Right Here Waiting Chapter One

DISCLAIMERs >>>>>>>>>

This story is a complete work of fiction and does not imply that in real life any of the backstreet boys are identical to any of the characters in this story. That means this story does not imply their sexual preference in any way, shape or form.

Also, do not read this if you are under 18 or if it is against the law in where you live.

Ok. Hey people. This is my first attempt at writing gay literature so dont view my sentence structure or whatever too harshly. Also, I'm busy at school so this story might sometimes take a while to be updated. And finally, this story isn't one of those more "Strait to the sex" stories, so dont be disapointed if thats what you're looking for. Thank you.

Chapter 1

"Ok. So someones threatening to kill the Backstreet Boys. Well, good for them." Anna glanced at the report spread out in front of her. The report on Green Security's newest client.

"Knock it off Anna. Do you have any idea of just how this important this case is to the firm? More importantly, do you know how important this case is to me? If Banks sees that we've screwed this up for him, both out asses are gonna be demoted." Chase, taking one final fed up look, walked out the door.

"Damn you Chase." Lifting a picture off of her desk, Anna let out a deep sigh. She had promised her family that vacation. Now, because of some obsessed teeny bopper stalker, she was stuck on a case she had no interest what so ever in. "Sorry kids, Mommy's stuck in another jammie." She set the picture back down.

"Anna? Uh...Chase said you needed to talk to me." The kid looked around the room nervously, careful not to look Anna directly in the eye. He knew to keep a safe distance when Anna was in one of her moods.

"Yeah Muscles. It looks like you and me are heading down to Orlando." To this day she refused to call him by his name, Tyler. It was always Muscles or Preppy or some other playful insult.

"Wait. You don't mean this weekend do you?" He really didn't have any plans for the particular weekend, except for one. To relax. Anna was always dragging him along on all of her cases, even more so this week. He mostly did the remedial work. Carrying anything heavy, checking out alarm systems, and accompanying paranoid domestic ladies who were too scared to go the the ice cream parlor all by themselves. Thats why he wasn't so excited about Orlando. There'd be no fun if Anna could help it.

"As a matter of fact. Yes. This weekend. Pack lighty. You'll be carrying both our luggage." She retured her focus to the picture. "I need you to pick up my kids from school. Is that a problem?"

"Oh no, not at all." It was his lunch break, but that wasn't a problem. Not at all. He started to turn around.

"Wait! Take this with you." Tyler turned around and reached over for the folder Anna held out to him. "Thats an overview of the case. Theres a phone number in there. Call the clients and have them know where we'll be staying, when we'll get there, our phone number, and anything else they might ask you. All the info is inside the folder. He knew it. Picking up her kids would be too easy. She had to throw in some extra work.

"Ok Anna. Anything else?" He hoped not.

"Thats all." Tyler turned around and walked out the door."

Kevin wiped the steam off of the mirror. He was tired and it showed. He hadn't slept all night due to the incredulous snoring of one Nicolas Gene Carter. He knew what he had gotten himself into when he had offered the extra bed. Nick was a handful. Still he had sympathysed for the sleeping blonde. Nick had been terrized all week by the thought of they psycho stalker whom had confronted him on more than a couple occasions.

It was all very expected to Kevin. He knew that living on a high pedastal would not last him for very long. Life always had a way of catching up. So, to get back at him for all his sucess, he was given a demon of equal proportion. This stalker would not be blown over quickly. The phone rang.

"Hello?" He hoped against hope it wasn't another mysterious phone call. Him and the guys had been getting them for weeks.

"Uh, yeah. Is this one of the Backstreet Boys?" Kevin paused.

"Yeah this is...Listen you freak, just leave us the hell alone! We don't want of your trouble." He paused again hoping for any type of responce. And idol threat would be more soothing than the eerie silence.

"Whoa...Whoa..Wait a minute. Sir, My name is Tyler."

"Tyler? Do I know you?" His voice took on a more pleasant tone.

"Nope. I'm with Green Security and ummm...Hold on a minute sir." Kevin could hear the unmistakable sound of childrens mischief in the backround. Green Security. He vaguely remembered the reference. Management had called for a security company as a precaution to keep their precious Backstreet Boys on their money-making North American tour. He took a seat at the table as he awaited the return of his gentleman caller. "Oh. Hello?"

"I'm here."

"I'm sorry about that. I've just got my hands a little full."

"Its alright. I'm the one who should be sorry. I mean...Things have just been a little bit hectic lately. I didn't mean to blow up on you like that."

"Oh its no problem. Really. I'm used to dealing with people in these situations."

"You mean you're used to dealing with Freak Shows?"

"I guess you could say that." Kevin smiled. It had been awhile since he'd had any real contact with the outside world. This guy seemed to be alright. "Ok, theres just a few things I have to run by you."

"Alrighty."

"We'll be setting up at the Mariott Hotel, which if I understand, should be less than a few miles from where you guys are."

"Will you be needing to follow us around everywhere?" Kevin didn't like the idea of having to hang out with a stranger all day.

"Not unless you feel its neccisary. We're basically going there to set up an investigation. Its roughly like Scooby Doo, but we use phone taps and stuff. However, if it does become neccisary, I'll probably be the one to escort you guys." Kevin couldn't help but feel a little insulted. By the sound of his voice and his reference to Scooby cartoons, this guy seemed newly out of high school. He was gonna be escorted by a kid.

"Oh. Alright. When will we be meeting with you guys?"

"Oh. I'm not so sure. Uh...We could work that out right now if you'd like."

"Sure...Well..The concert has been postponed a few days so we're kinda on break. You can just stop by our hotel anytime before next Tuesday."

"Thats great. Anna will probably want to start working right away."

"Who's Anna?" Kevin didn't mind keeping the conversation going a little longer.

"I guess you could say she's my superior. I'm sort of new here so I just do whatever she tells me to do. Right now I'm stuck in traffic bringing her kids home."

"Sounds fun."

"You bet. Oh crap. I'm getting another call. Umm. Ok. My cell phone number is (579) 555-5457. Thats just for future reference. I have to go now, so nice talking to you. And stay alive till we get there."

"I'll try." Kevin hung up the phone.

End of Chapter 1

Sorry for cutting this chapter a little short. I was just trying to get it out there so I could get a feel for whether or not I wanted to continue the story. Feel free to send any form of comments to johnnyco_ke@hotmail.com
