Sure enough, they appeared. They referring to the creatures of evil, the Wyverns. Before they could swarm down on Valian, the Ten appeared.
"Leave, now. This is no place for you now," ordered the Tenth, with a grave face. For he had feared this exact occurrence, the reappearing of the Wyverns - their only true foe. For they were immortal, a breed of creatures that didn't die. Though only about a 100 had made it from the wrath of Hell in the very beginnings of time.
"But I have to stay and fight and help you," pleaded an anxious Valian.
"This isn't the time Valian. I order you." The First prepared herself for a horrendous battle. "Take all the people here for safety. Go, and warn the planets that the war has come upon us. It is time to put petty things aside and rebuild the alliance that once was."
"NO! I have to fight. This is my doing."
"VALIAN. I have allowed you much free reign. But one thing I have kept from you, if you were to die, there is no future for this land. The prophecy states that you are the final hope, and without you, there is nothing left. God will have to defend himself and cannot help us and therefore everything He has created shall be gone to waste. The same goes for Hell." Valian was stunned. Never had the Tenth ever raised his voice against him. He just turned around and made fast for the bar. Along the way, he grabbed a shocked Gage and made his way.
Upon his entrance, all activities stopped, for before them stood the most beautiful and deadly of all Archangels. "Leave, now." With the Valian turned around and headed back towards the surface so he could go to the first planet, Xajo. But before he could leave, a piercing pain erupted in his head. He clutched his temples and collapsed onto the ground shedding tears all the while. Such pain he had never even imagined before. It felt as if the whole world was against him. But why?
Time once more froze and the world spun and Valian once more found himself in the past, on a planet that seemed very much like the one he was currently on, Dubormal:
He saw a battered boy clutching his head in the same fashion he had been doing only moments before. Another boy, the same one he had seen before, Tristin, came running up and cradled the boy.
"What's wrong baby?"
"It hurts Tristin, it hurts."
"What does? Tel me, please."
"I don't know. It's just -" A scream erupted from the young boy's mouth as pain wracked his whole body and he started writhing in the hands of Tristin. Tristin looked on helplessly as the boy he loved so dearly was suffering.
"FATHER!" he bellowed.
'Son, what is it?"
'It's Valian. There's something wrong. He's in too much pain.'
'I don't know-'
'The planet is in much pain,' said an eerie voice.
'Who is this? Impossible, no one should be able to break into my thoughts with my own son.'
'I beg your pardon King, but much is at stake now. If the planet is not saved, the boy will lose control over his powers. True, he seems weak, but he holds in himself boundless power. If unleashed, they might destroy everything.'
And once more, Valian found the world spinning, but unlike last, the spinning continued, but he heard a very quiet and distinct voice.
The Trinity. Awaken it. Before all is lost.
You will be plunged into its secret confines, but fear not, for there, you cannot be hurt.
For you will become eternal stone.
Until your true love plants the first kiss upon your sacred lips.
Awaken the lusting one. For his destiny calls.
Tristin shall be put to test.
Shall he fail, you shall fail. Shall you fail, Urania shall fail.
For once, you will be powerless. But power is not all.
Awaken it now. Look for the ones who knows the last.
And remember, you are the Power.
Valian plummeted back into reality, only to be met not too kindly in the arms of pain. That distinct warning stuck in his mind. Eternal stone? Lusting one? Trinity? Wait, he had heard of the Trinity in his previous time travel. What does it all mean? And worse, he couldn't think very well with this pounding headache.
Valian felt soothing and caring hands envelope him.
'It's going to be ok. Just relax."
"No, the Trinity, must warn the Ten." At the mention, of the Trinity, Gage gasped and quickly whispered:
"
Awaken; awaken from thy slumber of eternity.
Guard the land once more, o' immortal Trinity.
Does that mean anything to you?"
Valian averted his eyes to gaze at Gage's. He now had a part of the riddle answer. For before him, stood the one who knew the last. Now, the lusting one? He thought to all he knew, and then it him. Valian struggled up only to be pulled back my both Gage and immense pain. "No Gage, I must do this. Just help me up." With nothing else to do, Gage complied. 'Mahut.'
'Mahut!?'
'MAHUT, GAURDIAN OF EARTH. Answer me!?'
'You summon, Archangel.'
'Awaken Hayden, tell him Kiersten calls.'
'At once.' Back on Earth, The Dorigan took flight and in an instant, was beside the bed in which Hayden and Dave were snuggled in. Hayden had never truly gotten over Kiersten, and probably never would, but Dave had helped him through it and for that, Hayden allowed Dave to sleep with him if they had no sex. "Hayden."
Hayden shot straight up out of the bed with silver eyes glowing. At the sight of the great creature, he let out a gasp.
"Take my hand. Now." Mahut simple ordered. Hayden knew better than to disagree. From Mahut's neck, hung the sacred pendant of Earth, and once more, its deep powers glowed. In a whirl of clear shades, the two disappeared to only reappear on Dubormal, standing next to Valian and Gage.
"Thank you Mahut. Now protect Earth and help these two whenever they need your assistance. That is a direct order."
"Very well. Goodbye and take care my boy." With that said, Mahut, the Guardian of Earth, and one of Ten Dorigans, returned to his home on Earth.
"Kiersten!" exclaimed a truly surprised Hayden.
"Not now Hayden. Your job is to protect this man, Gage, with your life. You must fall in battle before he even has to step into it. Fail and you shall feel my wrath. Gage, as for you, your path is about to unfold. Travel to each of the planets, free the Dorigans, and bring together the scattered people of Urania. Your identity shall come clear to you soon. Ask the Ten for any assistance. Clear?"
"Yes Kiersten," agreed a nervous Hayden.
"Kiersten, what's going on?"
"No time to explain. Promise me you will fulfill my favor?"
"Yes, but -"
"No time. Hayden, I'm counting on you to protect him with your life." With that, Valian held their hands together and he whispered, 'Ancients, watch over them.' "Now go, be off to Xajo." He closed his eyes, and transported them to Xajo. Tired and exhausted, plus the pain that he had been pushing, quickly negated the minimal energy left in him. 'No, I must go on. I can't be selfish anymore. Now, I truly understand.' With a final heave, he sent to the Ten and Kumarkow, the leader of the Disphisux. 'And so, it begins. Your worst nightmare once more, Kumarkow. Ten, your most vital job has begun; protect the lands until I am once more awakened.' The Ten, still fighting, bloodied and tired from their exertion and wounds, quickly pondered and worried about what Valian was trying to tell them. Meanwhile, Kumarkow sat in his throne, wondering what the Hell Valian meant by that. He knew the boy could do nothing. The only things that would even pose the slightest threat for him was the Trinity. But it had been locked away by himself and Valian. Valian only knew two-thirds of it. The other third, only he knew.
And with the impact of a thousand planets struck him. Tristin, the Prince of Urania too knew the last third, for he was there that fateful day:
"It's over Valian."
"No, the Trinity shall never fall."
"But it will. For I have secured to me the final lock of Urania."
"Yet I have the key."
"Think again. You have but two-thirds of it." Kumarkow let out a hollow laugh as Valian thought back and was shocked to see the truth. "Shocked Valian? For once, you were fooled."
"Not quite Kumarkow. For you see, I was there with you brother," whispered Tristin.
"NO!" Kumarkow's rage washed over Tristin and he was flung back.
"Tristin!" As Valian rushed toward him, Kumarkow took the chance to lock the ancient castle of Urania, Trinity.
'Valian, save Trinity." In vain, Valian once more raced back to the castle but was too later. For the first time in his life, he had failed. And that, is when, he opened himself up to his powers, and became the Final Archangel, Power. 'Akrevia,' and nothing was more.
'He couldn't have,' pleaded Kumarkow with himself. But his heart stopped, his breathing dissipated, as he heard the words he dreaded most.
'I might be gone for now Kumarkow, but I promise you yet, we will have our duel.
To see a world, through a grain of sand. To hold infinity in you hand.
To arouse power unthinkable, To call forth deadly power unconquerable.
Awaken; awaken from thy slumber of eternity. Guard the land once more, o' immortal Trinity.
