his eyes then smiling, Christopher said "Of course, he's still sleeping."

Billy nodded and got the snips and key, returning to show Christopher the items.

"Good. Now go cut the bindings off of him. Bring them out with you. Don't forget to lock up and don't forget the key." He didn't think this kid was that stupid, but better safe than...as the saying goes.

Approaching the cage cautiously, Billy watched the sleeping Wolf for a moment before he inserted the key and turned it. He paused at the metallic sound of the lock sliding open and looked again at the Wolf. There was no movement so he opened the door and stepped inside. In no time he was at the prone form. Bending down, he cut the bindings, gathered them up and exited the cage. He locked it and tugged the door to make sure.

"Throw those in the trash," Christopher directed when Billy returned from the cage end of the warehouse space.

"And the key? Should put it back?"

"Hold on to it, you're going to need it again shortly." He smirked at the concerned look on the Mundane's face.

"Uh, okay," Billy said, brows furrowed.

The dark haired Wolf chuckled softly. "Relax handsome...it's gonna be fine. He's gonna stay sleeping for a bit yet." He thought maybe a small gesture to calm the man's fears was in order. Reaching out, he grabbed the front of Billy's navy blue tee shirt with the movie wolfman head on it and quickly pulled him close. Billy's eyes widened in surprise. Christopher released the Mundane's shirt, but moved his hand to grab the back of the man's head. He drew him in and planted a deep kiss on the man's lips. "Better now?"

Billy nodded slowly. "Yes sir." He had a slightly glazed look to his eyes.

"Good. Now let's get back to work. And Billy, when we get home tonight...you'll get some," the Wolf said with a wink.

Smiling, Billy went into the office and tossed the used bindings into the kitchen sized trash can. He looked up and saw that Christopher had followed him and sat in the office chair behind the metal desk.

Christopher opened the center drawer and pulled out the key to the file cabinet. It was small, made of aluminum and was on a ring with a tag labeled 'FC!' on it. Tossing the key to Billy he said "Bottom drawer, there's a black case. Bring it here."

Moments later Billy set the case on the desk in front of Christopher. "What is it," he asked, curiosity in his voice.

"Another part of that little red bastard's nightmare," replied Christopher with a malicious grin.

"Shit," Billy exclaimed. "What did he do wrong? So maybe I don't do it..."

"Oh, I don't think you're in danger of that," laughed the Wolf.

"O...okay. So...do I get to see what's in the case," Billy asked cautiously.

"Well of course," snapped Christopher. "You're going to be using it, after all."

"Sorry," Billy flinched.

"No, it's okay," said Christopher in a softer tone. "He just pisses me off so much, I lose it sometimes. Come here." The Wolf motioned Billy to come to him around the desk. Billy complied and Christopher pulled him down onto his lap. Once Billy was settled, Christopher worked a hand under the man's tee shirt and caressed his abs. He is a pretty plaything, after all. "Now, go ahead and open it," he said softly, nodding to the case.

Billy slowly reached for the case and with one hand thumbed the latch open and then lifted the lid. Inside was a pistol style jet injector in gleaming black chrome along with two CO2 cartridges. "Shiny. What is it?"

"It's a medicine injecting tool. You're going to use it on the Wolf out there," Christopher said with a smile and sparkle in his eyes.

"Won't that make him mad," Billy asked nervously.

Christopher rolled his eyes and sighed softy. "No. Firstly, he's been sedated. Secondly, since he's drugged it won't wake him. And thirdly, you will be safely out of the cage before the potion takes effect. Now be a good boy and go get a white vial from the fridge."

As the Mundane got up Christopher caressed his ass and smiled. Billy paused long enough to wag his ass a couple of times before completing the given task. At Christopher's indication, he returned to his lap and set the vial on the desk next to the case. "Now what," asked Billy.

"Now it's time to use this on the Wolf out there." Christopher spent several minutes explaining and demonstrating how to prepare the device and use it. "Okay, let's do this." Christopher nudged Billy to get up.

Billy picked up the now ready injector and followed Christopher out of the office. He stopped beside the Wolf just outside the office door and looked over at him.

"Well, get to it," urged Christopher with a nod toward the cage. Remember, shoulder or haunch."

"You're sure I'll be safe?"

"Safe from him," Christopher growled lightly. Seeing the man flinch made him realize he was frightening the Mundane. It was the closeness to the full moon. He reached his hand out and placed it on the nape of Billy's neck, rubbing his thumb back and forth gently to calm him. Softly he said "It's okay. Everything will be fine, baby. Just go in, inject, and out. Now show me the injector and key." He watched as Billy held the device up then switched hands with it and dug the key out of his jeans pocket. Christopher smiled and nodded. "Very good. Now get to it."

Appearing reassured, Billy walked to the cage and unlocked it. Looking at the sleeping form on the mat, he loudly whispered "Psst...hey, Wolf," and watched.

"Oh for fucksakes! He's drugged. Get on with it."

Taking a deep breath and exhaling, Billy opened the door and entered, pulling it closed behind him. Just a few paces and he was again standing over the sleeping Wolf. Another deep breath, exhale, and he bent down, pressing the injector tip firmly into Zack's left haunch and triggered the injector. As instructed, he waited several seconds after the hissing sound stopped before pulling the device away. He spent another moment watching the Wolf before exiting, locking the door and returning to Christopher's side. "Now what," he asked quietly.

"Now," Christopher replied as he reached out and tugged Billy closer "we wait for the potion to do what it does."

"How long does it take?"

With a sigh, Christopher answered "I'm told less than ten minutes."

"What does it do?"

"Well, Quizmaster, it will make him shift back into a man." There was a low rumble in his voice.

"I thought you guys chose to shift."

"Normally it is a choice," the Wolf huffed. "Now, are there any further questions or are you done?" The tone was decidedly menacing.

"No more questions."

"Good. Go get the chairs. I see no need to stand while we wait."

After several minutes of the men watching, Zack began twitching slightly. "Billy," Christopher started, "go get closer. You're about to see the reason for all of this. And why an Alpha is going to suffer."

Billy hesitated a moment and Christopher growled loud and deep and pointed at the cage saying "Go! It's safe."

Nodding, Billy swiftly walked up to the cage. Curiosity had him gripping the bars as he looked at the twitching Zack. Twitching which had intensified considerably. He stared wide-eyed as the almost convulsing red Wolf became a sleeping naked auburn man that now lay flat on his back with his left arm across his chest.
