Chapter 2
I couldn't stop thinking about that kiss. I didn't have any other classes with Randy that day and he left school for a doctor's appointment, or at least that's what I heard later.
Everyday after school "The Group" met in the commons area of the high school. "The Group" consisted of myself and my six friends Kelly, Amanda, Maria, Allison, Crystal, Jessica S., and sometimes Jessica A. a.k.a. Lucy. That day I was talking to Crystal about what had happened and she asked me why I was crying in the first place.
"Oh my God, Crystal. This guy that I liked just found out that I liked him and he accepted that!!! Not to mention the fact that he obviously wanted to be with me. ME not someone else, but me for who I am not for something that I pretend to be. You know when the last time that happened to me was? Never. Not once has anyone wanted to be with me for me, they always wanted someone else," I couldn't help myself, I get really worked up about things sometimes. "So, now do you see why I was crying in the first place?"
That was when I actually looked around me. Everyone had stopped their own conversations and was now looking at me. They were used to my outbursts by now, but I guess I didn't realize that, one, I was almost in tears, and two, that I was being louder than normal.
"Um, yeah I guess I do. I didn't realize that Randy had that much of an impact on you," Crystal finally said after an awkward silence.
I was still looking around to make sure that no one outside of the "Group" had heard me. I didn't see anyone so I calmed myself down and tried to think about things other than Randy.
"So who wants the pleasure of giving me a ride home tonight?" I was the one in the group that usually bummed a ride off of someone else because, of course, I had no wheels.
"I will, gladly," someone said from behind me on my left.
I couldn't recognize the voice for a split second, then I knew who it was. I had to force my legs to turn themselves around to look at his face. It was Randy. I was shocked speechless. How much had he heard me say? Did he hear my little drama queen speech? Oh my God!!! I was so nervous that if someone had blown lightly on my shoulder at that moment then I think I would have fallen over.
"Um... Uh... err... I.. uhh...," no words would come out of my mouth. I don't know whether I was still shocked from him being there or from him offering me a ride.
"Hi Randy!!! I thought you were at a doctor's appointment. What happened?"
Thank God!!! Crystal had gotten his attention off of me for a couple of seconds. I could breathe.
"I went over there and I guess he had some family emergency or something so he canceled our appointment." He then turned back towards me. " So do you still want a ride?"
I think I was ready to die. I still couldn't speak to him.
"He'll go. Besides all the rest of us have to go somewhere right now." I couldn't keep myself from glaring at Allison. You know one of those "I'll get you back later" glares?
"Okay, cool. Come on Danny my Jeep is in the teacher`s parking lot. I didn't feel like going all of the way to the back of the parking lot and taking forever to get out of here."
With that he started walking towards the teacher's parking lot and all that I could do was glare at Allison and follow Randy to his Jeep. I walked behind him for two reasons. The firs was because I was still kind of shy around him and the second was because that boy had a nice ass! We got to his Jeep and he pulled up to the passenger side and opened the door for me. Stupid me, all that I did was turn beet red and mumble a thanks. After he got in and put his backpack in the back seat he turned on the ignition and pulled out of the parking lot.
"You can just throw your bag in the back, it's not like I am going to bite you or anything." He said the last part with an evil little grin.
I tossed my backpack into the back, snapped my seat belt in, and made myself comfortable in the seat.
"Umm, Randy?" I managed to speak, I had gotten up the courage to talk to him.
"Yeah, what's up?"
"Well I was, uh wondering... how much of what I said did you hear?"
"Do you really want to know?"
I nodded.
"All of it. I had decided to come back and see if you wanted to go get something to eat with me. I guess I only wanted to talk to you. To see how you were doing. I got there just in time to hear the tail end of Crystal's question so I just stayed where I was and told everyone else to not say anything about me being there. I was almost in tears myself. I didn't realize that I meant that much to you either I guess. And I didn't really see how I could be the first person to ever want to be with you. So I kind of just stayed quiet long enough to dry my eyes and waited for you to say something that I could use as my cue."
I sat there not saying anything for a while. Could this guy be for real? I mean, he was perfect. I thought for a second that I might have fallen into a coma or something and was dreaming. I pinched my arm just to make sure. Nope, it wasn't a dream I was still wide awake and riding down a country road. Wait. Driving down a country road? Where were we going?
"Hey Randy, where are we going? I thought we were going to my house."
"Oh, well I didn't know where you lived and I wanted to talk to you some more so I just started driving to my dad's house. He's at work and my parents are divorced so we can have some privacy. And if you want we can get some food over there too." The apologetic puppy dog look on his face melted my heart. I mean how could you ever get mad at a face like that?
"It's okay I was just wondering where we were going. I trust you. I..." My voice trailed off at that moment because he had parked the car in the driveway of a huge house and his eyes had met mine. I couldn't help but stare into his beautiful eyes.
"Come on, I'll show you around the house," Randy said as he grabbed both of our bags and headed for the front door.
I stepped through the front door, closed it and found myself in a large foyer. There was a set of stairs leading up to the second floor to my right, to my left was a closed door, and right in front of me about ten feet away was a doorway leading into what looked like the living room.
Randy went up the stairs two at a time and, reaching the top motioned for me to follow him. I followed suit and also took the stairs two at a time. When I reached the top I saw Randy going into a door that was at the end of a long hallway. I looked around the hallway as I walked to the door. It was adorned with a bunch of pictures of little kids and teenagers. I assumed that the pictures were of Randy and his older brothers when they were younger.
I was walking through the doorway and before I realized it, I walked into Randy causing us both to fall over onto his bed with me on top of him. I guess he was changing when I came in because I felt his bare chest against my hands. It was so hard and smooth. It was all that I could do to keep myself from bending my head down and kissing him all over his body. I think he knew that because what he did next embarrassed me, but also gave me some reassurance.
"Come on, Danny. There will be enough time for this later. Right now I need some food and besides, you haven't even asked if I'm a top or bottom yet." He said all of this with a devilish sneer in his voice.
I clumsily disentangled myself from him and watched as he pulled on a tie-dyed "4:20" t-shirt and then grabbed my hand and took me back downstairs through the well decorated living room into a neat and orderly kitchen. The stainless steel counters were accented by the pristine white tile on the floor and backsplash. There were also stainless steel shelves which held the dishes and a few knick knacks. There was also an stainless steel topped island in the middle of the large kitchen with four aluminum barstools around it.
"Take a seat," Randy said as he motioned to one of the seats. "So, you want anything to drink? We got water, Dr. Pepper, Coke, milk, or orange juice."
"Umm... I guess I'll take a water. I'm not much into soda."
"Okay, that's cool. Well, since I'll be taking you home later anyway, where do you live?"
"Oh, so NOW you ask," I replied mockingly. "You know the trailer park on Gold Street? Well, I live in number 25."
"Oh yeah, I know where that is. You live with your parents?"
"Hehehe. No, my parents are divorced and have been since I was, like, two.
That's perfectly fine with me, my mother is a complete bitch. I live with my dad, my dog, my uncle and our roommate. My dad is cool. He let's me do pretty much whatever I want to do as long as my chores are done. Our roommate, Shawn is really annoying though. He asks the stupidest questions and has the most obnoxious laugh in the world."
"Dude, it sucks to be you. Here you go."
He handed me a bottle of water and pulled himself out a can of Dr. Pepper.
"Thanks Randy. Um just out of curiosity, what were you thinking when Crystal told you that I, uh, liked you?"
"Haha, I don't remember what I was thinking to tell you the truth, for reasons that you can probably guess hahaha," with that Randy made a sucking sound with two fingers up at his lips as if he were smoking a joint. "But I do remember what I was feeling. I was really happy. I can't say that I was too surprised though because of our little `flirting sessions' throughout the year. I was just happy that you had said you liked me because I don't know if I would have done it. I've wanted to be with you so bad, but I just didn't have the courage to say anything to you. Because you know, if you didn't like me then I would be found out and well, I don't know, I just don't think that I am ready to put up with all of the shit that you do at school for being gay. You know what I mean?"
"Yeah, I know what you mean and I completely understand. I guess that I didn't have as much to lose as you did, but I think that I would have been completely shattered because of the fact that you are the first guy that I have ever had the courage to ask out."
At that moment I looked up and found his eyes locked onto mine. I don't know what it was about those eyes, but I never could get over them. This time I didn't get too long to stare into them though. Randy them leaned in and kissed me. Soft and sweet. The taste of Dr. Pepper was still fresh on his lips. I wanted to be with him, I want to wake up to him in the morning.
I think he read my mind because right at that moment Randy grabbed my hand once again leading me up to his bedroom As we entered he turned around, grabbed me, and pulled me onto his bed. A wave of passion that had obviously swept over Randy now crashed in on me. Our lips met in a frenzied kiss. It was amazing. All of the emotions that washed over me then were so pure. I knew that this was right.
I felt almost empty when he ended the kiss just long enough to take off his shirt. Then I saw his body. He was a Greek god. His finely chiseled abs proportioned perfectly to his muscular pecs. I couldn't wait. I jumped up and pinned him to the bed. I think that Randy was a little surprised, but other than that he did nothing in the form of resistance. I dove onto his nipple, sucking and gently nibbling on it. I could feel it as it hardened between my teeth. Randy let out a moan that could have been heard a couple miles away. I decided to torture him for a little bit and flicked my tongue over his nipple one last time and headed down towards his belly button.
That was when I heard the front door open.
"Oh shit," Randy muttered under his breath.
He kissed me one last time and then moved out from under me so that he could put his shirt on.
I could hear Randy talking to his father outside of the door. I got up, made sure that I looked half ass decent, and walked out of the bedroom.
"Hello Mr. Thomas, how are you doing?"
"Oh hello uhh.."
"Danny, sir."
"Hello Danny. How are you doing today?"
"I'm fine Mr. Thomas, thank you for asking," I replied. There's nothing wrong with trying to get a little brownie points with somebody's parents. Right?
"Hey, Danny, we have to get you home dude," Randy said. I had forgotten that he was there so when he said something I jumped. Both of them noticed and started to laugh. The only thing that I could do was turn a deep shade of scarlet.
"Okay, well it was nice to meet you Mr. Thomas. I'll see you later."
"Alright Danny. Good-bye."
"Bye."
As I left I saw a glance pass between the two Thomas men. It was one of those confusing "I know what you were doing and I hardily approve" kind of looks. I didn't say anything about it.
I hopped into the Jeep and waited for Randy to start it. And so it begins...
