Mike's Story
Part II
Chapter two
A few days had passed since Mike had submitted his story to the gay story website and he'd had a few E-mails regarding his story, a few comments, some good, some criticism, others just generally wanted to know if he was gonna continue the story. It had crossed his mind to carry it on but the truth was he liked it as a stand alone story, he hadn't written it to keep it going or just finish it, it was open ended, sort of to let the reader make their own mind up of its ending.
Checking his E-mail inbox to find he had another five unread messages he clicked the mouse on the tab to take him straight to his inbox to see who had sent him mail. All the usual people really, an E-mail from Sam, who Mike had E-mailed now for the past three years, Sam lived in Canada and they had met in a chat room one night and just started E-mailing each other at every given chance they got, they even sometime instant mailed each other too. He also had a message from a company trying to sell him a product to make his dick bigger, as you do...
Another message was from Philip, another writer from the gay story website who had sent him a few messages now, giving him encouragement to write another story and also to give him praise for his story about Danny. This one however was more about general friend stuff, Philip asking him what music he was into and what TV shows he watched, he'd reply to him later after he had read all his messages and played a few compulsory games of solitaire. Opening the fourth E-mail he found it to be from someone called Nathan, another person who obviously enjoyed reading gay literature in his spare time, he was saying how he enjoyed the story and that Mike should write a follow up chapter, or chapters.
Clicking on the 'read next message' link, he found himself staring at a message from someone who had the screen name `GuaitarBoy,' who's message read:
Hey Mike,
Loved the story you wrote & would love to get to know you! Mail back if interested.
- Jason DeNeil.
Mike read the message a few more times over in his head, then thought what the hell, dragging his mouse pointer he clicks on reply' and a new message template comes up on screen. Typing the subject as Hi' he starts to write his reply to GuitarBoy.
Hey Jason, Sure would love to chat and get to know you and stuff. Anything you wanna know just ask n I'll get back to you when I can.
Later
- for now -
Mike.
Sending the message, he closes the window and goes about searching the web as he normally does. A few hours later a pop-up message at the bottom right hand of his computer screen alerts Mike that; `you have one new message in your inbox.' Clicking the link the screen converts to his E-mail homepage and he clicks the mouse on the new message icon to find it to be from GuitarBoy, which reads:
Hey Mike,
Just wanted to know the usual stuff really. What kind of music you into, favourite movies, what kind of hobbies you into and all that? Also I wanted to ask if you intended to carry on your story? Cos I really enjoyed reading it and would love to know what happens next. N' I'll take it u have a really big crush on Danny then? Anyway gotta go for now, but hope to hear from you soon, - Jason. Hurrying his mouse he quickly clicks the `reply' link and types his response with increased vigour, almost enthralled by this new stranger.
Hey, again!
Into loads of kinds of music and stuff, but my faves are the likes of Green Day, Metallica, Simple Plan, and rocky stuff like that. I love all movies but I like action and drama best (well drama when its done right). Have no plans to carry on with the story, it was just something to do one night but now I think it's through. And yes, you guessed right, I do have a crush on Danny, but hey, I'm only human. Anyway so what kind of stuff you into?
Mike x
Adding the kiss with a cheeky grin he re-reads the message before sending it, almost not being able to control his eagerness for a reply he disconnects from the internet and loads up a game of solitaire to pass a few hours before hitting the sack before having to go to work the next day.
It was a couple of days later before he finally had the chance to check his mail again and found it loaded with E-mails, mainly from Jason. He quickly read through all his messages, taking longer to muse over the ones from Jason. He seemed like a nice guy, into the same kind of stuff as Mike, and, as suggested by his appropriate screen name, he was a keen guitarist..
Friday. Two months later.
Work drew to a close for another week for Mike, who had in part nearly done the job of two people all week, and he was totally knackered, saying goodbye to his co-workers. Or at least the ones who actually made an attempt to show Mike they knew he existed, he left for the forty-five minute walk home, and as he left the building the sky opened up, almost as if taunting Mike, who would class this week as one of the worst in his working life - all three years of it.
The rain soaked his coat, which wasn't waterproof and soaked straight through and dampened his work t-shirt underneath, making his skin cold and clammy. The dark clouds swelling above him making four o'clock seem like nine o'clock as winter drew in, the rain beating the ground and cars splashing the residue of the road onto their Mudguards, making it look like a spray of fine watery mist.
His hair dripped droplets of rain down over his face, as he put the key in the lock and twisting it to open the door to escape the downpour he had been stuck in for the last forty-five minutes. His clothes hugged him and made him shiver from the cold as he stood at the back of the door, dripping onto the tiled floor and taking the Velcro strap that made the zip more accessible in his fingertips of his index finger and thumb, he opens his jacket and slides it down his arms. His light-blue work top now a dull looking dark-blue around the collar and on top of the shoulders, his hair now a shiny dirty blonde, from the rain.
He walks up the stairs, and along the landing and into the bathroom, opening the closet, that doubles with the cistern and grabs a towel, bringing it straight to his face. He rubs his hair vigorously putting his coat at the top of the bath to drain before obscuring his face in the towel. Walking to his room whilst drying his hair, careful to not bind his view and walk into a door or something. Throwing the towel on the bed, he removes his t-shirt and throws it in the wash basket beside the door, his hair now a mess and stuck in all directions.
He goes to his walk-in-closet and routes through his t-shirts, finally picking a black one with a light green skull emblazoned on the front, and grabs a pair of jeans from the pile in the corner, all which look the same, and heads back off to the bathroom to get washed and changed out of his work gear and forget about it till Monday.
Back in his bedroom fifteen minutes later, he sits down in the chair in front of his computer, unwinding for a few seconds before pressing the button and turning it on, and waits patiently for it boot up, his Green Day wallpaper background finally coming into view. Playing a few relaxing games of solitaire until the clock at the bottom of the screen reads after six, he closes his current game and connects to the internet. The modem squealing as it does every time. Clicking on the icon to load up his E-mail page, he types in his ID and password and is quickly prompted that he has four unread messages in his inbox, going to them and seeing they are all from Jason.
He glanced over the messages quickly, his eyes stopping however on a certain collection of words:
`Do you fancy meeting up sometime?"
He had gotten to know Jason pretty well over the past few months while they had chatted online and E-mailed each other quite regularly, chatting about whatever was on their minds which they wanted to share, however the topic of meeting up, had up until now, had never come up. Mike had to think for a few seconds, his mind no longer reading the rest of the message that was after that sentence. The thought thrilled him. Meeting up with someone who seemed great online, but then there were the constant dangers everyone keeps warning him about. Typing his words carefully he types:
`Depends on the circumstances? If you want t meet as friends and stuff then sure, I'd love to meet you. However if its for sex an all that then, no!'
Mike wanted to word it write, get his message across in a clear manner. He had had all that stuff before from other people off the internet, people who just wanted to hook-up for `sexual escapades' which was not what Mike wanted, he didn't see the point in meeting strangers just for sex, and now he hoped against hope that Jason didn't fall into that population of people. After all, he quite liked him.
The clock was nearing midnight, not that Mike was clock watching or anything, and playing another game of solitaire when a pop-up at the bottom right hand corner of the screen stated that he had one new message in his inbox. Closing his current game he clicked on the pop-up that took him straight to the message, hoping that Jason still wanted to meet and not just want sex. Letting out a last breath he clicks on the message and begins to read...
Hey,
Yeah, I meant as friends. Would just be nice to put a person to the writing you know? So how about it, you still want to?
Love,
J.D.
Mike breathed a sigh of relief, finally someone who wasn't just interested in sex, he laughed to himself feeling rather stupid now at the amount of thought he had given it. Moving the mouse to the link he wanted he clicked on the button on the right hand side of the mouse and begin replying.
Would love to, so we gonna meet halfway or summat daft? Or do you want me to come to you or you to me?
Love Mike x
They discussed nothing other than meeting up, for a drink, in about two weeks time, from that moment on. The worry in Mike's mind now starting to become clear as the time drew closer. They had decided that Mike would be the one to travel down to London and meet Jason, and Jason in turn would be the one to buy the drinks and stuff for the day they met up. They would meet on the Saturday, Mike getting the train down in the morning, and getting there just after one, and would eventually at the end of the day catch the eight-forty train back home. Mike was to meet Jason in a bar called: The Star. A small place Jason had told him about, out of the way, yet in the city centre, where they could meet, get a couple of drinks and have a good chat and stuff. Everything had been arranged, and Friday after work Mike had come straight home and got everything he needed for the day trip tomorrow ready. And that night would be the last time he ever talked to Jason without knowing what he looked like.
Saturday.
His CD player turned on at the designated time Mike had set it to the night before, and waking up to Trivium's, Ascendancy album this early was a bitch. He waits a while letting the music properly wake him before he grabs the remote from beside the pillow and looks it over, still heavy eyed, and presses the digit that makes the CD skip to track 6: A gunshot to the head of trepidation. After the song had played, Mike throws back the covers unwillingly and sits over the edge of his bed, his feet cooled by the laminated wood floor, the light just penetrating through a small separation in the curtains.
He ate breakfast in silence, cornflakes, which was unusual because he never really had time to have breakfast in a morning before work. He finishes them and puts the empty dish in some warm soapy water in the sink, looking out the back window into the backyard, the weather fine, some bird singing melodiously.
Just after seven-thirty he left the house, stuffing his black leather wallet into his back right hand pocket, and his keys in his front left. Taking a last look at his house until sometime in the early hours later, he walks down the street towards the train station, which was about a ten minute walk for Mike.
The station was empty and cold, but at least he had his choice of seat whilst he waited for the train, which according to the timetable was due in about five-to-ten minutes. He sat in the uncomfortable, metal, red chair and stuffed his hands in his pockets to keep them warm.
The train arrived smack on time and Mike boarded, again able to pick his seat for the long journey to the capital. Choosing a seat in the middle of a carriage and sitting by the window, the train jerked as its engines fired and the train began to move away from the terminal, Mike pulling out his mobile phone and checking to see if he had any messages. He didn't.
The train stopped a little over an hour into its journey and a few people boarded, but Mike paid no attention, his headphones stuck in his ears as he blasted only music he could hear. His attention broken by the boy sat in front who peered his curly blonde head over the top of the chair and watched Mike curiously, Mike doing his best at a friendly smile back at the boy, with his bright blue eyes, who smiled eagerly back.
Looking at his watch, which told him it was five-to-twelve, he looked again out of the window at the scenery that flashed by as the train jerked in rhythm to the sound the wheels made on the track, the trees flashing by so quick it almost made his go dizzy. He stopped the music that was coming through his headphones as it was beginning to drone on now and give him an headache, letting the earpieces fall to his chest and hang loosely.
The voice over the tannoy told the passengers of the train that the next stop would be London, city centre. Making sure he had all his things, even checking his pockets twice, and especially making sure his return ticket home was safe in a zipped up pocket, he was ready for when the train pulled into the terminal.
He looked around the platform, his stomach tensed at the feeling of being so far from home, people that passed by looked at him strangely as he just stood and looked around the station, the train doors hissed behind him as they closed and its engine suddenly came back to life and the train began to move away. No escape. He started moving for the exit, following the signs overhead he managed to find an information point too, to double check the train times for home to make sure he was there in plenty of time.
Leaving the station and moving down the street, trying his hardest to remember the directions Jason had given him to get to the bar, suddenly wishing he had written them down now. Checking his watch, one-fifteen, he was late as they had agreed to meet at one, but hey, it was the trains fault. His watch had gone one-thirty-five by the time he found the bar, and stood before it, now extremely nervous, but he had come this far...
He walks into the bar, some pop song blaring out, he recognised the song as: Hard to beat, by Hard-Fi, and he looked around the bar, smelling the putrid scent of nicotine in the air, studying faces to see if he could tell who he was meant to be meeting, maybe he had missed him, he was late. Then there he was, coming from the toilet, their eyes meeting and Mike suddenly realized he'd been set up, tricked, whatever you want to call it, but the guy just smiled. Fuck that smile. Suddenly he regretted everything he had ever said in his E-mails to him. Mike looked at him and said his name aloud:
"Danny."
A few seconds passed as they just stood before one another, Mike not believing what he was seeing, had he really agreed to meet him, what only seemed like a short time stood there was longer, Danny was moving towards him saying something that Mike was too wrapped up in his own world to make out.
"You look like you could use a drink, mate," Danny said, smiling and directing his head toward the bar in a follow me manner. Turning to the barman he asks, "A glass of water, please." He turns back to Mike and motions for him to sit himself down on a stool at the bar whilst he waited for his drink, which the barman brought over and placed in front of Mike,
"Eighty pence, please," the barman drawls as Danny digs out his wallet and hands him some change, as Mike gulps the water down and puts the glass back on the bar empty.
"You okay? You look a little pale?" Danny points out to Mike who was still having trouble dealing with this sudden shock.
"Could use a pint," Mike says, his first words to Danny Jones were summoning alcohol. Classic, Mike, just brilliant, he thought to himself.
"Anything in particular?" Danny looks at all the pumps on the bar and so does Mike, seeking something to his taste. And spotting it right at the end of the bar.
"Carling." The barman was already waiting as Danny ordered the drinks.
"Two pints of carling, please, mate." The guy wonders off to the other end of the bar to get their drinks and Danny looks at Mike, who was looking around the bar to see who else was there, but the place in fact was rather quiet.
"It's always like this. that's why I arranged to meet you here," Danny says noticing Mike's roaming eyes around the place. The silence seemed too tense every time, thank god for barmen.
"There you go," the barman says more to himself, neither Danny nor Mike really paying that much attention to him, as he adds up the charge on the till, "That's four-fifty," he says. Danny again digs out his wallet and hands the man a five pound note, and a few seconds later receiving his change.
"You fancy something to eat?" Danny asks.
"Yeah." Mike replies eagerly, having not eaten since those cornflakes this morning.
"Come on, we'll get a table first." Danny starts walking towards the back of the bar where they were a few tables set out, but rather than sitting in the open opts to sit in one of the booths. Mike sitting opposite.
"So...not what you expected, eh?" Danny asks playfully, grinning wildly at his own comment.
"Not exactly," Mike replies, trying his most confident of voices as to pretend not to be star struck. "I feel a bit foolish about some of those E-mails now though."
"So you said some embarrassing things..."
"I said I had a crush on you!"
"Do I look bothered?" Danny smiles in a comforting way. "I'm kind of used to people saying that. And I don't mean to sound too egotistical then either." Danny noticed Mike keep looking around the bar and especially at the door. "What's up?" he asks.
"Kind of waiting for the camera crew to show up and say `got'cha' you know?" Mike says, Danny letting the comment pass by as if it hadn't been said.
"I mean the last person I expected to meet when I walked into this place was you." Mike continued.
"But you wouldn't want to change the company now, huh?" Danny asks back.
"Not a chance." Mike takes a drink of his pint. "So d'you meet fans that write homo-erotic stories about you often?"
"You're the first," Danny says, turning the glass in front of him with his left hand.
"But why? I mean I'm not complaining, but you could meet anyone. So why me?" Danny sat back, and looked at the guy in front of him, thinking over his question before answering.
"To tell you the truth, I don't know. I guess to meet the guy who could write a story like that about me in a way, see what he's like and stuff," Danny took a mouthful of his drink.
"And?...what do you think?"
"He's all right, suppose once he relaxes he'll get more chatty," Danny grins.
"Sorry. I'm not that used to meeting people I'm a fan of and have written about, so I'm feeling a little perplexed here."
"Just relax mate. You're here now so enjoy yourself," Danny was being sincere. "You know I hear the chips here are really good. You fancy sharing some with me?"
"Sure. After all you're paying." Danny gets up and goes to the bar leaving Mike sat alone for a few seconds, and whilst alone takes the chance to look around the bar again. But mainly keeps his eyes locked on Danny. Meeting people off the internet wasn't so bad after all, he thought with a smirk.
They had been chatting for a while when the huge dish of chips arrived, Mike, now feeling relaxed, was beginning to enjoy the company of Danny. They dug in, leaving the forks that had come with the dish and using their fingers to wolf down the chips, each as hungrily as the other.
"So do you write stories like that about all the guys you have a crush on?" Danny asks, seemingly unfazed by the subject manner.
"Nah, you're the prototype. Besides, I kind of had the honour of being the first on that site of writing anything about you." he shrugged off any indication of the fact that he may be embarrassed about talking about a guy he had fictionally had sex with.
"So no plans to write another?" Danny says, shovelling another few chips into his mouth.
"Nope, that one was a royal bitch to write, and it took me ages."
"So you wouldn't carry it on?" He sees Mike shake his head disapprovingly. "Not even if I asked you to?" Mike wonders where he was going with this.
"Begged you?" Danny adds seeing Mike's look of thought.
"I'd consider it." Mike says, wanting to get off the subject.
"Well, in my opinion I think you should. I want to know what happens next?"
"Use your imagination." Mike says flatly.
"I'd rather use yours and read about it." Danny shoves another chip in his mouth and swills it down with another mouthful of his larger.
"I don't know. Ryan stalks him, Danny gets a restraining order against him and Ryan, consumed by lust, takes an overdose of sleeping pills to stop the aching in his heart for Danny. That do anything for you?" Mike says bluntly.
"No! come on, you got to do better than that...can't they have a `happily ever after' ending?"
"You seriously want me to write another chapter?" Mike asks, taking a drink and finishing the last of it, puts the empty glass back on the table.
"Yes. Do it for me. I'll beg if I have to, but I promise, it won't be pretty if I do," Danny says, a hint of humour in his voice.
"I'll do it on one condition," Mike looks at Danny, who raises his eyebrows and listens intently. "We don't talk about that story for the rest of the day," again Mike looks to Danny for his approval of his term.
"All right." Danny agrees, then taking the last half-mouthful of Carling that was in the bottom of the glass, he nods to Mike's empty glass, "You want another?"
"Why not."
The rest of the day was filled with drinking and talking about anything and everything, from music to guitars, which was mainly a Danny sided only conversation, but Mike listened anyway. And Mike got to ask the really juicy questions that all fans wished they could ask their idols, but more importantly asked so he could make the character of Danny a bit more real in the next chapter of his story, which he was writing all afternoon in his head, and in the message facility on his mobile phone.
Finally, when it came time for Mike to leave, Danny gave him a friendly hug, even though Mike was ready just to give him a friendly handshake. But he preferred Danny's method. And then made his way back to the station, safe in the knowledge that he Danny were going to chat sometime soon on the internet again.
The train journey home was pleasant and he read a magazine he had bought from a newsagent when he had gotten to the station on the way, some gossip mag that specialized on invading the private life's of celebrities and rated everything new from movies to music, and had that weeks television listings in the middle. When he finally got back to his home town, and had walked the short distance back to his house the time was nearing two o'clock and the only thing on his mind was going straight to bed, and he fell asleep within a few minutes. After all it had been a long day, and he did feel quite drunk.
It wasn't until after dinner the next day when he finally got out of bed and went straight downstairs to the kitchen to get a glass of water, his mouth feeling bone dry and his head feeling a little worse for wear. His clothes from yesterday now feeling a little irritating and his hair itchy from yesterday's gel that was now dry and hard. Gulping down the water, he goes over to the cupboard and finds some paracetamol's and takes two of them and finishes the water to help the pills go down easier. The afternoon sun burned his eyes that were ultra sensitive and sore, from lack of sleep and the amount of times he had rubbed them on the train home, due to his tiredness. It's all relative really.
He turned the taps of the shower and put his hand under the stream of water a few times to check the temperature wasn't too hot or cold, then removed the clothes from his body and stepped under the jet of warm water. The water ran down his body and the plug hole gulped it down noisily, he soaped his body and shampooed his hair, his hand finally finding his genitals and playing with them idly. He had neglected them for a few days now, but was going to catch up, and he had a fresh image of Danny in his head to dream about while he played with himself for a few minutes, the warm water running down his body only improving the feelings and bringing on his climax quicker.
He walked backwards and forwards in front of his computer for the best part of twenty minutes, his mind working over the story in his head, the one he had promised Danny. Time to deliver a promise. He sat down and opened up a new document, unlike last time, he had everything planned.
Ryan laid on his bed, looking up at the ceiling and letting his mind wonder.
The cursor blinked a few times before Mike continued.
It had been nearly a month now since Danny had left that morning, but Ryan's feelings for him hadn't changed. in fact, they'd gotten worse. And everything seemed to keep reminding him of Danny, almost like life was playing a very cruel trick on him. Every time he flicked through the music channels on his TV sure enough he would find one of McFly's videos playing, walking through shops, posters promoting their new album were plastered everywhere. Even his friends seemed to be in on it too, especially Cassie. She had none stop quizzed him about the concert, asking everything from the atmosphere of the crowd to a song by song listing of what they played. But Ryan had kept his promise to Danny, he hadn't told a soul about how he had gotten home that night, and especially about what happened when he got home.
A tube covered in plastic stood against the far wall, yet to be opened, it was Ryan's guilty pleasure that he had bought last Saturday for himself. The poster was of McFly. But in this poster, and this was the reason he had treated himself to buying it in the first place, was because Danny looked simply irresistible on it. In some black pants and a leather jacket, stood between Tom and Dougie, and with his eyes looking so sweet, Ryan had almost been put under a spell by those eyes to buy it.
He hadn't bought it because he finally felt he was beginning to get over Danny, quite the opposite actually. He had bought it because in his mind he thought, if you can't beat it, enjoy it. Lifting his left hand idly, he points the remote he was holding within it in the general direction of his hi-fi turned on some music, then let his hand drop back numbly onto the bed with a thump, Metallica's S & M album begins to play softly in the room.
The phone rang startling Ryan out of his trance of miming the words to the songs as they played, turning the volume down he leans over from his laying position and takes the phone of its little stand, pressing the button to accept the call while bringing it to his ear, recognizing Cassie's excited voice at once, as she practically screams down the phone.
"Cassie, slow down I can't understand a word..." he started. "Never," he says as she says something back. "Really, two weeks, that soon," he sat up and listened intently. "Sure, of course. I'd love to. [Cassie speaks] Yeah, I loved it last time." he listens as she waffles on and on. "Cassie I gotta go but call round tomorrow and we'll talk about it then okay." he listens again. "Yeah, I'll see you tomorrow, bye." she says her farewell. "Bye."
He hangs up the phone and leans back down to put it back in its docking station, smiling brightly to himself, he couldn't wait for tomorrow.
The day had arrived and Ryan was excited. Cassie had told him two weeks ago when she had called around that she had won two tickets to see the next McFly concert that played nearest to where she lived, and that concert was taking place tonight. She had asked Ryan to come along with her for the comfort of having her best friend along for the ride with her. And Ryan had agreed for his own reasons of being able to ogle at Danny for the duration of the concert, it was a win - win situation on both counts.
Cassie drove, which was a comfort for Ryan, who dreaded ever taking a train to a concert again. This also meant they could set off a tad later, they only had about sixty miles to travel to the venue, which Cassie blasted out McFly to all the way there. The car park was rammed and they eventually found a spot quite near the entrance, quite near meaning a five minute walk, but it was the closest they could get.
The entire venue was full. Girls screaming, and what looked like their boyfriends that had been dragged along filled the atmosphere, and made it quite electric.
Cassie joined in the screaming along with all the other girls as the lights dimmed and the guys came on stage, a deafening noise that must have sounded totally awful from on stage where the guys were. Ryan's eyes quickly fixed on Danny, where they would stay for pretty much the next two hours.
Ryan figured they must be about halfway through their set when they left the stage after nearly an hour, and Cassie was enjoying herself. Stuffing her camera back into her bag, she turns to Ryan.
"This is awesome," she enthuses. "You having a good time?"
"The best," Ryan replied, smiling eagerly.
"How does it compare to the last time you saw them?" she asks.
"This one's better," he practically shouted, the noise still loud.
Danny stood handing something to one of the security guys, telling him something as Tom approached him. As Tom got to them the security guy took off taking with him whatever Danny had given him.
"What'cha doin'?" Tom questions playfully. Danny just smiles and answers, "Causin' my mischief." They had said these same lines to one another now for so long they had become second nature, along with numerous other phrases that they toyed with each other with in private.
"Well, back on stage in two, `Kay!" Tom says as he makes his way backstage to get ready for the second half of their set.
"'Kay!" Danny says, his eyes looking to where the security guard had left.
They began the second half of their set, and Ryan and Cassie watched in usual fashion as screaming girls continued their onslaught of vocal pollution. Just starting their second song on stage the security guard, which had left Danny just minutes before came walking down the aisle towards Ryan, and pulled him to one side for a chat...
"I've been told to give you this," the security guard hands Ryan a card on some nylon thread, which acted as a sort of chain to put around his neck. Ryan looked down at the card and saw that it was a backstage pass to meet the band after the show, he was stunned to say the least. He looked at the guard in puzzlement.
"Just doing what I've been asked to do," he says, almost as if he could read the question Ryan was about to ask. He takes off quickly after leaving Ryan stood down the middle of the aisle and he looked down the row to where Cassie was still watching the show.
He joined her again and she looked at him funny, as in what was all that about, but Ryan just did as she did and watched the rest of the show intently, until finally it ended, and to a thunderous applause and very loud cheering.
"Cass," Ryan looks at her unsure how to say anything.
"I know," she says smiling. "I saw."
"You don't mind?" he says, trying his best to look sorry.
"Nah, go on. I'll wait in the car," she says and walks past him, leaving him stood there, stunned. "Go..." she says seeing him stood there motionless. Ryan looked at all the other teenage girls staring daggers at him, knowing what the security guard had given him, and what was now stuffed deep within his pocket. He starts to make his way, slowly, to the backstage area.
Danny sits waiting, hoping against hope that Ryan would accept his invitation, unaware that he had walked up behind him and been watching him for what must have been thirty seconds,
"You know this pass says I get to meet the whole band," Ryan says shocking Danny out of his tense posture.
"Ryan, you came?" Ryan shrugs his shoulders and then grabs the pass that was now hanging from around his neck,
"Always was a sucker for a freebie," that comment makes Danny smile.
"Didn't know how else to make you come backstage," Danny says quickly.
"So giving me a backstage pass seemed like a good idea, especially when I was right in the middle of a group of girls who looked like they were gonna kill me to get their hands on it."
"Sorry." he says apologetically and does one of his sorry faces making Ryan smile.
"So...any special reason you invited me backstage to meet a quarter of the band?" Danny thinks for a second before coming out with what he hoped would seem like a cute answer.
"Just wondered if you needed a lift home?" he grins at his own remark.
"Suppose I could, on one condition."
"Which is...?
"I want to meet the band," he replies again taking the pass between his fingers making sure Danny noticed, "I mean its not everyday you get an all access pass to meet a band, and no way in hell am I gonna miss the chance."
"Okay, but you'll have to wait five minutes, the guys are taking a shower and stuff." Ryan raises his eyebrows and gives Danny a playful look at his remark,
"Hmmmmnnn, please let me meet them now," he says playfully and walks up to Danny and leans in to kiss him, to which Danny retracts,
"Not here, there's people about. Wait `til we're alone, doofus!" Ryan takes his mobile phone from his pocket and starts writing a text message, which Danny notices.
"Who you texting?" he probes.
"Cassie, she's waiting out in the car park. Better tell her to head off home if I'm getting a lift home from you, hadn't I?" he replies, his fingers typing the message into his phone as fast as he could make them move.
"You're not telling her you're getting a lift home from me are you?" Danny asks, looking worried.
"Nah, I'll just put I'm getting a lift home from someone here after you guys have finished with me." He finishes writing the message and looks up at Danny, who still looked as good two months on from their last encounter. Had it really been that long? To Ryan it sure didn't feel like it. They began making their way to where the guys were placed backstage, Danny leading but Ryan at his side.
"So, how you been?" Danny asks, breaking the silence.
"Okay. You?"
"Touring, which has been fun."
"You miss me?" Ryan asks, hoping his answer will be the same as he felt towards Danny.
"I've thought about you. Quite a lot actually. Probably more than I should have, how about you, you thought about me at all?"
"Everyday. Guess it's worse for me. I mean you don't go shopping and see me on posters and album covers and stuff. It's kind of hard to get away from you," Ryan says, his eyes meeting Danny's as he retorts with a sweet `Awww'
"Glad to know someone cares," he looks around before hugging Ryan, making sure no-one was about.
Everywhere backstage seemed to be deserted, that's until a door opens to their left, the one with the sign on it that reads: McFly. Harry sticking his head out and seeing the two giggling to themselves as they approached.
"Ah, Ryan, this is Harry," and Harry gives a half wave as a means of introduction.
"Was just gonna come looking for you, showers free. So this is Ryan, huh? Heard a lot about you from Danny-boy here, won't shut up about you," Harry laughed at the look upon Danny's face, the look of utmost horror, he clearly wasn't have supposed to have said that.
"Awww," Ryan mocked Danny, imitating him to perfection.
"Cheers, Harry," Danny's disgruntling look at Harry told the whole story.
"Anytime, lover boy," he continues his assault on Danny. "Anyway, me and Dougie are off for a drink, so we'll catch you later." Leaving the door wide open for Danny, Harry makes his way down the corridor and round the corner where Danny hears the familiar voice of Dougie, who must've been waiting around there for him.
"Come on then, I'll introduce you to Tom. Have to let you meet Dougie later," Danny leads into the dressing room-come-activity room. The entire room was decked out with computer games and software, a leather couch in front of the TV, which had a DVD player underneath it. A pool table at the back of the room, and even a dart board. The hi-fi played soft music from the corner, something Tom must've been listening to...speaking of Tom, he came walking from the shower room or whatever was through the door that he had just emerged from, a towel drying his hair, his grey t-shirt wet at the collar where he hadn't dried himself properly before putting it on.
"Tom," Danny says stopping Tom dead in his tracks. "This is Ryan," he continues, as Tom lowers the towel from his head to see Danny and Ryan stood in the room, both glaring at him.
"Oh, hey!" he walks over to Ryan and shakes his hand. "Heard quite a bit about you from Danny." Tom turns his attention to Danny. "So this is the mischief you were causin'?" he grins at Danny.
"Something like that. How comes you're not going with Dougie and Harry?"
"I'm knackered, I'm going to the hotel and going to bed," he throws the towel into a basket that was beside the door to the shower room, good shot. "I'll catch you later," he says to Danny. "And pleasure to meet you," he directs at Ryan.
"You too," Ryan replies.
"Catch you later," Danny says as Tom leaves the room, closing it on his way out.
"So have you told them about what happened between us?" Ryan asks Danny.
"They know," Danny says as he heads around the couch and sits down, Ryan following.
"And? How do they feel about it?" Ryan sits down and Danny kicks his trainers off and swings his feet up onto Ryan's lap.
"They're cool with it. They're just glad I'm happy."
"How long have they known?"
"About us?" Danny asks puzzled.
"No. about you batting for the other team, silly?"
"Since pretty much we started living together, I mean it was only a matter of time before they figured it out anyways. So I just told them, and they were cool with it."
"And about us? Are they cool with that?" Ryan asks as Danny lays down fully on the couch, putting his head onto the arm, and closing his eyes.
"They're not bothered," Danny says coolly. Ryan starts running his hand up Danny's jean clad leg, then back down and removes his socks, letting them fall to the floor after he has removed them. Taking Danny's feet off his lap he pulls his feet up onto the couch and crawls up on top of Danny, who opens his eyes to meet Ryan's.
"Man I've missed you," Danny says softly, moving his hand to the back of Ryan's head and pulling him down for their first kiss in two months. The feeling ran through Ryan's body like electricity, he'd missed this feeling for so long, and he yearned for more. Feeling Danny's tongue roam his mouth, as his soft lips massaged against his, this felt as close to heaven as Ryan could imagine he would ever get without dying. Danny's hands moving up the sides of his body underneath his t-shirt, his soft hands warm and friendly to his skin. Ryan fumbled his hands on Danny's pants trying to get them to open without breaking the kiss, which he couldn't do, Danny just as eager as Ryan for him to get his pants off, broke the kiss and took his hands out of Ryan's t-shirt to help him undo the button and zip, then quickly resumed his assault, his tongue slipping straight back into Ryan's mouth and his hands straight back into his t-shirt, only this time making their way up Ryan's back.
Ryan put his hand into Danny's pants, caressing the lump underneath his boxers, which was becoming harder as Ryan rubbed at it with increased vigour, Danny moaning into Ryan's mouth at the sensations he was causing down in his pants. Pulling Ryan's t-shirt up his body, Ryan had to relinquish his hand from Danny's pants so the shirt could be fully removed, and Danny just threw the shirt anywhere not really caring where it landed.
Ryan leaving Danny's pants for a few seconds whilst he removed the hot singers shirt and like he had done with his, Ryan threw the shirt across the room, and then renewed their kissing. Throwing all their passions into kissing one another and letting their hands roam over each others naked torsos, only breaking the kiss off to remove each other pants, and lay back down on the couch in just their underwear, Ryan still with his socks on, but not that they needed removing.
"Danny?" Ryan says, the first chance that their lips aren't together.
"Yeah," Danny says back, his lips gently kissing at Ryan's neck. His right hand moving down Ryan's back and his fingers slipping underneath the waistband of his boxers.
"Do you love me?" Everything went unusual, Danny stopped dead, his lips mid-kiss on his neck. Danny lays down and looks up into the blue eyes of Ryan, who waited for his answer, patiently.
"Yes."
"Really? You're not just saying that?" Ryan holds his gaze into Danny's eyes who shows no sign of lying.
"Yeah, I do." Ryan grinned the wildest and widest grin he had in a long time, the happiness Danny had just brought to him visible as he lowered his head and kissed Danny. Breaking the kiss Ryan says to his lover, "I love you too." Danny smiled and raised his head back into Ryan's neck and bit at the flesh softly, only letting go so Ryan could move down his body, kissing him in various spots as he makes his slow descent to his waistline.
Pulling Danny's boxers down his legs and finally off, he lets them fall down to the front of the couch and lets his tongue explore Danny's hardened cock for a few seconds, Danny's moans only spurring Ryan to continue his expedition. Letting his tongue slide up the back of Danny's erection before taking it in his mouth and sucking slowly and softly, Danny just laying back with his eyes closed enjoying the feeling.
Putting his finger under Ryan's chin, Danny lifts Ryan's head and stops him sucking.
"I believe I owe you one?" Danny says, grinning, remembering that the last time they had been together Ryan hadn't gotten to release himself.
"You owe me two," Ryan beams. "But one for now will do." Bringing Ryan back up to his level with his finger under his chin Danny kisses him.
"Then I guess that means it's my turn." Moving his hand to Ryan's cock to make sure he was hard, he strokes it a few times before stopping and speaking to Ryan softly.
"You remember how I did you?" he asks.
"I haven't dreamed about anything else," Ryan states. Ryan moved his body into position, and Danny prepared himself for what was coming...
"If it feels uncomfortable just tell me and I'll stop, okay?" Ryan says, remembering the exact words Danny had used right before he had taken Ryan's virginity. Funny how things come full circle. Danny just stares at him, he also remembering the phrase, and just dignifies him with an humorous response.
"Ryan. Take it easy on me, it is my first time..." Danny grins as Ryan remembers the words all too clearly.
"Bastard," he retorts, grinning as he pushes softly, Danny showing no sign of discomfort. "You sure this is your first time?" he questions.
"Well...with a real person," he puts his tongue onto his top lip in a cheeky manner. Pushing a little further, this time Danny showing some response, but not much. Maybe he was being serious about that last remark. A little further, just another push and...
"Ahhhh," Danny moans. Ryan looks at Danny in wonder, Danny noticing his wonder lust stare.
"What?" Danny asks curiously.
"Nothing. Just never thought at the beginning of today that by the end of it I'd be inside Danny Jones."
"Well, how about we change that to: by the end of today you'd have shagged Danny Jones," he says, his hands rubbing Ryan's arse, wanting him to carry on.
"Made love to," Ryan corrects him.
"Whatever. Come on man, I'm horny here." Never a better set of words spoken in Ryan's mind. He slowly begins to gyrate his hips, moving slowly in and out of Danny who just laid back and enjoyed being fucked, for the first time - and by a real person, he might add.
Ryan never thought he could've enjoyed being inside another person so much, every moan was like an encouragement for him to go faster. Harder. Christ he was in heaven. Danny's face a picture of ecstasy and fulfilment, Ryan would forever have that image of him burned into his memory.
Danny demanded that Ryan didn't stop, didn't pull out. He wanted him stained inside him, just like he had Ryan, he wanted Ryan to know how fulfilling and erotic it felt to orgasm inside someone you love. And that fulfilment was coming soon, he could tell by the delight on Ryan's face, his heavy breathing filled with sexual energy, and Danny wanted it, yes did he want it.
Ryan pushed in as hard as he could, his eyes closed, his senses filled with nothing but Danny. And it was driving him wild, he couldn't last much longer, but he was going to enjoy it. His first time at ever making love to someone and he was going to...he was...he had. His body felt weak, his skin slick with sweat, his breathing fast and Danny underneath him had the same satisfied look on his face. Nothing could ever be as good as this, could it?
They laid together in each others arms for time, not caring to know how long, just happy to be with one another. Ryan on his side at the edge of the couch, his head on Danny's chest, listening to his heart thump within.
"Ryan?" Danny spoke softly.
"Yeah?"
"We have to get up," Danny says sadly. "They'll be coming to clear the room out soon." Ryan moaned a displeasured moan, he didn't want to move. He liked everything just like it was.
"Two more minutes," he says, and breathes in deeply, the aroma of Danny's sweat enticing his senses.
After another ten minutes of lying together Danny decides to move, much to Ryan's displeasure, who rolls on top of him and sits on Danny's midriff, and Danny casts him a look.
"Come on, we haven't got time for playing," he says a little more authority like, but still smiling. "Ryan!" He grabs Ryan by the waist and pushes hard, Ryan falling off the couch onto his back, Danny's momentum taking him straight on top of Ryan.
"Oof," Ryan grunts. Danny grinning now he suddenly had the upper hand and was laid full length on top of Ryan.
Ryan had a certain playfulness in his eyes and reaches up with his right hand and lets the back of his finger rub on Danny's left cheek, before he starts singing, badly too.
You're a work of art You're the Trevi Fountain You're a golden heart You're the highest mountain. You bring me flowers every day of my life You save me from the worry and the strife. Danny puts a finger to Ryan's lips. "I get where that's going," he says. "And that was really something. I don't know what to say."
"Ryan, you're a crap singer, don't give up your day job!" Ryan says, his lips turning into a smile.
"I love you," Danny gushes.
"Or that."
"Although I still haven't quite figured out who sang that originally," he muses, the song was familiar.
"How'd you know I didn't just make that up on the spot?" Ryan says disappointingly.
"'Cause I've heard it somewhere before."
"Holly Johnson. Songs called: Love Train. First song I thought of," Ryan tells him.
"Well, I love it, and I love you," Danny says as he leans down and kisses him
Finally letting Ryan up after tickling him and making him admit that Danny was his master, they got dressed and took off from the room, Danny picking up Tom's watch from the shower room after they had both showered, which he had left earlier, Danny making some comment about how Tom always forgot things.
They got a ride home from a car that was specifically there to take Danny back to the hotel, Ryan tagging along at the request of Danny, not that he was going to complain or argue. Once at the hotel Ryan mainly did the following up to Danny's room, and once Danny had the door open he was dragging Ryan into a hug and closing the door with his foot with an almighty slam.
"You don't mind if I take you home tomorrow do you?" Danny says breaking the hug and the mood.
"Whenever you're ready..."
"Never then," Danny replies slyly. "Its just I really want to spend the night with you." Wow. Had Ryan just heard right, Danny wanted to spend the night with him? Then again Ryan wanted to spend the rest of his life with Danny so he guessed it was a fair trade.
"I'm all yours," Ryan tells Danny, who kisses the end of Ryan's nose softly, leaving the faintest of wet patches at the end.
"Trust me," Danny starts, "After tonight, you're never going to want to leave this hotel room..." he sounded so, well, so fucking hot.
"What you got in mind?" Ryan asks. Danny just grins at him. Whatever it was Ryan couldn't wait...
The End.
Danny sits with his laptop open in front of him, he was staying in some posh hotel in Leeds, he'd asked Mike to come and join him a few days earlier as soon as he found out he was going to be pretty close to where Mike lived and had E-mailed him straight away, asking if he wanted to meet up again. Mike had jumped at the chance. Mike had waited patiently in the lobby of the hotel until Danny had come back from some errand with the band in the city centre, and then they had gone up to his room. And that's when Mike had told Danny he had written the second chapter to the story, and had brought the disc with him. Danny had nearly broken Mike's hand taking it from him and setting up his laptop on the side and pulling up a chair and then reading the story patiently, Mike stood nervously behind him watching him scroll the pages down until he was finally reading the last few lines. Mike waited for Danny's opinion.
"I like it," Danny says closing the laptop. "You've done good."
"Glad you like it," Mike responds, relieved to hear Danny's positive view on the story.
"I guess I owe you something in return..." Danny grinned, his features looking most mischievous. Getting up from the chair, he advances on Mike quickly. Pulling himself into Mike that nearly knocked him off his feet. Danny's hand caressing the front of Mike's jeans, and Mike just stood completely still, not quite believing this could (and was) happening.
"Danny..." Mike tries to push Danny away but to no avail. "What're you doing?" he asks.
"Giving you what you want," he moves in closer, to almost kissing distance, Mike feeling his warm breath. "I'm letting you know what happens to Ryan at the end of the story," he adds.
Danny pushes Mike hard. Mike stumbling backwards, his legs catch the foot of the bed and he falls flat on his back, his feet still on the floor. Danny quickly straddling on top of him so he doesn't get up.
Mike couldn't move under the weight of Danny, not that he really wanted to, Christ his dreams were coming true. His mind told him to give in, to let Danny do whatever, Danny even had that sexy smile on his face that Mike loved so much. Fuck it, Mike thought, whatever happens, happens...who said writing a story never came to anything...
The End.
