Washington Academy Chapter 7 Boys Will Be Boys!

Progress Reports were posted on the bulletin boards across the campus, and the cadets flocked around the boards to see the results. During the summer months, most cadets had only a few classes to attend, but that would change in September.

"We made the A Honor Roll!" Trip exclaimed when Robbie and Tracker ran up to the bulletin board in the Jefferson Dorm.

The three plebes celebrated and congratulated each other. They knew that making the A Honor Roll would give them status and increased privileges.

"How did our Big Brothers do?" Robbie asked.

"Drew made all A's, but Keith and Dave didn't," Trip replied. He showed Robbie and Tracker the lists where Keith Phillips and David Burtram had made the B Honor Roll.

Robbie saw Drew and Keith running up to the bulletin board, and waited for them to read the results for themselves.

"Congratulations, guys!" Keith said to Tracker, Robbie and Trip. "I had some problems in World History, but you guys aced everything, including Phys Ed!"

"It's no big deal to get an A in Gym," Robbie replied. "In Middle School, just about everybody got an A."

"Not here," Drew replied. "Only about 10% of the cadets get an A in Phys Ed here at the academy. Either you guys are blowing the coaches or you must have worked your asses off!"

"The only reason I got an A in Algebra is because of Trip's help," Robbie admitted, after giving Drew a nasty look for his teasing. "He helps all the plebes in our dorm understand that shit!"

"We'll get special passes now," Drew said. "I'm proud of my Little Brother and you guys too for making the honor roll."

"Drew always makes the honor roll," Keith said. "He's never got anything but an A ever since he started the Academy. I think he's been bending over for the male teachers and eating the pussies of the female teachers to make 'All A's'!"

"You're just jealous!" Drew exclaimed. "Maybe you should start studying instead of surfing the Internet for porn!"

"I gotta call my aunt and uncle!" Robbie blurted out. "I promised them that I'd work hard to get good grades, and I can't wait to give them this good news!"

Trip and Tracker wanted to call their parents with the good news, and the three plebes waited in line to use the pay phones in the Jefferson Dorm for their turn.

"Hello," Marie Mathews said when she answered the phone.

"IT'S ME!" Robbie exclaimed. "I GOT ALL A's ON THE FIRST PROGRESS REPORT!"

"Oh, Robbie, that's wonderful!" Marie replied. "Let me get David on the line!"

David and Marie had tears of joy flowing down their faces when they listened to the excitement in Robbie's voice when he gave them his good news.

"I got A's in English, History, Algebra, and Phys Ed!" Robbie exclaimed. "Drew says I'll get a ton of passes so I can go to town and the lake!"

"We're so proud of you!" David Mathews said to his nephew. "Marie and I both know that the Academy sets tough standards, even in Phys Ed. We'll send you some money so you can celebrate with Drew and your other friends." He had never told Robbie about the large inheritance he would receive when he was 25 years old. The life insurance policies for Robbie's parents were substantial, but the lawsuit after their car crash had netted a settlement of five million dollars that was growing with each year of investment. David and Marie had wills that named Robbie as their sole beneficiary, but they hoped that they would live long lives to enjoy the rewards for their many years of service to the United States Navy. David was now a multi-millionaire from his investments and property holdings across the nation and around the world, but he'd trade everything to give Robbie a life of happiness.

"Oh David, I'm so happy right now!" Marie said when the phone call ended. "I was so worried about our boy after he got shot. I've never heard him so happy!"

"Let's go celebrate!" David Mathews said. He swept his wife off her feet and carried her to their bedroom for some intense intimacy. He loved his wife with every fiber in his body, and wanted nothing more than to live with her in peace after his many years of combat duty. He and Marie had continued working to occupy their time and repay society for the blessings of their lives, and they both loved Robbie like he was their own son.

It was Friday afternoon when Drew ran into Dorm 2 on the third floor. "We've got lake passes!" he exclaimed to Robbie and Tracker. "We gotta pack and get ready for the bus!"

"What about Trip?" Robbie asked.

"His pass is for next weekend," Drew replied.

Robbie was disappointed that Trip wasn't included, but he knew that the use of the campground at the lake was a special privilege. He listened to Drew explain that the Academy normally limited lake passes to a maximum of 40 cadets at one time.

Trip was disappointed that he wouldn't be with Robbie and Tracker, but he congratulated his new friends and helped them pack for the weekend adventure. He knew that he'd get his chance to enjoy the beautiful lake and campgrounds the very next weekend.

Robbie was excited when he helped put up the tent that he would share with Tracker, David Benson, and Drew. They listened to the group of chaperones that included Guy Stephens and Derrick Harmon tell all of the cadets what was expected of them. Everyone enjoyed the barbecued meal and the campfire that finished the day.

Saturday was filled with good food and fun for the celebrating cadets. They were allowed to take canoes out on the lake and go fishing or swimming, or just hang out at the campgrounds. They played volleyball, basketball and horseshoes, but enjoyed swimming in the lake the most. After supper cooked on the outdoor grilles, the canoes were returned to the storage racks and a large campfire was built.

"Are the canoes locked up?" Guy Stephens asked Derrick Harmon. The canoes were always locked up to prevent theft and unauthorized use.

"Loaded and locked," Derrick replied. "Let's crack a few beers and enjoy a cigar while the boys relax."

"It was almost 10:30 p.m. when the eight chaperones decided it was time for everyone to go to bed. Robbie and Tracker were brushing their teeth when Drew came up behind them in the shower room and whispered to them, "Are you guys interested in a party out on the island?"

Robbie and Tracker were immediately interested when Drew explained that some girls from the Mixer Dance had promised to be at the island that night. They were both excited at the thought of getting laid and maybe drinking a few beers.

"Let's go," David Benson whispered to his tent buddies. He led them over to the canoe rack and used a key to open the lock.

"We gotta be real quiet," Drew whispered to Robbie and Tracker.

The four cadets used two of the canoes and quietly paddled away from the campground. It was about a half mile to the island, and they hoped that the girls were waiting and horny. The full moon lit up the evening sky, and the soft wind caused ripples on the surface of the lake. Before the two canoes reached the island, the four cadets could hear the loud music and laughter of several girls. They quickly beached the canoes and headed for the sounds of the party.

"It's about time!" Natalie exclaimed when she saw the four handsome cadets approach the campfire. "We were worried that you weren't gonna come."

"We're all ready to cum!" Drew teased.

Kelly jumped up from her chair by the campfire and removed her T-shirt, revealing her beautiful breasts. "I'm horny and ready for a fuck!" she yelled. "Who's hard and horny?"

Robbie wasted no time in running up to Kelly and sucking on her left tit. He slid his hand inside her shorts and quickly realized that she wasn't wearing panties. Her slit was moist and ready, so he pushed her down on the beach towel and went to work.

The four cadets were so involved in drinking the cold beer and fucking the horny girls that they didn't notice the two objects sliding through the moonlit water.

Robbie was finishing his fourth beer while Nicole was sucking his dick. He looked around and watched Drew, David and Tracker fucking the other three horny girls. The visual and oral stimulation caused his dick to inflate, and he decided to fuck Nicole doggy style.

It was almost 1:00 a.m. when the exhausted and sexually satisfied cadets said goodbye to the girls and headed back to the campground. The four satisfied cadets sat in the canoes and bragged about how many times they had fucked the four willing girls. It was the first time that Drew realized that Robbie was drunk, and he was afraid that his Little Brother would make a lot of noise that would wake the chaperones.

"You gotta be quiet," Drew whispered to Robbie. He wished that he had watched his Little Brother closer during the party, but knew that the horny girls had occupied his mind.

"We need to sneak back into our tent, so you keep Robbie quiet even if you have to gag him," David said to Tracker when they reached the shoreline of the campground. He used a key to unlock the cable on the canoe rack, and then locked the padlock after the two canoes had been replaced. The four guys snuck back to their tent, but weren't ready for what was on the tent flap.

"We're fucked!" Tracker said when he read the note. "Meet us at the campfire".

Guy Stephens and Derrick Harmon were smoking cigars and stirring the campfire when the four guilty cadets came into view.

"Have a seat boys," Guy said. "Hand me a cold Coors, Derrick. Would any of you like a cold Coors instead of the Budweiser you've been drinking?"

"I'll take one!" Robbie slurred. He stumbled and fell before Drew grabbed him and told him to shut his mouth.

"If you see an arm other than yours or mine reach for the cooler," Guy began, "Break it off and shove it up the ass of the owner."

The calm way Guy Stephens was talking about a grisly act caused chills of fear to flow through the bodies of Tracker, Drew and David. Robbie was too drunk to realize that the two former SEALs were ready to snap.

"Mr. Stephens...." Drew began.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Guy ordered. "When we want any bullshit from you four boys, we'll squeeze your heads!"

Tracker had his hand over Robbie's mouth to keep his blonde friend from saying a word. The beers that he'd consumed on the island had blocked his ability to sense danger in the woods, and he could feel the tension in the two adults that filled him with fear.

"Derrick, give me a roll call" Guy said.

"Let's see," Derrick began. "Cadet First Class David Benson, running back on the football team, point guard for basketball, baseball catcher, and Chairman of the Tribunal. Next is Cadet Second Class Andrew Anderson, quarterback for football, small forward on the basketball team, baseball pitcher, and newest member of the Tribunal. Plebe Tracker Whitestone, third string quarterback and possible member of the basketball and baseball teams.

Last is Plebe Robert Mathews, a boy who wants to be on the football team and could have helped our basketball and baseball teams."

"Pick one person to represent all of you," Guy ordered. "The rest of you keep your mouths shut unless we ask you a direct question."

Drew looked at his buddies and swallowed hard before saying, "I'll be the spokesman."

"There's a rule that lawyers use when they question a witness in court," Guy began. "Never ask a question of a witness unless you already know the answer. Derrick and I already know the answers to our questions, but we want to see if you BOYS will tell the truth or lie."

"We emphasize the word, BOYS," Derrick said. "Normally we would refer to cadets as young men, but we think the events of this evening prove that you don't deserve to be called MEN."

"You boys insulted us tonight," Guy offered. "You thought you could sneak out of this camp and get back without being detected. Those piles of clothes in your sleeping bags didn't fool anyone. Now you have the opportunity to tell us what you boys did tonight."

Drew knew that he and his cohorts were in deep trouble. They'd broken several rules in the Honor Code and could be busted or expelled. He took a deep breath and decided to tell the truth.

"We have a key for the padlock on the canoe rack," Drew began.

"Where'd you get the key?" Derrick asked.

"We had the serial number for the lock and took it to a locksmith in town," Drew admitted. David had been the one to get the key, but Drew didn't want to rat on his friend. "The locksmith looked up the serial number in a book and made the key for us."

Guy tried to hide the smile on his face by taking a long drag on his cigar. The keys to the gate, canoe rack and shower building were carefully guarded by the Academy Staff, but the resourceful cadets had been smart in getting a copy of the key.

"There were some girls at the Mixer Dance that invited us to a party on the island," Drew offered. "We thought we could sneak out there and party with the girls without being caught."

"I still want a beer!" Robbie blurted out when Tracker's hand slipped off his mouth.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Benson yelled at Robbie.

"If you boys wake anyone else up, your asses will be fried with the Tribunal!" Derrick exclaimed.

"What happened on the island?" Guy asked. He and Derrick had reverted back to their SEAL training by quietly swimming out to the island to spy on their cadets, and he wanted to see if Drew would tell them the truth.

"Four girls were waiting for us, and they were high and horny," Drew offered. "We drank a few beers and fucked the girls."

"Your Little Brother drank more than a few beers," Derrick said. "Is that the way an upper-classman teaches a plebe about our Honor Code?"

"I'm sorry, Sir," Drew began. His apology was cut short by both of the athletic coaches.

"We don't want to hear the word 'sorry' come out of your mouth again until we're finished here," Derrick said emphatically.

"I want Cadet Benson to answer the next question," Guy said. "What rules were broken tonight?"

David Benson felt guilty for being the highest-ranking cadet being questioned by the two coaches. He took a deep breath before replying, "Leaving the campground without permission and drinking alcohol."

"I think you forgot to mention defeating the security on the canoe rack, unauthorized use of the canoes, Minor in Possession of alcohol, dereliction of duty, disobeying the orders of the chaperones of this camping weekend, and very possibly, Statutory Rape," Guy replied.

"Anderson, can you give me one good reason why we shouldn't take all of you in front of the Tribunal?" Derrick asked.

Drew's voice cracked with fear when he replied "Nnnno, Sirrrr!"

"Here's what we're going to do," Guy began. "You four go back to your tent and don't say a word to any of the other cadets in this camp or back at the academy. If we find out that anyone knows about this discussion, you'll all face the Tribunal. Mr. Harmon and I will decide if another form of punishment fits the crimes committed tonight. You're all dismissed!"

On the way back to the tent, Robbie's stomach rolled over and he vomited on the ground. The three cadets knew that their asses were fried if anyone heard Robbie throwing up, so they quickly carried him into the shower building. Robbie threw up on the floor, sink and toilet before his stomach was emptied. David, Tracker and Drew cleaned up the mess and carried Robbie back to their tent.

"We're fucked!" David admitted to his cadet buddies. "You and I'll be busted," he said to Drew. "Robbie and Tracker will be expelled!"

"If there's any way for us to get out of this with our hides, we're gonna do it!" Drew offered. "Stephens and Harmon have us by the balls, and they know it! We've gotta stick together and make sure Robbie doesn't say anything. I didn't realize how drunk he was until he reached for a beer from their cooler. He probably won't remember anything that they said, so we'll have to make sure he doesn't say anything to the other guys in the morning."

The guys whispered about their fears of facing the Tribunal, and knew that their horniness had landed them in deep trouble.

"Mathews is wasted!" Derrick laughed. "The other cadets were shitting in their pants when we threatened to take them before the Tribunal."

"I don't blame them for wanting to fuck those girls," Guy whispered. "I wouldn't mind swimming back out there and getting some strange pussy myself!"

"None of those girls is over 18" Derrick offered. "Our boys might get away with having sex with them, but you and I would end up in prison with Big Bubba giving us anal acupuncture! We can't let them get away with this, but you and I both know that we'd have been with them if we were their ages. Teenagers with raging hormones will find a way to get laid."

"Let's let them worry about facing the Tribunal until tomorrow morning," Guy whispered. "I have no intention of ruining their lives for being healthy boys with healthy desires."

Robbie barely ate a few bites of breakfast the next morning before he ran away from the picnic table and threw up on the ground. Several cadets questioned what was wrong with him, but Drew said, "He's got the flu". He motioned for Tracker and David to help him get Robbie inside the shower building.

"I'm gonna die!" Robbie moaned. His stomach boiled and he continued retching in the toilet.

"I think Cadet Mathews needs this," Derrick Harmon said to Drew.

Drew took the package of saltine crackers and the can of ginger ale and thanked the coach. They'd both been drunk before and knew the effects of the dry heaves that were wracking Robbie's body.

Other cadets came into the shower building to use the toilets, and several asked about Robbie. Drew, Tracker and David continued with the "flu" story and took care of their small friend.

After about 30 minutes tending to Robbie, Mr. Stephens saying, "It's time to leave, BOYS", interrupted the group.

The other cadets celebrating at the campground stopped their games when they saw Guy Stephens and Derrick Harmon leading four cadets to a Chevrolet Suburban. They knew that something was up, but no one seemed to know the details.

John Zachary, the security officer who had killed Larry Cataline, was driving the Suburban. He wondered why the Security Office had been called to provide transportation back to the academy ground for the two administrators and four cadets. He correctly guessed that the cadets had broken some rule, but he kept quiet and drove the group to the Jefferson Dorm.

"You have 10 minutes to get your grubs on and report to the Mess Hall!" Derrick Harmon ordered.

"Mr. Harmon, can I please be excused?" Robbie pleaded. "I'm gonna be sick!"

He ran for the bushes and vomited up the crackers and ginger ale.

"If I don't see a pile of your guts on the grass, you get your ass down here with your guilty friends!" Derrick replied.

Robbie needed help to make it up to the third floor and into his dorm. He begged to sleep on his bunk, but Tracker helped him get to his locker to get his work clothes.

"What's wrong with Robbie?" Trip said when he came into the dorm. He could tell that Robbie was very ill and demanded to know why Tracker wasn't taking their friend to the Infirmary.

"Trip, you're our buddy, but you have to trust me and stay out of this!" Tracker said while Robbie was moaning in agony. "If I tell you what's going on, Robbie and I will be expelled! Help me get him dressed and don't say a word to anyone!"

Trip was concerned and confused, but decided to trust Tracker, especially when Drew and David came in the room. He watched the guys help Robbie walk out of the room and down the stairs to the Mess Hall.

"You cadets all know Eric Nagy," Guy Stephens said to the four guilty cadets. "Mr. Nagy's in charge of the kitchen crew for this dorm, and he has a small project for you to complete in the next two hours."

"This grill and the exhaust system are full of grease," Mr. Nagy began. "Breakfast's been served, but we need the system cleaned from the roof down to the floor before we have to begin preparing lunch. Follow me to the roof."

The four cadets walked up the stairway leading to the roof of the single story wing of the Jefferson Dormitory. They listened while the Head Chef described how to remove the filters and clean the ductwork. Everything was coated with a sticky mixture of grease and soot, and they knew that they would get filthy before their work was done. They were given long handled brushes, buckets, and concentrated degreaser for use in cleaning the mess.

"We've got a contract with a cleaning company in Traverse City to clean the hoods once a month," Eric Nagy reminded Guy Stephens and Derrick Harmon when they left the shocked cadets. "This is a really nasty job, and their grubs will be a mess if you have them do it. We won't save any money by having the cadets do the work because of the annual contract."

"These cadets are being disciplined, and Derrick and I wanted the nastiest job we could find for them," Guy replied. "Right now they think they only have one hood and grill to clean, but we have a big surprise for them. Summer break starts next week, but these four cadets will be working all week!"

"You're really busting their balls!" Eric said. "What the fuck did they do?"

Guy laughed and told his friend what the four cadets had done to deserve the cleaning detail. He and Eric both admitted that they would have gone to the island and partied with the girls if they were the same ages as the cadets. Eric laughed and promised not to divulge the "crimes" that brought about the discipline.

Two hours later, Guy Stephens and Derrick Harmon joined Eric Nagy in the inspection of the hood and grill. They stifled their laughter when they saw the four cadets who were covered in the sticky grease from head to foot. Robert Mathews had a sickly green cast to the places on his face where the grease had been wiped off. The adults could see that he was still feeling the effects of his hangover.

"Did they do a good job, or should they start over?" Derrick asked Eric.

Eric knew what he was expected to say, and concealed his true feelings that the four cadets had done an excellent job. "Not as good as the professionals," Eric said, "But acceptable."

"They'll get better with experience," Guy stated.

The four cadets looked at each other and wondered what the Athletic Director meant by "experience". When they heard the answer to their questioning looks, they were shocked.

"Let's see," Guy began. "We have one more grill and suction system here in this building, two in each of the other three dormitories, and four in the Washington Administration Building. I think these BOYS can get everything cleaned by next Sunday."

Robbie's head felt like it was ready to explode, and he collapsed when he heard that there were 11 more grills to be cleaned. Tracker and Drew grabbed him before he hit the floor, but they had trouble holding him up because of the nasty grease that coated all of the guilty cadets.

"You guys can decide if you want to give up the first week of Summer Break to work off your violations, or face the Tribunal," Guy Stephens said. He had no intention of taking the handsome cadets in front of the Tribunal, and hoped that they wouldn't call his bluff.

"We'll do the work!" Drew said for the group.

"You have some time to get cleaned up before lunch," Derrick said. "Two hours from now the grill will be cooled off and ready for cleaning. You'd better figure out a way to get your grubs cleaned between jobs or just wear the same set for the entire week. You're dismissed!"

"Can you believe what we have to do?" David Benson asked Andrew Anderson. "We'd lose our eligibility to play sports if we faced the Tribunal, and I'm hoping for a college scholarship. If they told me I had to lick that fucking grease off, I'd do it!"

"They're busting our balls because of drinking the beer," Drew offered. "We thought we were sneaky, but two former SEALs were a lot smarter than we thought. They even knew that we were drinking Budweiser! We would have seen a canoe coming out to the island, so they must have swam. I'll never underestimate a SEAL again!"

"Let's get Robbie upstairs and into the showers," Tracker suggested. "He can sleep until we have to start working again, and I'll get him some crackers and water. Let's put him on the roof detail so he can take it easy. I've never seen a guy so sick from drinking beer, and I sure hope I never get that bad."

Guy Stephens and Derrick Harmon were called to Chancellor Brown's office after rumors circulated about four cadets cleaning the grills and suction systems. Vince joined his two favorite staff members in laughing about the horny cadets and the details of how they visited the girls on the island. He agreed with the discipline and discussed how the four guilty cadets represented the "cream of the crop" in the student body. The staff had also learned a lesson, and all padlocks on the campus would be replaced with new locks. The serial numbers would be ground off to prevent any future problems.

The following Sunday found four exhausted cadets finishing the last grill in the Administration Building. They had to double their efforts to complete the last two grills before the noon deadline established by the two coaches, but they felt deep feelings of satisfaction for avoiding the Tribunal.

"Follow me!" Guy Stephens ordered the tired cadets. He led them to the back of the Jefferson Dormitory where Derrick Harmon was waiting for them.

"Strip off those sweatshirts and sweatpants!" Derrick ordered. "Leave on your underwear and boots, but throw the sweats in these trash bags. When you get back to your rooms, collect the other set of sweats and throw them away too. You guys will look like shit if you wear greasy grubs! We know you tried to wash out the grease, but the washing machines can't work miracles!"

"Sir, what will we wear for work details and exercises?" David Benson asked.

"Let's sit down and talk for a couple minutes," Guy Stephens said. "You guys screwed up, but you took your punishment like MEN. The biggest problem that Mr. Harmon and I have with your crimes is the beer drinking. You broke the law of the State of Michigan, and if the sheriff had raided the island, you'd all have criminal records and be expelled. We saw the four girls and we don't think any of them are 18. That's the legal age of consent in Michigan, and Cadet Benson is over 18. He could face charges of Statutory Rape, and so could the rest of you if you were involved with a girl younger than you are. We were both young once, and we did things that were illegal too, but we didn't get caught. A criminal record will keep you out of most reputable colleges and any chance for an officer rating in the Armed Forces."

"This talk is 'off the record'," Derrick added. "We know that young guys have sexual urges, and that 'the little head will do the thinking for the big one'. When I was your age, I'd fuck any cute girl who spread her legs for me, but things are different now. Everyone seems to want to sue everyone, and an irate parent can press charges against you and the Academy.

The code of silence is now cancelled. Guy and I asked our confidential sources on the campus, and none of you talked about why you were being disciplined. Cadets have seen you guys working, and they were all shocked. It might be a good lesson for them to hear what you did to deserve the punishment."

"We're not going to make any announcements at our Staff Meetings," Guy added. "Chancellor Brown knows what happened, and he's always allowed staff members to assess discipline instead of using the Tribunal. Word might spread to other members of the faculty and staff, but as far as we're concerned, this is over! We don't hold grudges and you've all earned back our respect. Get cleaned up and go to the crib in the Administration Building and get new grubs."

"We'd both like to end this with a round of hugs, but we'll settle for handshakes!" Derrick teased. "You guys stink and look like shit! You're dismissed!"

The four cadets shook hands with the two coaches and thanked them for not taking them to the Tribunal. They now had a deeper understanding of the two men and a higher level of respect.

Keith Phillips had been upset with his best friend, Drew Anderson, and his Little Brother, Tracker Whitestone for not answering his questions about their detention. He was offended that the two cadets didn't trust him with the details of their actions that resulted in the severe detention. After he heard the details, he understood why they had kept silent, and was relieved that no one would face the Tribunal.

"You guys are lucky!" Keith exclaimed after hearing Tracker and Drew tell their story. "Stephens and Harmon are cool guys, and I'm thankful that they cut you some slack."

"If it has tits or tires, sooner or later it's gonna cause you trouble!" Robbie exclaimed when he came into the four-man room that Keith and Drew shared with two other cadets. "That's the sickest that I've ever been in my life, and I sure don't want a repeat! After being soaked with grease for the last week, I'm never gonna eat another French fry!"

Robbie, Drew, David and Tracker had a new appreciation for freedom and the opportunity to enjoy the last week of the Summer Break. They all attended the football practices, knowing that their participation was optional. They doubled their efforts to learn the plays, and the coaching staff recognized their efforts.

"Tracker's the future of this football team," Guy confided to Derrick. "Anderson's gonna lead our team to victory this year and next, but Tracker might be the best quarterback I've ever coached. I hope Anderson doesn't get hurt, but even if he's healthy we have to get Whitestone some experience."

"Benson's gonna be recruited hard along with Crenshaw, Weathers, Williams and Norton," Derrick said. "Justin Chambers and Drew Anderson will get scholarships too when they're seniors. Other high schools in our conference are bitching because we always seem to finish at the top or near it in football and basketball. It's great to be Number 1!"

"According to Michigan guidelines, we've supposed to be in Class B or C by the number of students we have," Guy remarked. "The Academy gets the cream of the crop from all over the country and from around the world, and even the Class A coaches were upset when we moved up. If Terry Pahls can improve our track and baseball programs, we'll have every sport locked up!"

"Maybe we should admit some girls so we can dominate in synchronized swimming, volleyball and softball," Derrick joked.

"We'd have a bunch of knocked up girls and Barry Howell would be flooded with paternity suits!" Guy laughed. "We have enough trouble controlling the sexual urges of these young men without putting temptation right in their faces."

"How's Barry doing with the Cataline situation?" Derrick asked. "I know he's a great lawyer with some brilliant partners, but the media's having a field day with the events."

"Barry is the best attorney in Michigan, and maybe the country!" Guy replied. "He's got associates all over the country who owe him favors, and I'm sure he's doing a lot of digging on the young Lawrence Cataline. He's already uncovered a juvenile record for assault and battery, child molestation and petty theft. I think General Cataline will drop the lawsuits before a judge ever hears a word of testimony."

"Howell graduated from the Academy before joining the Marines," Guy offered.

"He was the best JAG (Judge Advocate General) lawyer ever before leaving the service for private practice. He represents the Academy for free, and we're lucky he's on our side."

The two coaches didn't know how valuable the services of Barry Howell would be in the future for the cadets of the George Washington Academy.
