My name is Ethan and here is the story of a dream come true and true love found.

First a bit about myself I am 19 years old six feet tall 165 pounds with brown hair and emerald green eyes. I am a small town boy and as a result I have never been able to express my true feelings. you see I am gay and I have been aware of it since I was 10. Even going to college now the fear of discovery and retribution has made me hide my true feelings. I have never known love or been in love. I constantly deal with people saying how come such a cute young man is still not dating and with relatives trying to fix me up with this or that girl. I just play along like the good little straight boy but the ache I feel inside and the longing for a true love to come into my life and take me away from all the loneliness I feel. Well the Summer of 1999 was the beginning of the road to a new life and happiness for me and here is the story that changed my life.

I should start at the beginning and how I wandered into the path that changed my life. I was desperate to see my absolutely all time favorite band The Backstreet Boys. See I have had a secret crush on Nick Carter since elementary school. I was 2 years ahead of Nicky in school but I think I fell in love with his sweet smile the minute I saw it. I was always so shy and introverted in school no one ever noticed me anyway so I never really got to know him very well. All I know is their music is so awesome it starts my heart racing every time I hear it. Especially when Nicky sings I almost hear my heart melting. Well I had to see the show so I went to Buffalo sleeping bag in tow to camp out at the ticket office the night before the tickets went on sale. I got there and got what I thought was a good place in line. But little did I know that it would sell out in 21 minutes and I would get stuck with no ticket. I was so upset I sat down and cried into my sleeping bag. Now I would never get to see them. So I packed up my sleeping bag and went to my car and drove home.

This is the end of chapter 1 more to follow hopefully tell me what you think :)

Next: Chapter 2
