To those who've been reading Tales of Sol. I want you to know that while there is sex in this story. That is not is sole purpose and yes I do hope the sex sense makes you all hard and gets you off.
Sol is an adaption from my childhood favorite show Captain Planet and the Planeteers, The cartoon showed us that the world can be a better place if we took a few moments to care for it.
Tales of Sol is meant to express hope.
It is also shows how music can have an impact in our lives. While I don't know if my favorite bands 98 Degrees, Backstreet Boys or Nsync have ever read this. They saw me through some of the hardest moments of my life and offered in their own way hope. To them I say thank you.
I dedicate the Tales of Sol to all of my brothers and sisters of the US armed service past, present, and future.
I like to thank my friends who I had the privilege showing these chapters with. They helped with editing and inspiration, John Rivera, Albert-Russ Alan Rivera-Odum, Derbe.D. Hunte Yvette Ortiz Samuel Diaz Jr for all their help in Making The Tales of Sol an enjoyable story to write.
And I have a few other names starting with the beginner of this universe James the author of Tales of a Real Dark Knight. I still hope to reconnect with you dear friend and all the rest of this series.
Blake the author of Tales of a New Phoenix
Jeremi author of the Tales of Young Mutants

And now without any further ado I give you the next chapter of Tales of Sol.
The Tales of Sol 30 Eternal Peace
Dave and I got to the Lair Dana and Blaylock were still on the monitor having a video call with the Watcher's Council, "The Guardian is correct in his easement," The Watcher on the screen stated
"But we need to stop Elizar from raising that army of vampires," Blaylock countered
"Which can be done if we can free those trapped spirits the only reason Elizar can raise that army is because they are trapped it is the only way that spell will work," The Watcher reminded Blaylock
"I don't understand why you side with that amateur," Blaylock complained
"That amateur just moved the entire hangar that was over 900 feet from the Lair to its current spot above our head and he did because we need the room for you and Dana," Dave said
The Watcher who I now remembered was Joyce smirked "That is down right thoughtful of you Guardian,"
"It was the only problem I could solve," I somberly said then asked, "my question to you Joyce is how do we free those trapped spirits, it is my understanding that Elizar needs warrior's blood to complete the ritual?"
"Yes that is true and while we don't know where or how he plans to obtain the warrior's blood, we've have talked to our magicians and priests to see if there was some way to free them of their bonds but we are still not sure," Joyce shook his head in regret
"We have to restore their honor," Dave said
Joyce said, "If that is the case what robbed them of their honor?"
Going over all the information I have obtain from Gaia and my impression from those trapped soldiers, I stepped up and said, "They were robbed of their honor by some freak storms, it has been brought to my attention that they were destined to die there was no way around it but something happened at the time of those storms that caused those soldiers to become trapped,"
"Who told you that?" Blaylock growled as if he was still trying to assert some kind of authority
Instead of giving the pompous jerk any kind of response I looked straight at Joyce and said, "Gaia came to me while I was walking the Nature Trail by the Geothermal Plant and she told me that there was no way those deaths could have been prevented but something happened and those soldiers remained earthbound,"
Joyce took the information in and so did Dave "I take it Mike even you know that?"
"Their deaths would have come to them on the battlefield at least some of them would have been so no I am not angry that they were killed in those fires,"
Just by hearing that Joyce was able get my meaning, "They weren't killed in battle they were killed in an accident so their deaths had no meaning,"
Joyce then said "That is how we restore their honor we have to make their deaths have meaning,"
Dana asked, "How do we do that?"
"We are wasting time talking the ritual is going to be performed tonight at midnight Dana you and Mr Pennock need to go out and stop Elizar before he can carry out his plans," Blaylock injected
"As much as I hate to say it. Blaylock is right Mike, you and Dana need to fly out. We will keep researching the answer to all of our questions lie with Elizar and that train station," Dave reluctantly agreed but in a way that let Blaylock know he won nothing from it.
I looked over a monitor that showed the train station surrounded by vampires and as much as I didn't want to agree with the nincompoop, Blaylock was right on this one, so I left for the locker room to change, I was pulling the mask and hood over my head when I entered the Lair's weapon locker. Pulling out my Fighting Pike, and D'k tahg putting them into holsters on my belt. I then grabbed my Mek'Leth putting it in the sheath on my left side, next to the D'k tahg.
When I picked up my Bat'Leth I looked at it for a few moments "The Sword of Honor," I said as I took hold of the hilt
"We will return your honor somehow," I vowed as I carried the Bat'Leth to the Sea Dragon, Razeel waiting for me. I placed the Bat'Leth and placed it in the Sea Dragon's weapon's locker. By the time I was in the cockpit Razeel was sitting in the copilot seat as I took the pilot. Beginning the pref light checks the lift began to rise. By the time we reached the surface the CH-53C was kicking up dust as her rotors whirled. I had just taken hold of the flight controls when the lift came to a halt and the Sea Dragon cleared the surface. The moon was just beginning to rise and softly illuminating the night landscape. Pulling on the flight controls we were soon airborne. A few minutes into the flight Dana said, "You really are hoping to save them aren't you?"
"Yes they are my brothers in arms we all swore to uphold the Constitution, and the Ideals that make our country what it is. In spite everything this is the land of the free and the land of opportunity which offers so much and expect so little in return," I replied
"Wow I have only met a few people who felt that way," Razeel replied.
"I just hope we can save them," I said, slumping in the cockpit seat.
Razeel looked at me "Mike if there is anyone who can free those poor soul from their unjust imprisonment it is the person who cares a great deal about them,"
I just nodded as we flew on. When the train station came into view. I found a spot to land the Sea Dragon as I was coming in for a landing. Razeel got out of her seat and went to the rear.
After shutting everything but BEATTI's link up I got out and joined my slayer friend by the weapons locker. The Vampire Slayer pulled out a cutlass saber while I pulled out the Bat'Leth. It was time the Sword of Honor was needed for this battle. Exiting the chopper we made our way to the train station, we made our way up the top of the hill. In the distance a church bell began to sound the knell of the approaching hour.
High above the moon had risen Razeel stated "It is midnight Guardian we don't have a lot of time,"
"I know and we still don't have a plan of any kind," I grimly admitted
A voice boomed out, "Telk rek alek I Elizar beseech Osiris Egyptian Lord of the underworld," We both heard.
"He's started!" Razeel stated
"But where did he get warrior's blood?" I asked
"Tesk telk repa meltek, I Elizar beseech Hades Greek Lord of the underworld," The vampire continued his chant
"Tesk telk reska neskie ampec I Elizar beseech Pluto Roman Lord of the underworld," the world began to charge with energy. I feel my senses trying to keep up.
I pulled out a pair of night vision goggles, I couldn't risk using my powers. Not this soon those trapped in the station could still overwhelm me, what I saw made my blood go cold, I saw the person who was strapped to the sacrifice table. I'd know him anywhere.
"Jake!" I cried out
Razeel grabbed me and asked, "Guardian what's wrong?"
Pointing to the sacrifice table, "That's Jake Morow one of my shipmates," I said
"Well, now we know where he plans to get his warrior's blood," Razeel stated
"Not if I can help it," I said as my grip on the Bat'Leth hardened, I got up and readied my Klingon blade for combat. One part of this equation became very clear: There was no time to debate and no time to hesitate. I was being called to battle and there was only one thing left to do.
"I fight this battle in the name of those who were robbed of their honor ," my voice boomed over the rail-yard. Every vampire turned in our direction Razeel pulled out a wooden stake "So much for the element of surprise," She grumbled.
With the Bat'Leth in both hands I charged the horde of vampires. As I ran, pieces of wood and glass rose up behind me as if by some kind of magnetic pull, and followed in my wake.
I didn't even turn to see if Razeel was behind me. I just ran at the horde of vampires that stood between me and my shipmate. Nothing was going to stop me from reaching my friend. The closest vampires saw me coming and warned the rest as they charged it didn't take long for us to close the distance.
As soon as they were within my Bat'Leth's reach. I came to a stop. All those wood and glass pieces didn't, they flew past me, pelting the vampires around me. I heard cries in pain and several exploding bodies as the vampires disintegrated. Bring my sword around so the lower blade would catch the closest vampire in the chin. It fell backwards not even stopping to see the demon turn to dust, I pressed forward swinging my Klingon sword from left to right I hacked my own path through the legion of vampires.
All I heard was cries and wails as my Bat'Leth sliced a path, One vampire jumped in front and I shoved the broad blade of my Bat'Leth into the chin of one vampire not even waiting to see if it went down, Swinging to the right and the two end blades bit into a flanking vampire while the left side finished off the vampire that took the broadside of the Bat'Leth. I didn't stop, I kept moving to the next target. One vampire grabbed me from behind, reaching back and I found the neck. I lifted the demon off of me and flipped off her onto her back where I brought my sword down and chopped her head off. At this point I was relying on the strength the Earth gave me. I didn't want to open my mind to her.
But as I charged ahead I was met by even more vampires; there were too many for me to fight even with my superhuman strength, but I couldn't risk opening up to the Mother. I was breathing heavy and sweat was pouring out I took a moment to survey my surroundings until I spotted Razeel she was trying to keep up but she was only armed with her cutlass she was lagging behind considerably
"Razeel take my Mek'Leth," I yelled. I pulled it from its sheath and threw it her way. She managed to grab hold of the hilt and with a sword in both hands she began to make a bigger dent in the mob. But there were still too many between us and I couldn't turn back to help her. I had to charge forward any vampire that came in range of my Bat'Leth's reach was either beheaded, or lost a limb as I plowed on. One vampire jumped on my back. I grabbed it's neck and threw it over my shoulder and threw it on to a shattered telephone pole. It cried in pain. I didn't stop to see what happened. I had to keep going. For every vampire I killed, three more would take its place. This was a fight of the life time and only the Earth could help me and I couldn't risk it.
A breeze with a message washed over me. "Put your faith in the Earth, if you do not then your friend will die and an army of vampires will rise, you will fail," I heard a voice in that breeze. When I looked passed the masses of vampires and it seemed as if I was being pushed back instead of going forward. I saw Elizar raise his hand getting ready to bring down the knife that will kill my shipmate. I no longer had a choice. Wrapping my hand around the business part of the Bat'Leth, I could feel the cold steel blade biting into the palm of my hand. As I squeezed the edge, pain exploded as it sliced into my skin. Blood quickly coated both the blade and my costume. Until this moment I had to keep my mind closed to the Earth fearing the spirits would overwhelm me while I tried to free them. But I needed to trust the Earth and believe in her.
Even now as I opened my mind to the Earth I could feel their presence of my spiritual brothers as they started to scream at me. This time it was different, I had the Earth's backup my mind, I had the love of Jeff and 98 Degrees fortifying my psyche, this time I had honor on my side and it was taking charge.
"Noo!" I heard Elizar cry out
"I call upon my brothers to aid me in battle," I cried out. Their cries suddenly ended and I could sense them taking notice and as they remembered the long lost friend.
Razeel was struggling to reach my friend as well, but she wouldn't reach Jake in time to save him either.
I needed help from my ghostly brother in arms. They heard me as every trapped soldier remember the call of Honor. "One of our brothers is in danger, I need your help to save him," I called out
"You can't have them! They are mine!" Elizar screamed
"However your warrior's blood will do, which means I don't need this worthless human anymore," Elizar said, bringing a blade out and was about to kill Jake.
Pulled out my D'k tahg my hand snapped back when I sent it hurling it at him at superhuman speeds. My aim was true both knives intercepted with my knife winning the fight, Elizar lost control of his and they both went flying. Both blades took a vampire with them as they flew through the air.
"You even think it I will personally hunt you down," I demanded as I was surrounded by vampires. My Bat'Leth was making them regret getting in my way. But I was still unable to close the distances in fact I was being driven back.
"I call upon my brothers, who died here to regain your honor by helping me in this honorable fight and aid one of our own!" I called out
"Your pleas fall on dead ears Guardian Angel," Elizar laughed
"The name is Guardian! Elizar, and I am going to not only avenge my brothers this night, but the Planeteers as well," I corrected
Razeel was still fighting away from me but there were too many between us for her to get to me. It didn't matter the call of Honor was breaking through and this night all was about to be set right.
"Never underestimate the power of the uniform Elizar, nor the power of honor!" I stated I felt the air charge as the trapped souls answered my plea and the sky began to fill with voices.
Before us ghosts appeared and they began attacking the vampires. They pushed the vampires back giving me space as several more spirits appeared around me, I smiled giving them permission as the spirits started to encase me.
Razeel was being bombarded with vampires for everyone she killed, two more would attack her if not for Guardian's Mek'Leth and her cutlass saber, the demons would have killed her. To her complete surprise multiple vampires suddenly dusted before her. Around her ghost appeared and they did battle with the vampires. Razeel gave out a sigh in relief and then went back to hacking vampires. At one point Razeel looked up just in time to see Guardian surrounded by the dead soldiers Razeel yelled as they entered Guardian's body "Shit the last thing this world needed was vengeful spirits taking control of someone as powerful as Guardian," Razeel swore.
I no longer had to fear the mentally damaged spirits. The Earth was in control now and she was protecting me. With my permission the spirits entered my body allowing them to do what needed to be done. To free them from this hellish existence. Pointing my still bleeding hand to the sky, clouds rapidly formed, the wind picked up speed, The air electrified as the storm took shape. I became a vessel for these lost soldiers who remembered their calling. Through the air as lightning began to leap from cloud to cloud, all around me spirits took form our voices echoed as loudly as the thunder that rumbled in the sky as we spoke our oath, "We the Soldiers of the United States do solemnly swear to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America and to support and defend it from all enemies foreign and domestic so help me God,"
Razeel had a hard time keeping her footing as the winds quickly gained strength. Debris was being picked up and being hurled at the army of vampires. Between that and the ghostly soldiers there weren't as many night-crawlers left.
All around her the spirits appeared standing at attention, Razeel heard voices of the long and forgotten troops who perished here. She watched as the words were spoken, bolts of lightning shot out of the sky each one struck before Guardian. The vampires were vaporized as they were struck by lightning. A tear ran down the Slayer's face as she witnessed a truly sombering moment, Guardian was correct this was the proper course of action Razeel through a mournful smile, "That's it guys you have been trapped long enough, this is your time to shine,"
The mob of vampires were vaporizing before me. When a straight line to a gas tank was cleared. a bolt lightning jumped out of the clouds to my hand and it was covered with my blood as it still flowed out from the cut in my skin. My whole body energized keeping any vampire near me at bay.
Razeel was watching everything and when lightning struck Guardian he disappeared a white light. Any vampire that tried to attack the Guardian were instantly vaporized.
My uninjured hand flew up to direct the energy. The vengeful lighting bolt leaped out of my hand. It was not the same characteristic bluish white but a deep blood red. For blood was needed to free these trapped souls. The bolt struck the station's gas tank and the entire train station exploded, taking a good chunk of the vampires with it. Once again the station was set ablaze consuming even more vampires.
Where flames in the past had imprisoned my brothers in arms, this time the blaze was setting them free. A cheer filled the air as I could feel their joy. Their honor was returned to them. Finally they were free, my brothers can rest in peace. Several vampires were burning but that coward Elizar managed to escape the inferno. I will find him after all I still have to avenge Captain Planet and the Planeteers. That was for another time But for now I had to save Jake. Using my Bat'Leth I cut at his bonds once he was freed from his sacrificial predicament, I put my arm under my shipmate getting a good grip on him I pulled him free.
One vampire jumped at me and his face was filled with fury, "He's mine I won't let you have him," It snarled
"Sorry pal, this relationship was never meant to be!" I stated as I looked at the vampires no longer fearing my freed brothers. Pointing a finger at the vampire a burst of wind shot out at the bastard sending the demon back into the burning station and the fire quickly consumed its body. With Jake still over my shoulder I managed to see the Book of the Dead. It was still on Jake's sacrifice table with a quick snap of my fingers. I sent the book and my Bat'Leth to the Sea Dragon where BEATTI waited for our call. With that bit out of the way I took off getting Jake to safety. I found Razeel wiping blood off of her lips. I grabbed her "There is no time to explain I got to get us clear," I took a leap and got us a safe distance from the hellfire. When we landed several feet away I covered my friends with my body then covered all of us with a protective barrier out of cinder blocks. In a thunderous explosion the remains of the station were sent flying in every direction.
It didn't take long for the debris to come raining down; some of it hit the cinder blocks that were shielding. When I was certain the worst was over I let down my shield and backed away so Razeel could get up.
"I was worried when those daranged spirits entered your body," Razeel confessed
"I wasn't they were no longer a threat it was necessary to completely free my brothers," my gazes fell on the burning husk of what was an abandon train station. I felt the gentle droplet of water as it started to rain. After such a battle it was natural for it to rain, looking down at Jake I made sure he had no other injuries that may need medical attention. He had a bump on the back of his head and small laceration on his arm but that was it. His closely cropped brown hair and warm feeling that caught me attention in Virginia were still there. My shipmate was alive. That was the best outcome out of all of this.
I knelt beside him and turned to see that all that remained of the train station was a burning hulk away several gas tanks exploded. The quick rain shower was strong enough to put out the fire and just as quickly as it began the storm broke up letting the rising sun cast a warm orange and yellow glow over the Philadelphia skyline. Smoke still billowed out of what was left of the train station. I sent a prayer to both the Father God, and Mother God asking them to look after my fallen comrades, and that they are given the rest they've earned.
Turning my thoughts towards my fallen comrades, I made a solemn vow to the fallen heroes swearing that I would carry on. That I would take up the charge and make their sacrifice mean something.
Razeel got up and looked over at the burning remains tears were running down her face.
"You did it," Razeel said with a mournful smile as she turned to look at the smoldering hulk even she was proud to help free those who were trapped there.
"I couldn't have done this without your help, I am beyond grateful," I replied honestly
"You freed your comrades," Razeel revered
"No they did it," I replied, staring at smoldering wreckage that used to be a train station. At this point the sun was now up higher above the horizon giving everything a silhouette. It was reveille and in a quick and smooth motion of my hand flew up to just above my right eye. I Saluted them and I thought I saw an image of one of the soldiers returning the salute.
Jake started to come around. I looked into his deep blue eyes, and he screamed, "What the hell?"
I knelt down I put a hand on his shoulder and spoke softly, "It okay my friend you are safe,"
We all stood there watching the station burn to the ground. A moment later I hit the combadge on the back of my hand signaling for BEATTI to come get us. When she landed we boarded her I then said, "Okay girl lets go home,"
"I like that idea," Jake cheered
The Chopper lifted off creating a cloud dust in her wake when I looked out the cockpit taking final glance at the train station I smiled Honor had called and Honor was served.
That is it for this chapter more to come.
